I don't think these should.
But i do agree that Obsession atleast shouldn't receive that heavy buff in Dying Light :p
-
Doesn't it already have it? Or did it got removed for some reason?
Im like 100% sure after its buffed you could see the timer.
-
No, DS wasn't fine before the changes. If there wasn't a hook nearby you were almost 100% getting d-striked, not knowing if after 35% you're gonna get striked also wasn't fine.
Also you can still "recreate" old ds by getting pulled from the locker (or getting grabbed)
Like killers can hit survivors through windows from like 5 feet away, have a bunch of perks that tell them exactly where survivors are, have perks that punish survivors for doing exactly what they have to do to win (or lets be real play) the game (like heal and [BAD WORD]), can slow the game down immensley with stuff like ruin and thanataphobia, and survivors have like, nothing even close to that powerful to fight back with and yall decided to take away one of the closest things survivors had to a decent defense.
Survivors also have stuff that does something against Killers like also getting their aura revealed, speeding up the gen speed (prove thyself for example), making the chase last longer with exhaustion perks.

Yeah. BBQ NEEDS to be nerfed and so does Nurses callin. So far this is the best post i've ever heard on this
Why does Nurse's need to be nerfed? Just don't heal in TR (it can be good with Stealth killers that i can agree with)
EDIT: As for OP, this would just encourage killer to avoid one survivor for as long for possible, wouldn't it?
-
Or we could get the Identity V thing - When everyone is down (and i think 3-5 minutes passed in the match) survivors can "concede" but it must be 4-0
-
@InnCognito said:
The hatch is lore.
- The hatch should have NEVER been allowed to close in the first place.
- The hatch was a great idea. Because it brought out the selfishness in survivors. Vs what it is now. Due to ECG. Where survivors DC so the other player can just hatch and be done.
- Hatch stand-off was bad. So there should have been a way to purge survivors from the match after 40 minutes. Instead EGC is there, and a closed hatch leads to a DC, yet again.
Hatch stand-off got fixed by giving killers the ability to close the hatch.
And wdym "due to egc"...? People did that anyways, when the killer was slugging (before the hatch close) a swf friend would just dc to give the other the hatch.
-
No. The killer would probably down you immeditely after anyways
They should get their struggle points for free tho i agree.

I didn't know that there were two, but the fact that there are is ######### dumb. Also even if there's two types, they should both count towards perks that center around protection hits
Ikr
-
@Skittlesthehusky said:
honestly, i love the idea of that. it forces survivors to want to leave quicker and puts more tension on the end game for both sides.
It wouldnt. Openning gates yourself does.

@Luigifan64 said:
I think it’s just bugged the ######### out. I do agree with you 100%, especially seeing as I’ll get the Protection score event, but it won’t count towards perks. I also think that taking a 1 hit down (chainsaw, EW3 Myers, etc.) for a survivor (regardless of their health state) should give you a protection hit seeing as you are giving your life for them.
But which protection score? Because there are 2 for some reason (the 100 one doesnt count)
-
So with botany and resilence you would heal at normal speed? (I mean yeah 3 perks i just want to clarify)
And Overcharge would make Surge obsolete

@Williamz said:
At the moment survivors are getting off the hook and running straight at the killer wanting to be knockdown and picked up and since this meta has now evolved to that the majority of survivors know when their team mates are being slugged to avoid DS and one or two people will come out and to heal them while the third is on a gen. As the killer you are forced to move straight to another gen because you don't have the time to bait a heal for a slug.
You also have no idea who is running DS due to only one obsession. The only time you can actually directly pressure is to either eat the DS and become forced to tunnel them to death at this risk of someone else having DS.
The new DS has no counter play unlike the last meta and has far more strategic value in SWF than ever before.
DS's active time should be changed to 20 seconds. If you can reach a loop or a jungle gym you are within reason to outplay the killer. DS should act as self use borrowed time, nothing more.
Let me also just say this is why gen perk builds on killers is becoming far more common in this meta, especially pop the weasel.
You mean 20 second Endurance effect? Or 20 second the same version of DS we have now?
-
That last one... isn't that technically here? You know just smacking them.

Cue *sad Legion noises*

This is a unique Wake Up rework, but its just a better deja vu. (Which i guess sometimes could work >.>)
-
You still have insta-heal (after 8 seconds) and free health state if the killer hits you in bewteen 15 seconds

Use something else. DS is a waste of a perk slot
Its not tho

No. And knowing BHVR I highly doubt we see the "event" before November.
They did say tbo, they'll try to release it with the release of mid-chapter

Farming is not bannable, even if one survivor does not want to. It doesn't matter.
The only thing that would be bannable is, if you keep downing one survivor and leave him on the ground while you farm with the other one, so that the one on the ground has no chance in getting points.
Beeing nice and having fun is totally ok and not bannable, as long as you involve all temaining survivors and not target one survivor to prevent that he's getting any points.
Keeping that one survivor tho is kinda sucky

Last year there were even flowers. This is at least something new in the gameplay. Do you see some kind of rework here? In the past Halloween event? No. What is the problem?
Survivors would most likely kill themselfes when they got enough. Do you want that again?
The only thing that was pretty neat were the lanterns

You are aware that they've locked ARchive progress behind time-gates, right? The only reason they've done that is so people cannot unlock the entire Archive (and therefore the Tomes) in short succession. Unlocking the entirety of the Archives early would save you frustration when it comes to Rift progression and that's a net loss for the developers, who're banking on you giving in and buying tiers for AC.
Im talking about tomes. Not rifts.
Tomes arent time locked

Instead of playing, should I read the lore? You won’t delay people in the game if you add notes and this lore, if the gameplay is the same.
You just said they dont introduce new content, i show you new content.
-
Someone forgot about Tomes.
You know free lore content for the game

Myers top 3 ? LOL.

I disagree with many things.
Plague without corrupt is D/C (haha) tiers while with corrupt becomes high B low A

If this happens, the mending will have to be affected by ALL healing perks and add ons. So no, i dont wanna have mending be read by nurses and even effected by sloppy
Coulrophobia oh god

Well yeah, to even make a signifiact diffeence it would take around a year

I did try to use it, didn't work for me :c

It is supposed to be a time waster. This makes it so that the survivor has mending as a priority. Now, legion hits you and then goes to another survivor and you keep doing a generator. With this change, the timer actually ticks down and you need to mend as quickly as possible.
Maybe you will get some downs from this. Who knows?
Oh yeah i know it's supposed to be a time waster. It's just you said:
So my idea is to make deep wounds more threatening and not counterproductive with legion.
It improves the game that deep wounds is threatening,
And i just don't see those suggestion do any of those.
-
This should be posted in bug section! But yeah that seems to be an issue recently.
-
- Im sorry for you and your (solo) team
- I don't remember exactly what they said about No Mither music, but i think they can't do that because it's tied to being injured. (thus having the music)
-
You can hear it in 1st phase, not in struggle for some reason.
-
I feel like this wouldn't change much.
It just looks like +5 second to the mend timer. It doesn't become threating because you can just hold the button whenever out of chase. It's still just a time waster.

You want to fix ruin? Make the regress for a good skillcheck 5% which reduces by 1% for every totem cleansed on the map.
What would be tiered? Still 3/4/5% of the regress?

Literally counting.
Why do you want to know that? Thats what I don’t get. What benefit do you have hearing the heartbeat if the killer could be just there without a heartbeat?
Me not feeling uneasy. That's my reason and benefit

@PGJSF said:

See my previous answer. With 13 killers out of 17, you won’t hear any heartbeat and the killer will still be on you the second you are unhooked.
Where did you get that number?
And what if they will still be on you the second you are unhooked. I just would like to know that BEFORE i get unhooked that my teammate is doing a risky safe.

Sorry what does iirc stand for?
If they stay for the duration of the rift that's really good to hear. I was just worried that you would need to get really far into the rift within a few weeks in order to earn all of the vials. I remember last year you only had 2 weeks after the event ended to spend your vials.
Also don't know why this is in feedback. I don't remember selecting here.
"If i remember correctly" if im not mistaken.
And my guess is like half of the whole Rift so like 35.

How should I know? I think that’s pointless too.
But why do you think that?
-
@PGJSF said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/772563#Comment_772563
Again, because it’s pointless unless you are against four of 17 killers in the game. The other 13 can be near the hook the moment you get unhooked without you hearing any TR while struggling.
So then - why can you hear the TR while in the 1st hook phase?
-
@PGJSF said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/772402#Comment_772402
With doc you can see the sparkles on the ground AND doc has the ability to make you hear the TR when you are outside of it so that would be pointless.
Huntress, Billy, Spirit and Demo don’t need to be near the hook to camp it. A “good” Billy who wants to camp will chainsaw at the hook at the right time, Demo would use a portal, Nurse would blink, Huntresses often camps from miles away aiming at the hook, and Spirt is Spirit. In most of the scenarios you don’t know where the killer is coming from AND you couldn’t hear the heartbeat. Freddy literally ignores BT and can be invisible to awake survivors.
I didn’t forget anything, I was just thinking forward.
Actually, i don't get your reasoning tbh.
Imma ask just to make sure - Why are you against people in struggle state hearing the TR?
-
@PGJSF said:
Why should you know? To tell your SWF about it? Use Kindred.
I actually feel really uneasy when i see the ,killer which i know has the TR, just walking about near me.
I just wonder why does it get removed.
