Ok m8.
Surely can’t be anything to do with maps when double blink nurses get wrecked by comp survivors on stuff like cornfields and macmillians.
*sarcasm off.
Map design is the issue followed by dead hard and second chances, you spend thirty seconds in a chase you’re about to down them and two gens are almost done at this point you swing and then dead hard and the survivor is back to another loop, two gens pop and a third is on its way and you’re still on the first hook.
You can’t break chase and go for someone else super early in the game when you need that first initial hook.
Midwich is a better sized map, good luck doing well as a killer at high MMR on artists maps on anything other than double blink nurse but even then she needs four blinks to reach past the middle of the map.
Another good example is an M1 killer on Mothers Dwelling, it takes you like a minute an a half to walk from one end of the map to the other so the survivors can rush the middle generator and then force you to run to each side and at that point they’ve got you at their mercy.
-
Yo-Yo, loop near walls, move up and down terrain RPD is a good example of this, if you run back towards her on a second floor of a map she has trouble short blinking as it might force her to go through the floor and then she’s only got a limited time to get back up with a short blink and in that time you’ve got plenty of time to get some distance or to try and keep line of sight hidden again. (A good example is the computer room with a totem on second floor in RPD with the pallet, it’s super easy to force a nurse to blink through the floor there.)
Ive seen quite a lot of people complaining about nurse on this forum in game when I play nurse and they just try to throw pallets down in or run in a straight line.
-
Yes I do it on a hex build on artist, pentimento, pain resonance, crowd control and play thing.
So many times they try to vault then get downed after they can’t use it again and if they cleanse the totems that’s good because I can go around and do 5 hex totems instantly for pentimento
-
Remove zombies. Give a single shot rocket launcher which deals a health state if Nemesis hits close enough say within 0.3 meters.
Increase the hindered on tentacle to one second as a start and see how it goes from there.
-
The developers have stated as soon as the final survivor is downed it will start the mori stuff.
-
It's probably going to be some crappy charm.

"I lost a gen, there is nothing i can do anymore" ... thats just a bad players issue.
More like poor map design issues.
M1 killer on mothers dwelling is clearly the "killers" fault.

It's a niche perk in my opinion.
Now CoH is adjusted. And if no one brings boon perk, this perk becomes useless.
At high MMR I'm still seeing COH 9/10 games, a three-second or so nerf is nothing for a survivor to heal.
-
I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt.
-
Why did killers need another objective?
-
Nope, Dredge is a C tier killer.
-
Don't forget hackers who can use self care instantly to heal themselves, they always escape so that inflates the stats at high MMR.
-
I can't remember could we do Nemesis on Hawkins?

The nurse is fine the way she is.
He's the hardest character to get to grips with.
For God's sake, why you want to upgrade it down ?
Because it means they can't always escape if they play against a Nurse.
I became a nurse main and since then everything I've seen from good survivors I've turned into counterplay for when I go against a Nurse and it feels so rewarding.
Your average survivor doesn't want to do that they just want to sit at a pallet - drop pallet - mess up loop and then dead hard every game.

If the survivors could shoot him then every stun short be shorter so they can't just keep doing it when it's needed most.
Well, there would be limited crates so they can only do it a few times and then that's it.
Did you make this video? Because I love it.
-
Most streamers don't like to play crap killers unless they get paid to.
-
The maps are too SWF friendly so I'd rather SWF got removed from the game completely.
Especially when the map has a tonne of pallets and your first chase literally has EVERY pallet available to them on the map and dead hard.
You can't break chase because that info is beamed across to their mates smashing 3 other gens on the sides of the maps.
If they don't remove SWF I'd prefer it if being in a party alters the trial like fewer pallets/vaults.

There's more than one hook nearby don't pretend like there aren't at least 2-3 hooks you can reach, I'm not arguing that the strat isn't annoying because it is but there are way worse maps than strode to run that on and the survivors are always guaranteed to lose because if they adopt that strat then nobody is doing gens and always trolling and forcing the wiggle out or getting themselves up with no mither but they always run back to the same area when they employ this strat, regardless they will always lose and it's more of a frustration than an exploit
With boil over you can't get out of the house and to a hook in time.
Streamers have tested it.

If you're talking about strode house there's a hook upstairs that spawns and not only that but all the other houses have openings you can fall out of before they have a good amount of wiggle progress, it's not an exploit it's just a new map and you aren't sure where the hooks spawn like in normal maps you played a thousand times I suggest you learn the hook spawns on the map, as for the no mither trolling, that has been around for a long time and the worst place to have that happen is badham in the downstairs of the preschool and the survivors burn a bloodied blueprint to make basement spawn in shack with breakout and soul guard also in play
One hook, so even if he does hook one the other guy can kill themselves on hook and nice you can't hook anyone else.

*Her 3-blink and Range addons not withstanding
Nerf those and maybe her recharge addons and Nurse will be fully fine
3 blink nurse has super long recharge and does her more harm than good.

Funny I've been playing since 2017 and haven't needed dead hard vs Nurse.
You just need a brain,

His zombies may not fit in his kit but neither does a rocket launcher fit in the game aswell.
This is not a Resident Evil game, it's Resident Evil adapted into Dead by Daylight and like all games or movies adapted into another media, you must expect some compromises to come along with it aswell, that includes not having a Rocket Launcher in DBD as it does not fit in this game and that's just a fact. period. It's chances of making it into the game is as realistic as your rework kit being implemented, they're both non-existing.
I'm done here.
Racoon police department doesn't fit into DBD and they did it.
-
Have they actually said they are going away or what? From what I gathered from the stream they are giving killers a free mori for the last survivor but that doesn't suggest they are removing it completely for use on other survivors.
-
Why should they be rewarded for being hooked.
-
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
Because that'd make every Boon useless
Just like cleansing a hex totem and losing a perk then?

The only thing which really sticks to the lore of Nemesis is him destroying zombies that get in his way.
So when I smash a zombie that feels correct but he doesn't use his tentacle constantly he uses his hulking figure to smash through every obstacle.
Instead of the zombies, he should have a case that respawns that lets him pick a single shot rocket launcher which can destroy pallets/walls and injure survivors on a hit.
And maybe melee hits infect the survivors with the T-virus and after a certain amount of time like the plague at maximum effect if it isn't cured it lets nemesis see the survivor's aura while they are within five meters and beyond that, it disappears and that fits with the lore of him being a hunter.
For the survivors, they've got the vaccine cases and also they could add a gun case with a gun with 5 shots, and say if Nemesis is shot directly in the heart 5 times by the gun it stuns him for five seconds and he falls to his knees clenching it and growling.
-
In "comp" tournaments even with banned perks killers like nurse struggle.
And bad survivors cry that she's OP.
Against a good group of survivors with comms she's nothing.
-
Pretty much.
-
Her stats (lowest kill rate and win rate in all killers) is the defining factor.
She does not need nerfs.
-
@indieeden7 said:
Why on earth would you ever want to play against good survivors as a killer you aren't used to?
MMR takes into account 80% of your biggest killers MMR so it doesn't matter anyway, you'll go against good people regardless.
-
@Blueberry said:
10 seconds to realistically pick up and hook, 20+ seconds to down (being very generous here and assuming already injured). That's 30 seconds. 30x 3=90 seconds since that's time given to the others. 90-32(that 40% gen regression)=58 seconds lost on every single down.
That's assuming they're all injured already which obviously wouldn't be the case, not counting the time/ pressure lost to go and kick the gen(also assuming you can even make it in time), assuming very fast downs which can literally be countered by just pre throwing pallets, lastly assuming you can even get to a scourge hook every single time(which won't be the case).
Yeah I don't see the issue looking at the numbers. Not even close to an issue.
Especially when it loves spawning 3 scourge hooks in the corner of the map.

They are too strong stacked together.
It unfairly removes too much of the survivor objective for simply doing the killer objective which in the current state of the game is expected for killers to easily get hooks. It also unfairly punishes casuals trying to enjoy the game.
Imagine completing a gen to gain an extra life or cause the person on the hook to not lose dying process. That is how bad these perks are.
Good survivors can do 3 gens before the killer gets one hook.
-
The game is basically on life support at this stage. (Pumping out survivor cosmetics) and that's it.

Pop 2.0 15% free regression and popping another gen 25%. Fair and balanced. Lmao, of course they need a nerf
Needs a down and a hook.
Survivors are bad if they can't do 2/3 gens by the first down.

Survivor perks are stronger AND there's 16 Survivor perks to 4 Killer perks, per match.
That's literally what I said.
-
How can you miss a skill check? It's easy.
-
OP I hope you realise survivor perks are stronger and there's 4 survivors against the killers 4 perks.

Imagine the killer being rewarded for getting a hook, imagine it.

“Comp” survivors make up less than 1% of the playerbase. You can’t use the “comp” excuse as a way of making Nurse seem balanced in public matches when almost every player is casual.
And yes she does disregard all defenses even in comp matches, they just plow through gens while the killer camps. That’s a comp match. We are talking strictly public matches, ya know which is where the game should be balanced around.
There are much more extremely casual MegHeads than there are sweaty comp teams
The stats say otherwise, nurse has the lowest win and kill rate of all killers.
Which means she is actually needing a buff.

- I main killer. I have defended the Spirit of all killers in the past.
- I listed Starstruck as the most egregious example. I've seen that perk literally banned on her in tournaments, so thought it was worth bringing up.
- Even if you were correct, that does not invalidate a word I've said.
- Make Nurse crap? She goes through walls and has a 3-blink add-on, range add-ons, and double recharge that essentially turn her into her pre-nerf state.
Now, I see that there is likely no changing your mind. I can respect that, and I would appreciate the same amount of respect in return. Thank you.
3 blinks which gives her a massively slow recharge, don't lie you aren't killer main.

Unfortunately DBD has one of the most toxic online communities in gaming history.

There would be no way to "downvote". Either you give the bonus BP, or you don’t. Not giving it would not change anything about the outcome of the match or the amount of BP earned by the killer / survivors.
Wouldn't be used as SWF would downvote the killer.
Then they simply won't so the system wont have any use..

That's a little uncalled for. I just had a thought and wanted opinions. I'm not complaining nor am I picking sides.
You are complaining, you made a thread with hidden nerf motives.
You can smell it from a mile away, survivors always suggest "changing" something which ultimately would make nurse crap which is their ultimate goal.

Okay, I’ll bite. How is Nurse in the “spot of perfect balance”? She’s the best killer in the game who completely disregards all defenses and has extremely limited counterplay other than breaking LOS and guessing.
Especially now because she’s bugged not just with the range add-one but also due to the fact that she attacks and swings before you’re even physically able to see her.
Yeah, I’m sorry but her power is absolutely not balanced and never will be but we’ve al just accepted that because, well…it’s Nurse.
"Disregards alll defences"
Say that to the "comp" survivors who know how to beat her.
-
Because spirit is #########, she's slow, hair sticks out above loops oh and did I say she gets looped?
-
@indieeden7 said:

Yeah because God forbid the community finds a problem with the only killer that can clip through walls being able to have easy access to insta down perks as well.
Don't flock around someone who's downed then.
If everyone is on a generator star-struck can literally do nothing when survivors run to the corner of the map and get downed so must be a low skill MMR thing.
-
There isn't a recent "stats" which I can find a source from online however there was an unofficial killer stats site and the nurse stats were Nurse - Kill Rate: 49.25 percent | Pick Rate: 5.27 percent.
The lowest stats of all killers.
-
@Munqaxus said:

All killers are getting slight above a 50% kill rate, because of MMR. So when you say solid chance of winning, you definitely mean consistently. It means Nurse is the only killer that is consistently breaking the 50% rule.
Not sure why the developers haven't reworked her yet, since more and more killer players are gravitating to her and Blight because they do break the 50% kill rate rule.
I'd like to see a source for your stats otherwise I'll take it with a grain of survivor main salt.
