Christ survivors love to complain about everything.

And you don’t have any problem with survs feeling hopeless against nurse, do you?
Maybe they should learn to play against nurse then?
Survivors not understanding how to play survivor is not a valid reason to nerf a killer.
-
Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more common, hopefully this increases their queue times and the amount of killers leaving DBD.
This guy in Spookys video is literally the survivor epitome.
-
Kinda glad because its giving nothing but crap, ugly survivor items.
-
80% of your strongest killers MMR goes onto any new killers you have even if you haven't played them at all.

I think some people are missing the OPs point. When a survivor is being tunnelled, sometimes the rest of the team will band together to try and prevent it. This can make a nice change of pace. Instead of slogging from gen to gen, checking lockers and bushes or eating a billion pallets, the killer can chase one survivor and the rest will follow.
Exactly, it's like the Pied Piper effect.
-
Because they can use her phasing to bypass body blocking survivors.
-
She doesn't need to be touched at all.
People need to realise you can't just hold pallets, W and your finger over dead hard constantly when against Nurse.
-
It's a mind game.

I don’t understand how people can even think Nurse is the best designed killer. She’s been a failure ever since her release.
In your opinion.

Been bullied in all 3 of my matches so far tonight. Macro flashing, headon when exit gates are already powered, BT, teabagging.
Killers are the just there for the amusement of the survivor most of the time.
Pretty much and then they complain when they get tunneled/camped/NOED etc.
Once their entertainment hits them back they don't like it.
-
Nurse.
Rewards skill and thinking on the go.
-
I'd rather they remove the speed reduction on Myers EW1 and lunge distance.
-
I enjoy it because it takes the power away from the survivor.
If they don't get tunneled they can do what ever they want, where as when tunneled they are just the rat in the barrel.
The tunnelling stops them from doing anything, getting points, emblems etc.
And if the other survivors just rush the gens and leave they won't pip because they never got chased so it forces them to interact if they want a higher grade.

Perfect gameplay destroys any game. Meta builds, unbeatable strategies etc. The more predictable a game is, the less fun it is. A solved game is a dead game.
This is why the devs should do a complete 180 and run away from the MMR and balancing ideology as fast as ######### possible.
I'd love a random perk mode, hell or even a perk draft mode.
Give a random set of perks and everyone has to pick from them.
-
Sorry to break it for you but the devs said facecamping is a mind game.
-
SWF.
I'll happily dodge a SWF and then wait a few moments before joining the queue again so they get "flushed".
I don't really want my build and mind games to be undone just because they have mics.
-
Lore wise she looks down because using her ability damages her.
-
Even sound in DBD is borked sometimes and really inconsistent, I had a game last night as Myers on Autohaven and I didn't have stridor and I had a weird sound error of mikaela breathing in my ear really loud like AMSR when she was really far away from me in a chase and then some times I couldn't hear an injured Feng right in front of me.
-
Not a spirit main but I had The Game yesterday against a SWF and I found that using your power for like a second was enough to make a survivor mess up their loop movement and get downed even with iron will.
I guess they thought I was going to commit and would try to run to the pallet in the loop only to get a lunge.
-
God I'd love to do grade based matchmaking again.
-
Clown has to get a direct hit with it within basically melee range to down you, how did you manage to get hit? Just throw pallets down early and break the loop...

They should add water in map.

The performance on the game is already atrocious I wouldn't trust the devs with adding water to the game.

That is true. Even on maps like swamp it can be hard to put the crows right. Though it never bothers me to much.
Oh damn I forgot about Swamp, GG.

It honestly should affect all stuns that arent ones involved with carrying
It does, pallet stuns last for like a second.
-
I don't think anyone has mentioned yet that her vertical gaming is literally non-existent, if you get a multi-level map you can't contest the generators beneath you with your power as you have to be on the same floor and with survivor sided maps like Coal Tower, Badham (when the generators are underground/above you in floor).
I don't think the devs are ever going to allow her to fire her crows up or down.

NWO is such an overrated perk in my opinion. Almost never do I see killers actually get much value if any at all from it. Off the top of my head I can't even remember the last time I saw it used and it wasn't nearly a wasted slot.
It is pretty much a wasted perk, survs can tap the switch and then play immersion simulator, do a few totems, light a few boons and then open it once it's gone.

Didnt enduring used to do that?
Well it nerfs the stun on DS so they gain minimal distance.
Stridor used to counter Iron Will but that got nerfed also so it's kinda a useless perk now.

I always thought Lerys was a great map for stealth killers - I find it pretty easy to perform there as them (including as Sadako).
Not when there's a SWF I got absolutely trashed by dead hard and a boon which was literally invisible somewhere and whenever I got near a gen I'd see them running absolutely miles away looking behind them at me so probably Spine Chill/discord.

This is how a Nurse/Blight main is born Gann as this mentality is how killer variety dies.
Because if they are going to be harassed for losing as a weak killer then they might as well go all out on the strong ones.
If they'd be treated horribly either way might as well play the meta.
That's one of the reasons I learned Nurse, wasting too much time on loops as my original main when I started dbd in 2017 (Myers P3) then getting taunted at the end.
Would love to play Blight at a high level but a disability from an injury on my hand prevents me from being as "reactive" with my movement as say LilithOmen :(
-
It looks like you did generators and nothing else.
-
Dead Hard.
Adrenaline. (Giving a full heal while in the chase and a sprint ignoring exhaustion.)
-
How can survivors get caught off guard by tinkerer? You have a third-person view and hearing you can hear and see the killer when they are like 30 meters away.
Maybe 40 meters away with Nemesis because of his stomping.
And against a SWF it's useful for like one use and then once they've realised you have it the perk becomes another waste of slot because it will activate when you are in a chase and the person being chased will beam the info across instantly.
-
5 is my average hook count in random matches as nurse at high MMR when it's a survivor sided map, usually lose 2 gens in that first chase, as soon as I leave the hook to patrol gens the person gets unhooked and then usually at that point another generator is almost done at the other side of the map and the recently unhooked is usually healed by the time I reach said generator which is basically 99'ed at this point.
Then it becomes a frustrating game of yo-yo and hide and seek because they know I can't leave the generator to go for hooks because they can rush the gens on the other side of the map by the time I get there and finish the 99'ed gen and they have a boon somewhere they can run straight to if injured knowing I can't chase them or lose the gen.
Happens the most on Yamakoa maps and auto haven.
It's so boring at high MMR.
-
If they made every killer viable how can the survivors cry about something being OP?!
They'd run straight into trapper's beartrap and cry for nerfs on him.
-
They probably realised that the grades were being involved with MMR and disabled them.

I really don't understand why notification spamming hasn't been fixed yet. There is nothing less immersive than hearing that explosion every second cause a survivor is humping a pallet.
Especially when they desperately want you to 'see' them leave.
It's pathetic.
-
Or his sanctum wasn't as "safe" as he thought it was and the entity knew he was inside there all that time and fed from his hope and an entity created spider kills him inside it.

@Bwsted said:
Technically you should use a combo like Corrupt+deadlock to go along Noed+NWO. Just sayin'.
They don't even have to give you 1 down let alone a hit, but they do just to toy with you and give you hope, like a cat playing with his food. They can be godlike and go all out, be godlike and screw around, or just be mediocre because they still have absolute control over the match.
Can I get those survivors in soloQ, please? Thanks.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2890531#Comment_2890531
Knockout is irrelevant against SWF. You're using a soloQ killer build.
I'm not using it for the Blind status I'm using it for the 15 seconds of slow crawling to prevent them from escaping the exit gates by crawling and then getting blood warden up before they can crawl to the exit line.
That was a new effect added a few patches ago.
And then the NOED is just there as an extra to get that one fully healed person downed instantly so they are forced to leave or as SWF usually does they hang around getting greedy and play straight into the blood warden and become trapped like rats in a barrel.

Then don't play Onryo if losing bothers you this much and she's as weak as you say she is.
I'm a nurse main, I kept fighting the same SWF endlessly on Nurse so I thought I'd try another killer to get some variety hence Nemesis and then Sadako.
-
-
I've started doing a "SWF killer" build on Nemesis, NOED, Blood Warden, Knockout and Corrupt with the addons where zombies move at 150% speed when generators are done and 50% faster passively + respawn in the exit gates.
I've had the gate open in my face with two zombies inside it and they went to town on the survivors and then while knockout is still active you get blood warden up and quickly hook the downed survivors in the exit gate.
Really fun.
-
@Ryan489x said:
you guys are missing the easiest solution of all. proximity voice chat that the killer can hear. it would force SWF's to watch what they say and if they're not careful it can help a killer.
They'd find a way around it, on my laptop, there's an anti-virus setting that can disable microphone input on specific programs if I wanted to whilst still having it active on everything else.
-
@toxik_survivor said:
It's not their fault you are playing onryo...you expect courtesy from survivors when you are a killer and trying to kill them...the constant notification is pretty annoying though
In the previous game, I was nemesis I gave them a GG because they played well and it was completely silent, as soon as the table was turned I got just BM and nothing else.

Did you not hear. The devs are getting rid of Pyramid head because the license expired so they are coming out with a new killer to replace him
Where?
-
@GannTM said:
Sadako is not the weakest killer at all. She gets slept on a lot.
Play her on Lerys against a SWF you literally can't do a thing.
I was lucky I even managed to kill Dwight as he was trying to body block me.
In non-manifest the screen goes almost pitch black in place I would have preferred to be trapper on this map than Sadako.
-
Literally this, I stopped running gen regression perks and corrupt on nurse and I'm losing gens SOOO fast now.
I don't even get a proper chase anymore and when I run lethal pursuer the survivors are always SPREAD out when they spawn it's a joke.
-
Where is there something about a new killer? O.o
