Legion may be the exception to this rule. In a previous QnA, the devs said that between trials killers are kept in their respective maps, since the four legion members share a map, we can assume that they do spend time together outside of trials. This brings up some questions about where Leatherface and Ghostface are kept between trials though.

I'm still enjoying dbd, but I've recently been playing Little Nightmares, I got the game for my 16th birthday last month and I've been OBSESSED ever since, I've just completed my fourth play through of the game since I got it. And I can't wait for Little Nightmares 2!

How did you come to the decision to focus on David, Jane, Doctor and Spirit for this tome? Doctor kind of makes sense but the others took me and others by surprise.

I have a couple left from level three that I've yet to do and I got around halfway through the survivor path of level four, but I've completed all the challenges needed for Claudette and Trapper's archives, which was all I really cared about and I'm taking a break from challenges until tome two is out.

She could very well be ADHD. I just prefer the Aspergers headcanon as I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was four and it's nice to be represented, especially with a more empathetic character like Claudette, as opposed to a more self-centered one like Sheldon Cooper for example.
Also I love your headcanon, I can perfectly picture them having sparing sessions between trails!

My forum name comes from a mix of Mermaid and Girl, and 2003 is the year I was born, my Psn name used to be the same but I've since changed it to "BlendyTheHealbot", Blendy as in "Blendette" as I am a Claudette main(I don't actually play like a Blendette though so I don't really know what I was thinking) and Healbot cause I often like running healing builds. I'm thinking of changing it again though, cause I'm not so sure I want people to think I'm a Blendette.

I like to imagine that Claudette is on the Autism Spectrum, specifically Aspergers Syndrome. Her Archives lore definitely has some hints towards this, although it could be ADHD or something else entirely. Given how the lore has been slightly inconsistent here and there, I'm just going to pretend that she is until explicitly proven otherwise.
Going off of that, I like to think that when not gathering plants for healing, Claudette rarely talked to her fellow survivors, but now that she's warmed up to them, she'll occasionally launch into a long, one-sided conversation about botany. Wether or not she gets interrupted or stopped by another survivor depends on which survivors she ends up talking to, I like to imagine some survivors find this behavior endearing, others (probably Kate seeing as she's the one who tries to keep everyone hopeful) know that it distracts her from their horrible situation, and others just find it annoying. I speak from experience with these things I've annoyed my parents many times with my massive tangents about subjects I enjoy 😂

I can't help but feel you are exaggerating the problem of getting to the egc though. I rarely see someone immediately leave when it starts or having Killers DC that often.
I also get to the EGC a lot, especially if I'm using Spine Chill. Also, make sure you have borrowed time. I didn't the first time I went for this challenge and it ended poorly. Lol
I may have been exaggerating a little, I was just salty after bad game and for some reason thought a rant thread was a good idea :p
The issue I'm having isn't that my teammates leave straight away, just that they don't stay long enough to get hooked, sorry for the confusion.

Don't worry about the thread - everyone gets angry and frustrated every once in a while, especially when there's something that's really important to you and you can't seem to do anything about it. I've considered doing that, but I'm not very good with social interactions(hence why I relate so heavily to Claudette), plus I told my parents that I'd considered doing that and I think they'd rather me not get help from people I don't really know, so I try to avoid stuff like that for their sake.

you just genrush the killer, dont go for unhooks (other ones do it anyway, or they do gens) and you are in the endgame very soon. Then you open an exit as fast as possible, and 2 out of 3 killers run noed anyway (and noone did totems, as always). They down one, you unhook him with borrowed time and dont care about getting caught.

I would just like to apologise for the very whiny nature of this thread, I was angry after a particularly bad game and didn't think much before posting, I'm sure I could have made this thread more constructive.
@sulaiman @Fibijean thanks for the advice, I'm just gonna try and get this challenge over and done with, so than I can put this behind me. The only challenge I have left that I want to do will be the spine chill one, and after this madness, I wouldn't mind being a Blendette for a few games.

I wanted to be a mermaid too! I've since given that up of course, but I'm hoping to be a marine biologist, or something else to do with conservation in the future.

I think Yui's perks can be good, they're just very situational, certainly fun though.
Any Means Necessary is only useful if killers don't break pallets, which means you'll likely only be able to save very unsafe loops.
Breakout will probably only be good for Sabo SWF builds.
Lucky Break is kinda good for stealth builds.
I'd say her grunts of pain are average, probably around the same level as Kate.

As far-fetched as it sounds, I actually really like this idea. I wish more original survivors had actual connections with their killers.

It'll never happen, but I want something mermaid themed, preferably for Claudette, I could see a mermaid costume or dress happening, but I'd love for them to go all out. Scales on her arms and legs, a dress made of seaweed maybe? A coral headband? That or a mermaid-esque skin for Spirit.

The challenge only counts blood points earned during the match, multipliers such as blood point offerings, WGLF and Barbecue, etc. aren't counted.

I'm not familiar with much in the way of literature, so if that's the inspiration I'm unsure. But in Greek mythology there is a God named Hephaestus, he was the son of Zeus and Hera, but was so hideous that Hera cast him from a cliff into the ocean. A sea nymph raised him and he became an amazing blacksmith, often making jewellery for the sea nymph who raised him. When Hera found out about this, she invited him to Mount Olympus. When he arrived, he presented a jewelled throne for Hera but when she sat on it, she was trapped on it. In order to release her, Zeus offered Hephaestus Aphrodite's hand in marriage in exchange for Hera's freedom. It's not quite the exact same, but it was the first thing that sprang to mind. Sorry for the wall of text :P

I relate pretty heavily to Claudette. I have some pretty severe social issues from bad experiences in school, I also have an interest in biology, I'm hoping to become a marine biologist, not quite the same thing as botany, but a branch of biology nonetheless.

When it comes to other online games, I normally play Paladins when DBD gets a bit stressful. When I'm too stressed for any online gaming, any horror game with a good story, Detention and Through the Woods are two personal favourites of mine.

I'm severely arachnophobic and I'd love a spider killer, I play this game to be scared and unfortunately that's a rarity in the games current state.
I'd love killer versions of existing survivors, I don't know if this would be possible from a lore standpoint, even though the devs confirmed on a dev stream that survivors can become killers, they didn't state whether or not the killer and survivor version could exist at the same time.
I'd also love a mermaid killer, but I'd cry tears of joy if the two ideas were merged and we got mermaid Claudette as a killer. I have absolutely no idea how they'd find a lore reason for Claudette to turn into a fish but I can dream 😂

I'm not saying all survivors are alive, as we know some of them to be dead in their respective franchises (Namely Bill and Tapp), but some of them, in particular, Quentin, Kate, Ash, Nancy and Steve were described being taken while very much alive, Kate was even physically grabbed by the Entity instead of entering an unnatural fog like a lot of others.

I love Claudette's clothes and contrary to what some other people say, I think her face looks fine. But my god is her default hair atrocious. It's not even the style, I think the dreadlocks in the ponytail is cute, but the complete lack of movement is just... ugh. If a default hair Claudette gets moried by the Huntress she literally looks like she's has a beard!

I would much rather an original killer, since we've had three licensed chapters in a row. Like a lot of other players I would love a werewolf killer, although I don't know what their power would be. I also think a mermaid/siren killer would be cool.

My main survivor is Claudette, because she's quite anti-social according to her lore and it reminded me of myself.
As for killer, atm I'd say ghostface, I love Scream and his play style is really fun to me, plus it's always fun to tbag back to cocky survivors!

Yeah, console usually gets the short end of the stick anyways. Its mainly cause DBD came out on PC first, and most things that were exclusive like codes, skins, etc were pioneered on PC.
Yeah, I wanted the Rochelle outfit for Claudette too but I gave up on that because I knew they weren't coming to console ever. And every response to threads regarding Bill's DLC coming to consoles is just inconsiderate people saying "oh just by a state of the art PC!" Like yeah I would if I could afford it, but some just don't have the money for such things.

Not that I know of, these codes are to my knowledge PC exclusive like how Bill is exclusive to PC because of Valves contract with BHVR.
