I'm arachnophobic but weirdly I seem to fluctuate between "Ew spider" to "OH MY GOD GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!!" on a day by day basis, in other words, some days I can be in the same room as a spider as long as it keeps it's distance, on another day just a picture of a spider is enough to almost give me a panic attack. I think I might be entomophobic(Fear of bugs, I may have spelt it wrong) but I'm not sure as only certain bugs get a reaction out of me, maggots freak me out but I'm fine around caterpillars for example.

I really enjoy watching John Wolfe (he streams DBD but he plays alot of other games so I'm not gonna count him), Ink Ribbon and The Sphere Hunter, I like John's sense of humor, I find Ink Ribbon's 50 facts and 10 Easter eggs series interesting and the Sphere Hunter's Resident Evil retrospective videos are the reason I decided to try some of the classic RE games.

When I was really young my dad still had his old PlayStation and let me try playing on it one day. I can't remember what games he already had but he bought me a copy of "The Little Mermaid" off eBay after he saw how much I enjoyed playing them and to this day that's the first game I remember playing.

I consider my self a Yui main, I like the biker chick look of most of her cosmetics, my favourite character in the Resident Evil franchise (And second favourite video game character overall) is Claire Redfield, and I feel like I'm one of the few people who liked her new outfit in the Resi 2 remake. Most of Yui's outfits remind me of Claire and I think that's why she's my favourite survivor.
Although if they ever add Claire as a Survivor or a Legendary skin you best believe that she'll be my new main, questionable Legendary value be damned!

I really like these skins, I love mythology and it's really cool seeing two of my biggest interests collide like this! I'm definitely buying the Yui, Min and Spirit skins.

I have pretty severe Arachnophobia, weirdly it seems to fluctuate in severity now and then. One day I can be in the same room as one as long as it keeps it's distance from me and another day all it takes is for me to see one on the outside of my bedroom window for me to almost have a panic attack. I played the Resident Evil remake for the first time recently not knowing there were spiders in it and almost started crying when I encountered the giant spider boss.

This would be the perfect opportunity for another 2 survivor chapter, Mr. X or Nemesis as killer with Leon and Claire or Chris and Jill as survivors. And with the recently announced legendary skins, we could have skins for Leon and Claire that turn them into Chris and Jill, or the other way around.

I didn’t notice this before as I’m only interested in unlocking Kate, Huntress and the Legion’s lore, but this does seem pretty shady.

Sanity : Survivors will start hallucinating other Survivors as The Killer. The other Survivor would emit a terror radius and a red stain similar to of a killer. If another survivor touch this hallucination of the other survivor, Sanity will drain more and a scream will occur , revealing their location. No evidence will be shown if the survivor is the hallucination or not.
Damn, now I really want an alternate reality version of Kate as a killer.

No, because it looks like something from a cartoon and is just the current Slenderman, give it a couple months maybe a year and I guarantee we'll never hear of it again.

I still think Jane’s is the worst, but I agree that Kate’s is pretty disappointing. I hope when they eventually get to Yui that her story lives up to my expectations seeing as all my main survivor’s archives have been pretty disappointing (apart from Claudette’s)

Am I the only one who doesn't find Siren Head even remotely scary? The concept is interesting but at the end of the day it's a giant stick figure with a warning siren taped to it's face.

I agree with TheRockstarKnight. As a (Kind of) Legion main I'd love this as an option but they would look super weird without facial animations, especially Susie. Also Susie and Julie should probably be given bangs so they don't look like they're balding.

I for one enjoy the idea of Julie being much more violent than we originally thought. Almost every female killer in the game so far was either the victim in their respective story only to eventually exact revenge, or were involved in some kind of tragic event. The only female killer we have who is as malicious as a large portion of the male killers is Amanda and even than she may have some kind of traumatic reason behind her actions.(I wouldn't know as I haven't watched any of the Saw movies)

I played Huntress for like two matches when I first started playing dbd and quickly decided never to play her again, but when Tome 3 was announced I decided to try playing her for the first time in over a year, it actually has been alot better than I expected. It's amazing how much of a difference increased sensitivity and a glob of blu-tac in the middle of my screen makes. In fact, I think I might have found my new main!

Not necessarily, it’s possible it might just be from Julie’s perspective, we may still learn a lot about the other members.

There's a "Nendoroid" figure of the Trapper. I think they normally go for about $40 to $50. They only have one of the Trapper so far but there's always the possibility of them making more.

- Frank - An orphan (presumably) who was passed from foster home to foster home before meeting Julie, the leader of the Legion, overprotective of his friends, and enjoys heavy metal music (based on his mixtape).
- Susie - Shy and naïve, Julie's best friend, has been described as weird by the devs, seems to dislike seeing others happy (Cozy Holidays), wants to fit in with the others (New year Shoplifter), sophomore (both basic skins are called Sophomore Jitters), wanted nothing to do with the janitor's murder, and enjoys what I believe to be hip hop (based on her mixtape).
- Joey - Show off, has a car, was fired from his job, son to a single mother (Season's Killings), first to stab the janitor after Frank ordered them, seems to enjoy "chill" music (based on his mixtape), and seems knowledgeable about how to knife fight (my guess from his personalized karambit that you can not disarm easily).
Julie, however, is a bit more mysterious. We know she wanted a life out of Ormond, so she started hanging with Frank. She must be rich because of the parties she throws... and that's about it. She listens to dark and depressing music and she's a senior (Fairview Senior), but she has nothing else to develop her character. She's gotten one cosmetic since their release and it is so clearly non-canonical. Her character development stops shortly after her introduction.
What I'm hoping this will be is her first meeting with Frank. Susie and Joey were already her friends (I mean, they were at her parties), but Frank is an outsider to Ormond.
That’s exactly what I thought too. Wasn’t it also said that Julie was preppy and got pretty good grades somewhere too?(I’ve heard this somewhere before but I’m not sure where and I’m too lazy to fact check) So it could also be her “fall from grace”, so to speak.

I agree we don’t know much about Joey, but we at least a tiny bit about his home life. I mainly want it to be Julie as I think she seems pretty important to the group being the main reason Frank stopped trying to get into another foster family.
And yeah, they’re probably all going to have important roles but I’m hoping at the very least Julie, Susie and Joey get more attention than Frank, seeing as they’re backstory is mostly about him.

“The Hunger”: I was pretty indifferent to this one at first, mostly because I wasn’t caught up on the Hallowed Blight lore at the time so I didn’t really have much idea what was going on. Since reading about it more thought it has grown on me. I found it particularly interesting that we now have a somewhat detailed description of the void.
“Claudette’s Eighth Birthday” is my personal favourite, partially from bias as a Claudette main and partially because I related to it on a personal level. I am on the autism spectrum(Aspergers specifically) and in school my breakdowns and anxiety attacks were often mislabeled as excuses to get out of doing work, or simply me being stupid, similarly to how Claudette was believed to simply “have her head in the clouds”. It’s also nice to be represented by a much more empathetic person on the spectrum, as it pains me a lot that self-centered characters like Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory have become the pop-culture poster child of autism. I will admit that the story is somewhat predictable and repetitive, but the positives far outweigh the negatives in my opinion.
“Blood, Brass and Grit” was also pretty great. I don’t have as much to say about this one, but I like how they made Evan a sympathetic character without making him seem like too much of a helpless victim. His father definitely had a hand in shaping him, but it seems like Evan at least had a sadistic streak regardless.
I didn’t really read “The Entity” so I can’t say much on it.
”All The World A Stage” was just disappointing. I was excited for this one the most when I found out Jane was in Tome II. I was hoping we would get more information about Jane’s mother, or her abandonment issues, or something like that. Instead I spent weeks suffering through the open the hatch with a key challenge for forced SJW garbage.
I haven’t really read “Manchester Mash-Up” or “Ascendance” yet so I don’t have much to say on those two.
”Steeped In Blood” is probably my second favourite, seeing as Spirit is my favourite killer. I like we get to see much more of Rin before she became a killer, seeing as her original lore didn’t give her much characterization beyond “university student with part time job”. I don’t know much about Japanese so I didn’t really know the pronunciation was wrong, but I usually read the archives with the narration turned off anyway. I also never really looked at the bullies as “too misogynistic” as I never saw their torment of Rin as being motivated by her gender, more so as that she doesn’t live up to her family legacy. And when a bully is beaten by the person they’ve been bullying, they probably won’t take it lying down.
Overall I think the Archives have been a pretty good addition so far, if not for a few misfires such as Jane’s social justice extravaganza, sub-par writing and voice acting (in my opinion) and some poorly designed challenges (the key escape and unhook in endgame collapse challenges in particular made me want to die). I think at this point there’s nowhere to go but up and I am quite excited to see what Tome III brings.

That leaves us with the only original character who is not american, which is Claudette.She is said to be canadian who was once raised in Montreal, but she left the big city when she got an early scholarships for a great college.But she was still in Canada.
Some people also say that the MacMillan estate is located near Seattle which is a city in the United States.
So how was Claudette near the estate when she was in another country not relevant to the estate?
The location of Claudette’s college is never actually mentioned in the lore as far as I know, it’s possible that the college she attends is near the MacMillan estate.

I know I already posted in this thread, but I’ve come up with some other random head canons in my spare time.
- Upon her arrival in the fog, Yui knew very little English, and was barely able to communicate with her fellow survivors. Adam often has to translate for her, but teaches her some basic English phrases between trials, enough for the most necessary communication.
- Yui is a lesbian and only came out after her father had kicked her out, as she feared he would react negatively. She has harbored several secret crushes on female classmates in school.
- Loretta Lawrence(Jane’s “mother”), was actually Jane’s father’s second wife. Jane is actually the child of him and his first wife. They divorced during the pregnancy and he remarried very soon after. After he and Loretta divorced he didn’t like bringing either marriage up, never telling Jane much about either, leading to her confusion. (Thanks to VolantConch1719 for the idea for this one)

That’s also interesting, I suppose when Loretta left Jane and her father she might not have been expecting that anyone would find out, but she panicked when Jane began finding her own fame and made it public with the book she published, maybe that’s even why Loretta agreed to go on the show, to try and stop Jane from spreading this information further.

I’m assuming that’s their goal, seeing as they upped the characters per tome from 2 to 4. Time will tell wether or not they are successful with that goal. I hope they at least get to Legion and Yui,

This actually makes a lot of sense, and it’s a lot more fun than BHVR just being inconsistent with lore again. Another thing to note: Mick is a derogatory term for an Irish person, and Caleb’s lore is implied to take place at a time and place of intense discrimination against the Irish.

I’d sell my soul for a Claudette Funko or Nendoroid. Since the first Nendoroid was Trappy boi I’m hoping they’ll announce one of Claudette seeing as they were first two characters featured in the Archives, they would make a good pair.

Depends on how it’s used.
If I get DS stunned by someone who I actually tunneled, accidental or not, then yeah the perk is fine.
If I get DS stunned by someone making a stupid play that they deserve to be punished for, yet get away with it with no consequences for their misplay, than yeah I get pretty mad.
I also think the stun duration should be reduced back to three seconds, the only reason it was buffed to five in the first place was because of Enduring, now that it no longer affects DS the duration should be decreased, in my opinion at least.

Halloween 2018 Laurie & Myers have been on my wish list for a while now. I also thought that a yellow raincoat for Feng & a white, Noh-style mask for Spirit would be cool as references to Little Nightmares seeing as dlc characters from the game probably wouldn’t fit dbd’s aesthetic.
