Limited number of stalk and you lose your power whenever you down someone?
You do realise that myers as a limited number of stalk because one t3 is enought to down every single survivor right?
Tbh I said all of this so people wouldn't scream at me YET AGAIN for being a biased 10 IQ killer.

As Seltas said, it really looks like you just want to make him a Myers
Exactly, he's just fine being like Myers, the way he is now is too weak.

The only things needed to change about ghostface is being revealed through walls or whenever a survivor loses sight of him. Most of your points are basically a nerf to him. Other than my first point he's more balanced than a lot of people actually realise
Being broken out of your power by survivors staring at you, waiting 30s and having the same happen again is pure weakness, removing this isn't a nerf at all. I've mentioned everything else because if he could stalk you in 2s while leaning and you couldn't do anything about it it'd be unbalanced.

People need to realize that PS4 and PC are 2 different games when it comes to DBD. I hardly ever see killers RQ on PC, meanwhile people constantly cyber bully RQ-ing killers on several PS4 facebook groups.

Or they could just be a group of friends wanting to have fun against a random player and try to survive?
The problem is you never know. You can have a group like Zet0r's swf group which is the chillest group ever, and you can have a group like Marth88's depip squad which rushes gens asap and gets out. It's a double edge sword and a reason why discussing swf is painful af. Everyone who says swf isn't broken will say "oh but most swf groups are chill" which is absolutely invalid when taking high rank games into consideration. Most high rank swf teams are impossible to do well against.

In case you haven't noticed, people care more about the Steve outfit than anything else in the chapter.

If they take God lops away they are making survivors less wanna play cuz without God loops the game last less and there aren't that many
If brainlessly running around a safe loop is what makes people wanna quit the game, then they should take a knock on the head and remember that this is supposed to be a survival horror game, not a bully simulator.

Yeah can't wait to be forced to not chase survivors because they jumped into a locker with DS

By not getting yourself in a situation where all gens are on 1 part of the map

Sounds like some survivors really hurt your poor soul. Itll be ok piggy we know survivors are bullies
Don't speak to me like I'm some child. I don't get bullied because I know how to play killer, of course, unless they're 4 optimal survs with instaheals and keys.

But survivors working on portals activate Killer Instinct and Oblivious. It’s going to be quite risky for survivors to close portals, as Demogorgon will know and can potentially sneak up on them if there are enough LoS blockers
So you gain a free tinkerer when they start closing the portal?
-
Okay so, when I call the killer and his perks weak, I get trolling and all the hate in the world, but people are openly saying the same thing here?
-
@Mochan said:
The killer looks strong frankly, teleportation is big. The perks are actually good, Surge is really good it is an improved version of Pop Goes the Weasel.
All the three perks are strong. Cruel confinement is a detection perk that traps the survivor. It will especially be nasty in Haddonfield.
Mindbreaker screws over all the exhaustion perks people use.
They are all good.
His teleportation seems inconsistent considering survivors can destroy the portals and that he can't see while going through a tunnel. Surge only works in 32m, meaning it won't stop people from rushing gens away from you. Cruel confinement is bad in general since it requires you to get genrushed. Mindbreaker buffs sprint burst so you get it 3s into a chase instead of immediately.
-
Come back when you have something to contribute a conversation, something that isn't obvious trolling.

What's wrong with strong survivor perks?
Strong ones? No problem. But inner strength is beyond strong, it puts the killer in a situation where they either have to take a DS or take an instaheal. And please don't respond with "dOn'T tUnNeL".

nice b8 m8 but for real that lunge is sick! i can see many loops were it will be a free hit if properly used like the L pallet wall thats common on every outdoor map. if a survivor goes the long way (right) than your going to hit them. it will also be good whenever a survivor gets chased into a straight path like the side of houses on haddonfield.
Devs said it themselves the lunge will only be in a straight line, it won't be fully controlable like pig's ambush

@RakimSockem said:
I'm glad there wasn't a single person who agreed with this trash thread. Out of the 9 new perks, only 1 or two of them are semi-weak. And the new killer is fine, but maybe wait until you can play them before complaining? k thanks
Okay sure no problem, I'll wait for his ptb release....then his nerfs....then his nerfs

Some people think viable means the killer has to be able to 4k at 5gens I guess. From what I've seen the Demogorgon will have a unique lunge ability combined with high mobility via portals and some tracking via its portals as well. Definitely strong on paper.
Viable means being able to face optimal 4 man swf groups decked out with instaheals, keys, ds and adrenaline and actually standing a chance, which is why Nurse and Spirit are dubbed as viable.
-
1 of them is a sad excuse for a plasterfix for genrush, 1 of them buffs sprint burst and one of them only activates when gens are done, which says enough.

Except he doesn’t have to crouch and slow down first
She has to crouch for barely any time with combat straps and her dash lasts longer which allows for more mindgames.

@justarandy said:
OP survivor perks? ooof nearly had a great laugh but it's actually sad in case you are serious.
2 auto-heal perks, 1 of which completely trumps the killer in combination with ds. Yeah, balanced.

You'd be surprised at how many killer mains or survivor mains cry when the opposing side gets anything remotely useful. It's what you learn to expect when you play DBD.
A bunch of crybabies who want easy matches.
Useful? Imagine inner strength + ds. The killer has to lose a kill no matter what. Can't pick you up bc of ds, can't leave you there because you'll both get a heal and ds left.

It's just pig's dash but worse since he's taller than a crouching pig and has a red stain during the lunge

Its in a very bad state, shown by the lack of player growth and stale meta perks.
For a long time now there has been a slow decline in viable survivor perks and now killer mains push for adrenaline to get nerfed as well now that Mettle of Man got made unusable.
Killer perks on the other hand are mostly as strong as they always been, u usually stick with the 2-3 same perks and have 1 rando if u wana spice things up.
But devs are absolutely catering to killers this year and it shows.
^Ignorance in it's simplest form. Blame the devs for being unable to create a good survivor perk without making it broken, not the killers who advocate for a fair and balanced game.
-
Unfortunately Legion will never be changed, they'd rather have them be another useless, loopable m1 killer than put thought into reworking them properly.
-
They should remove add-ons that allow you to keep the key if you use it/die and they should make the hatch close after 1 person jumps in with the key.

@TerminatorGuy said:
If they add a killer who can do that it's gotta be the "little pig' dude from Outlast 1, Chris Walker. Someone above mentioned him. He's gotta come in eventually, Chris and Outlast are just too iconic.
Doubt red barrels will give them the license tbh
-
It's a very easy killer type to make, last year devs already have the giant, so it seems pretty simple.

Probably a split of some percentage or another. I'd advertise against buying the Pig cosmetics due to the price inflation.
Oh don't worry, I'm done buying any BHVR product from this point onward unless it's a viable killer like spirit or nurse.

@Aven_Fallen said:
The reason for MoM to be that strong was to actually have a reason to buy a Survivor Only-DLC.
If you are not a fan of Ash/Bruce Campbell or are not that type of person who collects every character, you have 0 intention to buy this DLC. It is just a Skin, after all, and as long as you dont like it, you are better off when you play your regular Main Character, because there you will have the Perks unlocked you want to have.
So there needed to be a reason for people to buy it, who are not just liking the Skin, Ash/Bruce or are a collector. And thats done with a powerful Perk.
(and tbh, a new Meta-Perk for Survivors is something that should really be implemented without being that strong like MoM. The last DLCs brought only Killer Perks into the game which are useful, Survivor Perks are more funny and highly situational than useful)
@Jago said:
Making people buy Ash for Mom, then nerfing it 2 weeks after was an even more disapointing move for survivors.
Actually this makes 110% more sense.
-
Can we please not do that? Honestly double bp is a very lazy way to dodge making an actual event.

As opposed to walking around and occasionally clicking a mouse button.
Real hardcore.
You've just described rank 20 killer experience aka walk in the park. Try playing killer at rank 1 without using any top tier mindgames.

What keeps me coming back is the potato survivors that allow me to have fun as non-nurse/spirit killers.

I'm a switch so i play both sides, if someone is going to play a stealth killer but spend 4 generators chasing me around am i the unskilled one or are they? I've had to learn to counter looping just like any other killer main who's decent at the game.
Looping can't be directly countered if the survivor is optimal, end of story. Also stealth killers get looped like any other, which is why the most viable killers are the loudest ones.
-
Old opinions:
- I should try my hardest not to camp or tunnel because it's unfun for survivors
- Self care is mandatory
- Surviving is my main objective
- I should just stick to gens and let others save
- Doctor is a viable killer
- NOED is a good perk
- Flashlights are a problem
- If I don't run urban all the time, I'm gonna face only hags and trappers whom I hate.
-

You're not making a suggestion you're spitting your dummy out. Learn to counter looping, learn to patrol gens, instead of saying you're going to to just quit a game because someone is better then you.
Wow yeah I was SO outskilled by that guy who ran circles and held m1. What an amazing display of skill. But I think I'm done arguing with you simply because of the whole survivor biased argument of "lulmeu just patrol gens".
-
I wouldn't feel down as a killer for losing if it was a legit loss, and not some stupidity like key escapes, escapes due to adrenawin, ds and instaheals etc. Same for survivor, I wouldn't mind losing if I lost legitimately and not because my teammates have no brain.

If you're not satisfied with how the game works, stop playing.
It does not give you care blanche to rage quit.
Do you tell that to anyone who suggests any change to this survivor biased game? If that's the case, this game would die if everyone listened to you. You pretend like the issues I stated aren't making the game unbearable for killers.
-
@martin27 said:

Then you'll get banned.
Maybe when dedicated servers kick in, until then I'm safe lol. Besides how can they punish people for ragequitting without doing something about what makes people ragequit?Maybe, oh, idk, give survivors a secondary objective so gens don't get done in 4 minutes, so that killers don't feel the need to immediately remove a survivor from the game to have any sort of fun? That way you'll reduce the amount of tunneling.
-
I personally am gonna start ragequitting more and more when I get 4-5 minute games. I refuse to give survivors a victory for doing hardly anything but holding m1 and running in circles.
-
@brokedownpalace said:
Honestly it's like some of you people legitimately WANT killer nerfs just so you can continue your charade of being victimized by the devs.
Um no? I want viable killers, continuing drama is the last thing I need in my life, but I have no choice because the devs keep appealing to whiny 10 IQ survivor mains. Also us killers are victimized by the devs, for every 1 nice thing killers get, survivors get 2-3 more.
-
@Remi1993 said:
Here we go, survivors always cry, survivors always want easy win and bully killers...
Hey survivors, you dont talk about this?
Dude, like, read what I wrote.
-
As much as I agree with you from the bottom of my heart and mind, we need to stop living in this illusion where every killer is pushed to the point of viability. It's never going to happen, the devs themselves don't want it to happen, the survivor mains don't want it to happen (and the devs have already proven they listen to survivors first, killers second). The best we'll get is killers going from low tier to mid tier, and even that is too much to expect from these donkey devs.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
I hope these aren't the people devs listen to.
Everybody knows it is too early to even remotely have any feedback/criticism if at all.
Maybe you guys losing "hope" should play another game. These threads are literally pointless.
I'm losing hope for a damn good reason. He has a 20s cooldown map pressure that is fully visible, and can only be done on unrepaired gens that aren't blocked by entity. He has a discount combo of hag traps and clown bottles that contributes to literally nothing while in a chase. "B-but fake pallets" which do nothing against survivors who remember which pallets are broken. In addition to this, aura reading and action speed reduction is removed, so no point in breaking out of dream world.

@Skittlesthehusky said:
adding in-game comms would make killers suffer horrendously. toxicity would be poured into every single game, and strength with survivors would be way too much compared to having a mixture between a solo and a swf vs a killer.
this game was originally based around randoms against a single killer, hence why swf is even strong in the first place.
and personally, i believe that if we were to really try and have the game balanced around swf, swf would have to have some limitations in order to make it all equal.
I said it should be an option, not a must-have-enabled thing.
