@MegaWaffle What is that last picture of?
Sorry for the late reply, it is a "Blob fish". They only take on that overly grotesque appearance when taken from the water or brought closer to the surface. Since they live very deep where the pressure is intense their bodies are basically jelly that is held in shape by the pressure. Once removed from these conditions they sort of "melt" or turn into a puddle of sorts as the pressure is no longer present to hold their jelly bodies together.

Then why has the report description never been updated? I find it extremely unlikely that the majority of players read the forums, therefore there are most likely many reports about rage quitting. Why has no one ever bothered to update the description?
While I understand that disconnects do not need to be reported I cannot argue with what @Madjura is saying. Loads of people do not use the forums and thus would not know that the button that is still in the game (listed in the "report" section) should not be used.
It really should be removed from the options.

Cause the male survivors we have right now are not even cute. Dwight is an ugly nerd. Jake looks like an homeless man. David is meh,he is only ok with the beard.

You're not forced to use Ruin, there are other perks to slow down gens. Pop Goes The Weasle for example is an amazing perk for that.
Honestly I think people who always use Ruin and complaint about it are just lazy.
Yes and no (my opinion).
Yes I agree Ruin is not the only perk that can work to slow the game down (PGTW since its buff to 60s is a lot better now), Thana can work on a few killers with the proper build too. I don't have enough personal experience to determine if tremors is really any good.
No because there is a great inconsistency with these perks and in general once you have advanced into the territory of experienced players (not even "top" players) these perks greatly lose effect.

Wasn't there a new update that came out not too long ago? Maybe that's why
Creepers has got my heart racing too many times. They have sneaked up on me more than Myers have.
Played years ago when I was younger (was actually a Beta supporter) but haven't tried it in ages (I'm now old). My friend has a VR system and his kids have Minecraft for it. 1: VR Minecraft was a blast. 2: VR Creepers are a danger to anything valuable in the house that can be damaged from a thrown VR headset!

Only last week i electrocuted myself, my hands were wet after washing the pots (dishes) and i went to pull the plug from the hoover out the socket, not turning it off and BAM shock.
(Insert not forum friendly comment here about being the "Hoover Girl")
There now your imagination can do the dirty work for me.

I use the word "semi" because everyone has to make an occasional comment every now and then.

I think Myers is the only really quiet Killer. Everyone else either has really loud breathing, a lullaby in Huntress's case, or goes "BOOM BOOM BOOM" whenever they walk.
Or the "slap slap slap" of poor little Wraiths feet.

For me, playing as: Killer: Rage quitters who can't take an L Survivor: Face campers (are you really that bad so that you need to literally stand still?) Edit:

Yes but the Nurses you do see are often true legends.
-
I've really gotten into this game these past two seasons. I main killer and have lately been climbing higher in the ranks than i want.
Here.
-
Survivors can use any perk are are simply re-coded husks for visual appearance. They are all the same.
-
Survivor: It's gotta be Ace Visconti. Why? Because he's Ace Visconti. Nuff said. Killer: For me, it's The Nurse. Why? She gives me motion sickness.
Clearly you have never seen the beauty of the Leopard Print Shirt Ace!
True beauty matched with perfect stealth.
Killers fear him.
Claudettes envy him.
He is the worlds most interesting man.

At this point in time, whether or not survivors get less BP is irrelevant. The perception that they do is starting to cause major problems for the game, so I support buffs to survivor point gain.
I honestly don't care if they decide to give more BP (as it will help the grind for everyone all around) but considering the original intent behind the BP increase for killers was due to item/add-on economy (killers only have the bloodweb to replenish supply) I'm wondering what they are going to do to address this problem.

That better not be Feng on that hook!

On PS4 I get survivors who message me while waiting in the lobby so it's not just killers who are able to see profiles. At least on PS4.
Yeah all you have to do is go to friends list, look at your "in game" session and the name that doesn't belong to the other survivors in your lobby is the killer.
-
If you're a killer who dodges lobbies because a prestige 1 Nea joins it, I'm going to make this very clear.
Prestige doesn't = skill but it does = game time and thus an expected level of understanding and experience (is this reason to dodge, that is up to the individual to decide).
Bright clothing = experience or simply something someone bought because they prefer the looks. Therefore bright clothing has a far larger margin of inconsistency in relation to experience/skill.
You can't reliably judge skill based on anything the person is wearing but Prestige would indicated a higher time consumption for BP farming meaning more game experience on average.

This doesn't quite make sense. The number of players per side has no impact on your personal scoring. The goal behind the changes is to level out the average bloodpoint earnings between the two sides (on average, killers earn more bloodpoints per match right now). Increasing killer bloodpoints as well would only exacerbate the gap.
This has the added benefit of helping with queue times. Rather than having everyone flock to playing killer during a bloodhunt, you could play whichever side you're comfortable with and end up getting more or less the same amount of points. This means faster and more consistent queue times for everyone, which means more matches, which means more points. It's a win win.
Considering the original intent behind giving killers (on average) more BP was to help with the constant upkeep of spent BP for add-ons vs survivors who can get free items/add-ons in match, what changes to killer economy will we see?

Gen rushing is the objective for survivors.
Barbecue rewards killers for doing their objective.
Pls don't be cringe, thanks.
Generators are the main objective to reach the survivor goal of escaping (although with no gen hatch being a thing I guess survivors can literally do nothing if they wish). For this reason I won't complain about "gen rushing" (even though I still think gens can be completed way to quickly).
Getting hooks is the killers main objective to reach their goal of killing everyone. For this reason I don't consider "tunneling" a thing (even though it can easily ruin the fun of the lobby) as just like "gen rushing" it is the quickest way to achieve your goal.
BBQ gives incentive for killers to not tunnel and instead prolong their goal of killing everyone by chasing different people.
If survivors were rewarded in the same way as BBQ for doing gens then you would be incentivised to rush your objective to complete your goal. Imagine if BBQ rewarded tunneling, that wouldn't be fun.

Dying light is a great perk because people always DC once down. For this reason you can proc the perk instantly. I actually stopped running the perk on my Pig because it was becoming sad to watch everyone just give up once that one person DCed.

As @BadMrFrosty stated, they very likely do care, but they balance in ways they prefer, which seems to be around the low half of the ranks (20-10) and have stated they look more at what's fun.
The main issue, I feel, is that Dead by Daylight is an obvious casual game with only a ranked mode. It therefore suffers an identity crisis between the developers and some of the player base. If they want to balance around less skilled players and for fun, then drop the ranked system and just use a hidden MMR system.
Right now, with only a Ranked mode, they made the game appear competitive but balance otherwise. Just drop the appearance of competitive.
I've been saying this for a couple of years...its the lack of identity in this "balance" category that is one of the core problem with the community being so divisive.

We have broken the never happening barrier today with getting Bill on console. Lets keep it going and get every piece of content in the console versions please.
I get you want Legacy because its "cool" (debatable) but just because we got Bill doesn't mean we should start screaming for more, that is called being ungrateful.

Hex ruin RUINS the game it doesnt matter how GOOD you are only killer mains says that and TBH its annoying because you spend 15-20 mins looking for the totem half of team has been on hook by then and only when you find it does the game actually start but its too late and takes the fun out the game because i think it needs a rework should not be able to activate until 3-4 gens have been fixed and then the totem for it should pop up small game even at tier 3 isnt that good so why is hex ruin OP im a level 5 survivor and i can say hex ruin is used 4 out of 5 games with killers like ghost face myers and even freddy DEVS please review this perk as it is too OP.
1: it doesn't look good for your credibility to be taken seriously when you clump everyone who disagrees with you as "killer main" simply because you don't like their answer.
2: Ruin is very weak once you are able to ignore it and just do the skill checks. I've had plenty of games where we did 3-5 gens before Ruin was even found. My guess is you are still either new to the game yourself or are playing in lower ranks with teammates who do not have the experience.
Practice vs complain. Ruin isn't getting changed so rather than wasting time and energy screaming at the internet focus that time instead on getting better at A: Learning totem spawn locations B: Hitting skill checks C: Being scummy and gen tapping. You have so many options to deal with Ruin that don't involve using a counter perk.

She has never been the worst killer in the game. She is only the worst killer in the hands of a noob who tries to learn how to play her.
They bugged her where after a hit she would wipe her weapon and then do the fatigue animation, it was something like 7-8 seconds of inaction. Yes she was one of the worst killers for a small period of time. This was quite some time ago.
-
Personally I just tab out and watch youtube or read something on my phone. Thought it would be interesting to see what people do.
While waiting for a lobby I typically play my other favorite game.
-
(I previously posted this in the survivor's forum but thought it would fit better here) Hex ruin ruins the game.
You can easily work through Ruin, just practice the skillchecks. This Hex has perks that counter it therefore if you don't want to play to counter Ruin you cannot complain. Heck even if you don't want to run a counter perk you can still just work through it as I first said. Inexperience/lack of skillcheck skill is what makes Ruin seem like a powerful perk. Get some practice in and you will see how weak it really is.

No I'm PS4, and yes its still Nurse. Once you down someone on console with Nurse the confidence of survivors drops to 0% in a heartbeat.

You Get a Chance to add 1 NON-HUMAN Killer Into The Game. Who/What is it? There are no restrictions other than he/she/it MUST NOT be human.

Like this, but add action speed, but only as the last survivor.
Yes, maybe I should have clarified but I figured it would still keep the perks "Last alive" mechanics.

The ones that purposely steer the game toward a three gen strat are the most annoying. I don't like hour long matches.
I had a match on Lerys (random map) when I was playing my Sniper Doc build. I did not do this intentionally but by the end of the game I was able to stand in one room and hit all three gens while standing still. It was broken (but also very rare). I ended up just having fun and we farmed.

Left Behind
Extends the duration of the EGT by X amount. You leave no scratch marks for X seconds whenever you leave the exit gate box (not sure what its called officially. For clarity what I mean is that so long as you interact with the box you will trigger this effect once you leave the interaction).
Can help you "tap" the gates and run off without leaving a big trail. This way you get a bit more time on the EGT so you can play it safer with the gate.
-
The only reason I absolutely hate when a killer runs this perk is the simple fact that I’m the only one trying to get Gens done while the other 3 are all looking for it, can’t find it, and end up getting killed in the process.
So its not Ruin that you despise but rather bad teammates.
-
We don't need a barebones mode or whatever. What we need is a mode where survivors are locked to first person just like killers.
While I would love the fear it would put back into the game I must also add....
80 seconds of the most intense gear turning I have ever seen!
I can hear a heartbeat nearby but this damn gear is of such high resolution!

Terms of Service/User Agreements are usually ignored in video games because it's to protect the company, and not the players. Although I understand the legalities behind BHVR TOS; your sarcasm is still unwarranted.
I fail to see where I wrote sarcasm.
I read all my contracts before signing them. It is basic common sense.

@MegaWaffle no one reads the term of service.
this is my time to shine. this is my time to vouch for this guy.
I read the Terms and Services before AND after the changes.
I also read any contract I am agreeing to in full before signing anything, it is just common sense. People not having common sense won't hold up as valid argument in a court of law should you ever find yourself there over a contract dispute.

Spine chill notifies you of when the killer is looking in your direction. This will give you a chance to see when you are getting stalked.
I agree Spine Chill is good. It is good against any killer that can hide their TR or uses some sort of stealth mechanic.
Spine Chill really took off when The Pig was introduced into the game and basically nullified her dash attack. While I feel Derpface isn't as negatively affected by this perk (due to Derpface trying to stalk rather than get close) it does reduce his effectiveness quit a bit.
I have yet to play him myself so this is based simply off the footage I have seen and the few games I watched my friend play.

@GrootDude said:
Base nurse is balanced (PS4 player), if you’re good with her then you won’t need ruin. (Unless your survivors can juke a nurse.)
Depends on a number of factors.
Are the survivors coordinated?
Is the Nurse player good with blinks?
Is the map very large?
I honestly don't think ruin is necessary under some circumstances but is nearly mandatory under others. It (in my opinion) will remain a staple/meta perk for a long time.

SWF doesn't promote any of that. That's down to specific people. 90% of SWF players are just normal skilled survivors chatting with their friends while they play. In fact - you'd be surprised how often when I play survivor and we win, the killer says "nice SWF" before leaving post game chat - when we're solos.
While I rarely get after game messages (PS4) the very few times I play with my friend we typically talk about other games, life or something unrelated to DBD. Sure SWF (even the ones who are not playing "ultra-instinct") do get a ton of information for free and it does make the game easier, but most don't care for being toxic.
As a solo player 99% of the time (prefer playing killer) I rarely find SWF groups leave me hanging either. If I know one SWF member is on a hook and I'm on a hook I can accept that its more than likely they will save their friend first, but even then an attempt is almost always made to get me.
