I experienced the same thing last night; multiple times. What I don't understand is why hooks are even spawning in 2v8. Killers do not hook, and the cages spawn within, on, behind, under, and on tops of hooks making them Inaccessible.

5 seconds was the only thing saving this perk, and for those who think BHVR will make changes before it's live; they won't. This is the "live" version.

Unplayable with so many killers cuz they bump into anything or there's just no way to use their power around loops. It's a beautiful map. Gameplaywise it's the worst map in the game because of how narrow and windy it is.
Agreed. I hope that they really look into it, and think about changing some of the level design. More-so for DBD and not a linear game like Resident Evil.

Just like many others who have used the perk before and after the changes, I agree that Decisive Strike is weak. It wasn't balanced; but nerf'd. Interesting enough they "changed" the only so called "anti-tunneling" perk but still haven't addressed or a solution to tunneling. Their answer is that tunneling is a strategy; which I'm ok with if you have a direct counter to it.
My suggestions would be:
- Only deactivate upon doing objectives. (Generators, Totems, Sabotage & Unhooks)
- Remain active if self-caring, and/or healing. (Reason why: you have Killers like Leatherface, Myers, Ghostface, who can still one hit down you after you've healed up all within 60sec) Your DS remaining active will negate this.
- Remove scratch marks, blood, grunts & pains for 5sec once activated. (Meaning: while the killer is stunned for 5sec, this allows you 5sec to get away.)
That will truly allow the perk to be anti-tunneling, and yet balanced as well. I also believe that activating once a trial is more than enough with these changes. Especially if all four survivors are running this perk.
I play both Killer and Survivor equally, and I don't tunnel; even when I'm taunted by players. Just because "it's a strategy" doesn't make it fun. When I play survivor it's not fun having a killer tunnel me out the gamel.

The need to make more bloody cosmetics in general. But yes, that's a good QoL change necessary.

Well I did clip the video, and have footage of both the invisible skill checks and the unreachable totem. I'm going to upload it and share it soon.

If you bought the entire Ash chapter just for the perk then that's kind of on you.
Granted I've bought things just for one specific item before hell I'm one of the people who bought the previous blizzcon to get the get the Demon Hunter sombra skin.
However it would be completely foolish of me to kick up a massive first if anything were to happen with that skin for example it being given away in a different method or the colours been changed slightly.
Hell the same thing could be said for the people who brought Michael especially considered what happened with Save The Best For Last and I'm talking original Save The Best For Last.
Any game where perks powers and addons get rebalanced so they aren't as overpowered, abusable, weak or useless you should always expect something to change.
if you're going to a purchase a DLC for one specific perk with the full knowledge of how unbalanced it was, then you act all

When it gets a justifiable change I can't really take you seriously.
I actually agree with most of what you said here. Only difference is Blizzard aren't selling us a product and changing them. As for the Blizzcon Sombra skin (Sombra main btw) Blizzard hasn't brighten it, or changed it from the original product that you purchased. You can't tell me that if you purchased the Demon Hunter skin, and Blizzard turned it into a butterfly skin; something completely opposite of what you purchased you wouldn't be upset. Cosmetics shouldn't have an affect on gameplay. So the changes to them aren't justified. As for perks, add-ons, etc... those should have some time restriction on when changes can be made. Especially since they go to the PTB first and BHVR is marketing certain features only to sell it you, and take it back.
Just saying...🤷

So you're saying you only bought Ash for MOM, ugh.
If you got a problem with cosmetic changes, don't buy them or wait a while after their release.
I didn't buy him only for MoM, I was only using that as an example. But as someone who did buy him, I wasn't happy with the changes when it wasn't even a month after he was released that they decided to change a feature they were marketing.

Did you read the the user agreement before clicking "I accept"? I take it you didn't.
Terms of Service/User Agreements are usually ignored in video games because it's to protect the company, and not the players. Although I understand the legalities behind BHVR TOS; your sarcasm is still unwarranted.

Add the option to refuse being healed or unhooked by other survivors. (Stop amateur survivors from farming you while the killer is still in range, and they don't have borrowed time.
-
I agree, this tactic isn't a practice that I support. I mean honestly as a Killer main I didn't have any problems with MoM. No matter what perk the survivor has SWF will always trump everything. I think my biggest gripe is the fact that Ash hasn't even been out for a month, and you've already changed the purchased item to something I initially would have passed on. I'm not asking for a refund; however going forward I will spend MY money wisely.
-
So if I'm the last survivor and the killer downs me, you're telling me that I won't get to use my DS because it's only activated after I'm hooked. How is that fair? This is just like having Deliverance and never been thrown hook until the end. You don't get the opportunity to get your second chance. Automatic kill for the killer.

It's affecting both Playstation & XBOX One. My nephew and I both witnessed it on our consoles, and come here trying to see if anyone else had the same issue. I'm just seeing this post, which should probably be in "Technical Issues" there's another post addressing this issue there as well.

The Wraith is such a cheese, and it seems as if ever Wraith I go against, they're camping. Happy Camping Losers!!!

Even as a survivor main, I feel bad whenever I destroy a killer's totem because I know the game is about to become 100x easier for me.

I think doubling the time it takes to cleanse a totem is all it really needs (would be somewhat miserable with THOT).I agree, doubling the time to cleanse totems would be one solution. But I also think that whichever survivor cleanse the totem should also be cursed/exposed for the remainder of the trial.
