Obviously Meg and I got her to P3 but I am beginning to prestige Claudette. Reason being it is so easy to survive with her. Use self care, iron will, calm spirit, and quick and quiet and this ######### is a literal ninja. Dark maps with green, black, and brown designs such as Asylum, Red Forest, and Haddonfield HAVE to be hell for the killer to find Claudette in a green shirt.
Meg > Claudette > Nea > Feng > Dwight in that order

Ooooor make it similar to F13:Players that DC get 'salt'. the more salt they get the lower their priority to find a match in a queue. Let it decay over time.
The “salt mines” on F13 were just a cover up because the devs were implementing dedicated servers on consoles. I doubt it was even a real thing, the devs on F13 are extremely incompetent to do anything right.
This is coming from somebody who has played that game since the launch date

It depends on what is going on in the match. If the totem is close to the hooked survivor and the Nurse has flown off then common sense would be to get the totem then the survivor. Although if she had Thrill of the Hunt then it may be smarter to get the survivor first since she’ll obviously come back to guard the totem and do a little bit of patrolling around the survivor if she knows her totem was spotted.
-
Adrenaline is situational. Don’t lose a chase and you won’t have to worry about Self Care. Sprint Burst and all other exhaustion perks got a nerf. Decisive Strike is going to get a nerf as well. Everybody has some kind of complain against perks just because they actually work. Obviously I’m not going to run Deja Vu or This Is Not Happening when Sprint Burst and Self Care are MUCH better perks. That’s like me complaining to nerf BBQ and Nurse’s Calling because they work and tell you to run Monstrous Shrine and Unrelenting.

It’s not just Kate’s hair, any of the longer hair is the same way. Meg’s longer red hair hair is the same way. Meg also still has the helicopter ponytail. Not really something I particulary care about though. It can be funny at times.

Or maybe add a feature where the killer cannot see the survivors name or profile similar to how survivors cannot see who the killer is or their name and profile until the end of the game.

I think you should have enough RBTs to trap everyone twice and that they shouldn’t be able to see jigsaw auras until the timer starts. So no...you’re essentially asking forgiveness for tunneling a survivor that was not as strong of a player as the other 3. This happens to me all the time as a survivor and I don’t get upset; I’m still learning and my teammates are generally better players than I am.8 traps is SUPER powerful for The Pig. IMO max amount should be no more than 6. Jigsaw boxes shouldn’t light up for survivors until the timer starts. It shouldn’t be an add-on, it should be already included in the base set of The Pig.
I guess I was feeling mercy for the Jake player since I’ve been in that position before. I killed the Ace in the beginning and then the other two Claudette’s rushed the gens and Jake was just out in the open. It was the cornfield by the way and that map is not one of my favorites as I suffer heavily from corn blindness. I have a tough time as Myers and The Pig is WAY shorter than Myers. It was hell to say the least. Jake was just the easiest to find since Claudette usually blends into the corn.
I let him get the traps off while I tried chasing the Claudette players. I typically don’t tunnel the player with the RBT on their head, no point in doing that when you MAY be able to get a death due to that. Every time he got the RBT off I found him almost instantly. Poor Jakey Poo 😢

Honestly I feel as though when I use an escape cake or bloody party streamers (especially bloody party streamers) my rounds wind up #########. Whether it be farming teammates or campy killers who will mori you the second you get off the hook. I don’t like using them because they usually end up being a bad omen.

I like the ideas...I still think Boil Over should have a slight effect on the speed of wiggling though. It would make the perk much more viable. All it does currently is make the killer feel drunk while carrying you.

The actor that played Myers in the first movie was only like 5’10 I believe. I pretty sure he had on some lifts in his boots because he towered over Jamie Lee Curtis who stands 5’10. I do know that Tyler Mane who player Myers a few times is like 6’8 so they may have modeled Myers in the game after him.
The Myers we have in-game is the one from the first movie, but with the size of the remake version.
And it work well i think

I didn’t know the actor that played Myers in the first movie was so short. Jamie Lee Curtis is only about 3 inches shorter than him. He had to be wearing some sort of lifts in his boots. Although I do think there were about 2 different actors that played Myers in the first movie?
Anyways Myers would creep me out the most IRL. Let’s say the killers didn’t have the power of the entity behind them...a lot of people could easily take on The Nurse or Hag. The Huntress is a big #########, she would be scary as well.

Wraith and Pig players are the typical face camping killers. I had a Wraith who caught somebody (with five gens left by the way) and put them in the basement and they had Insidious. Not what I like to go against but I’m not gonna say they were wrong in doing so...it’s a scummy way to play but they aren’t breaking any rules. Yesterday I had a STUPID Claudette farm me every time I got hooked and the Hag tunneled me like an ass. I blamed Claudette more than the Hag but it’s still scummy to target the same person who is obviously being farmed. I spectated and told my friend not to save the Claudette and she sat there at rot on the hook and she died. I cannot stand farmers, it’s usually your own teammates. Those are just some examples. People will defend killers and claim they aren’t being toxic but the moment as survivors hits DS or blinds a killer they are toxic and deserve to be face camped. Entitled killer mains are all around. With facecamping and entitled killer mains you can’t argue, they aren’t breaking any rules. Scummy way to play? Yes, but not worth your breath. Either let yourself die on the hook or DC, not that hard to doPeople say the survivors are the cause of our communities community but what you said about covers it. Sure the survivors are partly to blame, but all the scummy entitled killers will label anything as toxic and play as toxic as possible in reply. They keep crying DS and flashlight but really, the killer can choose mid game wether to be toxic mid game or not, but survivors are stuck with he load out they joined the game with. The killers can't be bullied because they always have the upper hand. They can decide to face camp toxic players and not to camp fair ones. They get the choice, and survivors have to accept i, so how are they the ones who are ruining the community.
Oh man... where do i start...
Killers don´t have the upper hand. They never had and probably never will. Killers can be easily bullied by survivors. Face camping doesn´t exist anymore. It was removed back in october, but survivors love the word, so now everything is called face camping.Anything the killer does now is considered toxic by survivors. Survivors ran out of excuses to be toxic. So now they blame the killer. It´s the killers fault that they equipped DS. It´s the killers fault that they last second switched to flashlights. It´s the killers fault that he camps, when 3 survivors are camping the hook like a pack of hungry wolves. It´s the killers fault when they don´t get their ez escape.
Also, survivors can find flashlights in chests or get them from other survivors.
BOTH sides can be toxic and that’s what you aren’t realizing. Of course survivors can be toxic but blinding to save a teammate or hitting decisive is NOT toxic unless they CONTINUE to blind you at every pallet, teabag, and be unsportsmanlike. If you really hate flashlights and decisive then run enduring and lightborn...other than that I don’t know what to tell you. In all my games I run into flashlighting teammates only about 1 out of every 10 games.
Killers on the other hand that will target ONE survivor and facecamp with five gens still up (especially Leatherface reving his chainsaw in your face) can be considered to be pretty toxic. Facecamping exists still, but it has a counter which is the hook swivel. You can still look a survivor in the eye and be facecamping, it is a legit strategy...a bad one, still a strategy though. Just doesn’t make much sense to camp when five gens are up then whine and complain when they get gen-rushed.
Maybe instead of crying for survivor nerfs, learn how to work around it...a coordinated group of SWF will always give you a run for your money. I don’t get mad because it is a video game, both sides want to win and the more skilled side will more than likely win whether it is asymmetrical or not. Sometimes the side that plays dirty wins whether it be an Insidious basment Leatherface or a flashlight SWF group.
Of course both sides can be toxic. But i almost only see toxic survivors. Hell they are even toxic to their own teammates, when something goes wrong. No, not every survivor is toxic. But there sure are enough of them, where 1 is rank 20 and the rest is in red ranks. Those don´t play just to escape. Those play to be as toxic as possible.
I keep hearing those horror stories of face camping leatherfaces that camp you with 5 gens. But i´ve never seen one. I played almost exclusivly survivor for the last 2 months. I had maybe 2 toxic killers. But no face camping monsters you seem to encounter every match. But then again, i wouldn´t loop a leatherface around a basement.
There is no working around it btw. Killer can´t be at 4 places at the same time. If he chases 1 survivor, the other ones can do gens. If he switches target, the first one goes back to a gen. The ONLY way around it, would be to play highly mobile killers like Billy or Nurse all the time. and even then, survivors can gen rush you.
In my own experience, a lot of Leatherface players play like an absolute forehead and will have the mindset of “tunnel, tunnel, tunnel.” Then get gen rushed when they finally get that one survivor down and realize there is only one generator left then they start to camp because they want to ensure a kill then at the end of the screen everybody gets more points than Leatherface did. I rarely have any good encounters with Leatherface players.
I’ll never attempt to loop a Leatherface near the basement by the way, but when he has agitation and iron grasp sometimes you are going im that basement no matter what.
Survivors are very powerful at keeping the killer distracted but very weak in breaking line of sight and stopping chases which is why you see people looping killer and not playing stealthy.
I dunno about only Nurse and Billy. I honestly feel as though The Pig is underrated. NOED Piggy with four traps left, it is pretty much game over especially since survivors tend to be overly altruistic. Not saying The Pig is top tier but there are other viable options rather than just Nurse and Billy ESPECIALLY on console since The Nurse is harder to use on console
I can link you some screenshots of me playing Leatherface. Not every Leatherface is a Insidious basement camper. I consider him one of the weaker killers. Because he´s very limited with his chainsaw. But i like playing him.
If 4 gens get done while the killer downs his first survivor, then there´s a huge balance problem. No surprise the killer camps. There´s not much to do. Even if he knows where to go, chances are high that the gen pops before he reaches it. Then the loop starts again. Thats not really toxic from the killer. Maybe pragmatic. But that´s about it.
Of course not every Leatherface is an Insidious camper. I’ve just gone against so many that will run BBQ and not put it to use. There isn’t a point in using BBQ and see all three survivors and not go after one of them. Now if they are all around the hook like a pack of wolves then obviously there is no need to leave the hook.
Leatherface is a weaker killer, which is why I’m surprised I see him pop up so much in higher ranks. Although Wraith is considered a weaker killer and I see him pop up a lot in high ranks as well
Going back to the toxic teammates I HATE when Farmer David gets me off the hook right in front of the killer and I’m the one getting tunneled. I mean it’s a smart move on the killers part to chase the injured survivor but I’ve gotten killed that way so many times that when I am a killer I’ll go after the farmer instead of the survivor I just hooked. Farming teammates are the worst.
BBQ is easily avoidable. They nerved the aura reading. Which makes it harder to see survivors that hide behind a gen. They are basically defeating the purpose of BBQ: killer leaving the hook, because he see´s someone else. Survivors which hide close to the hook or behind a gen, shouldn´t complain that the killer is camping. They gave him no reason to leave the hook.
It´s fun to play different killers. I hate to play always the same killers. It really gets boring in time. That´s why the devs should buff the other killers, so that there are more than 2 high tier killers.
The farming was worse when WGLF still had the 200% BP bonus. But some survivors still think that killers caused that nerf and want it buffed back. But that was madness. Survivors would race themselfes to the hook, farming their teammates without mercy.
There is a huge problem with buffing other killers to get them on “Nurse and Billy level”. Not every killer is physically possible to be that powerful. You will never see Bing Bong and Sleepy Boy on a higher tier level, their powers just don’t work that way. Not every killer needs that kind of a buff either. Myers and Huntress are balanced and top tier killers but do they need a buff so they can be on the same level as Nurse? Hell no, they are already stupidly powerful in most people’s hands. Trapper and Hag got a buff as well, they aren’t top tier like Nurse but they are much more viable in higher ranks than before. Some killers NEEDED a buff and some simply do not. You cannot have every killer on the level on Nurse. Just not possible. The only killer that REALLY needs a buff is Freddy.
So according to you Trapper is now top tier alongside Billy?
Devs need to buff the base kits of killers. They need to be able to be played without add-ons. Only Nurse and Billy are able to be played like this. Other killers are heavily dependant on add-ons.
I don´t want to spend 50.000-150.000 BPs on a random bloodweb, to be able to have 1 or 2 good rounds with a killer.Did you not read what I said? I CLEARLY said “Trapper and Hag got a buff as well, they aren’t top tier like Nurse but they are much more viable in higher ranks than before.” They aren’t top tier but they are much better than before. They got a massive buffs to trap speeds and their perks. You will never have Trapper and Hag on the same level as the Nurse. Nurse can ignore walls and pallets and other game physics while other killers cannot. Billy is super mobile and can zoom around the map like no other killer can other than Nurse. You aren’t going to see Leatherface zooming around like Billy.
Making them more viable without add-ons would be great, but they’re simple baseline killers...they cannot be as viable as Nurse simple as that. What sort of buff would you give to ONLY Trapper to make HIM more viable for play that wouldn’t as benefit killers like Nurse?

Top three are easily the most powerful with their best add-ons.

It gets boring really quick, playing stealthy. And getting chased makes me feel like I can actually help my teammates somewhat, by distracting the killer and have them waste time on me.
My cosmetics on some survivors make it hard as well... Fashion over stealth any day~It depends on my character, I’ll play stealthy on Claudette. Although on Meg I use the long red hair and grey track outfit.

Jamie Lee Curtis is actually 5’7, my bad

Some perks are pretty annoying to go against at first, others are less so now.Ruin and Huntress's Lullaby aren't as annoying to deal with anymore. You just have to try to get the skill checks correctly for Ruin, and for Huntress's Lullaby, you just need to pay extra attention to the center of the screen, but that means you can't really look around as effectively.
Make Your Choice is probably my biggest annoyance right now because a lot of times, I don't notice the icon until I get 1 hit downed and wasn't expecting it.
I hate Huntress Lullaby. Certainly not impossible but it is doable. You can always tell if you are affected with Make Your Choice. Your character will scream when unhooking a survivor. Sometimes I just hide in a locker until the effect wears off.

It just doesn’t feel right thaf the medal is called “evader” yet if you weren’t in a chase you’ll get no medal. I believe if you evade the killer all game that the VERY least you should get is a bronze, maybe even gold.

Because in low ranks the survivors are new and have very little hours. I RARELY played killer until recently when I started back up and I destroyed everybody up until I got to about Rank 11 when people started to escape from me more often. It is simply because players are more used to the game and know how to play. There is going to be no fear at high ranks due to people becoming accustomed to the gameplay. That is the purpose of higher ranked matches, games will be more intense and harder for both sides. Happens with most online multiplayer games. You can’t expect to run over every survivor in your path. There are some that will be more skilled than you period. Some will be toxic and some will just be coordinated and know what to do. Of course the toxicity is awful but not EVERY survivor at high rank is toxic and not all SWF will teabag you at the gate and be toxic. That’s like me saying that all Wraith’s will camp the hook cloaked and all Leatherface’s will do Insidious plays in the basement.Tsulan said:@XDevilishFurryX said:

Killers kill and survivors survive. There's nothing toxic about playing the game how it's supposed to be played.
I don't get anyone with that type of mindset.
If they can't handle how it's supposed to be they should consider another game.
No point in getting themselves upset over something small. It's just a game after all.
We 2 should play some rounds. I bet i can make you uninstall the game by just playing normal.
Well I did payed around $19 for it so I wouldn't waste the money. X-X
There will be wins and some losses and I'll accept defeat.
There will be people obviously way better and more experienced than me. I hope to improve. There may be people who play in certain ways but I can't control that. Things won't always just be easy.
I payed to get enjoyment out of the game, and I'm not going to let anyone change that.
It's not really healthy to rage or get upset over something that isn't real.
I say it more out of concern for people who do get upset.
There will be many more matches. I can't expect them all to go my way.
To my first comment I was just mostly thinking about killers in horror movies and their victims. How it usually goes.If I fall I'll just get back up and try again. No matter how many times I fall I'll try again.
I assume you are new here. So i give you the benefit of the doubt.
But this game can be really stressful. There is no other game i´ve played, where people get so angry. Even LoL has less toxic people than DbD.
On low ranks, the game plays like it´s supposed to be played. Killers are strong, survivors fear for their lives. Everyone is happy. But on high ranks, the powerrole shifts dramatically. Killers turn to bullied victims and survivors to bullies. This is happens basically because of some design choices that make it incredible easy for survivors to keep the killer busy for an almost infinite amount of time.
Survivors teabag and click with their flashlights to get the attention of the killer. They taunt him, because they know that he can´t down them in certain spots. This breeds toxic behavior.
If you don´t know what i mean, i recommend you to play killer on high ranks.I wish you good luck.

Why would you hate borrowed time? You wouldn’t have to deal with it if you weren’t around the hooked person. You wouldn’t be complaining about borrowed time if you would put on BBQ and look for other survivors. It is meant to counter campers.

I mean after such a big undeserved nerf, she sure as hell should get a big buff on the other side. Just like survivors usually get. You know, nerfbuffs.
What would she get in return ? Does she really need anything in return even without a 3rd blink ? I really can't argue with you since you said "Undeserved nerf".
You know that she needs something in return. Since she already got nerfed several times.
Survivors get buffs with every nerf. BT got nerfed and buffed in the same patch. Same goes for SC and every other survivor perk that gets even slightly "nerfed".Sure mate, derail every convo to " Hey survivors have BT, SC, DS, SB and calm spirit"

Like i said before, if you think nurse is fine as she is; Then no need to keep discussing it together. My statement remains, Her 3rd blink should be at least a very rare offering giving how much power it grants and her 4th and 5th blink should not have even been a thing to start with. Cheers.
If The Nurse did only have a third blink then her third blink should be able to go the same range as her first blink. Right now The Nurse has a third, fourth, and fifth blink but they have a very short range, not to mention she has a VERY long fatigue afterward. There is no need to nerf her blinks. Maybe it is just me because I play on console and I have only run into ONE God tier Nurse in all my hours of playing. Why nerf the best killer simply because she is good at killing?
However I do agree how killer mains will redirect the attention to any nerfs and buffs survivors have gotten...it’s annoying as hell to not stay on topic 😒
urghhh nurse on PC is a whole different story than console, sadly. I heard it's hard to play her on console due to some stutter\fps issues. 3 blinks is almost a guaranteed 3-4k for any good nurse main (Even below average would probably 4k), unless the player is REALLLLY new to the game.
According to you, playing nurse is like pressing the "i win" button.
On PC a skilled Nurse player will easily get a 3-4K. We all know Nurse is the best killer in the game when skilled. Of course you’ll have bad rounds but on average playing Nurse on PC is a way to destroy SWF group.
Mastering Nurse takes a fair amount of time. It´s by no means a "i win" button. She´s way harder to learn than every other killer. If survivors spent even half of the time they complain about the nurse, to learn how to evade her. Then there wouldn´t be a problem at all.
People asking to nerf the nurse just want free escapes handed out.3+ blinks is way far from a "Free escape", even many experienced killer mains agree with that. And by experienced i mean those with 3-4k hours, not just 1k.
It seems more like killers wanting free wins with 3 blinks than survivors wanting free escape

So 3 blinks are free wins? I must be doing something right then. Since i mostly survive playing against 3 blink nurses. As i stated earlier, i really don´t have a problem with nurses.
I rarely have trouble playing against Nurse. Again, I’m on console and it is a lot harder to play Nurse on console than it is on PC. I barely ever even see Nurse players at high rank, it is mainly a mix of Myers, Billy, Huntress, and sometimes Leatherface (don’t know why but Leatherface is popular at high ranks on PS4). I can’t get behind a nerf to the Nurse, the only nerf she would really get is having a 3 blink max and I still don’t think that is necessary. She’s got a very high skill cap so if a player takes the time to learn how to play the Nurse then they will dominate. Survivors need to stop whining about Nurse nerfs, she is a killer that really doesn’t need any sort of nerf OR buff.

From ranked, not from the whole game.
Either balance the game around SWF or remove it from ranked and make it casual-only. There are no other optionsSo only SWF in KYF? Not gonna work. It’s just that simple that the game will die. Over half the playbase will be gone. The devs are smart enough not to remove it because they know it’ll destroy the game. Only killer mains will be happy and it and all the survivors will disappear and you’ll be left with about only 20% of the playbase they had. It’s not a smart decision.

When i was learning nurse, survivors ran around me, clicking their flashlights and teabagging me. Telling me after the match, that i need to git gud. That i´m not on their skill level. That i´m a baby nurse.
But when i do a 4k with her, she´s suddenly OP and needs a nerf.No one spends 200+ hours looking for pennies on the ground, because the floor tiles are so interesting. People spend so much time to master her, so they could finally beat survivors on high ranks.
Git Gud? That´s exactly what people did.
Don´t like it? Stop saying it then!Oh God...I’m still a baby Nurse with teabagging and flashlight clicking survivors. I’m getting a little better at the blinks but I play on PS4 and those blinks are brutal. The only time I like being Nurse is on The Game map. She needs NO nerf.

Wraith is a notorious camper. I honestly just don’t like the Wraith’s entire design, namely his chicken legs. Leatherface walks like a duck and squeals like a pig. I don’t like Trapper either. Some players put bad reputations on those killers and some killers I just hate their design. Some survivors designs I dislike as well. Laurie looks like a damn horse.
-
Nah. Nurse and Billy do not need to be nerfed. Not every killer is going to be viable at a higher rank. Obviously a Nurse at Rank 1 is gonna be better than Freddy or Wraith. The design of the Wraith’s ability is NEVER going to be on par with The Nurse and that is what people fail to realize. Wraith will NEVER be on The Nurse or Billy’s level, he will always be a low rank killer due to his design. Huntress and Myers are the next viable killers at higher rank and can be used quite well. Instead of the same ol’ “nerf this and buff that” argument, what really needs to be addressed is map designs and chases. Survivors need a better chance at losing chases and breaking line of sight and possibly while you are in a chase the scratch marks disappear quicker than out of a chase. While killers need to deal with less loops.
-
Wraith and Pig players are the typical face camping killers. I had a Wraith who caught somebody (with five gens left by the way) and put them in the basement and they had Insidious. Ehhh...it’s easier for me to rank up as killer. You can go from Rank 20 to Rank 10 within a day because of all the newbie survivors. Double pipping is easy as pie. It’s gets harder as you go up in rank as to be expected. On the survivor side it is harder to rank up in the lower ranks because all the survivors you are playing with are foreheads or new to the game. It’s easier to rank up as a killer than it is in survivor especially in lower ranks.MineAntoiya said:It's not hard to rank up at all. It's just a matter of grinding through matches. With Survivor definitely being easier. Also, if you're playing solo just be selfish, it's hard to be a team player solo unless you bring the full on team player perks.
-
I used to run Urban Evasion on my Meg but I switched it for Self Care. My main loadout is Sprint Burst, Decisive (oh well call me what you want but I’ll run what I want), Adrenaline, and Self Care. I run the typical meta build but it’s the best build for pipping hands down. I might switch DS for Deliverance when the new survivor is released. To answer you question, I usually run Adrenaline over Urban Evasion but it depends on your playstyle. If you play stealthy then run Urban Evasion...if you find yourself injured a lot and being the distraction character then run Adrenaline.
Question...so if the killer hooks you and you have Deliverance as a perk and the last generator popped and you unhook yourself and you also have Adrenaline...will you still have the broken status effect or will Adrenaline ignore it? -

Decisive Strike is fine as it is. Your suggestion would quite frankly, make it completely useless. It the devs want to add a temporary Broken effect, that's fine, but I don't understand why people complain about it. It's a very useful perk, so people should be punished for using it? There are several killer perks that can counter DS.
Enduring - reduces the stun duration.
Iron Grasp - makes the skill check show up a bit later for non-obsessions.
Unnerving Presence - makes the success zone much smaller.Agreed. Why use DS if when you use it, it’ll make you go to struggle phase? You’ll most likely still be caught and hooked. It would be beneficial to run another perk instead. There are many ways to make Decisive not as useful. Not ever perk has or needs a direct counter to it. When I first started, DS was in the shrine and I bought it and used it as a main perk. I still use it but half the time I don’t need it or miss the skill check anyways. People will complain about every perk that is useful in the game (DS, SC, SB). Just because it is useful doesn’t mean it needs a nerf.

I think DS is just fine as is tbh, it is annoying, but i believe if they change bigger more important elements of the game it won't be as broken.Of course, genrush is currently what discourages the killer from making chases that last longer than 20 seconds (if you want to play safely and to take no bad risks). Still I believe that currently Decisive Strike just gives you a free escape that you really don't deserve for the price of a succeeded skill check (should it even count as a price) and of a perk slot (ok, the obsession is one but people that aren't have even more chances to get the killer unexpectedly which sometimes is worse).
i'm not saying its a fair perk man i'm on board its not a well made perk. (for the current state of the game) I just think a bigger change of something else that makes decisive strike not as good without having to touch decisive strike directly and making it a useless perk would be better. changing decisive strike would just be putting a small bandage on a large wound.
I understand your point and I agree, but my idea is just following a little better the nerfing schedule that the game designers have been following since 2.0.
I don't understand why they refuse to slow the generators down, that would be a key to a better gameplay, but they just keep on going all the way around that solution, dodging it, taking away some fun for the survivors too (say the change to the pickup animation, that was done on purpose to nerf flashlight saving, and thinking of
the general reason why they said they did it, it seems like they just listened to newbie killers getting "bullied" by deranked survivors).@CoolAKn said:
Okay, but not everyone is Rank 1 going against 4 man SWF. I only play solo. I'm not great at juking. I am not the best at trying to pallet loop, but Decisive is my only get-out-of-jail free card that in a lot of cases, I don't even survive to the end, but it increases my chances of survival, which is my goal. As far as your suggestion to have DS remove a hook stage, it would just make the killer tunnel me knowing he only needs to hook me twice. Killers already counter DS by dropping me over and over again. Supposedly it's supposed to fill the meter with each drop, but I have yet to see that. Once the new chapter comes out, everyone will have access to Rancor, which makes DS useless, since the killer will just avoid me until the Exit Gates are powered, where they can just Mori me and I am denied an otherwise useful perk. I already get tunneled running No Mither on David, almost guaranteeing I get hooked every time, making No Mither an absolutely worthless perk. That kind of nerf completely negates the usefulness of DS, because the idea is to NOT get on the hook, but using it is the same as if you were hooked anyway? No, not worth it.Especially with Rancor making DS worthless, DS does not need a nerf.
Not insulting, not judging you, but you have to commit to improving your skills in chases against the killer.
If pallet looping is really not for you, you could give a chance to playing stealth, and maybe you could start winning chases with it as the killer could lose you with a perk such as Urban Evasion, Iron Will, Dance with me.Otherwise you could try out playing some killer and take advantage of that experience to see how survivors manage to earn safety with those same pallets that seem to be unhelpful to you.
It's not really good if you get carried by a perk anyways, you should no matter what never get used to having the same perks over and over. Solo Survivor is playable even without perks on rank 1, and you're not required to play uniquely stealthy (unless it's a Nurse, I'll take that one..), you can keep the killer and do everything right anyways.Getting back on topic, I understand that when playing solo there is also many people messing up in your team and everything, and that doesn't always help you practicing to improve yourself, so yeah, my nerf idea would be a little brutal I'm assuming.
Yet when survivors are good at running around killers...killer main will conplain that survivors are too OP at 1V1 chasing. I mean I can lose a killer in a chase by breaking line of sight and sometimes it comes down to looping and map design on how easy it is too lose a killer. Example: it is much easier to lose a killer in the corn field or on a dark map (Red Forest) than it is to lose a killer on The Game or Asylum. DBD will never be able to please everybody when everybody screams for nerfs to one particular side.

Wiggling is fine the way it is...however hook spawns could be more spread out instead of having hooks 10 meters apart. Boil Over should honestly be buffed to increase wiggling speed by a certain %. It’s a pretty useless perk. Other than that wiggling speed is fine how it is currently.

ruin is the bane of my [BAD WORD] existenceHex: Ruin is a joke. If the totem isn't destroyed instantly it can easily be worked through. It's simple if a skill check appears then you try for greatness. If you cannot perform great skill checks and only good skill checks then just let go once the generator sparks. You cannot make repair progress while the generator is sparking. Just let go and work through it.
its not that its op , its that its annoying af and its on every fkin game
I feel you...Ruin gets annoying as hell whem it is in every game and I’m not that good with hitting great skill checks, but if you look at it from the killers side of things...they’ll get easily gen rushed without it. That’s why I got all my Adept killer trophies while I was still Rank 20...most games only one gen got done.

Okay so what are you least favorite perks go against as a survivor or killer? My least favorite perk to go against as a survivor is definitely Franklin’s Demise. No other killer perk really annoys me as much as Franklin’s. If you wind up being the obsession the new perk Rancor could also be annoying to go against if you get caught in the end
My least favorite perk to go against as a killer is probably Adrenaline. I mean Decisive Strike is annoying to go against but having hit a survivor then having them blast off with Adrenaline and then having them break line of sight can be crushing.
DS
Anyone using it in my lobby can prepare to be used as mop to clean the floor.
I dont have killer perks I really hate, I dislike playing against NOED though. Staying stealthy the whole game and then dieing because of one hit feels really bad
I don’t dislike Decisive since it is a one and done perk and if you run Enduring it isn’t as bad as people claim it is. I do however dislike the trolls who run DS and click their flashlights at you and teabag. It doesn’t personally affect me because it is online multiplayer but it can get annoying really quickly especially if you have a 4 man DS SWF team. It’s not the perk normally but usually it is the way people play that I dislike
A few hours ago I actually had a 4 man DS SWF (never happens eh).
Still managed to 4k them though because they were boosted AF and belived they are gods. But even if I 4ked, the game was really frustrating and I stopped playing after that. The two games before were both spoiled by DCs, guess enough DBD for one day
A 4 man DS SWF team can get annoying really quickly, although I can’t complain because the four man team I usually play with, at least three of us run DS normally. It’s just the way most SWF teams play. We don’t act toxic and none of us can even use a flashlight properly anyways. The game can get super annoying with DS. DC’s don’t ever affect me honestly, nothing in this game really gets under my skin...I’ve been through F13 The Game and teaming Jason players and all the toxicity that can come with that game, so DBD’s toxicity isn’t affecting me anytime soon.
I would say if it were to be nerfed then maybe make it so DS had a certain % faster to wiggling than an automatic break free but that would probably be a better buff for Boil Over.

BBQ & Chilli? Cause it's every matchFor surv either Self Care or DS (if they aren't the obsession)
I’ve learned to live with BBQ because every killer uses it. Same as every survivor uses Self Care. I haven’t even gotten BBQ because I HATE Leatherface and I haven’t leveled him up and BBQ is never in the Shrine.

Killer: DS, SB, OOO, SC - The usual meta perks that make playing killer miserable.Survivor: Dying Light, Insidious, MYC - These perks encourage scummy play styles in my opinion. Just not fun to deal with.
Agreed with Dying Light and Insidious...but Make Your Choice? Meh, the killer has to be over 32 meters away at least and if you realize that you are afflicted with it, you can just hide in a closet for the full 60 seconds if the killer is being scummy.

I'm still pretty low-tier survivor, but from my experience timer or not - the RBT doesn't matter because every Pig I've encountered is just going to camp the hook. I think it'd be a more interesting dynamic if they had to chose RBT or the hook. As in, they have to let the survivor go with the RBT.I don't really know how this would fully play out from a gameplay setting, but I think it'd make the Pig a lot more interesting, and probably more fitting with the actual lore.
A lot of Pigs will crouch and camp the hook and then tunnel the survivor once they get off the hook. Making the RBT pretty pointless. Although I hate when Pig players do tunnel the survivor with the RBT on their head, not sure that making a RBT vs hook decision a good idea. It would fit with the lore but it would be unbalanced honestly.

Yes, it should be shorter.
In the movies it´s an actual deathtrap. In the game it´s a minor inconvenience. No it wasn’t. It’s the most popular trap for sure but only ONE person died from the reverse bear trap in the entire franchise as far as I know and that was Jill. Everybody else escaped the bear trap. It wasn’t a deathtrap...they all escaped it. There were much deadly traps in the series
But they sure as hell were pressured, because they disarmed it seconds before it went off.
I don´t feel pressured when i have one on my head.Well I’m not sure on how the devs would implement more pressure on the trap timing. In the movies it was 60 seconds, which would be FAR too short of a time in the game to traverse around the map with Jigsaw boxes. Not to mention Pig players normally tunnel the trapped player anyways...why even bother if they can’t even go around and check the boxes. Most of the time I’ll get tunneled and sacrified before I can even check a box. I just feel as those it is nitpicking with the RBT timing. Of course there is gonna be instances where a survivor takes it off their head in the first box, it is all RNG. I’d be fine with decreasing it by 30 seconds but it just feels unnecessary

It’s not meant to be a killing mechanic. It is more so a time waster. Most Pig players will be a forehead anyways and tunnel the ######### with the trap on their head when it was obviously beeping. There isn’t a need to tunnel them when they could be trapping other survivors and POSSIBLY get a kill out of the reverse bear trap. That’s one of the reasons the trap never kills. The time doesn’t need to be shorter. If anything were to be changed it should be that survivors don’t see the Jigsaw box auras until their trap activates. I know it is an add-on but if people really wanted a Pig buff then it should be always be active and not only as an add-on. The Pig is fine the way she is, she is a mid-tier killer...not every killer needs to buffed to be on the same level as Billy and Nurse. The only killer that needs a bit of buffing is Freddy, since the Wraith is getting reworked.
