Why play Leatherface when Hillbilly is much better?

When you have survivors make incredibly dumb saves as your approaching the hook to check on it and get a double down, it is super satisfying. Nothing like hearing multiple screams at once that you can't get with any other killer. (and on the rare 1 time occasion, a 3 man down in one saw charge when 2 survivors came to rescue the basement hooked survivor so that they could get them out, and no i wasn't even memeing the insidious LF in this game)

This is the ONLY good thing about Leatherface. He has terrible map pressure and honestly it’s the way he walks that annoys me. Why does he waddle like a duck? Or that he is constipated? I don’t like Hillbilly either and the chainsaw swerve is annoying but he has much better map pressure than Leatherface. The chainsaw killers are not my thing but I still prefer Hillbilly

I mean EVERY SINGLE update in the game has been killer buffs and survivor nerfs. In the beginning, I will agree survivors were overpowered, especially before bloodlust. Although with each killer buff patch, how many more can we get before killers become extremely OP? Sure some killers probably will never be OP (Freddy/Wraith) but some DO NOT need any buffs (Billy/Nurse/Huntress/Myers). Survivors don’t exactly need a buff but killers really don’t either. The game is not supposed to hold your hand as you try and hook survivors, you will not get a 4K every single round. Decisive Strike is a survivor crutch but with that nerf coming in soon and all the killer buffs, there isn’t a need to complain about decisive strike. I just don’t want to game to be SO MUCH in the killers hands were the survivors have no chance of escape even with a bad killer. Trust me, I don’t want it easy as a survivor but they need somewhat of a chance of escape.

You have not played the game since the start. Check the patch notes on the wiki if you want to know how hilariously wrong you are.

I don’t have to have been playing the game from the start to know most if not all of the patch notes. Just because I haven’t been actually playing the game doesn’t mean I haven’t followed it. You have to admit that the majority of the patches have been killer buffs (a lot of them well needed) but what exactly do killers still need a buff in? Some things yes...nothing at this point is game breaking (like before bloodlust and loops could be abused). Just feel like some people are nitpicking at this point.
Fail to understand survivors have the upperhand now. It's not about handholding, but game mechanic wise, the objectives, average chase time, is not on most killers side. Some people are noobs, but people who play a bit and hugher rank know this.
Not everybody is higher rank and you ever get mismatched into different ranks with killers. I’ve been a Rank 18 noob with a Rank 3 killer and I’ve been a Rank 6 survivor with a Rank 20 baby killer. Thing is that a 4 man SWF will crush a bad killer but a SKILLED killer with get a least two kills. Look at Monto’s videos, rarely does he complain about SWF groups, of course he runs into toxic groups who last minute switch to flaslights but he usually gets a 4K. A lot of complains are very nitpicky to be honest. If you cater to every complain that high ranks say you’ll drive away newer players
  • Really depends on the killer honestly. Yesterday me and my friend were playing the swamp with Myers and the round STARTED with just the two of us. Myers knocked us down and hooked us once then lets hs finish the three generators. He knocked us down and again, let us heal ourselves, and lets us destroy his NOED totem. Some killers will feel sorry for you because at that point there is nothing to do but farm bloodpoints.

Why we never see survivors writing about how they are burned out? Judging from all the toxic comments they usually make, and the threats to abandon this game if their perks get even slightly nerfed, there should be tons of "i can´t take it anymore, survivor is just to unrewarding" threads. But there are not.

You can get burned out either way...the toxic community goes both ways with toxic survivors and killers. I am obviously a survivor main, dying every round due to facecamping will burn you out. Same goes to killers who get teabagged at the exit gate. It’s just a game, sometimes you need to take a break.
Most Survivors I meet that are toxic, are toxic because they are already burned out.

The base game isn’t fun or thrilling anymore to them because it’s too easy to run around with Flashlight, Meta perks, and Loop the Killer into oblivion. They also get bored easy because they get stuck on Gen Duty because the Killer won’t even bother to chase them. Simply because the Killer knows it’s a waste of time to chase the Obsession with DS and flashlight that Loops.

Playing on easy mode gets boring quickly, then they go toxic because they are bored and “have nothing else to do.”

I do agree though, some Killers are just plain toxic from the start. I’ve had quite a few camp me and I die, then they send me a message asking “Fun game huh?” or some odd crap digging for salt from me.
If the killer won't chase then just stop using all the meta perks. Its not complicated. Players like truetalent are playing survivor with limitations like dead hard instead of sprint burst and is gonna do a no mother run next rank reset. Why not pick up a survivor stealth build. Or run different builds. Their isn't even a reward for ranking up why stick with these dull hodge podge builds.

I don't get how survivors who are burnt out take their rage out on a killer who's playing for fun and isn't camping at all. Its so counter intuitive are you as a human being so shallow you wanna take your pent up frustration out on some well meaning player because the previous players was an ass. Then again I'm not surprised I blame ochido disgusting presence in this community he's a blight on the game and has only inspired others to be equally disrespectful.
Same reason killers take out their salt on a specific survivor who was the same character that teabagged them last round eeven though it was a different player.

I would classify myself as a survivor main, but I'm dabbling more into killer to open my eyes to the other half of the game. I remember when Myers first came out, the game was illegitimately terrifying. He was picked by every killer for what seemed a month until survivors got their ######### together. Ever since then I've been had that same feeling of terror beside a good chase or last minute escape. From my recent matches as killer I do notice I find myself more on edge, but this comes from hoping I don't get gen rushed.

The dev's just need to create some element in order to change the meta of the game. Generators need to take longer or require something else in order to fix them completely. Maybe find some parts around the map or something. Just anything to extend the game. My average game is about 10 mins if the killer doesn't already have ruin and add 3 minutes if they have it. Compare this to many other multiplayer games and something doesn't feel right.

Ha. Find parts, have you played Rank 20? Nobody knows what to do and everybody dies easily. It’s why I hate rank reset because it is hard to even rank back up due to your teammates. Honestly Ruin is all the killer SHOULD need to slow down the game. I get it, gen rushing is a thing but not everybody that plays the game is at Rank 1 and some people just like to have a good time playing. Gens already take forever to complete solo.
Ruin is all you need? Never mind the fact survivors spawn right next to the totem or the totem is often placed in the god damn open or right next to a generator. Credit where its due the totems spawns on the game is actually pretty good but that's one map they have to rework the totem spawns for all the maps and seriously reconsider the blood web system if i can't play my killer until I unlock a specific perk tied to a dlc killer I might add.
Thing I’ve realized is that people ALWAYS want easy killer games and a 4K. Just simply not gonna happen. You WILL be outplayed at times by survivors. There are frustrating times as killers. Sure the totem spawns can use adjusting to be better hidden. The Game map is such a killer friendly map and if you run Ruin on that map you are pretty much guarenteed a 4K if you are a skilled killer. If you are a skilled Nurse? That is easy mode. The swamp has some pretty good totem spawns as well, definitely not like The Game though. Just can’t get behind the idea of finding parts for the generators especially now that BNP’s have been nerfed.
Game is not killer friendly, plenty of good infinites and jukes on that map. Game is nuetral, good for totem spots I admit.
Ehh...I’ve had more bad rounds on The Game then escapes. It is hard to find generators and that map is a maze. Easy for some killers, harder for others but it is more a killer map than a survivor map. Swamp is a survivor friendly map though.

Killer mains are SALTY over decisive strike. It is a crutch perk but so is BBQ and Chill, brutal strength, and nurses calling...not to mention all of the aura reading add-ons that could be called a crutch on the killers side. There are both crutch survivor perks (DS, sprint burst, self care) and crutch killer perks. If it works then why ######### about it? If the player using DS acts toxic, don’t assume everybody who runs DS is a toxic player.
I looked at the most popular survivor channels on YouTube and after heavy research found that ochido's channel is the most popular of all of them. I'm calling the kettle black because the kettle is black, ds is a dead give away that your a toxic player same as a killer running insidious. The difference is most killers don't run insidious.

Also you don't realise how Ds is damaging the upper rank survivor games. Ds players are notorious for letting their team die in order to get hatch. Killers won't pick em up unless there far ahead and many survivors have to take the fall instead of the Ds player who played badly.

Its funny how this perk screws over other survivors by boosting the rank of players whose mechanics are not as sharp as the cream of the crop. I would have never made it to rank 1 as killer if there weren't so many boosted survivor players as their is now. You can thank decisive strike for that.
Of the five main YouTuber DBD players (OchiDo, Monto, Panda, No0b3, Tru3Ta1ent) the most “popular” one is Panda with 512K subs. Out of ALL of them (Tru3Ta1ent rarelt plays survivor as it is) the only two that run Decisive is No0b3 and OchiDo and only ONE is really actually a toxic player. I’m pretty sure you can guess who that is. You can’t say “if you run decisive strike you are a toxic player”. A lot of people who do ARE toxic, but not every last player who runs the perk is toxic. Doesn’t matter anyways, if people want to run the perk then let them and not make a big fuss about it. It’s not any worse that an Insidious Leatherface hiding in the corner of a basement waiting to somebody to come down and make the save.

Except its messing with the rank system. Players who are the obsession are left till last meaning they pip faster and end up populating the high ranks. They then coast on the skill of their teammates as they are hooked and killed last because the killer (in order to remain competitive) needs to target the non-obssesion players first. When people start dying the Ds player will back off and hide until the last member of there team dies.

You might not care about the high rank play but there are plenty of survivors and killers who are sick of this. You can't grasp how frustrating it is to lose at least 4 seconds of time to ds and the reactivation of the chase. If your not always hooking and you lose momentum losing a hook  the game is over. Never mind teams full of Ds that can massively destroy any momentum you could gain as a killer.

It such a massive game inbalance. I had games where I saw a Ds in play with two last second flashlight switchers. Long ago I would play the game as if I didn't even know it was in play and barely land a kill due to the stun time and momentum lost. The next time this happened I choose to go against my own rules and face camp the Ds player when they got knocked down next to the hook. They all raced for the save and sure enough none of them did gens. I continued this strat for the rest of the game until the last player was left. He went for the hatch and I finished with three sacrifices and a pip.

This was the optimum play because I assumed everyone had ds and post game lobby I was vindicated with all 4 players running ds. This is what Ds counterplay looks like its facecamping the Ds players because they all play in a behaviour that obvious. Spamming flashlights and tea bagging. Sometimes stereotypes exist for a reason and the perks a survivor uses often gives you a damn good read on the type of players your up against.

So in summation Ds is a perk that only pushes weak players up the ranks with counterplay that is unfun and boring. But do go ahead and argue how it doesn't matter. The facts will always be at your feet all you have to do is look.
You. Can’t. Say. All. Decisive. Players. Are. Toxic. You’ve gone against high rank decisive players, they are most than likely toxic. But don’t tunnel the obsession because they have decisive. I ran decisive strike when I was a new player to get a a good grasp on the game. Decisive was actually in the shrine about a week or two after I started playing. It was around March/April.

Decisive counters a players mistake, a crutch. NOED is a killer crutch, it can be countered but it is not ALWAYS countered. Oh well...if you don’t like decisive I don’t know what to tell you. It isn’t gonna stop people from running it as a perk.
I never expected people to stop running it. When it comes to multiplayer games players will exploit the strongest strategy to get to the top. They will fast track by any means necessary. I want to explain the damage this perks is doing to high rank play and get across that its counters are not pleasant and only serve to promote a cruel killer play style.

More importantly I want survivors to know that the Ds players are the ones pushing a tunneling killer play style as choosing to chase the obsession will yield no hook as it is likely their carrying ds so when I see you running by a pallet spamming your flashlight. I m not gonna chase you if I know you have ds I'll just chill by the hook or hunt someone else.

So many survivors complain about tunneling unaware why the killer will chase them after unhooking rather then the saver will its likely your saviour is carrying ds and we are not gonna throw our game to chase the ds player and give you a chance.

I saw a truetalent video recently where he teamed up with a survivor to hunt the last player who was a Ds player he had downed repeatedly but never picked up because again killer momentum is lost. They tracked em down and hooked him as he was waiting by the hatch not bothering with gens for the second half of the game.

This is important to note as these players are a dime a dozen in high ranks and pretending their is nothing we can do about this perk is just gerrymandering. Things can be done an incentive to pick up the survivor a forced no mither state or a hook state immediately lost when Dsing. Perhaps the survivour will become moriable immediately after using ds now that's an incentive. Perks like ds need to have heavy consequences so the perk can balance its insanely powerful nature.
I mean EVERY SINGLE update in the game has been killer buffs and survivor nerfs. In the beginning, I will agree survivors were overpowered, especially before bloodlust. Although with each killer buff patch, how many more can we get before killers become extremely OP? Just personal taste but I never found him annoying since the day I started playing this game and mained him.

He isn't overly loud and obnoxious like every female in the game is.

Meg is the embodiment of ugly Survivor. 8-)

How could you say such a thing?! Just kidding

Meg has a pretty face in my opinion, better than all the girls except Kate.

Jake annoying little whining and moaning is cringeworthy. Bill and Dwight make the most realistic cries of pain.
  • Camping when all gens are done is fine but you still have a chance to secure a kill AND the game if you patrol gens. You’re throwing away your game and you’ll de-pip you camp when there is 2 gens left.

yeah. there really are better games BUT this one is so original and has the potential to be everything i ever wanted from a game.... blood, gore, fatalities and strategy with a healthy does of horror.... when they finally succeed in making killers scary, it'll be perfect....

What do you mean by scary? No veteran DBD player is going to be scared of the killers because they’re used to the game. Every horror game fades in it’s scariness after a while. Every once in a while you have a heart pumping encounter with a good killer but the game isn’t going to be scary to somebody used to the mechanics of the game. It’s like watching Halloween for the 54th time. You know ALL about it, how could you possibly be scared?

Noed doesn't gaurantee and can be worked around, negated before it comes in. I see what you mean though, certain killers like freddy can fully utilize noed and with everyone asleep with class photo and remember me stacks, makes for an end game sweep. Also, what makes survivor perks and add ons strong is that there can be 4 of them. Oe d strike isn't that bad. I play both sides equally.
If there was a way for their to be only one D-strike then I’d be all for it but it wouldn’t be fair to any of the survivors who didn’t get picked to be the obsession, they would lose a perk slot.

Honestly I can never flashlight the killer, I’ve tried and always failed so I’ve given up on flashlights.

Toxic survivors of course will always be apart of the game sadly.

Let me tell you about toxic killers...you won’t run into them a lot but you will have killers who will face camp you while the other survivors are doing generators and they all open the door and escape while you where tunneled and sat on the hook. Then the killer messages you like “Denied bloodpoints.” or as you said “Fun game huh?.” Because they are triggered by another player that was playing the same character as you so the tunnel you for no reason just because they wanna kill the character that teabagged them even though they aren’t the same player. Then you look at the end screen and see that YOU got more bloodpoints then the killer did but they sacrified their own game to make yours miserable.

Toxic survivors are in more abundance but let’s not pretend people can’t get burned out by constantly dying as survivor due to toxic face campers who whack you over and over again like an idiot when you are on the hook.

BS so crutch, this 20% faster breaking pallets XDDD

You made my day. Play killer, biased survivor, make it to the high ranks, and you will be there asking for forgiveness.

There are crutch perks on both ends. Okay, maybe brutal strength isn’t crutch...I’ll admit that. BBQ and NC could be considered crutch however.

I don’t LIKE playing killer. Never been good at it. Not because of the so called “crutch perks” that survivors use, just because I’m never good at killing. Wasn’t great at Jason on F13, not the greatest on DBD. Why play killer when I’m better at survivor? Doesn’t make sense.
Had to repost that, nursee and bbq crutch? You rarely play killer enough to know time is not on the killer's side in anygame unless they have ruin and dying light active super early for some reason. I'm a survivor main, bbq and nurses can be countered easily with map awareness, a killer cant counter dstrike, only the clown with gas/enduring. Many people use bbq to lose the killer and waste the killer's time. Only nurse n billy uses it to great effect.
They are aura reading. If you have to know where the survivors are on the map then it is a crutch, point blank and the period. It gives you a CLEAR indication of where they are and without it you may not have found them. I’m not saying anyone who uses it is a bad player (like people claim with decisive strike) but I’m saying that if you really have to have an aura reading perk or add on it is a crutch. Sure, time isn’t on the killers side and you sometimes HAVE to use aura reading perks/add ons to get a 4K, still doesn’t take away the fact that it is a crutch.
More than playing with a ninja Claudette?
Aura reading perks and add ons such as Nurses Calling, Amanda Letter, Scratched/Vanity Mirror, and the Wraith’s aura reading add on (forgot what it was called) directly counteract any sort of “ninja Claudette” as her outline is going to be in BRIGHT red. They are supposed to be killers not the Terminator. People play Claudette because she is easiest to rank up with because she is a wall licker. Would you rather play Feng in bright clothes or immersive Claudette? Should be an obvious choice. If ANYBODY say they’ve never hid from the killer playing Claudette in dark clothes then they are a damn liar. If that is a “crutch” then everybody has used that crutch.
Let's not mention how rare amandas letter and vanities is, let's mot mention how they come with some great costs, let's not mention how they're add ons which get used up and doesn't have an infinite supply of, let's not mention most smart survivors wouldn't heal in the killer's terror radius and bbq and chilli can be played around as not queen said herself that smart survivors not noobs use that perk to lose the killer and waste the killers time. Her outline isn't always bright red cause people cannot always pack those addons because they tend to weaken the killer. Myers tier 1 the whole match on a map that isn't the game or lerys, what could go wrong with that? Hmmmm lol. Ninja claudette isn't a crutch, your points are just invalid as they are used rarely. Even the wraith add on, wraith is low tier so unless it's camp meme noed wraith, and they probably run the ultra rare for a speed boost anyway as that helps with chases, these counters you provide to stealth are very weak. The new bitter mumor I'll give you that. The add ons and such? You must not play killer much to know the extra tracking sometimes is damning. Often is damning actually.
Good lord...a perk with a one time use is such a big deal. I’m sick of talking about decisive already, we have different opinions leave it as that. It’s not that big of a deal ESPECIALLY now it is getting reworked, just beating a dead horse at the moment. Believe what you want and I’ll believe what I want.

Out of ALL of them (Tru3Ta1ent rarely plays survivor as it is) the only two that run Decisive reguarly is No0b3 and OchiDo and only ONE is really actually a toxic player.

I believe that the Entity would put survivors into trials with killers that counter them.

I believe Dwight and Leatherface are put together as despite both of them being nervous they fulfill their roles. That and Bubba's Chainsaw destroys clusters of survivors, (that Dwight creates.)

I'd see Meg and Trapper together as Meg is known for being a runner and bear traps counter sprint burst hard. That and Meg's lore involves running into some woods, perhaps Shelter Woods?

Jake I would put with Wraith as the Wraith's tracking perkss trump Jake's evasion perks.

Claudette I would put with Hillbilly as a successful saw blade hit can deny a Self-Care before it starts.

The rest of the survivors are paired with their respective chapter buddies as they all pair together well. Remember, the Entity wants the survivors to have hope so that it can consume it. Therefore the Entity would want to pair up survivors with opponents that they could potentially overcome, but not always overcome.
Not sure about Meg. I always paired her with the Hillbilly since they both have a sprint burst (Billy’s chainsaw sprint).

Want to stop killers from camping? Buff BBQ and make devour hope a normal perk.

    Killers won't camp anymore.

Making devour hope a normal non hex perk is a bit to strong
Its a trade off as a hex but killers who can down a surv fast would abuse it without surv begin able to disable it . u just need to hang 3 ppl n they are already exposed so if u would want that if would need to be reworked .
But since its honestly a good perk i don't think it would be needed

You mean like survivors abusing fast gen repair times or doing only 2 gens and then escaping via the hatch?

Survivors have one goal. Fix generators. Gen rushing shouldn’t even be an issue. It is like saying “You did your objective too fast so I’m mad because I couldn’t do my objective”. Killer have one objective, to kill. I’m not gonna complain if the killer “kills everybody too fast”. ALL the survivors are supposed to do is fix generators. Why is gen rushing such a big deal when it is the ONE thing they are supposed to do?

I mean...survivors have to have a way of escape. Are you saying that if the killer kills everybody and only two gens are done the one survivor left is supposed to fix all three and escape? Impossible. I once was the last one left with five gens and I fixed two and escaped via the hatch. I know I earned that escape because I did my job as a survivor. It’s such a shame when survivors actually do their objective and escape they are accused of being toxic even when they don’t teabag or flicker their flashlight at a killer. Yeah I guess I’m supposed to slow the game down and not gen rush to make the killer happy. Please.
  • That would be awesome. Honestly Trapper and Wraith can have any of the three or four default chase musics. One of the chase musics does sound similar to the Saw theme song, don’t know which one it is.

I’m for sure on board with every killer having their own unique chase music.
  • Ehhh....third best? I’m assuming you mean that Nurse and Billy are one and two? I’d still put Myers, Doctor, and Huntress above the Clown. The Clown is good no doubt but third best? Nah. He is mid-tier. Maybe I say that because I’m not great with long range attacks. Clown is good because he is one of the killer who can have an instant down. One of his ultra rare add-ons can insta-down a survivor. I’d put him at #6 or #7 right above or below The Pig.

I see DS for survivors the same way I see any "Insta down" ability/ addon/ perk for the killer. As killer, it guarantees a down but does not promise a kill... DS guarantees a drop if the skillcheck is hit but doesn't promise an escape.

Its what the opposing side makes of the situation after these are implemented that says something about their skills. For me, what defines a skilled player is their adapabilty and ability to have the match end in their favor regardless of what the other side brings to the game. I play both sides tho so before I complain I look at and compare what both sides have and base my opinion on that before seeing it as a valid complaint or just a salty one

Difference is, killers don't disconnect the moment the get hit by DS.
They do the moment you break their NOED totem...it’s happened to me about 5 times in the past week.
  • For killers I have the most sympathy for Huntress and Wraith. The Huntress has a sad story, watching her own mother die in front of her eyes. The Wraith is a simple good guy gone bad type deal. Maybe put the Hag into the sympathy list as well. I have the LEAST sympathy for Myers and Doctor. Myers has always been evil and The Doctor went psycho. Amanda is a psycho ######### as well.

For survivors it is for sure Meg and Feng. Those are the two that don’t deserve the punishment. Meg is simply looking after her ill mother, pretty much giving up a future to care for her, sad situation. Dwight, Kate, and Claudette I’d also say are the more “good” of the survivors. Dwight is a spineless doormat and Claudette is just shy (ya know when she isn’t flashlighting and teabagging on the other side of the pallet). Kate is a wrong place wrong time type of deal. Least sympathy is David for sure, he’s just a douche.
  • Definitely not a licensed one, since we've got two in a row before The Clown. So, we're just gonna have to throw a dart through the dark to try and hit the dartboard, and guess what kind of content they would make.
I'm thinking some sort of cyborg; we haven't had anything very mechanical yet except maybe the RBT, but since Killers have to have been human at one point we can't go full-on robot. So cyborg it is. They might have something involving Generators.

Hasn’t it been three in a row? Leatherface in September, Freddy in November, then the Pig in January?
  • From easiest to most difficult least for me anyway

    1) Nea ( good perks and good power. honestly if you lose and don't get the achievement you're bad at the game and should uninstall)

    2) Bubba ( Barbecue and chili and knockout help a lot, Franklin's is situational but it is nice. he's very meh when it comes to his power, a bit to add on reliant but as long as you have decent charge time reduction add-ons you should be fine)

    3) Hillbilly ( Enduring and Tinkerer help as for lightborn same thing as Franklin's. Good map control an overall very nice power)

    4) Clown ( Bamboozle and pop goes the weasel shortens the chase and really shuts down progression respectively. His power already helps out in the chase so you shouldn't have any problems)

    5) Doctor ( good power. Overcharge is amazing and his best perk, overwhelming presence really isn't going to do much other than hurt flashlights and monitor and abuse is just average but let's be honest you're playing the doctor so likelihood is you got this achievement four people disconnected)

6)Trapper ( His powers really average and perks to help shave off a couple of seconds of your time wasting but unnerving presence sucks)

    7) Myers ( Honestly just play him normally, most of the time you want to try to get dying light off as early as possible and kind of just screw other two perks)

    8) Freddy ( honestly there's nothing else I can say other than just shoot for end game, the more survivors you can get rid of before that point the better but just trying to get if you want to sleep by end game)

9)Amanda ( she's not a terrible killer her powers are decent but weak honestly just hope for a lack of Sprint burst and potato survivors. Make your choices the only perk you can really count on the other perks; hangman's trick is too situational unless you happen to bump into sabo squad. Surveillance I've stated this multiple times but great concert the time limit screws it over not going to help you out)

    10) Wraith ( just use the wind storm Swift Hunt combo as for its perks bloodhound is decent if you want to save some time but with the Windstorm Swift Hunt combo you can pretty much just continuously go in and out of invisibility. shadowborn is just really meh makes it easier to keep track of survivors and helps with spotting them. Predator probably not going to really help you that much)

    11) Nurse ( I'm on console that's all I really have to say about that)

    12) Huntress ( once again on console and hiromi good perk is lullaby and that's a hex perk with notifications that don't need to be there so you could pretty much tell how the match is gonna go)

    13) Hag ( her powers is easily avoided, and as for her perks always assume you're running perkless it helps with the disappointment when they destroy your totems or at least hope when they destroy your poor totems the only one you have left isn't third seal)

I’m also on console and playing Nurse is HELL. This is pretty much how I feel on the list. I’d maybe put Myers and little farther up and Leatherface a few spots down. Maybe just because I’m a Myers main and I’ve never had a good time playing Leatherface. Amanda is pretty good as well, everytime I go against a Pig I hate it...she is my least favorite killer to go against.

Nea is a really great killer, it is so easy to achieve.
  • Honestly her movement speed is a de-buff enough. If ANYTHING I feel like her movement speed should be the same as Myers in EW I (104%). Nurse moves ridiculously slow, especially if you aren’t used to the blinks.
  • If we are being honest it really just depends on what Totem they have, I could see a killer defending devour hope, noed or debatably huntress depending on the amount of tokens.
Can’t really see a killer defending a NOED totem seeing how it is already end game and they are too busy trying to down survivors. Although they get real angry when you do cleanse them. One time on Autohaven I fixed the last generator and the NOED totem spawned right beside the generator. I cleansed it not even 20 seconds after it spawned. Needless to say, Hillbilly was done with us and he quit.

I see killers defending Ruin and Devour Hope more than anything. Huntress Lullaby isn’t that big of a deal until it gets to around 3 stacks, then you gotta find that totem.
  • @MegMain98

i agree the toxicity can come from both sides. i've seen facecamping killers and extreme tunnelers.... i've even talked to a few. they all say the same thing - tilted by toxic survivors.... i've dealt with tons of toxic survivors too. and when i ask why they choose to behave such, they (the ones that bother responding) say 'just because they can'. i'm not laying the blame entirely on anyone. killer nor survivor. BUT i think if survivors waited to see if a killer was actually toxic before treating him as such, the game would eventually clear up and become alot more fun for everybody.... i play for fun. its a way for me to relax. i'm ok with losing too.... but poor treatment simply because i'm a NECESSARY ELEMENT and KEY COMPONENT in order to even play the game at all.... well.... thats intolerable....

Of course...that is true, there are so many survivors who are extremely toxic because they want to ruin the experience for everybody involved in the game. Trust me, I know killers get the most of the toxicity but there have been moments when your fellow “teammates” will body block you into corners, teabag your body and not heal you, and leave you on the hook and flicker their flashlight. There have even been moments when the survivor managed to get into a killers lobby and it just so happened to be his friend and the killer kills everybody and they just screw around and do whatever they want.

I truly am sorry that there are so many toxic survivor mains out there. I play to have fun, whether I die or not if I had fun that is all that matters. If you have a round as killer and you manage to kill 2 or 3, if you had a good round don’t worry about the other two that escaped. Honestly a break is well needed at times with a game like this.

  • I’m sorry I can’t give you tips because I’m also awful with the Nurse. I play on PS4 as well, but what exactly is the difference between PC and PS4 when it comes to blinks?
  • Yeah I hate the evader emblem because you HAVE to at least be in a chase with the killer once or twice to get the silver emblem. Why is it even called EVADER if you can go unnoticed and not get at LEAST a silver.

I hate playing as Leatherface. I always have a miserable time with him and so I started doing only dailies but then that was miserable. So I stopped playing as him and delete his dailies everytime I see them.

Only him... Everyone else is fine.
That’s sorta how I feel too. I hate playing Leatherface, he is one of the most boring killers and he has little map control. The ONLY thing he has going for him is that he can knock down multiple survivors at once, but unless you’re actively putting survivors in the basement it won’t work most of the time. I delete his daily rituals as well, I’d rather play Freddy and Wraith than Leatherface.

It took the pressure off the survivors. Killers are the only ones which feel pressured in a horror game.
    This needs to change.

Pressure can be added in the chase itself, it doesn't need to be added on the hook. To be fair, camping is sort of cheesy so making it a risky play is the best way to balance it out.

It's still viable against most survivors - their own greed and misplaced empathy works against them more often than not.

Camping is as much as fun (or as cheesy) as running in circles.

Putting pressure into chases is much more viable than camping. Shaving down time on the hook is only gonna make killers camp more. If the killer chases one survivor for 5 gens then oh well...you gotta patrol gens and not waste your time on one survivor
  • Nurse for three reasons...one I am looking at the ground 70% of the round, two her wheezing is SUPER annoying, and three I’m not skilled with her

    Trapper is hella boring

Wraith is okay against low rank survivors but in high ranks that is a big no-no

Everything about Leatherface pisses me off. He is made to be a camper, he walks like he has something up his ass, and his character model isn’t even based off of the FIRST Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Why play Leatherface when Hillbilly is much better?

I’m not good at long range attacks so Clown and Huntress are off the table. Huntress more-so than Clown since the Clown is a lot faster.

    Simple solution to reduce camping:
Cut the overall time on the hook by half.
This way, survivors would feel pressured instead of the killer.
That’s probably one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard. Your toxic teammates already let you sit on the hook until the END of struggle phase and don’t attempt to help until the VERY LAST second. The survivors aren’t going to feel pressured, they just aren’t going to save you and MORE than likely you’ll either die on the first hook or get to the end of struggle phase and almost die but get instantly knocked back down due to a campy killer. The timing now is pretty spot on. That’s nothing but a killer buff and would shave down time on a match, this thread was about reducing killers camping. We’ve all been camped but there isn’t much you can do about it rather than hope you get a killer who doesn’t camp you and hit you over and over again while you are on the hook like a moron.
  • Ehh...I mean I’m not good with the Nurse, actually I’m terrible with her. Her fatigue is enough to make me not want to play her. Because she has a VERY high skill cap, if you manage to become skilled with her then you deserve to have all that she comes with. I cannot count how many baby Nurses that I’ve played with before, people shouldn’t play Nurse at a high rank and expect to get a 4K if they are not skilled with her. Survivors can easily outrun a Nurse on foot so you can gain distance from her and attempt to juke her blink if you think she isn’t skilled. Not that hard of a killer to juke on foot if she isn’t skilled 🤷🏼‍♀️

You are not supposed to kobe when the killer stands in front of you

Well sometimes you don’t have a choice if he is camping or if your teammates aren’t coming to help you
  • I’m Rank 14 and it was HELL trying to just get past Rank 15-18. I swear there is so many dumbasses on low ranks.
