Bloody coil baseline
-
"I guess you're all the kids trying to be try hard like all the ######### let's players."
The irony of that statement...
-
Bit of desync issues, but other than that it's fine.
Australia btw
-
Certain add-ons and overdependent on Iron Will as a counter make her above average for me.
At least she still obeys game mechanics.
-
How did the team go with altruism? Cause it looks like one guy got unhooked and immediately downed.
Btw I hate the survivor emblems.
-
No add-ons means you'll have a closer understanding of how the killers power works at base level.
With add-ons you can improve certain aspects of a killers power you feel are lacking. It's basically a boost.
Just run whatever you want really.
-
It used to be Billy and Nurse.
At least Spirit is still somewhat fresh. But god it gets old quick.
-
It's okay just try and get 6666 likes.
-
If they figured out how to make Chucky work in this game that'll be great.
-
Spirit
-
Walking Dead with no zombies?
pft... okay.
-
Why would you not track with blood?
Blood is more precise than scratch marks.
-
Not for new players. However for veterans, yes.

Lol that was not my point go back and read.
Okay.
- insta heals r bad mkay?
- changing the rarity means your less likely to find it
- ranting about calling an idea thoughtless
Sounds about right?

I don’t need an excuse you provide all the bull I need to make my point.
Your entire point was Prayer Beads shouldn't get reworked because of Ultra Insta-heals.

Ok fine you win, let’s just keep Prayers beads as very rare :)
Have fun playing against more Prayer Beads.
Have fun trying to excuse bullshit.

Lol iridescent syringe is bull too but I don’t mind seen it cause it’s an iridescent and ultra rare.
Prayers Beads being made iridescent or ultra rare would decrease their availability and by default less used. Therefore a compromise for both killers and survivors.
It is not a thoughtless idea. A thoughtless idea is one that demands change but offers no tangible or constructive feedback aka your post.
There are 3 Ultra Rares killers might get in their bloodweb compared to the 8 Very Rare available.
Decrease their availability my ass.
-
Freddy. Like I always have.
-
Use DS. Problem solved.
-
The only reason I'm red is because of an upcoming tournament and I'm practising for a team.

sorry I'm not sure about what you're saying
I think he said there's counter play to spirit because some killers in a forum said so.

I think because they think it will work. I don't. I personally don't notice a difference while playing against spirit if they are using prayer beads or not. So i don't care either way take it, nerf it, or leave it. I was a Spirit main until i started using Myers. Never used prayer beads however.
The one thing I really can't stand hearing is the collision bit. Please don't remove it! The repercussions could result in Nurse 2.0 and no one wants that.
Yeah, just imagine Spirit phasing through you and blocking pallets and windows with that no collision idea.
No thanks. I already can't stand one killer.
-
Changing the rarity of an add-on doesn't make the add-on less bullshit.
Why do people keep suggesting this thoughtless idea?
-
Used to. Not anymore. Rather scalped myself than touch that ever again.
-
Don't like how it took them 3 years to realise most of their maps are garbage.
-
Legion is decent with the thana, butcher and dying light combo.
Bubba is only decent for breaking pallets and insidous.
-
Hag is literally falling apart. No one else got ######### on that.
-
I would've pick 'don't care', but this seemed closer.

You haven't really given any real explanation as to why it's a buff?..... the one range addon got a drawback to it and rightfully so, why haven't you mentioned that? I hope they don't make her easier to play because the amazing thing about her is the reward that she gives for learning her.... if this is all about the one very rare to common then you're being silly........ players will still when they take the training wheel off.
I didn't mention it because it's hasn't been changed much. At all.
You just charge longer. That's it. It's the same add-on just with a more noticeable yet minor downside.

It isn't a buff. If players start using plaid flannel they'll have one less add-on spot for something else. Nurses who also learn to play with plaid flannel will have a hard time playing without it meaning there will be less nurses using actually good add-ons (if there are any left after the rework).
TBF thats not really a downside considering Nurse only had a couple of add-ons worth running in the first place.

She desperately needed an addon improvement... she was one of the few killers that still had wording that didnt really make sense and a lot of the addons hindered her performance more then help.... which unless you gain more BP like the speed limiter chainsaw does.... why would you wanna hinder your own performance.... that doesnt make sense....
Just because a character is strong and challenges oppenent doesnt mean they need nerf.... it means the competition needs to adapt and get better if their struggling
... Are you saying that the strongest killer in the game needed these buff without ANY nerfs to compensate that she'll become easier to play?

Not if it's not changing the in-game properties of the add-on itself.
What are you more likely to come across in your bloodweb?
A common or an Ultra?
-
@ABannedCat said:
Seriously, all they need to do is nerf/remove range and additional blink add-ons, make Plaid Fannel a common add-on, and fix the descriptions (White Nit Comb for example affects charge speed, not blink speed).
5 minute job for any half-decent programmer.
I agree with this. Do actual changes, don't just buff her.

Yeah...no.
More people playing the character doesn't make the character stronger.
If tomorrow everyone turned into a legion main, legion wouldn't be more powerful
A character popularity doesn't make her stronger.
Making her easier to play does.

There was no reason for Plaid Flannel to be very rare. It's training wheels that you only unlock after you're already good at nurse and don't need it. Only bad Nurse players are gonna use it and even then it won't make them good. Doctor has the same thing for his power as well and it doesn't seem to be a problem.
If you're already good at nurse you're not getting a buff. It just makes it slightly easier to get a grip on her blinks.
Of course there no reason for it.
There's also no reason to buff Nurse.
Which is my concern with these changes.
-
@TAG said:

No, I don't. Within the span of two replies, you brought up the add-on rarity change as though it were a bad thing (it's not) and then immediately rejected any concern you had about that fact.
I literally said I wouldn't care about the rarity if they nerf her basekit.
-

When you think addons buff a killer.... oh FFS.
I don't see any other killer using her add-ons do you?
-
@Alice_pbg said:

So...help me out here...
How is more people potentially playing a character... a buff?
If a character known to be hard to play, gets a improvement for new players to play her better, it's a buff.
Because now she'll be noob friendly.
@justarandy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/728865#Comment_728865
You need to take a dictionary and understand the word BUFF.
That addon is just a QoL change. Nurse will not become stronger as she already is. Give these addons the best Nurse main and he will perform the same like without it. This means it's NOT A BUFF.
You need to understand that the one thing a Nurse didn't need was an add-on IMPROVEMENT.
They literally made one of the strongest killer easier to play as thanks to how common this add-on is going to be.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/728878#Comment_728878
If you don't care, why did you mention it?
... Because she's the strongest killer in the game?
For 3 years?
Without add-ons?
And now her add-ons are becoming useful?
The one thing she didn't need?
You follow?
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/728842#Comment_728842
Plaid Flannel absolutely deserves to be a common. Anyone who's not a bad Nurse doesn't need it. Meanwhile, players like me would appreciate the training wheels. :P
I don't care that it is common, I care that she's not getting nerfed while getting these buffs.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/728842#Comment_728842
It's still a very situational addon. Probably never gonna be the meta.
What is wrong with making the training wheels addon a common?
Whats the one thing Nurse players have a problem with when playing as Nurse?
Understanding how their blinks work.
What does this add-on do? Help them understand their blinks.
It's going to make Nurse more friendly for new players which is one of the main reason players avoided using her in the first place.
Basically - it buffs a killer that didn't need buffs.
-
@PolarBear said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/728803#Comment_728803
The add-on probably won't change much and will rarely be useful during the match. You also need a blink charge for it so even less useful.
They gave her an undo button that's not even one of her ultra rare add-ons and made blinks easier to use for new players by making the indicator a common.
You don't buff the obvious strongest character in the game without some nerfs to compensate for her new strengths. That much should be clear.
-
@Yung_Slug said:
I'm not sure if it'll be used, as I can only see it being useful if you accidentally get trapped in the basement or when someone unhooks right after you blink away, but I like the idea of it and I hope she gets other add-ons that change her power in an interesting way like that.
Or survivors doubling back to avoid your first blink...
-
Wait times kills my motivation.
-
@Peanits said:
We did explicitly mention that the changes would primarily be to her add-ons. She will also be receiving some slight changes to her base kit. This was just a sneak peek at what's to come.
Nerf her basekit. According to the developer update, your dev team just basically gave her an 'undo' blink.
Nurse is one of the few killers in this game that DID NOT need a buff.
-
Use Thana and Dying Light. Helps slow the game down a ton if survivors stay sick and if they cleanse you get an incredible chase tool.
For green vomit you typically only want to do so until the survivor is broken. After that don't bother, it quickly becomes useless.
For red vomit, treat it like a slower huntress hatchet, that travels less and you have to lead you shots. You typically only want to use this vomit if you are chasing survivors into an area next to a corrupt fountain so you can save time.

Wouldn't Legion need 4 versions of Hallowed Blight?
Just Frank and Julie it. All the males and females share the same voice after all.

I wouldn't mind Pennywise but considering we already have a devote, babylon, follower of a sea-goat god why not spice it up with some bdsm?
-
They have the right to play the game as I do.
