Plague mains please help

How in the world do you play Plague? Plague, along with Clown was one of the few killers I never really spent time on. Now that Demo is here I'm trying to get her teachables, and I like to unlock teachables by grinding with that certain killer. Played a few matches and got destroyed. When is the appropriate time to use Corrupt Purge? When is the proper time to vomit in a jungle gym/loop? I'm just looking for some help on everything Plague.

  • Dont hit anyone unless their sick. If they get hurt by the sickness it doesnt give them the sprint burst.

Puking on gens, totems etc is smart when no ones sick because they either have to a) wait for the infection to go away b) get sick.

Puking on pallets if your getting looped can be a good idea. Shes fun to experiment with, but thanat is a great perk on her almost always

  • I'm not a plague main but in my opinion the best time to use Corrupt Purge is when 3/4 people are broken or you have a hooked survivor with gens nearby, so you just need to proxy camp him to defend the generators while you secure a kill/a hook stage.

Apple addons are very good too, use them when most of the survivors are broken and probably they will start to cleanse.

Remember that with the charged vomit you are 110% so you can still chase and release it when you have a clear shot. Charged Corrupt Purge is 115%.

  • Use Thana and Dying Light. Helps slow the game down a ton if survivors stay sick and if they cleanse you get an incredible chase tool.

For green vomit you typically only want to do so until the survivor is broken. After that don't bother, it quickly becomes useless.

For red vomit, treat it like a slower huntress hatchet, that travels less and you have to lead you shots. You typically only want to use this vomit if you are chasing survivors into an area next to a corrupt fountain so you can save time.

  • Vomit on everything, literally every gen and window near a gen. Get people sick and keep them sick as much as you can.

Run M&A if you have to to get some short chases once they’re broken.

If they do cleanse keep the pools until everyone’s sick again, so you can capitalise and get the most out of the corrupt purge.

Run dying light/thana to slow the game down as much as you can aswell. Plague is very underrated and can be viable at red ranks if played properly.

  • Plague is such a strong killer when you know how she works. First, you need to infect every survivor until the show begins. Maybe you will miss a time but it's fine. Second, you need to abandon the chase when it need it. Survivors are broken, so they will fight for their lives trying to loop her for days. She is tall, so is easily to gain visual information. When all of them become broken, they will suffer if you bring thanatophobia. They will suffer even more if you bring dying light because it's so slow to finish gens and they will have 2 options: give her a NOED during the match, wich is dangerous or give her true power wich is even more dangerous. She became a perma Myers T3 with projectiles. If you want to be more cruel, than bring the apple add on and eat them alive.

Well, that's how I play with her. I really like the combination surge + pop + thanato + dying light. Some perks like infectious fright, play with your food, enduring, spirity fury and bamboozle are also good on her. She's not perfect, like the other M1 killers, she suffer with big maps, doesn't have control and need to rely on infect the survivors as fast as she can. But she is dangerous, she can track people easily (she has a natural counter to iron will) and like everyone says, very underrated.
