Can't lose an argument if people never go against your initial point.
GG EZ indeed.
Your point: Hillbilly is OP, because anyone can pick him up and be good with him fast.
Looking at your history (as well as what I said to you), almost everyone has told you that's not the case, and why. Your response is always an elaborate version of "nuh uh". But keep on keeping on, man.

Skill floor vs. Skill celing. Or another eay to put it is 50 hours of Nurse or 5 in Hillbilly.
I have had this argument withtoo many people. There is nothing new you can say.
And by the looks of it, you've lost every time. GG I guess.
Anywho, back to the topic at hand, toxicity is all around. Not purely killer or survivor based.

That is not what I was arguing. I was saying that he shouldn't be so strong for how simple he is to play and pick up, and compared him to Spirit and Nurse.
Big difference that people, just like you, ignored entirely.
Yes, cause every new Billy player can do the Billy flick, and not be forced to M1 in loops. Sure.
And Clown is S tier. lol
-
A or B. Depends on who plays him. Some people are beastly with him, some are potato.

For your second part: you are right, but people won't accept that. Same thing happened in my thread "The Hillbilly Problem" where I detailed how he was such a problematic character with his current power level, and 75% of the comments were I'm just wrong, gut gud or borderline abuse.
You actually have a point, but people are so stuck in their own personal biases to even consider the points of others.
I don't think I saw that thread, but people probably called you wrong...because you were actually wrong. Hillbilly is far from overpowered. Addons maybe, but base kit no.

Yes, you are, thanks to the BS cooldown.
Like I said, you're not countering a good nurse by running in a straight line. If you get countered by that, you're not a good nurse. If you counter a nurse doing that, that nurse was not a good nurse.

Tell me how survivors are more toxic than killer. I genuinely want to know what you think on this matter, rather than you calling me out for bait or telling me I'm wrong for thinking this...
I'll stop calling you on for bait when you admit that at least part of you was trying to bait toxicity, and it backfired.
In any case, survivors are more toxic based purely on numbers. There's more of them. Therefore, there are more toxic survivors. Therefore, more toxicity.

Definitely more toxic in end game, but I'm talking about gameplay experience. Endgame you can just leave the lobby, when you're in the game, all you can really do is DC, but killers still get upset when survivors DC when they get mad, calling them entitled just because they actually want to have fun.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1074673#Comment_1074673
The reason I said that is because look at the comments, half of it is people either claiming its bait, or that my opinion is flat out wrong.
You might be able to get away with using the excuse "I said it cause look at the comments"...if you hadn't posted that before any comments happened. You were baiting people.
Baiting people is toxic. Popular opinion. :)

I'll make a vid later today and post it here when i can get some of my friends in kyf just to prove it :F
Please do. As killer, I block window techs all the time.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
It's not unpopular it's incorrect....well.....in post game chat at least it's 100% more toxic from survivors than from killer, in terms of in game actions it's usually more killers but the difference is not as huge.
Actually, mathematically, 400%. :)

It doesn't work like that, you window tech right before the animation ends when the killer losses collision so even if they just stand at the vault it will still work.
No, it doesn't work like that. Like @drimmalor said, if you stand still, it can't be done. It's the movement.
I believe Myers can be tech'd no matter what, but other killers, no.
-
You might get away with saying "it's not a bait thread", if you hadn't replied to your own thread with "let the hate comments begin...".

Lmao. Your "best killer in the game" gets countered by just running in a straight line. Not even the Legion is that bad.
You're not countering a good nurse by running in a straight line.
-
@drimmalor said:
If the killer doesn't move away from the window, it won't work. I've blocked many survivors trying to do this by standing still after the vault.
This exactly. The reason "window tech" works is because newbie killers tend to vault a window, and walk forward (even just a hair forward), allowing the survivor to tech them. A good killer won't fall for it more than once a game, if at all.
-
@Auron471 said:
How do i window tek? Whenever i do it, i just collide with the killer's hitbox and then they smack me. I cant phase through them like how im supposed to? what part of the vaulting animation causes the killer to lose their hitbox?
Not all killers will fall for it. It's actually really easy to counter.

Borrowed time is dependent on your teammates, and on the terror radius.
DS is locked behind a paywall. (Or waiting for RNG-esus blessing you with it in the shrine)
DS has been on the shrine 984954849584589 times. It's actually fairly common...and honestly...if you own DBD and not the MYERS DLC, you're doing it wrong.
-
DS exists. As does Borrowed time and a plethora of others. Another second chance isn't needed.

Who's a better "best casting choice in bad movie?"
Willem Dafoe as Ryuk or John Goodman as Fred Flinstone?
OOF.
That's a tough one. Hard to choose. I think Death Note edges out the Flintstones just based on the fact that they cast Rosie O'Donnel as Betty...but then again, Rick Moranis as Barney was great as well..well #########...
I don't like these difficult questions...
-
That movie was an abomination.
The ONLY good part was they cast the voice of Ryuk PERFECTLY. Everything else was a horses ass.

@Wesker said:
Hillbilly is OP? Yes, if you run in a straight line whilst he is rushing at you is OP as #########, but our boosted Kate main @ClickyClicky is one of that survivors which don't even realize when he is rushing to a generator and she get instantly crushed and stuck into the ground. I would stop listening a single word said by this guy if I were you and start actually looking at how much killers are underperforming after 3 or 4 patch-nerfs in few months. Most of them need reworks, others are balanced like the Hillbilly and don't need anything.. still others are a bit weak but still fun to play due their playstile (Doctor, Trapper, Clown) and Noed helps them against solid teams. Myers is in a mid way between weak and balanced becouse he has in-build Noed at least.
OOF.

Oh yes...telling someone just stop with an eye roll emoji is always a fine example of someone looking to have a civil discussion lol.
You acknowledged the criticism by telling him survivors call you a camper whenever you load DBD and choose killer....I’m gonna say that’s just a little bit different than acknowledging that he actually does camp...no? No difference?
And how does him actually being a camper not matter? He asked why he’s being called a camper! 😂
I didn't say it didn't matter. What I said was, it didn't make any of the original statements untrue, and gave reasoning.
-
Definitely Bill.
After 'nam, and the zombie apocalypse, and watching his family get eaten alive...plus, imagine his arthritis. Poor guy.
-
In terms of balance, and I know a lot of people will disagree - Hawkins. Or new Lery's. They both have a lot of pallets, but not a ton of safe ones. They can all be mind gamed and faked out, and it's just up to who the better play is between the killer vs. the survivor they are chasing to who capitalizes. I actually like them both as survivor as well.
-
Laurie.
-
Most survivor mains wouldn't be able to handle killer.
-
Freddy. Gotta sleep sometime.
Of the non-dream killers though? Realistically? Oni.
Also, unpopular opinion: If this battle happened, Pig, Myers, Ghostface, Clown, Huntress and probably even Leatherface would be the first ones to die.
-
Bill. Because he's Bill. Don't really have a female main, but I've been giving thought to Kate or Yui.

Lol ok. Nice dodge.
Dodging doesn't mean what you think it means. It can't be a dodge if I specifically counter your point.
But okay.

@brokedownpalace said:
I like how the OP blatantly describes camping behavior and everyone is saying "you're called camper because you're playing killer."
No, you're being called camper because you are literally camping. If you are protecting a hooked survivor or searching in the immediate area looking for unhookers and never straying too far from the hook then you are camping.
Play the game however you want but I'm not sure why you'd be shocked that you get trash talk when you use unfun tactics.
None of the posts are incorrect though. Survivors, you'll find, will call anything camping.
-
@Deadeye said:
It says "hook 5 survivors in a single trial"
The emblem said I hooked 9 or more survivors in that trial. Challenge not finished. What's up?
You have to hook 5 different survivors. Plot twist - you have to hook yourself, too.

I don't deny the existence of unbalanced maps, but they don't change the power of moris. I think keys also need adjustment.
The power of them is one thing. Whether they get used or not is another, and that's the point. The assertion that they are this super common, be all end all harbinger of doom is false. Killers don't really use them, so they aren't a big epidemic. Keys on the other hand are present in a pretty high percentage (at least for me) of games since the EGC was implemented.
If you want to talk about the "power of mori's", don't forget to list their weaknesses. You can mori all 4 survivors, and you get about as much as they do for it. A big fat nothing.
-
@DwightOP said:
The only purpose of insidious is to piss of players. U can't pull out anything with this perk besides hardcore camping.
I've actually used Insidious during chases. Granted, it's not the optimal use of it, but it can be done. Besides, if a player gets pissed off about something, that's their problem.

I was also asking for clown builds.
The best things you can do for Clown are chase builds, or gen slowdown builds.
The most success I've had with him is the classic slug build.
Knockout, Sloppy, Thana and perhaps BBQ or another tracking perk.
-
Camping is not toxic, or dishonorable. It's a legitimate play style. Even the devs say so.
-
First of all, you get called a camper because when you loaded up DBD, you chose "Killer" from the main menu.
Secondly, stop caring what other people think. Turn off end game chat and go to town.

Oh yea sorry I forgot about the immense skill required to hook a survivor.
It might not take immense skill to catch you as a survivor, but there actually good survivors out there, and unbalanced maps, with an endless amount of pallets and loops. Stop being so one sided.
Besides, most killers have hoards and hoards of mori's because they don't use them.

You should really give it some thought. You guys go on and on about making it more accessible for new players. Nothing scares new players away more than an excessive grind. At least remove the requirement to get teachables.

Hillbilly is OP now? L, to the O, and even more L.
I'll let my dude Mcote speak for me here:

On the contrary - maybe keys should only be available from chests, and not the blood web? Would make them significantly more rare.

How was freddy nerfed when he came out? I didnt play back then.
Well, when Freddy came out, he was already pretty mediocre. Different, which was cool, but as a killer with potential to kill, he was really bad.
Literally hours after he came out, survivors were whining about him, and he got nerfed.

Maps. No contest. Fixing map balance would in turn remedy things like matchmaking.

Pretty sure LF Chainsaw beats out Borrowed Time, MOM, etc due to its 2x successive hits.
Pretty sure me actually making saves with a fully revved face camping LF using BT and Mettle/Styptic shows that it can be done.
