Moris tend to punish killers rank wise cause it doesn't count as a sacrifice(for obvious reasons). So, there is little incentive to use it.

I don't mean to sound rude when I'm saying this, but I know the vaulting system. I understand certain stuns are intended, but I'm complaining about the huge lunge killers have. I'm tired of doing so well at looping and then being taken down because of the killers long lunge. It takes no skill to get a survivor down with the lunge killers have if they have any clue what their doing.
Firstly, if you are doing well at looping, you're in absolutely zero position to even be close to going down.
Secondly - it's not the lunge you're upset about. The lunge is fine. It's the lag, which can never be completely remedied.

Why wouldnt it be a good idea let me hear why you think so? Its definitely an ongoing issue that would probably easier to do then reworking maps to make them more balanced. Although, thats a different subject, just want some balance is where im getting at as well.
The queues are already dead, and you can't punish people for playing with their friends.

I was speaking from my experience. The posts above mine were speaking about their experiences, so I spoke about mine.
I don’t know why you’re trying to turn this into something it isn’t. Until the devs put out official stats how the hell can anyone here answer the question factually? We can only give our experiences and try to draw a conclusion from there.
Okay there, bud.
Have a wonderful day! ❤️

Okay. Say you dodge that lobby. Say that every lobby this OoO or No Mither player joins dodges them. Wouldn't they get tired and change perks?
You're saying you would rather be surprised by the No Mither or OoO?
They shouldn't have to change perks; and yes, I'd rather just go into a game not knowing; because I actually know how to play the game, and enjoy adapting to a different experience from the last one.

I answered from my experience. I also said it depends on the day. Some days it can be at least a third of games, other days it can be none.
No - your original response was what is called a blanket statement. It simply said:
@ClickyClicky said:
Very common. Sometimes you turn the game on and can get 3 in a row.
You even followed it up with:
@ClickyClicky said:

Yes they’re very commonly used.
I dont use them unless its 3-4 toolboxes or a Squadette swf.
It wasn't until your third post, when more than one person said you were incorrect, that you backpedaled into your "from my experience" stance. You said something, people knew it was nonsense, and you backtracked.
Have a good day.

All you can really do is look at profiles, which I don't waste my time with. Other than that, you can never know until you're in game.

You're aware you can level up a character without ranking up, right? You can be rank 1 killer, put all your points into a survivor, and be a rank 20 with a full perk loadout.

All I said is that moris are common. I never specified rank.
I turn the game on and get hit with 3 mori games in a row. What do I care about which rank they are?
You said they were "very common" as a blanket statement. You didn't say "in your experience" or "in your gameplay". You said it as a catch-all for everyone without context.
Even still, if you're getting hit with 3 mori games in a row, that's bad luck. Unless you're going to just outright lie and say that happens all the time.

No it isn’t lol. In case you haven’t noticed EVERYONE is getting put against low rank killers right now.
It’s a common tell as to who doesn’t play the game when they assume red rank survivors don’t get put against low rank killers.
EU region btw so no idea how moris fare in other regions but here some nights they can be very common.
I don't believe I mentioned matchmaking. Nice strawman.
In terms of going against low rank killers, you literally only strengthened my argument. It's them bringing mori's.

It's more than improbable, lol. It's nonsensical. Unless, as I said, they are between ranks 13 and 20.
I don't think survivor mains truly appreciate how many mori's killer mains have accumulated over time, and how many of them go unused for various reasons - including because we know they are unfair.

It is true. Depends on the day. Some days its rare, some days its extremely common.
I mean, yeah, at yellow and brown ranks. Sure.
At green, purple and red ranks, they aren't really that common. At all. As other people have said, it's just not a thing. The whole "very common" argument is either you being facetious or just simply being in lower ranks. Fair enough either way, but you are incorrect, and that's all I'll say on the matter.

What? I'm reiterating what you said:
ANYBODY is a potato in their first game. You know how many bad Billy games I've had? One. The first one I ever played. The rest? Highly dominant 4k's.

I have verses Hillbillies like PC players have Nurses, and played him for a good while myself. It is through hours of observation that I have come to my conclusion, but you obviously don't care. You just want to cheese chainsaws and prove the OP's point.
Oh okay. So on their second game, they have fully learned how to use Billy and are god tier?

But no. You keep pushing that easy to dismiss narrative of he's OP.
You keep dismissing the fact that a new billy is an absolute potato, and is only decent against new survivors.
This is why you repeatedly lose this debate with other people.

Challenge based singleplayer game is completely different from fully multiplayer game that gas no such features.
You say "They'll keep going against better and better players", but you cant check that. If MMR is hidden, then you dont know if you or your opponents are getting stronger or not.
If we are talking about Dark Souls, then you could say lack of ranking is why multiplayer in it is such a mess, there is no way to know if your opponent is strong or not. In the end your worth is decided by number of gank squads/fight clubs you dominated lol
Of course it's all hypothetical, but I still believe ranks not being a thing would do the community well if done right. Whether BHVR are the ones that can do it or not...well, it remains to be seen.

Yes they’re very commonly used.
I dont use them unless its 3-4 toolboxes or a Squadette swf.
Come on now, we both know that's not true. 1 out of 10 games, maybe, I get a mori offering as a survivor at rank 1. How is that "very common".
-
They are extremely uncommon at any rank other than brown or yellow. The novelty of mori's wears off to any other rank killer, because they just want blood points etc which you get more of out of hooks and sacrifices. Even still, most killers in red/purple/green rank who bring a mori that I go against will do it after 2nd hook anyway.
This assertion that they are this all too common thing is complete nonsense. Most mori offerings go unused. If they were very common, people wouldn't have hundreds of them in their inventory.
I've brought one mori with me in the last...3 months of killer. It was last night, for the rancor challenge, and it was an ivory mori.

It doesnt work like that. Taking away rank will make people unable to improve themselves as a player, there will be nothing to judge them. 4k with Mori or escaping with a Key is going to have (seemeingly) the same value as fairly outplaying your oponents.
I get what your goal is, but you cant force people to play casual, it might work with surviviors, but its impossible for killers.
We will lose big part of killer playerbase and the ones remaining will either play toxic or will be just bad at the game.
I don't know about that. The ability to improve lies in the will to improve. By that logic, nobody would be able to do no-hit runs in Dark Souls; and there will be something there to judge them. They'll keep going against better and better players.

Please stop pretending that not tunneling prevents usage of DS.
In 60s Killer can down and hook even 3 other surviviors and then find the guy with DS, and in 60s survivior with DS can get fully healed, finish a 50% gen alone and then get caught in a Bear Trap...
Tunneling or not has nothing to do with DS, it gives you 60 seconds of unconditional immunity to being picked up. Paired with Unbreakable it turns into complete immunity for 60s
They all say the same thing, these ones. Over and over. Best not to engage.
-
I actually think contrarily. Ranks going is a great idea. It has the potential to alleviate a lot of the toxicity. A lot of people don't care about their rank; but for every person who doesn't, there's probably 2-3 people who do. That rank not being there could possibly make people less inclined to be mad, or toxic, when they die, because dying didn't cost them anything they already had.

Even on the safest map for survivors, more survivors die than escape.
The deadliest maps by contrast, are much more unsafe for survivors than the safe maps are safe for survivors.
Even BHVR said to take those stats with a grain of salt because many things were not taken into account. So stop using them as backing for an argument.

I don't get DS'd. You do. I think we know who knows what they're doing and who's just playing semantics now and thinking they're cute. It'd be funny if it wasn't pathetic.
Continue to harp on that one point though like a brainless parrot. And continue to be DS'd from playing as badly as one.
I never actually said I get DS'd. Putting words in my mouth now? :)
What I will say though, is I have been DS'd a few times here and there, and when it happens, I've usually already hooked 1-2 other people and come across that person again. So, how is this anti tunnel? How is this "guarding the hook"? Look up in the sky - see that thing floating away in the distance? That's your entire argument.
-
DS shouldn't work on grabs. Period.
It would solve a lot of issues. I have no desire to go after anyone right off the hook. But if someone else gets hooked during the EGC, and Mr. DS comes in with borrowed time and knows I can't down him, only grab, where he'll hit me with DS and they will both escape, and knows that I can't do anything about it, it's broken.

Are you illiterate? I said it's the "main reason" for DS to get activated. Not the sole one. But please, keep standing on that hill if you want to die there. That's fine.
If you get hit by DS, you ######### up. Period. It's entirely within your power to avoid. You forgot who you hooked and how long ago or you tunneled them like most skilless killers. Every DS to you should literally slap you in the face. Maybe then you'd learn to play around it like someone with a brain.
I don't think I'm illiterate. I managed to read the part where you said DS and guarding the hook are somehow related. Even though they aren't and have never been. You can gloss over it now and dodge like your life depends on it, like you're currently doing. What you originally said in response was to "Stop.Guarding.The Hook. Period". There was no "main reason" given in your original comment; and even still, your experience is not the same as everyone else's experience. Take a knee, bud.

And yet, it does. That's the only way BT ever activates and the main reason why someone gets DS'd.
If you never play survivor, you don't notice how the overwhelming majority of killers either camp the hook directly, or only go far enough away that they can return immediately(nurses, spirits, huntress, Billy, hag, etc).
Really? So I have to stay near the hook for DS to work?
*Totally has relation*.

I didn't say you were. I asked what are you doing wrong? Did you forget who you hooked and try to pull them out of a locker later?
If they run at you to try and force the DS, slug them and move on. That's their own stupid fault. However, you shouldn't have to worry about the perk in the overwhelming majority of games.
Don't blame the perk because you made a mistake. I find head-on infinitely more annoying.
You did say it though.
"Stop. Guarding. The. Hook. Period."

I love this. Complain about a perk that is 100% in your power to avoid. Get tips on how to avoid it. Then whine at the people telling you how to avoid it.
DS and BT are completely wasted perks against me in every game I play as killer. Neither one of them ever goes off. If they're going off on you, you need to see what you're doing wrong. Not me. Not the survivor. YOU.
I must be guarding the hook. That must be it. Cause DS and guarding the hook are totally related.

A few updates ago. Sure, that did happen, but it doesn't disprove that at one time, this person did run the game at an extremely high fps.
Before that update, I was running at 160+ FPS on a 6700k and a 980Ti. Which are 5 years old now.

Apparently you didn't read, because both the OP and myself said we play killer and never get DS'd.
Stop. Guarding. The. Hook. Period.
If you hook and move on, it doesn't matter if they come and save with DS. You're already on to the next survivor. They get a chance to heal and do something, you get more pressure by pushing another survivor off a gen. Win. Win. Win all around.
You all only have a problem with the perk because you play terribly and need to guard the hook for an easy down. Go get another survivor. There are four of them. The ones unhooking are not on gens. Don't ignore the ones in gens and then complain about gen rush and being DS'd by a perk specifically designed to stop your bad behavior. Just stop it. Play better. Don't get DS'd.
DS comes into play whether or not you guard the hook. Guarding the hook has literally nothing to do with it. If you actually played killer, you'd know that.
Imagine needing to insult someone because your argument is paper thin. Be civil, my dude.

I do play killer, quite a lot, and like I said, I don't get DSed a lot. It's because I don't tunnel. And if you do have to down the person with DS, then slug. If they have unbreakable, you get it out early. If survivors complain about slugging, then they're just wrong, know that and move on.
It has nothing to do with "not tunneling". The fact that I can hook someone, and then hook 2 other people, find the first person again (which isn't tunneling), and still get DS'd is broken. It needs to be a shorter time that freezes during chases and doesn't work during EGC. Boom, fixed.
-
I'd be fine if it simply deactivated during end game, and didn't apply to grabs.
Then it would actually be anti tunnel, and not something people could use to parade themselves around in front of the killer know there's dick all they can do about it.

"PeRkS tHaT cOunTeR mY pLaYstYLe iS oP"
You're spot on of why killers think DS and BT are op, because all they know is tunneling. I've played so much killer, and the only time I do get DSed is when I just want to eat it. If killers didn't tunnel, maybe their kill rate would go up???? Just a thought.
Except, DS hardly ever comes into play as "anti tunnel". If you played killer, you'd know this.
It's usually used as temporary invulnerability to go for a save you otherwise wouldn't be able to get, or to take protection hits knowing you can't be hooked. Most of the time, when someone has DS, they throw themselves at the killer. That's not tunneling.
