  • I'd give Legion his old vault speed and make the Broken status add-on basekit. Not that it'll matter much, since insta's will be gone, but it's better than letting heal if you lose them.

I'd like to bring back downing with Feral Frenzy, but sadly most survivors dont know how to handle it (how? I dont even know. it wasnt even that good and a massive time waster)

  • Oh, y'know, it's not like she was the strongest killer in the game with the most universally useful killer power.

Yeah, can't think of why they changed her. She totally didn't trivialize using half of the other killer roster, the ones that don't have an extremely powerful traversal tool that goes through walls and pallets.

Look, i play killer too, and pulling a Legion would be crappy, but Nurse's power isn't Legions, not even close. Let's be realistic, Nurse's power will still be nearly unbeatable in comparison to other killer powers.

  • The more separated survivors are, the more work the killer has to do.

Why do you think 3-gen strats are hyper effective? the survivors are forced to be next to each other, and the killer knows about it.

Sure, the first gen wont pop as quickly if you're apart, but the consequences if you dont finish that gen before the killer arrives is pretty not worth the effort you put in. The killer would just hook you next to the gen, and they'd be dumb to leave, as they know someone else was nearby working on it with you.

Plague and Legion can easily turn the game around, as those killers gain a significant advantage from you being injured early on. Staying grouped at the first second already puts them at an advantage, it almost feels like cheating when I play them and i catch them quickly.

  • it would actually be pretty cool

  • I've noticed the opposite, im actually able to vault windows and not get hit through the other side.

With regards to what you're talking about, unless you hop a decade into the future, ping isnt gonna be low enough to make hits feel perfect on the survivor side, but at least Servers feel better than an unstable killer hosting

  • The strongest killer in the game that you see quite frequently in red ranks due to her unignore-able mobility tool "isnt that strong".

I'm sure you are either a Nurse main that is unhappy, or truly unaware of her strength.

  • Regardless of when it starts, can the event time be extended? a one week event is pretty short, especially when you work / study

  • If a person who was just unhooked runs directly towards you, and you attempt to rehook them knowing DS is a thing, the fault is on the killer.

And you could dribble with old DS, which was extremely boring and time consuming.

The change was better for the health of the game

  • Seems like everyone is forgetting that Macros are against the End User License Agreement...people need to read that kinda stuff before they spout nonsense how those being clicked at need to "calm down" and "stop being triggered".

How about you quit breaking the agreement and respect the other side? Doesn't take much to be a little bit respectful, i know y'all ain't children.

  • Thou shall run directly away from hooked survivors while being chased.

  • Win conditions are personal. You can say I didnt win all your life, If I did what i set out to do in the match, I won. Everyone else in the world can shout to the highest mountains about XYZ I didnt do or did wrong, but their opinion doesnt matter.

Therefore fun IS a win condition, and you can be salty and disagree and try to make the other sides time as miserable as possible, but thats their truth.

  • No offense to Not_Queen, but Spirit was scarier without the voice. Nothing is threatening about Waluigi.

  • Thana isnt powerful enough to warrant that

Why should you know? To tell your SWF about it? Use Kindred.

Kindred wont tell you if the killer is near. Its about making the proper plan to escape, not everything in the world is about SWF.

  • Survivor side, i've been having great games due to it. I can actually vault windows without the killer magically killing me across it.

As Michael, i've had my Tier III fail to activate, causing the music to play both Tier II and Tier III at the same time despite not tiering up

  • As a person that does this sometimes, it is OP and it is unfair. plain and simple.

  • as long as you aren't being a crappy human being in DBD on purpose, any negativity you receive is unwarranted and should be completely disregarded.

Overcharge isn't even that bad of a perk, its just more effective on Doctor, which is obviously why you took it.

If they are upset at the end of the game, they're angry about their lack of skill when it comes to skill checks and are projecting it at you. You did nothing wrong taking the perk.

  • I don't take any meta perk, except maybe BT, but I never purposely "try hard". It's just that I don't want to die, Im pretty sure most survivors don't want to die.

Ive played long enough to know how to extend my life as long as possible, which may seem toxic to lower ranked or newer killers, but it's all in the name of trying to keep my allies alive.

I also dislike having crappy teammates, and, in general, the lower ranked survivors play worse (poor altruistic decisions, mediocre chase skills, and general poor decision making) and selfishly. I know we all make mistakes, but I don't want to be in a team that tends to make a lot of them within a time span of 8 minutes and then leave my ass to die when I did everything in my power to keep them safe.

I also don't want to be in the rank where its literally just Billy's and Nurse's, but I must take the good with the bad.

    Hope that explains it.

  • I agree with buffing Ashley's other perks, but MoM just be deleted and forgotten.

Ofc farm maps are full of 💩. You need fertilizer to grow corn.

    I appreciate this post, @Mr_K

  • Charms don't interest me, and that's probably a good thing.

Put shirtless cosmetics on the paid side however, and we have a different story altogether.

  • It would help the perk be slightly more useful, sure.

  • Imagine if survivors were able to disarm the killer for up to 4 minutes and cause them to move extremely slowly as survivors just run around with free will. The killer wouldn't like it very much, now would they?

Indeed its the most effective strategy, and no, it really isn't that difficult to accomplish. I would know, I've done it. Its cheap, and we know it!

The solution? No clue, honestly. I personally would like to seppuku if it means my ally gets a chance and I no longer have to be bored waiting for an event that likely won't be in my favor. Don't know if that makes it fair though.

  • Deja Vu, Detective's Hunch (which is buffed), and Nancy's Better Together already fulfill the role to reveal gens. Honestly the buff you're proposing should go to Deja Vu, and even then, you shouldn't be working on all the gens close to the ones you've already completed.

I personally think the values just need to be doubled, as I already take two aura perks with limited range and Open Handed currently just isn't enough to justify using, but the effect it does have is extremely interesting to me.

Rage quitting is a symptom of having no associated punishment. It fuels the toxic behavior that plagues this community. It’s amazing to me that they allow people to ruin the gaming experience for others without any sort of draw back. Personally, I think they should bar people who rage quit from joining the que again for a set period of time, maybe the duration of an average match. Because I think there is a mentality among those type of people that if they see something they don’t like they will just leave and find another match, and that’s a problem.

There are players that leave the moment they spawn in a map they dislike, both killer and survivor and its extremely frustrating. They feel like they have complete justification over it, and that just makes no sense to me.

  • yeah the noise you hear during Entity Displeased is very disheartening and frustrating. It's not like the survivors that were waiting for you at the gate were enough negative reinforcement as to how you performed (even if you did give them a chance).

  • If Plague is aware enough to see the aura light up, and you were foolish enough to cleanse within her narrow Line of Sight, then the fault is on you.

We all make mistakes as survivors, this is one of them.

  • Literally just needs a hard limit of 1, and I would be perfectly fine with it.

That Ultra-Rare add-on is better than 90% of the other add-ons in that rarity, with no major downside due to being able to offset that with another add-on.

  • No One Left Behind, ironically, the perk left behind and forgotten

  • Nurse or Hag, between Look-Down Simulator and being trap manic, I don't know which I dislike more

  • Its a Grab at best and trade at worst assuming you play it out right, I don't see why there needs to be more mechanics stacked against a survivor in a situation like that.

  • Freddy Syndrome is real, you do not want a killer that can't be tracked and simultaneously can track others via aura.

Assuming Undetectable goes live, you can use that advantage to sneak up on the survivors and expose them like you would as Michael, right under their noses.

Of course, that's not as simple of a task as one might think, but aura reading isn't the solution. He needs a way to better approach and ambush survivors before they can react, as that better fits the theme.

I think Escaping should give no baseline BP at all, instead make it a BP multiplier. That way Survivors who did a lot get rewarded more for escaping, but Survivors who did barely anything and just escaped on the backs of the other Survivors get squat. 0x2 still equals 0 after all.

But yeah, more BP in general is always good. I think the BP caps should be raised too, raise them from 8K to 10K per category maybe.

wow, that's actually an extremely good idea.

  • Why not do both? It's extremely difficult to gain stacks in a normal match without making things more difficult for yourself, why not just have the reduced TR along with reduced Red Stain. It's not like either is going to make a significant difference in matches compared to other, more meta perks.

I love stealth killers, and stealth perks intrigue me, but the cost and difficulty of the perk outweigh the potential benefits.

  • Doctor is similar to Plague in the: 'Debuff everyone as soon as possible' game. The earlier you can do that, the more you can gain control of the survivors, or in The Doctor's case, locate and confuse them.

Remember that people can just run towards you to dodge the shock, at that point, just whack them, as you'll gain more progress by just getting the free hit than attempting to increase their insanity as they're consistently dodging the shockwave

    Halloween 2017 on repeat please.

    yes please!

  • Unsafe loops/pallets, charge&crouch speed add-ons,

You could also cut them off while crouching (assuming you're in a location where that's possible) then Ambushing at them while they're expecting you to be in a different direction.

That's all I can think of, I've always had a hard time justifying crouching in matches unless I knew the whereabouts of the survivor I'm targeting and needed to get the drop on them (Whispers, BBQ, etc.).

  • I've had survivors still escape when I started closing the hatch before the dedicated servers arrived, I also had much crappier internet back then so I will have to re-test that soon.

  • That's pretty good quality right there, if only Wraith was as scary as that music.

  • It's just how you're able to move the camera, as killer, survivors attempt to 360 me, and I just nudge my mouse and they're hit.

As survivor, I can swiftly look behind me and look back in front without issue, and the short amount of time it takes to do that can mean the difference between a successful mind game and a failed one.

Obviously it's not like consoles are inherently worse, its just their tools limit their skill ceiling.

  • Deathgarden has an option where you can queue up for the next match while spectating the current one, which is extremely convenient. I wish that was a thing in DBD, cause its way more fun to watch the action, then to sit by the campfire

Flop flap flop flap schloop schloop.... Raaaaaaaaaaawr!

    Guess who?

    @yobuddd Nea?

  • I believe they did attempt a mechanic like this, and, as survivors always do, they ruin a good thing by abusing the mechanic.

And thus it was removed. The End.

  • you signed an End User License Agreement, if you don't agree to the terms then don't play the game.

  • The main issue is that only a small section of people test the PTB (only PC users can even test) and on top of that, the majority of people leave the PTB after seeing all there Is to see.

If BHVR wants accurate information, they have to force feed the most important thing to be added to the game, which is the servers.

Sure, if the tests were unsuccessful, then you deal with crappy servers, but they won't know how bad the servers are if there aren't enough people to provide the information to let them know that

  • Of course it would look better, but there's numerous items with flair that don't carry over beyond just the Hallowed Blight skins.

It would probably be hella work for the art team who would profit more off making new skins, especially for licenced content.

We'll probably see it in the future though, one can hope!

  • I feel like killers shouldn't hear their own noises that emanate from them as loudly as survivors would.
