Nurse does need a nerf, she’s the killer equivalent of SB-SC-DS survivor. Anyone saying she is fine loves their killer crutches just as much as survivors love their own. I would personally like to see her blink range cut of half.As for not not seeing her much 1.Rank 9 is not where nurses are loaded, all killers are still easy to get 4k’s there 2.Console, poor performance and controls make her harder to use.
If all the survivor crutches are removed and looping is fixed, then of course nurse needs a nerf. But lets face it, its not gonna happen

If they nerf her again, they might as well just delete her from the game. There would be no incentive to master a difficult to control Killer over any other Killer in the roster. You don’t put a ######### ton more work and effort into a Killer that’s harder to use just to achieve the same results in power.
Nerfing the strongest (only viable killer high rank) killer would be a pretty solid sign that devs ultimately cater towrads survivors, I guess lots of killers would quit if that ever happens, even if they dont even play nurse

I am playing on console and i am rank 9.When i see nurse i always win she get only 1 kill or 0.Why people always say nurse needs a nerf?Because nurse is actually quite decent if you play her with a mouse and acceptable FPS. The main reason however is that survivors just want to loop the nurse like any other killer and that always goes wrong, they prefer crying about it to the devs in order to get the killer nerfed instead of adapting their playstyle

Someone did the math already, during the Tim of the camping the remaining survivors can do 3,5 gens and considering g that they worked on gens before the camp already, this is enough time to grant them a free escapechadnati0n said:so I’ve noticed a lot of face camping lately while playing the cannibal especially it totally holds the game hostage to camp especially with a chainsaw that has about five swings borrowed time can’t even save them. What if??... and this is a big what if.?? The dying process slows tremendous while the killer is in the vacinity o the hook I’m talking enough time to finish all gens of the killer stays. I only ask this because there’s legit NO way to save this person and still goes the killer time to find another victim before gens are completed. I know killer mains are going to argue well the survivor shouldn’t go down if he doesn’t wanna be camped but it’s inevitable a killer is goin to eventually down some doesn’t matter how good they are. Just some food for thought.

DC ban should be dished out at 5%, and reset your record every month.I say 4 disconnects per month, and if you exceed that, you can't play for the rest of the month. However, this assumes that the Killer has a "Concede" option. I'll explain:
- You're not entitled to DC from a game just because it's going poorly. That ruins everyone else's fun. If you're playing Survivor, you have the option to [BAD WORD] by letting the Killer hook you.
- If your Internet is so bad that you disconnect often, then you clearly shouldn't be playing online anyway. You're ruining everyone else's game, period.
- If you have stuff to do IRL, then you shouldn't be playing anyway. However, 4 DCs allow for one emergency per week, which I'd say is a fair assumption.
-
Soft camping is when you don't move to the other side of the map before the unhook hapens
-
I am confused "the bully" should obviously be a survivor character
-
Doc is trash at high ranks and only works against inexperienced survivors whose true rank would be way lower than their actual one.
But luckily the emblem system allows anyone to climb into the high ranks and thus gives chance for some refreshing noob games (at least on pc)
The only true viable killer is nurse, if you can't play her on console go to Billy because huntress is a chore on console probably^^
Oh and leather face is even worse than doc, such strategies only work if survivors throw themselves at the hook which is not the case in high rank anymore (maybe it still is on console, idk) -

Survivor main. Ruin is fine honestly. Either bring a toolbox, use certain perks to do skill checks/find totems, or just get good at great skill checks. Most games Ruin is gone after the first chase, it's mostly there to give the killer a chance to start up pressure on the survivors. Others I just plow through and get my 2 gens so I can hatch at least.NOED though is IMO a clutch perk. So many bad killers use it and end up getting way more kills than they rightfully deserve. And I mean just really bad killers, ones that can't catch you even when you don't loop or never kick gens or break pallets. Those killers always have a NOED and it always makes up for their lack of skill. I get games can go fast and it can be used as an ace in the hole, but good killers make better with other perks so the only ones that use it are the bad killers. If you want something for endgame that's not a crutch pick Remember Me. It's way more effective and actually takes some skill in that you have to find and hunt down your obsession. It also rewards you greatly for going after the DS guy, so now there's value in chasing them and not leaving them until the end of the game because DS.
And to be clear, DS and NOED are both equally crutchy perks for either side. Both give you a freebie for basically being bad at the game.
Survivors have tons of crutch perks outside of Decisive Strike. Self-Care and Sprint Burst both completely change the way the game is played and Adrenaline is the survivor equivalent of NOED.
I'm not disagreeing with you. But even as a killer you have to admit NOED is a crutch. Probably the only crutch killer perk, but still a crutch.
Sprint Burst is only a crutch when it triggers multiple times in a chase. I've managed to escape a lot of chases just by the luck it triggered at the right time, it was definitely helping me when I should have been dead. The exhaustion update should fix that, though I do think Vigil should allow you to recover from Exhaustion while running if at least at a reduced amount.
Self Care is almost a necessary perk, to the point it almost should be a based survivor ability. The only time it becomes a crutch is when you pair it with other crutch perks like DS or BT (which IMO isn't really a crutch on it's own but it is when combined with SC). The SC change sounds so convoluted, like all the solutions we have gotten so far. I don't get why Self Care can only have a limited number of uses unless you have a medkit in your hand in which case it would be infinite (SC use is infinite not the medkit).
Only thing I would change about Adrenaline is that it only triggers during the period when the gates are powered. If you are hooked then getting unhooked shouldn't proc Adrenaline after the fact.

thesuicidefox said:the problem is 90% of Docs running this strat just refuse to let the game end in some way and just insist on dragging out the game for an eternity.
I see a pattern that the killer needs to let you do gens. It's the docs fault for dragging on the game for guarding the objective. The doc needs to commit to a chase. Why is it that it's the doc's job to lose?
Counter offer, if you want the game to end walk up to him and let him hook you. Try and Kobe, then let the entity take you back to the campfire.I do actually sometimes, and he doesn't take it. These players insist on dragging out the game. Keeping me from doing gens is fine if you kill people in the process. But if you are just not letting me do gens AND not killing anyone we are stuck in a stalemate.
This also ignores the fact that Doc isn't going to lose. If he's been doing it for more than 10 minutes that Iridescent Gatekeeper. If he got a few hooks and chases before it got to 3 gens, or even a single kill, he pips. HE ALREADY HAS WON! Yet we are still playing because...? I can't answer that.
Like really tell me what I'm supposed to do because I can't do ï and he won't kill me, despite everyone in the game probably getting a pip. What are my other options?
-
Why irritating to play against? I don't have suh a feeling when I play against him which happens rather rarely because he is not the strongest killer^^thesuicidefox said:Are you aware that Doc is seriously irritating to play against? (rhetorical, that's not the question...)
Not saying he is difficult to play against. I'm saying he is irritating. It's very rare to get a game against a Doc that won't feel like your doing your taxes with a pencil and paper while chewing on tinfoil.
I ask (this is the question) is there any way we can come to an agreement of how to make Doc both a better killer and less annoying to play against? I'm not trying to start a fight here I really want to make a deal because dear God, I can't take these games anymore.
Flaming toxic posts will be reported btw. You know who you are.

While she is amazing in some situations, I see nothign I can do against genrushers. As billy or nurse you can at least control the gens, but as hag thats pretty much ompossible unless all gens are really close in a small map -

If they finished every generator under 5 minutes, then there’s something else that’s wrong. You’re playing at lower ranks where people are scared and hide whenever they hear the slightest bit of noise. Don’t be surprised if they want to get out so they don’t die.
As low rank killer you regularly face high rank survivors who queue up with a single low rank survivor because the matchmaking is utterly ridiculous.
As an experienced killer who hovers usually at low ranks I struggle hardcore when thsi happens and if I imagine a beginner killer...... -

If there are too many toolboxes in the lobby, you better dodge, especially since survivors want to use their BNPs before they are nerfed -

Pretty frustrating that you can trap a narrow corridor dead center and still have survivors squeeze through like a rat.Just a small change would go a long ways in this regard.
The most frustrating thing is when the survivors hitbox is small enough to pass through the wall and the trap, but when I do the same, I get stuck in my own trap.
Not gonna lie, if that happens I will tunnel that survivor to death and then go afk in the basement

I feel as though when I play as killer theres never enough hooks but always more pallets and vice versa as survivor, I cant have anywhere near as much fun as I normally do in the lower ranks where people are still human and not androids only seeking to win or piss you offForget about trapper till midchapter patch hits =(

I think it needs to be worked on or taken out of the game because it is just useless..Struggling was only introduced that the killer cant carry all his victims into his basement. It was never meant to be a possibility for the survivor to escape the grasp (that would be insane, imagine if that was a thing) and in fact bodyblocking in front of the hook became a thing to abuse this mechanic
I have to correct you there. There is a score category which is for taking hits while a survivor is within a killers grasp. Blocking a killer from hooking or walking through a doorway whilst carrying a survivor was ALWAYS INTENDED as a way to escape the killers grasp.
Edit to add: A killer has the option to hit a bodyblocking survivor. They always have the power to make them move!.
Yeah yeah just hit the bodyblocking surivor, too bad that there are 3 of them and they can effectively deny the hook with that
But killers are not allowed to bodyblock the survivor away from the unhook button # double standards

For SWF it got harder to genrush, loop and annoy the Killer. The killer has a better oppertunity of killing a survivor. Yet all killers that have played for a long time, tend to camp/tunnel, wherefor escaping gets quite hard without certain perks. As a result the killer is mad because they use those perks, and then start using their own great perks and still tunnel. It would never be solvable but if the killer is able to get an easy kill, then that's a 25% chance per match. If the Killer chooses to tunnel you, you're dead. It's from both sides (survivor and killer) unkind and I wished the dev team would make the game so that you cant stay next to the hook when someone hangs on it.For SWF it got harder to genrush and annoy the killer? Please explain that (Also a SWF is supposed to annoy the killer? Lol)
Btw, as survivor you are not entitled to survive

I played Doctor, Hag, Hillbilly, and Shape when I was high ranked; The trick I found was to sometimes NOT hook a downed survivor. Or NOT chase an injured survivor sometimes.
I wonder if these tricks would still work...Genrushing has definitely become worse since the depip squad demonstrated how broken it is.
In fact I didnt even knew that if 2 survivors work on a gen, that the gentime isnt just halfed and if you want to play efficient every survivor takes his own gen.The depip experiment tried to show how broken the balance currently is, it was succesful in that way, but sadly the devs ignored it and the survivors know their power now

What are your thoughts? Do you (any rank Killer players) feel that these perks are such a necessity? Have you made it to rank 1 without heavy use of these perks.
I’m seriously considering coming out of retirement to show these new age Killers how it’s done.
I very rarely play against NOED, usually it gets clansed instantly or doesnt even activate because survivors went through all the totems while searching for ruin. I stopped using NOED on my killers aswell (sometimes on trapper though)
Ruin is mandatory because of how fast the gens pop. Yeah it can be annoying but I see it as great-skillcheck practice and its actually insane how fast you can do a gen if you hit great skillchecks all the time (without ruin)

I would put huntress into A-tier, nurse is clarly above any other killer in my opinion because huntress can be looped by a competent survivor too.
Then Id move clown down to B tier because without the insta down addon he is rather weak and you cant play every game with it.
Then switch leatherface with michaelAnd freddy belongs next to wraith in my opinion, yes he gets genrushed easily and this is exactly the problem. A killer that has to rely on endgame is simply trash, especially since the emblem system doesnt reward it
