Lithe is better.

Unfortunately just another killer that they went overboard with when people only asked for a slight nerf, same thing happened with Billy.
Imo the only thing they should have changed about Deathslinger was give him a sound cue when he points his weapon, like when huntress puts her hatchet up. Everything else was fine.
-
If you have to ask that in the forums I think the obvious answer is yes.

somebody had a bad match eh?
Same could be said about the OP of this thread, why didn't you share the same opinion then?

Yes, she is one of my favorite horror characters.

Imagine insulting someone for using a perk? I bet I dead hard was nerfed or removed killers like you would still be complaining about survivors.
It will literally never end. If dead hard gets nerfed and people start using sprint burst they'll cry about that next. Which imo is WAYYY more annoying to face.

The moment they use DH just camp them ⛺️🔥. Let them whine, DC, and let themselves get sacced. They want to extend chases for free to win EZ. So put them on a hook and be sacrificed EZ. Especially with STBFL. Makes this easy.
The moment a killer gets playing sportingly out of their minds. The moment killer begins to bully the survivors the way they do your killers. The happier you’ll be. You actually Pip from it too if you do it right. Which is why survivors “Bully”.All those pallet slams and flashlight saves pips them up.
Yes, because camping is so skillful. 4head
If a perk triggers you that much I think you should just go play another game.
-
Krampus is my favorite.

I don't think she is unfair and I find her quite fun to face.

It is op and all the data and metrics around it prove it.
Can you show me the data? Didnt know there was an official stat just on the perk.

I've been enjoying solo q much more since I turned crossplay off a month ago. Way less potatoes at night time.
-
"Gen/Hook Pickup failure - Add a .25s exit animation for unhooks and gens so people can't bait the pickup and instead have to commit to the animation or run." But why? Wouldnt that just make facecamping even easier? I don't see how it is an issue right now.

Removing the timer would encourage certain players to never do anything useful in order to proc DS (think of the people that chase after the killer after a hook and crank it up to eleven - they now do have immunity, but burden their team while they do it), and even more strongly encourage killers to bleed out for the full four minutes instead of risking picking up the last or second last survivor once things start to rotate.
Doesn't seem like a healthy change.
This. There's already players who wont do gens, heal you etc during those seconds. I cant imagine how many wouldnt do anything at all for the rest of the match.

Billy, Freddy, Michael and Ghostface.

Literally nobody.

It's 4v1 when you're in a SWF, not solo Q.
Why would I care that people that I dont know escaped when I get nothing for it?
Go ahead, add that context. 😉
Oh wait, you did, and it's still the exact same sentiment? Oh well. Tbf, the reason I quoted you wasn't because you were the first I've seen with that mindset, just the best, most concise example of it.
I already added the context above, "😉".

I assume communication helps with the coordination of teamwork.
I still say that rewards and punishments should be assigned on a group basis for survivors, though, including MMR.
I agree. I've said this before. If the killer is camping the survivor that is on the hook should be given compensation so people actually stay as long as they can on the hook, giving their team enough time to do gens.
Right now the camped survivor gets nothing, and imo they should get at least distraction points. A lot of people will just suicide on hook if camped, and honestly I dont really blame them. This is just one of the examples of things that should reward team gameplay.

If you want to know the real issue with solo Q, you just nailed it.
Lot of people who decide since they queued alone, they aren't really in a team.
Prior to swf, it was common for survivor players to communicate with one another using points, crouches and the like. Now? If they didn't come in as a group, they see no reason to care about their teammates. That's not the fault of swf being too powerful, it's the fault of people playing a team game without any sense of teamwork.
Yes, it is a real issue to get left to die on hook even when you have kindred and the killer isnt camping.
Yes, it is a real issue when you're dead on hook and the claudette who hasnt even been hooked yet doesn't try to take aggro.
Can you tell that person how they could have done better as a team?
As someone who plays mostly altruistic, and I dont have an issue with dying because MMR doesnt affect me in crossplay off, I think you're seeing my comment as something that isn't my particular trait, but as a mindset a lot of players have.

I'm glad you decided to quote a comment I made in another thread without even asking for context about it, and just decided to assume what it really meant.
My comment was not about the team work itself, was about the lack of gain you actually get for working as a team.
If my team escapes and I die, who gets lower MMR and worse team mates? Me. Maybe I died and they escaped because I decided to go back and save them, who knows. I still don't get rewarded for going back and saving them besides some low BP points and maybe some feel good pats on the back, which again, is irrelevant to gameplay, it's just a ego booster.
No one said "swf killed solo q", it has nothing to do with swf. It has to do with the lack of communication available. Was SWF the ones who took communication away from solo q? No, so why would swf be the ones to blame? I've never even seen anyone saying "solo q sucks bc of swf".
The "crappy mindset" is fueled by how the game is designed itself. It rewards selfish gameplay. Saying kindred basekit wouldnt help solo q at all is just plain ignorance.
-
Only issue I have with Lerys is for killers like Billy who get screwed over because of the map layout and how there are so many corners.
-
It's not that deep.
-
As often as most other killers besides nurse, blight and huntress. Not as much.

@Huge_Bush said:
My survivor queues are still the same. Instant before 7PM and 5-10 minutes after 7PM. I don't know if they get longer after 8PM, I stop playing before then.
Same. Survivor q times have always been instant during the day for me, and killer takes like 3 minutes, at night the opposite.
-
So many things, here's a few:
Sandbag, work with the killer, hide all game, farm people from the hook without BT, not take hits when someone is on death hook and they havent been hooked yet, self care every time they get hit.

Blight and Huntress. Stupid and unfun to play as/against killers
Tinkerer on Same blight makes me sigh.
Devour hope is just Throw a dice perk. Totem stays? all dead. Totem gone? Perk does nothing.
Noed because it is fun to die on your 1st hook
Blight and Huntress are weak? The more you know.....

Where the hell are these lightborn complaints coming from?
I've seen far, far more people complaining about people complaining about lightborn than people complaining about lightborn so far.
This. Literally nobody is complaining about lightborn, I've seen more people saying it is a weak perk than people complaining about it.

Removal of sleep depravation and Freddy's claw marks (P3).
He had the best prestige in the game. As someone who mains p3 Quentin, I was quite disappointed to see the claw marks go, since it made it so unique.
As for the rework, he didn't look great... but now he looks almost like felix's twin with that jawline.
-
Quentins always get hatch/gate, idc if they're toxic.
As for everyone else, I usually give the last survivor the hatch, unless I know the only reason that survivor is alive is because they hid all game and didn't help their team.
-
I think corrupt should be basekit, but ruin no. However, I think the killer kicking a gen should regress it about 5/7/10% basekit (without pop etc), so kicking gens is actually worth it.

To be fair no Killer is good against high ranking survivors.
Nurse, Blight?
-
You shouldnt drop your item to pick up the box imo.
If someone steals my items I'll make sure they die. if I cant keep it, neither can them.
-
This is why I've been bringing Bond lately. With how bad MMR is, it's great to find useless team mates and lead the killer to them so they start doing something for once.

To be fair. We did have a "nerf artist and blight" thread today 🤣
Some people will only be happy when everything in the game is nerfed to the ground until all perks are as bad as no mither/monstrous shrine and all killers are as bad as legion.

The complaining is getting so old.
People will use this thread to say "survivors want every killer nerfed!!!!" because they wont pick up on the sarcasm, just watch.
As for the OP, I'm 99% sure you're being sarcastic but in case of that 1% chance you're not, no one is with you.

You have to take into consideration that a lot of players play on console and are unable to play killers such as Blight or Nurse very effectively simply because these killers require optimal speed and precision which is near impossible for most controller players to achieve in this game.
I have never been scared of a console Nurse or Blight, they usually put in good effort but you can clearly see they are limited in their plays.
I believe the console population of this game is the larger counterpart to PC or at least it would make sense that it is. It saddens me that a lot of people forget about console killer players entirely.
So really I think it's just ignorant of you to say "just play a stronger killer". This is neither going to contribute to the game's health or advice that most DBD players can use.
You being limited on your killers because you choose to get the game on console is not really anyone else's problem.
That's like saying Dead Hard is bad on console so it should be buffed.
-
I have no problem about any of those killers, imo they're fine as they are.

It is live, it just sucks.
-
No Quentin? Shame.
I agree with most besides Tapp and Bill. All the Tapps I've seen so far (which haven't been any) have been complete potatoes. I see way more Bills, and they never bring BT and just farm others off the hook.
Totally agree on Aces. They always sandbag their team mates as well.

No.

Are they punished iff they're playing with people like them who want to win using any means necessary?
They're punished by a game design that is was created with a casual game in mind. So obviously it would have balance issues on the competitive front.
The issue is that I dont think MMR is even working. I keep getting really random survivors both as killer and survivor.
-
Why would people get punished by MMR just because they are trying to win?
-
I'm seeing way more people saying lightborn is a "bad perk" than people saying it is boring to go against.
I for one do not care if the killer has lightborn, since I dont care for flashlights in the first place.
If I'm playing killer and see flashlights in my lobby, I will equip it and never once have I gotten hate for it.
-
Just play SWF.
-
It's supposed to match you with players of equal skill.
Is it working? No.

I had a feng recently spamming vaults because I blessed a totem once. She couldn't hold a chase for 10 seconds against blight.
I ran blight for 2, 3 gens. Did a gen or two, and escaped while she died.
I am just giving you a different perspective. People like that I can't take seriously at all. They think they know everything and throw tantrums when others don't play how they want even if they are doing worse than you.
I've had people who bless one totem, then bless another, then bless another. It's like the new self caring blendettes almost.

Depends on how people use them and if the survivors are good.
Can the survivors manage to do everything else and dont spam boons? Then they can be op.
Are the survivors only blessing totems and not touching gens, being completely useless? Then it's not op.

What about anybody that doesn't wanna play those 2 killers?
I mean if I also only want to play with no mither in solo q, should I be upset and say "killers op" if I lose? No.
Right now those are 2 viable killers against coordinated swf. Nobody is forcing anyone to play them, but if you play a weak killer and lose against a good swf, you shouldnt be surprised.
