It was "fairly" nerfed? All the main survivor perks (dh, spine chill, self care, iron will, ds) got nerfed to the point where they are useless. The killer perks got minor nerfs. Some of the strongest killer perks like bbq didn't get any nerf in terms of gameplay. The most broken perk in the game (noed) got a minor nerf. I know this was meant to be a killer sided patch but this is a bit much. I'm just going to run swfs and carry with prove thyself. Cannot win in solo q.
Read my post again.

Low effort bait try harder

It wouldnt work in EU servers when a lot of people don't speak the same language.

I love hearing people actively proclaim that they want to ruin the match for the other people involved, just because they cant handle a little xtra time.
If you didn't want to spend extra time in a video game, why are you playing video games?
Dont care didnt ask will continue to give up against thana legion/plague

Yeah, well, luckily for us all, DBD is not only a survivor game, and after playing a survivor-sided game in which a match could last four minutes if all survivors were repairing without minding anything else at all and after struggling a lot, killers finally got some love from the devs. This is balance, genrush can be delayed, giving more time to stop It, and survivors no longer have overpowered tools that encourage a toxic behaviour in the endgame. You are clearly a main survivor who enjoyed having power, but that is not funny for a killer, and a game's aim is to be funny for EVERYONE.
It wasnt survivor sided, it was swf sided. Solo q was nerfed again for what reason?

Nah, killers have been suffering for awhile, this was a long time coming.
No they havent.
-
There's still tunneling and camping. Nothing has changed.
-
Solo Q was already a challenge, it didn't need to be made more boring, annoying and frustrating than it already was.
If the devs really want to boost kill rates by sacrificing solos, I'll give them what they want. Legion/Plague with thana? it's a suicide on hook for me chief. No one thinks pressing m1 for more than 2 mins is fun sorry.

I´m curious. Whats that screenshot supposed to mean? It doesn´t seem to have any correlation with what you wrote.
Means that killers don't need to have a boost in incentive to play right now.
Sadly, incentives only ruined queue times and matchmaking even more.

DBD forums DMs are disabled apparently however if you'd like we could play together. Dont have to voicechat or anything.
My discord is: Marvin#7735
And sure I'm always up to swf these days.
-
I have to agree with you. They just added way too many training wheels for killers in this update.
Everyone was complaining about dead hard and it was fairly nerfed. They didnt have to touch on anything else on either side.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

It's just like I thought, the casual people who aren't very good at the game are gonna get frustrated and quit, I know a ton of survivors like myself who have done fine without dead hard for years but maybe that's because when it first came out there was very little distance and you were exhausted on the ground half the time because there was no hit validation so it wasn't worth it when you had better perks, but I have a feeling those blood point incentives are gonna be for survivors most of the time due to casuals refusing to play and improve
Incentives are making the matches worse for me. Queue times longer when they were instant, and even more people with only 100 hours.
I'd rather have less bad matches than ######### matches with incentives.

Weird - My games have been way breezier without all the stall/regression perks getting in my way.
Of course, I could be wrong, but we'll see how the meta shakes out ;3
Without the stall/regression perks? Because that's pretty much everything the killers I'm facing are still running.
-
Garbage in solo q. Everyone gives up at 5/4 gens and I'm getting 100 hour megs on my team.

Ah yeah that's rough none of those killers are particularly fun to face, maybe blight at a stretch... If you're from Europe we could play together sometime it might give you more variety.
I'm in EU pc.

Already saw a claudette self caring after the update and I just gave up on hook.

What sort of killers are you facing? I think I'm quite lucky in that I'm facing a wide array of killers at the moment. Not seen any legions or nurses yet thankfully.
Nurse, Blight, Legion. These 3 mostly since the update.

Because by default of the nature of the game, the survivors should never have more power over the killer.
on a 1v1 I agree. But on a 4v1, it should be balanced, Currently in solo q, it is not.
-
I've only won one so far everything else everyone gives up at 4/5 gens and I am dead :).
Just now had a meg with just 100 hours in my lobby too.

I haven't even played yet and already things seems to be going down hill
I mean from what I'm seeing most games will be legion/plague with thana and almost old spirit since they're using stridor again.
Might as well just play killer at this point at least you dont have to press m1 for more than 2 minutes on a gen.
-
@dspaceman20 said:
They want long matches? While they going to get short ones instead because I'm not staying in long.
They want long matches, but at the same time they made chases last less because of the basekit buff to killers like bloodlust and hit recover speed and breaking pallets faster.
More gen times, less chase times.

@Hex_Ignored said:
I'm just scared that instead of nerfing thanatophobia they nerf legion and plague. Those two don't deserve nerfs because of a stupid perk
Those 2 killers were fine, I'd even argue that plague could get a buff somehow. But no, they went about it the worst way possible. These are going to be the most boring matches ever and I dont blame anyone who wants to dc or suicide on hook.
-
They wanted to "shake up the meta" because it was "boring" and make things even more boring...
-
According to this blight I went against the other day, dropping pallets is toxic.

Dwelf and Bald Dwight.
I hate dwelf too, they're always trolls

Ace. They're always toxic.
-
All of them. I am ready.
-
Yea I've had a lot of cheaters, again, recently.
Just the other day I had a match with 2 killers (2 wraiths) who would down you from across the map, fly around, spawned near me. etc.
-
Everything is an exploit to some people these days.
-
Either play SWF or killer.
-
Have the same issue when I use inner strength. Survivors think you’re just hiding and start trying to sandbag you.

The Iron Will nerf is long overdue. They massively buffed Iron Will to completely negate Spirit as a killer, then they nerfed Spirit on top of that, without undoing Iron Will.
No one survivor perk should totally invalidate a killer's power.
Guess we gotta nerf calm spirit again

Please, more players like this one.
Why? So you get easier games as killer?

That’s solo Q for you.

Killer I hate playing against the most: Pinhead and Huntress.
Survivor I hate playing against the most: Ace.

I have Chris and don't regret it one bit.

I rarely try to give up on hook so I guess I wouldn’t care if they did introduce some sort of system that punished repeat offenders. As long as it has some give. The times I have given up is when I’m just about to hit second stage, no one has been in chase that whole time and the killer isn’t camping. I figure if it gets to that stage the team obviously doesn’t think the need me. I also find in those situations what usually happens is someone then decides to go for the unhook while the killer has come back to check the hook. They unhook me in the killer’s face without BT and I go back on hook to die anyway. I just don’t encounter it at a high rate either so never given it a lot of thought.
Yes those situations can happen too, but rarely it's 3+ times in a row.
If someone is suiciding on first hook 3+ times in a row, there's obviously something not right.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
The thing is, it’s a game mechanic. There are offerings and perks that help increase the change of unhooking yourself. They would have to work out a system to tell you aren’t trying to take advantage of those and not just trying to rage quit.
on thing I’d have to say, you obviously aren’t a quitter. If I got the amount of bad games you do I would have given up on this game long ago.
It is a game mechanic, but if there's no luck offerings or luck perks and people are doing it multiple matches in a row, something has to be done.

@HectorBrando said:
I disagree, forcing people to play something they dont want is not the good direction, they should adress what makes people DC or give up on first hook, Ive played enough Survivor to know that almost 9 out of 10 DCs and/or suicides are always done when certain variables are in play.
They should tweak the variables that make people behave like that, not giving harsher punishments otherwise theyll just ditch the game alltogether.
Who is forcing you? Who has a gun pointed at your head saying you have to play dbd?

exactly my point from page 1, i gave a thoughtful solution no one has commented on... oh well.
By that logic killers should also ban swf because it isnt fun.

So instead of AFK, they'll just run straight to the killer
And suicide on hook. If it happens a lot they should get a penalty.

Your point? People give up in games. I don't know what you want to do about that? I don't think that's a problem. But thanks to the DC penalty people can be have matches dragged out. At the minimum, people still have the option to allow the game naturally kill them off so they can move on, and you want to make that worse?
I don't understand how you can't se this causing but nothing but problems in the future.
It is a problem when you giving up ruins it for everyone else.

Plz go check what entitled means,,,i would be entitled if i was making a crying post in forums about waht other people do in their games,,just like you do right now :) keep malding and seething ,,, ^^
Entitled is someone like you who will suicide/dc because there's something going on that you dont like, be it the killer, the map, whatever else.
Making forums posts isnt being entitled.
Malding and seething? Ok are you 12?
-
@Icaurs said:
I mean... it was pretty obvious what would happen when introducing the DC penalty. People would just suicide on hook, and this would not solve anything. It causes way more problems then it solves.
People shouldn't be forced to participle in a match that is unfun, when it quite easy to ruin the fun for everyone else. So no, I am glad people can bail on a match if a killer chooses to camp. Or if their teammates aren't doing anything. Or a match becomes apparent that win is not achievable, so you give up and move on to the next one.
Most of the matches that are obviously not winnable are when someone suicides/dcs at 5 gens.

I don't think players play to intentionally lose. They play for a chance to win. It's not the players being bad.
It's not that they play intentionally to lose. But imagine someone doesnt like going against half the killers, and they suicide on hook/dc every time it's a killer they dont like. What are the other 3 survivors supposed to do? Just drop MMR too because someone else doesnt like half the killers?
