Survivors, Just because your not as powerful
Does not mean you can't win, so please stop killing yourselves on your first hook, adjust your build, learn to loop, and things will be fine. They will be harder, but its not the end of the world. Its just finally time for playing survivor to actually be a challenge.

Playing Legion or Plague, eh?
At the end of the day its 4 against 1, kilking yourself on hook just screws your teammates
Solo Q was already a challenge, it didn't need to be made more boring, annoying and frustrating than it already was.
If the devs really want to boost kill rates by sacrificing solos, I'll give them what they want. Legion/Plague with thana? it's a suicide on hook for me chief. No one thinks pressing m1 for more than 2 mins is fun sorry.
I'm sorry but if it's against legion or plague and they are using thanataphobia I'm not stating in long
Big dog.
They want extremely long games I'm going to disappoint and give them short ones instead
I agree, fight boring with boring, its the only way.
No, a survivor against an Onyro
Edit: My entire team forced themselves to death hook.
Well maybe that hits the spot for certain players, for solo q overall its just not true.
Solo Q is getting hang over now for a long time and this time, they dont even looked at it in the slightest.
Solo Q was always a little bit unfun with some selfish teammates, but right now its just worse.
I understand that things as killers are frustrating, but the developers could atleast bring also something for solo q. But they said, its not the main thing they are working on. Sadly.
Said the person that has never solo queue as a survivor. Killer mains complain they cant get 4 kill wins every game and BHVR just gives them what they want. Its been that way for the last 5 patch updates.
At the end of the day killer was already easy to play before the update.
I literally just did 3 games as a survivor in solo queue. Its pretty much the only way I play survivor, I play stealth Cheryl with her white coat and everything and am always one of the last few hooked and usually pip. Thankfully the last game I played my team didn't kill themselves on hook and we almost won.
I love hearing people actively proclaim that they want to ruin the match for the other people involved, just because they cant handle a little xtra time.
If you didn't want to spend extra time in a video game, why are you playing video games?
Yes, mind gaming is super easy, as is monitoring all your gens, figuring out where you can get on the map, watching the survivors play style, doing your best to turn it against them, getting stuffed by unmindegamable and/or completely safe pallets, and having to deal with a get out of free card called DH. Super easy.
Dont care didnt ask will continue to give up against thana legion/plague
There is a reason why I stopped playing killer. It was too easy to get at least 2 kills per game. If you can't get 2 kills per game then you are bad at killer but when the devs give killers buffs every patch it makes it easy and not fun.
Playing Nurse huh? ;)
So no different than before this patch where all survivors wanted to do was E key to a pallet, extending the chase artificially with no skill of their own, just so the other 3 could do all the gens in 4-5 minutes?
So it really IS true. Survivors just want fast games. :D
Well Survivors crying on forums didn't stop this change so many are moving to the next proven method of getting what they want, messing with the all holy and unquestionable numbers BHVR preach. Surely if Survivors keep dying to Thana Legions and Plagues than the perk is a problem and NOT Survivors being entitled infants angry they lost their precious meta builds
What a story of inspiration. Lol. "I stealthed, took agro as late as possible, and we all died". Oh wow!
Time favors the killer my dude. Survivors want to win.
No not at all. I never even considered of dying on hook early before this update
I can't believe people are actually defending gens that take 160 seconds to complete against plague and legion. This is not balanced.
The one thing that's not said enough. This game is not multiplayer when there are at least two solos in the trial. Between not having to play tiles anymore -- killers can set crows or brute force/w-key their way through them or whatever -- and being able to make gens take two minutes, it's stunningly one-sided and unplayable. The solo survivor is just an NPC.
A great Mystery of the Fog, though. Because the Entity "thrives on the survivor's hope", why does he disable anti-tunnel and anti-camping measures for survivors in End Game but still offer the Exit Gate aura to killers? It's stunningly (use that word again) hand-holding.
You mean on any killer that uses thanataphobia? With its whole 2% total buff?
Honestly maybe just wait until mid-chapter to play solo again. Maybe then they'll add their HUD-info idea or w/e.
I'm not touching SoloQ even if I got paid for it. I'm going to let this patch and all the crazy perk builds simmer down, let the killer mains have their "revenge" and come back when it's less hectic and tiresome💀
Or just play killer.
I have seen survivors DC/suicide over the pettiest little things. And the funny part? These players think their petulance will he rewarded.
Sorry, not when the SWF players continue to demonstrate that survivors can compete no problem.
There's way more solo q and duos than there's those 4men stack that can compete.
When you intentionally tank your MMR, will you be back to complain about your teammates?
They can keep on DCing.
What if it's against a Legion without thana? :(
It takes you longer to ######### on your first hook than the 9 extra seconds (1.8 per generator) in total that are added by thanataphobias “buff” to doing all 5 generators with everyone injured.
I dont intentionally tank it, but do you expect me to not tank it when everyone else suicides on hook or dcs? So yes, I will keep on complaining about matchmaking, that doesnt even work.
Killer having problems with SWF? Sounds like a skill issue.
You mean 50 seconds you get total along with that 2% buff?
I will play
Show me where I said that?
This update makes the game single player when at least two solos are involved. We're NPCs, now.
You didn't answer my question.
SoloQ suffered most and will be unplayable. The thing is these killer buffs will not affect on 4 man swf at all so if you want to win play full swf. Well trio is still ok and have chance to win. Duo is bit better than soloQ but lot debends on your teammates.
Play yourself as surv, you’ll have a bp bonus for long long time
Well, play as surv, you can do it
You don't know what you have until it's gone. This game is not fair anymore for solo survivors and you were saying it's a skill issue as to why they're not going to be surviving. Solo survivor is the pure role in this game. Top SWFs are broken but rare and it's too easy to 4k as killer at this point.
Every single thing you wrote is subjective, and you still didn't answer my question.
The answer I was looking for is, "You didn't say those words, I put them in your mouth."
Just to nip this cyclical silliness in the bud.
No. Killers got what they wanted. An easy, single player game. No more complaining about SWF.
If you want to put it to the test, BHVR can run a solo survivor escape streak versus a killer 4k streak. Take the best survivors, playing solo, and the best killers. See what their streaks amount to. Both you and I know that the results would be comical.
Comically close? Because 4 of the best solos must be able to run the killer just fine still while the rest do gens, and do hook saves since survivors get a free endurance state off hook now?
Again, I don't care that you have an opinion. That's great and all. It's not supported by any real, measurable numbers.
You attached an imaginary argument to my name and latched onto it, I'm not participating beyond that.
Enjoy the low-effort, low-skilled interactions this game now provides, then.
Not comically close. Comically weighted towards one side. Killer. This is a low-effort, low-skilled game.
I think your talking about pre patch survivor
