110 movement speed, m1, add on dependent, hard countered by flashlights and urban, and good survs have counterplay against her setting off traps when they know she doesnt want to use them (close to finishing another chase / picking up a survivor / etc)
Not saying she is bad by any means, but she is B+ tier behind the big three and Freddy and Huntress for sure.
She's better than both, Freddy and Huntress.

Sounds good. But again, just imagine a Plague with Thana and Dying Light, if she got both perks to max the survivos are repairing and healing at half speed, which would be too much in my opinion.
Just imagine having Sloppy Butcher as well. I know that's three perk slots used. But at that point you wouldn't need any other perks.
Sloppy Butcher is useless on Plague 😂.

Advice on what can be done against a Spirit without perks: She has footstep sounds and disturbs crows when phasing. Both of which are noticeable inside her terror radius. She also has an audio cue while phasing(when outside terror radius). When you hear her phasing or notice her chasing someone else near you then stop repairing a gen, cleansing totems, searching boxes etc or risk getting grabbed.
To add further, if you suspect she's faking her power then run towards a window and slow vault it or flashlight her. If she was phasing SHE will have to guess if you vaulted the window or not. If she is faking it then you are safer near a window rather than a pallet that wasn't thrown down. If she is not phasing and you try to flashlight her she will move or be blinded. Don't move away from a safe spot or walk towards a safe spot to force her to react.
If you're bold enough, Spirit can be pallet stunned mid phase and while she is coming out of phase. You can throw down a pallet early and play around that though it's most effective while she is phasing. Pallet plays force HER to guess which side you are on of you don't fast vault when unnecessary. Start looping her to force her to phase then feign continuing the loop and run somewhere safer. Most effective if you backtrack while avoiding running back the same exact path to avoid running into her or in a completely different direction. Preferably near another window or thrown pallet.
When she messes up she is punished with 110% movement speed while her power slowly recharges. If she chose recharge time addons that would take the place of other possible ones like speed or duration.
In short: Windows and thrown pallets are strong against Spirit. Spirit can't see you nor can survivors see her while she is phasing. Though, both are able to hear eachother.
It is entirely possible to escape vs a good Spirit. It's difficult, as it should be, but possible. Just as it's possible for a good Spirit to do well against good survivors.
Flashlights aren't too viable against Spirit, a Spirit can just look down to not get blinded and thus tricking the survivor that she is actually phasing.

S : Nurse
A : Spirit, Hillbilly, Hag
B : Huntress, Nightmare
C : Demogorgon, Plague, Shape, Pig, Ghost Face
D : Doctor, Wraith, Cannibal
F : Legion, Clown, Trapper.
Right now I place Demogorgon somewhere between B- and C+ tier, around Freddy, Plague and Myers strength. However, I am not 100% sure about that placement. Probably when Demogorgon will be live I will have a better idea about him.

I must be missing something but why would Bamboozle force more pallet drops?
I’m always running Blood Warden and Remember Me currently (as insurance). They rarely come into play, but I’m always glad I have them equipped if the 5th gen pops. Last 2 perks I just screw around with. Was using Territorial Imperative & Monstrous Shrine for quite a while there because why not, lol. I don’t care too greatly what I equip in the last 2 slots because, other than endgame, Freddy feels very viable perkless.
With Bamboozle, survivors can't window loop you as easily and they are forced to drop pallets, even if they are fake.

They do different things. Bond let you see the other survivors in a small radius, so you know if they work on other gens, if they are being chased and it can help you if you need a heal. Better Together shows the other survivors the aura of your gen, so they can come to help you, leave and find a other gen, so your team can be more efficient or not leading a chase towards your gen. Also, the aura effect from Better Together will show you if your teammates are close to the downed survivor, so you can let them so the save or go yourself if nobody else is close.
I like Better Together more, but both have their uses.
-
Hex:Thrill of the Hunt and Hex:Haunted Ground are weak by their own and need at least another Hex combined with them, otherwise their effect will probably never come into play. Ruin is better than both.
Third Seal effect is completely countered by SWF teams. Ruin is better.
Devour Hope needs at least 3 hooks to do something and usually it's destroyed before or just right after you reach 3 stacks. It's very rarely to reach 5 stacks, too rarely for it to be better than Ruin.
NOED is the only Hex perk that might be better than Ruin, but the others aren't.

Here is mine.

I can understand the Haddonfield complaint but what in particular is so bad about Blood lodge? From my perspective it's a very open map with huge sight lines that help the killer keep survivors under pressure.
Because the map is full of safe and unmindgameable pallets. This map is horrible for any M1 killer.

Unless you're referring to how buggy his reveal, this post is gonna bother the heck out of me. Everyone keeps acting like spooky boi got nerfed into the ground because:
- They made it so that he can get stunned out of his power (LIKE EVERY OTHER KILLER IN THE GAME)
- Made his reveal area very slightly larger, (it's still about as big as your pinky finger tip on the middle of the screen, calm down its fine. Before you could be kissing him and not reveal him. This was basically a bug fix)
- And remove his ability to stalk survivors who were already stalked to full (You're obviously not being stealthy with the stealth killer if you're extending their timer in a chase. This was also obviously a bug given that there were addons to extend the timer. Why bring an addon that makes it last longer when you can just make it last longer yourself?)
Like honestly. Can someone please explain the hate for the Ghostface changes to me. They're nothing compared to how Pig got gutted or how Self Care became F tier (I miss when survs took 7 years self healing each game instead of doing gens) yet people act like it's the end of the world.
Sorry for the small rant. Been sitting on this for a while and it spikes up every time I see someone complain about him like anything important to his playstyle changed for the worse.
They also nerfed his stalk add-ons and they aren't worth using anymore, you are better to go with double cooldown add-ons.
-
Inner Strength > Self Care IMO. You can do the totem before getting injured, it has amazing synergy with DS and Head On and it counters all anti healing perks and all Mangled add-ons. I don't know what could you want more from this perk, to be an instant heal once you get in a locker ?
-
It's too early to say. Nobody knows how to play him or how to play against him yet.

Killer mains will say Billy is fine, because he is OP and is a one hit down, mostly the come backs are "loop him" what if you are out in the open or not a good looper? then it's all about "git gud" Billy players think he is okay, because they don't want him nerfed and loose their insta 4 k down kills. Just my opinion.
Maybe learn how to loop ? Any killer can win against a team of "not good loopers", not just Billy, so I don't l know what's your point here.
-
Lately I started to see more Spirits playing without add-ons or with brown/yellow add-ons in high ranks and they still get the 4k, not everyone is spamming with her green or purple add-ons.

I can't play the PTB because I'm on console, but that's probably the tier 1 version. Are you looking in KYF or the character profiles? KYF has all of the perks at tier 3.
Surge and Cruel Limits have their range at 24 meters at tier 3.
-
@TAG said:
I haven't hopped onto the PTB yet; what do they do now?
From Tru3 stream, Surge and Cruel Limits have their range decreased from 32 to 24 meters.

I really like this idea and it would make Corrupt Intervention much better, but as someone said already, I don't think CI was designed to be a tracking perk, we have Thrilling Tremors for that.
-
He said that only for Billy.

Tombstone is already weak and Fragrant Tuft of Hair also isn't too strong, double stalking add-ons are better on Myers IMO.

I disagree about Trapper. If you use both pink add-ons then once survivors see you have Bloody Coils they won't disarm traps making Iri Stone moot.
Best combo is Iri Stone + Honing Stone. No need to reset traps and if someone steps in a trap you don't need to react to it right away. If they get out and are not in dying then you know they are with someone else.
I also disagree about GF. Recovery + Stalk Rate is more effective.
Nah, double recovery add-ons are much better, stalk add-ons are pretty much useless now after they were nerfed. With both add-ons, your cooldown is just 16 seconds, while you need a purple add-on to cut off 0.75 seconds of stalk rate, which is not worth IMO.
-
Legion needs faster movement speed, faster vault speed, less stun time and an add-on rework in my opinion.

Why can’t you sheep be leaders instead of followers?? One person starts a trend and everyone bandwagons it? Don’t be afraid to have thoughts and opinions of your own...THAT’S what makes you human!
I like The Pig. She’s definitely my favorite killer when I need to have a good time, she can do soo much! To play against, I have to go with Nurse or Spirit. Yes, they are both very strong but it changes playstyle to mindgaming only: makes things predictable!
EDIT: I meant UNpredictable lol
But I like "Nea is The Entity" meme more than "Nea is a killer" 😁.

who said anything about a 15 second chase?
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
He's good. I'd say high B tier, just behind Ghostface due to him having a much faster stalk and better stealth (and more importantly both stealth and 1 shot downs simultaneously) and on par with the Plague (who has similar strengths but the details make them side grades)
I'd say Myers is the most basic Killer. His power doesn't give him some extra ability, but instead makes his baseline stats better.
Better (lower) terror radius, better vault speed and with tier 3 a better lunge, even better vaulting and double damage.
And of course Tier 1 can get Gen grabs sometimes with M&A's 0 meter terror radius.
It's nothing too fancy (unless you are using Addons of course) but it gives him an edge that many other Killers lack.
Tier 2 + M&A is only an 8 meter terror radius which means chases of under 15 seconds by default, which is MUCH faster than with most Killers (other top tiers being obvious exceptions). And things like vaults aren't quite as punishing for Myers so he can avoid long chases a bit better that way.
And then you have his Tier 3. Yeah it takes a bit to work up towards but is worth it for the instadown and extra lunge range.
Compare that to something like trapper who has:
- Long set up times like Myers
- No power before setup
- Easily disabled power after setup
- Payoff that may not even happen when setup is finished and uncountered.
The only thing he's missing is mobility, which pretty much everyone but Wraith and Legion outside of the top tiers are Missing
How a lower terror radius grants you a 15 seconds chase ? That doesn't make any sense.
-
Trapper : both ultra rare add-ons.
Wraith : purple add-ons for speed while cloaking and uncloak time.
Billy : Carburetor Tunning Guide + Primer Bulb.
Nurse : Ataxic Respiration + Catatonic's Boy Treasure/Fragile Wheeze.
Myers : both stalking add-ons.
Hag : Dried Cicada + Turtle Egg.
Doctor : Iridescent King + Mouldy Electrode.
Cannibal : Carburetor Tunning Guide + Primer Bulb.
Huntress : Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt.
Freddy : Red Paint Brush + Swing Chains/Nancy's Masterpiece.
Pig : Video Tape + Last Will/John's Medical File.
Clown : Flask of Bleach + exhaustion add-on.
Spirit : Mother Daughter Ring + Prayer Beads/Bloody Hair Brooch.
Legion : both duration add-ons.
Plague : Black Incense + Apple.
Ghost Face : both power recovery rate add-ons.

Billy is free

- The only tough part is downing the first survivor. You can always use your traps, and if when you hooked a survivor you already placed a lot of them, just replace them all if you think they can have a flashlight, and make so that all traps placed while chasing disappear. Placing traps takes 2 seconds, so it's a maximum of 20 seconds.
- Skilled killers won't allow you to rescue another survivor without getting grabbed in this case.
If you keep replacing your traps, the gens are gonna get down.

Myers.

Alright then, you all say that flashlights completely counter this build...what if I state they actually don't? This is true.
You just need to set all your traps near the hook, and once you hear the survivor destroying just 1 of them, just teleport to the hook.
And now what? You are face to face with the rescuer, who can NOT try to rescue if he doesn't want to get grabbed. And this only if they have a flashlight
If she uses all her traps at hooks, then her counter is simply : loop her. Seriously, how do you get downed by a 110% speed killer who doesn't use her power to actually down you. Her traps are anyway more unreliable in chases with Mint Rag then without it. If she places multiple traps, you can also just switch the place with the person on the hook, while the other 2 survivors do gens.

Ok so Nurse having 78,8% winrate in high ranks is not valid statistic in your opinion? OK bud.
Well, because Nurse has one of the lowest kill rates in 2 out of 3 platforms, then I will start to ask for Nurse buffs. And because Trapper has the third best kill rate, I will start to call him top tier.
-
@[Deleted User] said:

Hag's power is partly in hands of survivors so if they have flashlights, UE or are just destroying your traps Hag is in a bad spot, because she is a setup killer. She needs some time to make part of the map unsafe so taking everything I've said her power level is not consistant - she can nearly as good or even better than the Nurse or she can be stopmed. Nurse has consistant power level, because her ability is not in hands of survivors. Nurse also breaks the mechanics of the game to which even the best Hag has to adhere to.
That literally has no connection in our discussion. I said you shouldn't review a killer's strength based on kill rates, not when they are including all ranks.

Most people play Hag wrong - they place 5 traps near the hook and refuse to leave. LOL. I main Hag apart from Myers and I can tell you she is very strong killer. Survivors are lucky there are not many Hags out there, because she does not have to deal with a lot of bs on survivor side and can end chases quickly. Yes these winrates matter. Even Clown mains will tell you that Clown is in desperate need of QoL and buffs.
I never said Hag is weak, I said "do you consider Hag stronger than Nurse because she has a higher killrate than her ?" Or that Trapper is in top 3 ? They don't matter that much when there are so many factors that affects a match, like players skill, survivors greed and maps. By your logic, Nurse needs buffs because she has one of the lowest killrates in 2 put of 3 platforms.
-
@RakimSockem said:
lmao, I really just found a whole thread of people saying snares are better than pallets. I must be in the twilight zones. Yall matches apparently don't run the same way mine do.
When my friends and I get a Snare Freddy, we collectively relax and feel like it's an easy game.
When we get a pallet Freddy, we're on edge all the time and more often than not, get wrecked.
Because Dream Snares aren't that God tier as some people think, but they are still better than Dream Pallets whatsoever. However, good survivors can deal with both.

Clown has the lowest killrate on all platforms out of all the killers. He IS the WORST killer in the game. Let that sink in for a while.
Hag also has the highest killrate, that makes her the strongest killer in the game ? Or Trapper is now stronger than Nurse and Spirit because he has a higher killrate ?!?
-
Mother Daughter Ring is arguably the strongest Spirit add-on and I suggest you to try it before saying that it's weak. This add-on is really dirty, especially with Bloody Hair Brooch or Prayer Beads.
-

You know Nurse isn’t getting a rework right? A rework means changing the entire power and what it does (Freddy and Legion). Nurse is just getting add-on changes like Trapper, Wraith, and Hag did. Maybe a SLIGHT adjustment to her power like how Hag and Trapper set traps faster than they did before.
People throw around the word rework and don’t know what it actually means.
I don’t see Clown getting a complete rework. Just slight changes.
Well, devs said Legion didn't get a rework, he got an "update".

5 seconds at 7.04m/s equals 35.2m, which means if she sees you with BBQ she can't reach you with phase walk unless she has add-ons.
Nurse blinks range are just 32 meters, so even her can't reach you with BBQ without range add-ons.
