haha I love this, well done!

We can't guarantee that there will be cross progression between PS4/Xbox & PC I'm afraid. The only thing we can say with certainty is that there will be cross progression with Steam, Switch & Stadia. We would like to have more cross progression options available but for now that isn't happening and we can't say if it will ever be able to happen.

thanks for posting that @HamletEagle
-
Doc, it's purely because I get a headache if I play him and I struggle when I play against him as a survivor as well, it's the noises and the lights that cause me issues.
I don't enjoy playing as Hag, but I can play her (only for dailies though).
There's not many survivors that I won't play, but I do prefer to play the female characters - I find the movements to be smoother, less bulky. It's probably all in my head, it's just what I feel when playing as them.
-
Sorry that you're not having fun with the game, hope you find something you enjoy playing.
-
It happens sometimes that you're going to lose a match, I just accept that the other players were better/made less mistakes and move on to the next match.
-
There is a sound cue when Deathslinger ADS's but the issue is probably that most good Deathslingers don't actually ADS, it's more of a quickscope...and the ones I know, don't use software etc, there's really no need same as with the Huntress.
-
As we don't promote Unsportsmanlike Behaviour on this forum, I'm closing this thread.
-
@Demonl3y I've moved it as requested, please next time if there's an issue flag your post as if to report it, so that the moderator who's on will be able to deal with it. The Developers do not move/moderate the forum.
-
This forum is for the Core Game only (so PC & Console) if you wish to contact DbD Mobile please use their official channels - https://dbdmobile.helpshift.com/a/dead-by-daylight-mobile/?p=all Thank you.
-
Right now there's no way to buy codes, they are given out by Fog Whisperers plus the codes we give out on our Social Media channels.
-
Freddy has an add on called Black Box where a survivor starts in the Dream World and cannot be woken up.
What add ons was the killer using?
-
I love BBQ same way as I love Bitter Murmur - I use information perks in general as I find them the most useful to me in game, I usually use either BBQ or BM. Yes of course the points are a part of it, but the value I get from the perk in match, is so worth it.
-
Sorry you feel this game is no longer for you, hope you find something else that you enjoy.
-
The text of this perk was changed, but the effect in game is as before. Not everything could be implemented in the last patch due to time constraints.
-
I haven't seen this happening at all as yet, but if you are able to get a video of it happening then please post in Bug Reports so that it can be checked out. (without video hard to tell if it's a latency/lag issue etc).
-
As we don't deal with the mobile game on this forum (only the core game) I suggest making the suggestion to the mobile team to make them aware of the issue that you are experiencing - you can contact them here: https://dbdmobile.helpshift.com/a/dead-by-daylight-mobile/?p=all

I am going to be very blunt here. It’s a half a** job to release these killers without their own chase music, they should all be released with all of their unique features and that includes their own unique chase music! Rather than releasing them with missing features then adding them later on, that’s a mediocre job e.g. The Plague, a high priestess from ancient Babylon has the basic chase music? Like why?? The doctor got his own chase music years later! That’s just UNACCEPTABLE!
Here’s an example for The Plague: https://youtu.be/XNrztBgogd8
We have never said we are doing individual chase music for all killers, it tends to happen when they get a rework
And whilst feedback is welcome, please keep your tone civil & respectful to the Developers on this forum - thanks!
Will close this as I see that you have made a thread about this already in Feedback section of the forum, there's no need to create extra threads.

I said the person has the right to play as they want to play. if they want to load in run to the killer and die every match its there dang right to do just that. if they want to hit esc and click leave match they have the right to do that as the leave match function is within the game. the game is a whole the match is just part of it. who cares if you are enjoying the game no one in this game cares about other peoples enjoyment that is clear enough. so deal with it and stop crying. I guess you could take your own advice if you don't like it " If you don't enjoy the game, then stop playing it"
This isn't correct. The LEAVE MATCH function is there for emergencies - not for when people get downed instantly, or don't want to play against a certain killer or against a certain survivor perk.
DC'ing is spoiling the game for the other players in the match who do want to play. And I do definitely suggest that if you are unable to play a match, don't even go into a lobby!
-
wired definitely, it's a lot more reliable. I wouldn't play online games on a wifi connection, the connection itself is rarely stable and can be affected by so many things.
I'm not near my router, so I've got around 25m of cable running between my pc & console and it works very well.
-
yeah I'm on Ultra and I can produce it - it's hard for me, cos I'm colour blind so seeing these differences is not the easiest thing :)
But I think we got it at least!
-
@VentingSylar we're having trouble reproducing this...was it on every map against Freddy, or any specific pallet spawns? Any information you can give us will be a great help.
-
We do not accept reports from the forum.
An in-game report must have been made, regardless of what platform you are playing on (yes you can report in game from consoles).
Then please forward additional evidence to Support to back up your claim: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

It's just laziness, it's butchered without that face.
The facemask was the sole reason it won, it was a great design, but EVERYONE wanted to see the changing Facemask.
I wonder how the creator feels about it.
No the facemask wasn't the sole reason it won - the designers chose the skin based on many factors and were aware of what they could/couldn't do with it when they chose the winning design.
I'm not going to comment on why this isn't being implemented, but I don't want false information spread.
-
hahaha, I do things like that all the time...checking it out now, thank you!
-
That's what I'm getting with the link...you can do a screenshot from the video if you like to save making anymore changes...especially if the tile number is visible. Thanks for doing this.
-
I know it's not sarcastic @GoodBoyKaru no worries about that. I can't see though how someone else searching a chest would affect your inputs to the struggle, even if it dropped their fps (the person who was looting the chest) it should have no effect on the person on the hooks game.
I've got a couple of people who play on Xbox so I'm checking with them as well to see if they've heard about it because I know it's not a bug report that I've ever seen etc.
-
This is something I've never heard of either and I can't for the life of me see why someone searching a chest would have any effect on the survivor who was struggling on hook?!
-
Compound 21 has not yet been changed, the text has changed on the add on but this has not been implemented on the Live build at the present time.
-
Hopefully it won't be too long before you can get new PC parts, we need more Demo players not less!

At the end of it, they always will say... "SO WHAT, DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW THIS GAME WORKS? THE DEVS DO NOTHING" ----- and i'm.... sort of... starting to believe them. No punishments are given out, even for people telling others to "Kill themselves". It's just getting to a point that's sickening.
They continue on their merry-way of abusing others, with not even the slightest slap on the wrist? While that person could be traumatised or even taking action with their 'recommendations'?
I'm basically asking, and sort of criticising if punishments are actually handed out, or taken seriously? From my perspective, and I've now got over 1.4k hours, these players have been doing it this whole time - every match, the same outcome.
Why is it, that the DBD community has no faith in bans / silences / any form of punishment for abusing others in this game?
I'm not saying this a killer / survivor argument, these people do it to EVERYONE.
It's sad to say that I've had to make a list of people who if I get in a survivor lobby, I will leave and search again. Unfortunately, I have zero control of my experience with who the killer is, since, I have no information in that part, but, THEY do.
TLDR: Does BHVR care about racism, abuse, and homophobia?
We do care about these things, that's why we have the report feature and if reports are made correctly yes these people are dealt with. It might be a temporary ban rather than a permanent ban and this is something that you won't see on their profiles etc.
I also edited your post because we do have rules here on this forum with regards to bypassing the profanity filter, there really was no need to put those words onto the forum.
-
It's one of my favourite cosmetics in the game, I think it's really cute and very well designed.
-
The video is not watchable - requires a person to be subbed before watching, so we are unable to view the bug report.
-
Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm glad people are having so much fun with The Blight - I think he's a lot of fun for both sides, so I'm loving it!
-
coffee, preferably Cappuccino and preferably on a drip directly into my bloodstream right now.
-
Please keep bug reports to the correct section of the forum. I can see you already created a post there earlier with regards to this.
-
The DbD Mobile Team is separate to the Core game (PC & Consoles) and as such, this forum is dedicated only to the core game. So please, any questions with regards to mobile, please reach out to them on their official sources: https://dbdmobile.helpshift.com/a/dead-by-daylight-mobile/?p=all

i could get on the site for a day.
none of us could, it was completely down.

Bugs are not categorised into either killer or survivor sided bugs for a start. Obviously we wish things weren't bugged at all, but that's not the case right now and the patch addressed the ones that could be ready in time for that patch. There will be other patches that address other bugs.
-
Links seem to be broken so things have been combined for now, we will hopefully get this situation resolved as quickly as possible - but no, definitely not hacked.
-
I have to draw attention to this, it does come up frequently. It's an add on, not a cheat.
-
We don't have an ETA on it I'm afraid and believe me we are as frustrated as you are, but this is out of our control.
-
Hag, always has been. She's also my least favourite killer to play as, I don't even do Hag dailies I just really don't enjoy playing as her.
-
I suggest asking them, regardless it's not an issue for this forum
-
but it won't eliminate camping, the problem of camping is way bigger than that - there's BBQ that is also there to help killers have information as to survivor locations...but whilst many killers still focus on the unhook instead of pressurising gens, that's why camping will still be an issue. So what you are proposing doesn't help with that at all.
-
Whispers is there to stop you wasting time checking on areas where there's no survivors - it allows you to pressurise the gens where survivors are, not as an extra mechanic to help camp.
-
I personally don't think that Whispers needs a change in the slightest, it's already a fantastic perk.
It would be way too strong if it didn't activate on hooked survivors imo...it will just make camping even more prevalent than it is now.

Oh the amusement.
Oh the irony.
I previously ranted that Blight was frustrating, far too difficult, didn’t make sense, and “why bother?!”. Like I just didn’t see the point to Blight at all, and 99% of matches were miserable the first few days.
I don’t know why I persisted despite really disliking him and not having any fun at all. But I’m glad I did persist.
He’s just incredible to play now. Fun. Tense. Exhilarating. I love how survivors simply cannot get away from you. You can always catch right up to them very quick no matter what tricks they pull.
Oh and nothing feels sweeter than a lethal rush they attempted to juke only to still hit them. Oh so sweet.
I'm really glad to hear this.
This is why we always request people to not make snap judgements about things and try things out to give it a chance.
I think The Blight is a lot of fun to play and play against, it just does take some time to get used to playing as him - his skill cap is pretty large I think.
-
Whether or not you are playing on PC or Console, the report system is the same and definitely does work. BUT we do require evidence for the report, reporting in game is mandatory (to ensure we can see the match definitely took place), then we would require video evidence for the actual report - more information can be found on this thread: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report#latest
-
I'm closing this as none of you seem to actually want to have a discussion and are just getting more and more argumentative.
It seems to always end the same way, some people are unable to accept another persons opinion and that's not on here.
