Evil Incarnate for me, because there's so much outplay to it (lockers etc) and you need so much Evil Within to reach it.
-
It's been so long since I've played Silent Hill, I keep meaning to go back and play it but with work and life, I seem to already have a ton of games that I own that I've not had chance to play yet.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the games, they were one of my favourites!

Due to not heeding previous warnings with regards to bumping posts on this thread, the topic is now being locked and further threads created will be deleted.
You have been heard, I have communicated already on this thread and told you that we would update when there is information available - you were also told this by a Community Manager.
Sadly, those of you who just wanted to bump the thread to make drama, have now caused the thread to be closed.
-
As mobile is an entirely different team I'd direct you to their Discord where you can place your feedback etc there.
-
Need an "other" section, for me it's Ghostface.
-
If you believe you've found someone cheating in your game then please use the in game report function and send additional evidence to Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
-
If you don't keep this thread on topic, it will be closed.
When we have information we will post it.
-
Sorry that you feel that the game is no longer for you, hope you find something else you enjoy playing.
-
The only information that we have on Cross Progression is from this thread for the moment: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/172863/breaking-barriers-with-cross-play-and-cross-progression#latest
Please note that Cross Progression will only be available on Steam, Stadia & Switch for the time being, there is no guarantee as to whether it will come to other platforms in the future.

I honestly WANT DIAHYPE NEA SHIRT CODE NEA CONSOLE
That one won't happen. Dia did not make the shirt public (it's not part of the Charity Pack) so it's down to him with regards to codes for it.
-
So you killed them and they are reporting you for exploiting a bug?
I can't see that sticking, I don't deal with reports but I'm pretty sure that you didn't exploit anything. From the way it's worded in your post, it sounds like the survivors were trying to farm points there and taking advantage of the situation - at least that's the way I'm reading it.
I've been stuck once and had a killer stuck once, both times we helped each other out then reset the match and carried on as normal. It happens, people get stuck by accident and then some people try to take advantage of it, most are pretty nice though and allow you to reset.
-
It can be pretty much anything that's in the game as @GoodBoyKaru said, Cosmetics, Cells, Shards etc.
It basically allows us to do these things for all Platforms now whereas before we could only really do it for Steam (Steam codes basically).
Fog Whisperers could giveaway Auric Cells for example when the Rift became available which is something they've never been able to do before.
-
@GamingHulk123 I never said you expressly insulted anyone. I closed the thread after deleting comments from there and answering the question that you asked. If you see from my post above, that's why I closed it. And we pretty much always close these types of threads because they go exactly the same way, because each user naturally wants the content creator that they think is the best to be represented and insults starts to fly for the other creators and the Developers get insulted as well - which is why people were warned on your thread and comments deleted and the thread closed.
I also answered your question with regards to feedback which was the point of your thread.
-
Threads are closed because they expressly break the rules of the forum - the one that you are referring to expressly was attacking the Developers and other Content Creators, which was visible due to how many posts I deleted from there.
-
Your thread was closed expressly because it was starting to insult Content Creators and the developers - posts that we don't tolerate on this forum in the slightest.
-
We close these threads because they all start to go the same way and I already deleted comments from that thread when people start putting their opinions on the Content Creators in question. We don't tolerate posts/threads who end up bashing other content creators - and I answered your question on that post.
-
Your question was answered, which is why your thread was closed.
We already have a couple of threads in Tech support where the issue is being discussed, the forum doesn't need to be flooded with everyone asking the same question.
The information available on this error is pinned on this very forum, which kinda makes the posts redundant.
-
-
Will message you privately to try to sort this out.
-
I'm pretty sure the Developers listen to feedback regularly - they do on this very forum. There's really no need to suggest people for them to listen to, they are more than capable of making up their own minds with regards to what needs doing with their **own game**
-
A fix for this is being worked on and will be released in the next patch - I don't have a date for that I'm afraid.
-
We do state that what happens outside of the game is not something we can take action on. We can access the chat logs within our game (so end game chat) but that any other chat offences have to be dealt with on the platform that it occurs on - we've always been very clear about that.
-
There's a globe icon next to the players name if they are playing on a different platform than yourself...but you can't tell where exactly they are playing from. For example if you are on PS4 and you see a player with the globe icon, that player could be on Xbox, Switch, Steam or Windows Store.
-
For these types of reports you will need evidence, video preferably but failing that get as many screenshots of the angles as you can and then report in game and then send the additional evidence to Support (it will get looked at) : https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
It's most definitely griefing.
-
Any suggestions go in the Sub Section entitled Feedback & Suggestions - they are read.
-
Please keep this thread civil and not make this personal, thank you.
-
Closing for obvious reasons!
-
What exactly is the problem that you seem to be having, it's working fine for me?
-
We are currently not able to offer cross progression from PC to Xbox or PS4 - and as explained in the screenshot we cannot guarantee that will ever happen.
-
People playing with other people in voice communications on Discord, is not cheating!
-
Without seeing a video it's obviously hard to establish if this was a genuine hack or not. That's why we request video evidence sent to Support to supplement the in game report with regards to things like this.
Please don't upload the video footage to the forums, we have specific Naming & Shaming rules for this purpose.
-
You need to have first made an in game report of the player, so that we can confirm that the match took place, then you can send your additional evidence, in the way of video (preferable to upload to YouTube first and use the link) to Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
-
Videos would be good to show any issues you have with the hit validation - just short clips is fine, it will really help.
-
I believe in order to get the trophy it needs to be a 4k plus a double pip for the trophy/achievement to be counted - is this happening?
-
And there was I thinking we had stopped bashing players from different platforms on this forum 😕.
Closing this as I don't see it as anything but an attempt to incite insults towards part of our community and I'm not allowing that to continue here!

@Orion if BHVR had a little tighter control over what is considered "unsportsmanlike conduct" I think 90% of the behavior would just disappear. They could probably just drop post-game chat (i know we can close it and most should) because little good comes out of it.
In game I would like for them to come up with small things to reduce stuff naturally, i.e.:
1) coming out of crouch takes a second and you can't spam it and teabag people
2) flashlight overheats or just burns out if you just spam the key, I mean serious some people click that thing 30 times in a second.
3) Hitting survivors on the hook extends by slowing down the progress meter.
Other such things like that...
But you're not talking about any behaviour that is going to be considered as "unsportsmanlike" now or ever.
So it just seems like you're asking for a block on players that are beating you in a game - which is exactly the reason that all this was essentially removed years ago.
I don't find any of the behaviour that you have listed there as being unsportsmanlike in the slightest and I would be very against implementing mechanics to change anything listed.
-
And this can also be abused by blocking good players - those players will never get a match again.
It used to be a thing way back in the early days that you could block a player on Steam and as you could see all other players then a lot of people blocked the people that were better than them.
-
Coins I used a lot in the challenges and when I am running a plundering build.
I don't tend to use oak offerings I find that hooks are really predictable at the moment anyway, so no real need to.
I always get worse luck when I use a Luck offering so I tend to never use those salty lips 😪

There's some useful information on this thread about how to record video evidence for a report: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report#latest
Please note, if you are on PC and have a Nvidia GPU I fully recommend using Shadowplay, it means that you don't have to be recording all the time, because at one click of a button (after you've set it up) it will record the last 20 minutes of the game, it's really perfect for this.
-
I'm loving reading through all these, you guys are just so creative with your ideas! <3
-
I love this Challenge, I'll pin the post if you don't mind...looking forward to see what everyone comes up with!
-
On the point concerning the original design, it's quite clearly listed in the rules that BHVR may adapt or modify the submission - so by entering the competition, that rule was agreed to straight away.
The winning design is incredible, and it's been adapted to suit/fit the character it's intended for and to work within the game.
-
When you DC from a match you ruin that match for 4 other players - that's why we have the DC penalty in place to discourage that kind of unwanted behaviour.
-
I'm going to say this must have been a bug...that's very strange though and the first I've heard of this happening. Shame that you don't have any video or anything of it, I would really need to see this.
I'll keep this thread open, in case someone else has experienced the same thing.
-
A bug report has been filed by this and it will be fixed.
-
In view of the direction that this post has gone, I think it's better to close it right here.
False reports are dealt with by Support & ACM's - it's up to them what action (if any) is taken. We do have chat logs so we can see what was said, so there's no worry that someone will get banned without good reason. We always make sure that we have proof before any action is taken.
-
Please remember that we do not promote Unsportsmanlike Behaviour on this forum, and that DC'ing at any time because you don't want to face something in game is most certainly not something to promote here.
-
I'm quite happy with the DC penalty and I've definitely noticed a decrease in people disconnecting from games since it's been back in place.
Whilst there are a few instances that you need to genuinely leave the match - IRL emergencies for example, these instances are rare.
And if there's an internet issue, the penalty is 5 minutes, which is enough time to get your internet back up and running without you probably even noticing the penalty. The Servers have very rarely gone down, and even Steam maintenance on a Tuesday doesn't kick people out of the match, it just prevents matchmaking from happening (meaning that you have to wait for the maintenance to be completed before starting a match). So I do think these are very rare occasions and the 5 minute penalty wouldn't affect you in these circumstances.
-
It's never been confirmed as to what would exactly come to the Store and on what date - hence saying a minimum of 6 months. I don't think anyone expected at that point to have been hit with a worldwide pandemic and have to spend most of 2020 working from home either.
We've all seen how many games have been put back through this year due to Covid, so I do think cosmetics not being placed into the store is a relatively minor issue for the time being.
