Shame it'll probably get fixed. It'd be a much better perk for it.

Welcome to dbd in a nutshell. Trainwreck of matchmaking and endless insults. Win or lose expect toxicity.

No, they don't affect boxes because it is a power. Not that you want TR effects when playing a STEALTH killer, who hides their TR for a lot of the game. Lullaby is also a Hex, so will be destroyed pretty quickly.
As far as I am aware too, Executioner's Cages of Torment also have skill checks that are unaffected by these perks. If it a power, then it's generally unaffected.
Survivors skillcheck perks do impact them however which is the problem. If the devs are going to deny killer perks then they should also prevent survivor perks who impact the same mechanic as well.
-
He already can't cage someone if they aren't tormented. If you mean the ranged attack that's probably one of the worst suggestions I've heard in a long long time. They'd have to completely rework torment into a permanent effect probably applied on m1s for that to work at all and it'd be a massive pointless rework.
-
I'd be fine with a few pride themed outfits for select characters. Could be a simple as a small pride earing or bracelet. I'd probably throw on a pride earing.

You're saying partial purchase would be better than no purchase which is indeed true. But in the same post, you admit that you bought a full outfit for Legion even though you admit you wouldn't have bought the knife if it wasn't a set. You know what's even better than partial purchase? Full purchase. You just proved that the tactic works.
Honestly the knife isn't bad or anything and it's not like I had another one as none of the other Legion cosmetics really spoke to me. It's nice enough just seems an odd thing to actually lock on a skin. Not like there would be clipping issues with other weapons. Just another reason to be extra picky about what linked skins to buy though. A single piece being forced on you is a deal breaker if I don't actually like it. Pyramid it's just the body I don't like and bam they lose 2/3 of a purchase because of that. It's a very risky business move, I wouldn't have bought my Jeff skin either if it'd have been linked to the rest, honestly I can say that about at least 80% of my purchases and I'm certainly a heavy buyer as far as skins and dlc go.
-
Probably Spirit and Freddy. Spirit can be zooming around the map faster than billy but with better manueverability with addons and mind game hard. Freddy is forever, no one's looping much or getting gens done vs forever Freddy. It's not even fun to try playing against because it's so long and pointless. Hags with shackles are definitely high up there too. It's seriously absurdly devastating.
-
It's always okay to tunnel if it's a freebie. If they didn't want to die they shouldn't be so available for murder imo. Generally you want to disrupt as many survivors as possible so always take the easiest opportunity offered for pressure.
-
Perk wise not much aside from inner strength. I do sometimes like to run a suture, sponge, medkit with stakeout if I'm farming bp to heal myself and others. Easy way to cap three categories with that build. I do like to stay healthy, especially with how much Jeff I play.
-
Generally inner strength unless it's totem cleansing time in the tome. Can he nearly impossible to run during those without a second perk dedicated to totem hunting.
-
Hope is decent to be honest. Easy loops, life saving, only works if you have already nearly won though so I don't run it. Same reason I don't run adrenaline. I prefer perks that will help me complete the gens rather than win more if we're already winning.

You seem to forget how people use iridescent shards when mix and matching.
That mixing with shards and cell cosmetics still earns more money than no purchase at all which was my response to the pyramid outfit not being mixable. It's a huge anti selling point. Even the Legion one I don't see why the weapon is included. I bought it because it's hilarious they made Legion a band of furries but if a set isn't that massive a change they probably won't be bought often.
-
Surveillance, ruin, pop, surge. Slap it on pretty much anyone and you are good. Essentially it's turning an entire build into an excuse to have surveillance on as many gens as possible as often as possible for that sweet sweet game winning info. You can never go wrong going all in on surveillance. Surge being the weird oddball regression perk that actually combos well with all three other perks kinda tieing it all together. Terrible on its own but covers the weaknesses of both other regression perks.
-
Hopefully they actually considered the game impact in a change to shack but I doubt it. Being able to see through shack is pretty critically important for both sides to the current state of balance.
-
Jeff and Plague. Jeff because duh and constantly spooking one of the members of my swf with my metal outfit is just too fun. Plagues design is just great, love her lore, love those sexy finger claws, and her chanting. Shame I suck at plague.
-
Just yes
-
I love lerries from both sides. Mutual mind game potential is a lot of fun. Fixated is one hell of a perk on that map. Not a huge fan of the game but it's alright. I like the new map well enough. I like the intentional inclusion of hiding spots.
-
As far as I can tell they do not have a quality assurance team. It's really the only explanation for the last few patches.
-
It's a real annoyance to deal with but instead of fixing it they just broke more sounds instead.
-
Annoying is literally his thing. I find a lot of survivors refuse to play around static blasts cooldown though. It's regular, dodged by closets or avoiding terror and often doctors are very predictable with it to boot. I tend to dodge more static blasts than ever hit me. It's not like you can get surprise shocked, you usually know immediately it's a doc just by the sound of his terror radius so even the first and ESPECIALLY the first should never hit anyone. Completely bypassing doctors massive cooldown main pressure and hunting ability effortlessly makes him imo easy to play around. Doctors tend to have a very bad time if multiple static blasts hit nothing and you should be making sure that happens. Lazyness is pretty much what doctor exploits and boy are survivors lazy most of the time.

Doesn't a global play when he cages somebody?
Definitely not what I'm talking about. Usually hear it, repeatedly, long before anyone is even wounded let alone caged.
@Owlzey said:
Pretty sure it's him doing his secondary attack, punishment of the damned. At least it sounds like it.
Could be I suppose. Hard to tell given usually you hear whatever it is across the map though. Should be added to the list of possibilities I suppose. Weird thing to global sound though.
-
I dunno, I certainly find it one of the more interesting maps. Seems to lean towards 4ks though.
-
I do find the smash bros thing pretty accurate throw everything in. I'll never get my favorite horror piece, Darkwood but the more they add the better though.
-
It's a massive often game winning threat if proxy camped.
-
Great insidious basement camper. Good at threatening against unsafe unhooks, seems to be his primary strength as far as strengths goes. None too special outside of his ability to punish altruism.
-
I do find it funny how many people rate nurse as god tier despite never actually playing her themselves. Has anyone actually seen a good nurse in their last 400 hours of play? Unlikely.
-
Flashlight squads do tend to be easy. Having someone hovering constantly, sometimes multiple someones makes the game last a lot longer.
-
Dunno why they just didn't global sound que it or something. Bloody highlighted gen.

Fair point. I didn't consider it might help the survivors find generators easier, especially on indoor maps. Though, let's be honest, gens aren't hard too hard to find and I would say a good majority of survivors know where to look anyway. I think it's a decent trade if it makes the undetectable status more effective.
In a game where seconds make a huge difference, saving time for multiple survivors repeatedly is a huge hit.

Idk what you mean, she's one of the best killers in the game. Tired of people saying she's low tier or whatever after the nerf.
She's not strong enough to be worth the inconsistency. She's constantly slowing herself down and has zero room for error despite map issues causing odd errors. Playing spirit is very similar result wise with a tenth the effort. Just gets more powerful with spirits more rediculious addon combinations.
-
Bloody complicated. You have a lot to balance, a lot of skills you need to practice, and a lot of decisions are controlled by survivors. Feels like constantly walking a tightrope.
-
She's terrible enough not to bother with anyway. Just another reason to never learn nurse
-
Would be a really strong time saver for survivors, especially on the harder survivor maps, can we just have a perk that doesn't help the survivors?
-
That's pretty ass for poor Pyramid Head. Hope they fix it or he'll drop hard in viability.

Man, the Entity never has been the same since it grabbed demogoran.
In a way you could say it started with Pig if anything.
-
Pyramids become a pretty good basement insidious character. Outside of a basement though people rarely get tormented anyway so I at least still get good worth out of my ds facing pyramid.
-
Them and clown can join together in the fursuit group. Still waiting on the survivor furry though.
-
I assume it's a bug same with my power always showing as plague at the end of the match. They seem to have broken it hardcore.
-
Even extremely busy with work I maxed it before the fourth tome even dropped. The tomes do most of the work for you.

If ruin is up you can't use pop though. Pop wouldn't be effective until ruin goes down.
Ruin is pretty much garenteed to go down. Gotta have the backup plan. It's good enough by itself to be worth 4 perks while it's up though so no biggy losing two perks for that ruin value and not having the game spiral out of control when it inevitably dies, sometimes 14s in is important. Now could probably drop surge but definitely not pop. You need at least one slowdown perk you can rely on.
-
Why not both along with ruin. Been my new go to on most everything.
-
Ya survivors ######### all the time. Just have a little bit of fun with insidious and see how they react. That poor Claudette at the exit gate.
-
I love them solely because the art piece that is the silver coin exists because of them. Let us flip them already, you know no one cares about the generic side of these coins, why does the generic get to face outward?
-
Honestly they should just remove the aura of the cage. Still be a strong ability but not a tunnel them through all three hooks instead just 2. Dunno how everyone let's themselves be tormented so easy though. I've only ever been tormented once so far by Pyramid Head.
-
I really don't understand how people get hit so often by blast. It has a predictable cooldown, many doctors will shock to find a new target after hooking. Hear terror after a hook, doctors due for another blast? Better locker up. Well timed locker dives mean you'll nearly never get hit. Gone many matches where I only hit madness 1 3+ gens in. I swear the idea of learning how something works and keeping track of timers is just something far too many survivors refuse to do.
-
The confetti flashlight is going to be very popular I think.
-
Certainly stopping me from buying Cheryl cosmetics and Pyramid Head cosmetics. Not looking forward to more locked cosmetics.

Doesn't Feng already have a bunny skin?
That one definitely doesn't count. Not furry enough. Would need one that goes a lot further than that.
-
Hahaha I wish I wasn't at work right now so I could see it! Now we need a furry survivor and we're golden.
-
While I've run it before beating it mostly just involves not just following them through the windows over and over. Need to break off and zone them away from it. Given killers hell with it but no one's ever given me trouble as killer with it.
