You can't balance the game without SBMM. Without accurate ranking of participants in a match, who can say whether a player is boosted by aiming for emblems, by tunneling someone out early, or by playing the most powerful meta they can. A current red rank game can be a mixture of people of less than 50 hours to more than 5000 hours, the difference in knowledge and skill are massive.

With good matchmaking trends could be established, where you could show that in a fair match with equally skilled players that one side has the edge if another, or that some maps are busted, that some killers perform better than others, or what perks lend themselves to more successful gameplay. All of this while being able to say that the data isn't compromised by bad matchmaking.

This topic is not about Rank Boosting and not about other Problems occuring not within the Range of SBMM. Those Problems are not related to SBMM and have to be treated individually.

Where have you heard that they are testing now Oo they announce their tests and made the last test a mess by resetting the data.

And of course there will be some negative feedback. Especially from streamer. They are to DBD what pro player are in league of legends. They only get to play against other pro players and have to wait quite some time for a match to happen.

But that is what it means to be the best of the best. What do you expect for them. That they get to play against noobs like now?

This brings me to your point about matching a 5,7k hour player against someone like us with roughly 200 hours. That is the problem of the RANK BASED matchmaking and thedchanic of widening the matching parameters with longer queue times. That is the mess we are given NOW.

And to the point of mixed lobbies of 2/3 mens and solo. Then the system would've to set up lobbies in accordance to the killers mmr and the range around that. For example your 1490 and the 734 together with two solo around 1100 and a killer with the same.

That would be a working sbmmr system. The swf is averaged with or without some correction factor for the possible communication (which should be dampened by balancing solo with swf via additional in-game information) and then the rest of the lobby and the killer is set according to that.

"This brings me to your point about matching a 5,7k hour player against someone like us with roughly 200 hours. That is the problem of the RANK BASED matchmaking and thedchanic of widening the matching parameters with longer queue times. That is the mess we are given NOW."...

Uhm Rank based? Look at this...

    Screenshot_1.png

If you mean this, then congrats, your wrong.

"And to the point of mixed lobbies of 2/3 mens and solo. Then the system would've to set up lobbies in accordance to the killers mmr and the range around that. For example your 1490 and the 734 together with two solo around 1100 and a killer with the same.

In theory this sounds good but practically this is unbalanced, because you dont play against the MMR Rating itself, you play against different skilled human beings.

And this example would only come to pass on swf which the system would've have to compensate in one way or another. It would've to take the act of playing together into account and sorry I also have to suffer in league of legends when I play normals with a buddy on high diamond/master rank but that is my decision and not the responsibility of the system (a reason why I don't play much with him anymore).

In a full functional sbmmr system there wouldn't be discrepancies of up to 700 mmr points in a full solo group.

There are Teams with only 2 premades or 3. There can be 1 or 2 random Survivors. So this makes it even harder for the System to balance.

"In a full functional sbmmr system there wouldn't be discrepancies of up to 700mmr points in a full solo group." - So thats why im getting matched with 5,7k hours Survivors, while im having 170 hours of DBD Playtime? BHVR is testing the new SBMM now or am i wrong?

I also have heared not very positive feedback from other Killers and even frome some Survivors.

Sweaty players are going to get paired with sweaty players. Isn't that how it's supposed to be like?

Please read the whole Text. Please look closer at the example of the Matchmaking:

    Survivor A : 976

    Survivor B: 1100

    Survior C: 734

    Survivor D: 1490

    Killer: 1075

The Killer has 1075 MMR so this represents his Skill level. Survivor D has a MMR of 1490 which is a massive difference in Game knowledge, experience and Skill Level! A Survivor with its strength, can make the difference, even though the Survivor Team is seen as Balanced for the Matchmaker. In fact it is not balanced at all. The Killer cant know which Survivor is good or not and Time is everything in DBD. Also Survivor C will get heavily overwhealmed by the experience of the Killer. This will lead to a total chaotic Match if this example Match goes live.

"Sweaty players are going to get paired with sweaty players." - You dont understand how the Game works. As i mentioned in my initial Post, the Game is unbalanced in low and high rank Games, depending on SWF or non SWF, so your comment doesnt make any sense.

I used to main him and then I stopped to main Trapper, but I was watching an Oni streamer & she kept flicking his kanabo while she was charging at loops & whatnot to get downs on people. I tried doing it but I just couldn't get it right. I want to main the most attractive killer in the game, but am I being limited because I don't use a mouse & keyboard?

Yes. 180 Flicks are neccesary if you get to higher ranks. 180 Flicks are not possible on Controller.

  • "It rewards Killers for playing Bad", "It gives Killers unearned Momentum..."

    OK.

If we blame the Killer for using Noed, we could also blame the Survivors for not cleansing the Totem. It doesn't matter if you had anti totem Perks or not - It's YOUR JOB to take care of it!

So with that said, i could just say, its your missplay Noed is still in the Game.

Lets look if we can find other Perks on Survivor Side, which offers free Escape Tools, instead of the Killer's free Kill Perks:

Dead Hard Is a single Button Press. You do literally nothing for this ability to dodge any type of Dmg which would have killed/downed you.

Unbreakable. If your wound is so severe that you can't stand up - use Unbreakable and just stand up! You can do it! No need for a Hospital... Oh wait, did you do anything for that perk? Yes, you are down on the Ground. Good Job.

Its rewarding Bad Habbits and Bad Gameplay too, Oh my God! Who could see that coming? :O

There are many other Perks on both sides, which you could flame but instead of flaming, you could just try to get over it and adapt your playstyle. I had to learn that too and it is in the Game, so why you shouldnt use it?

I personal dont run Noed because i think it is useless and the Slot would get me a better Perk and a better chance of winning, but i dont say you shouldnt use it!

Do you say the same thing when it comes to playing against stridor spirits or irihead huntress?

No, because Stridor will ger nerfed to the ground and Iron Will will get buffed, as always in the Survivors favour.

If im getting bullied (flashlight spam, Teabagging, Bodyblocking etc.) i just leave the Match. Thats it. I dont support toxicity, thats why i leave the match and i'll take the 5 mins Queue Timer :)

  • Perk: Iron will

    Character: Bill

  • @Bwsted said:

It doesn't. As killer, you don't see how much time they have left.

You will see the icon as read if the timer is running, or white when it's paused. The latter happens when the the trap is not yet activated, during a chase, in the dying state, or on hook.

    But the timer never resets.

    Thank you very much! :)

Is there a survivor perk that make you dissapear? I just played against a survivor that just disapeared infront of me. I couldnt see her and hear her anymore. How is this possible?

  • I think DS is too underpowered now but its hard to balance. They should have kept DS for selfheals (exclude healing other survivors) and pickup Survivors but exclude working on Gens imo.

You don't have to run those specific perks. Sloppy and Whispers are great perks for her and you can get it on anyone anytime. Mike and Plague have some good/fun perks so I would get them when you can as corrupt is a top perk and really helps certain killers a lot. What killers you have unlocked?

I got Oni, Demo and Nemesis. I switched to Pc and on Console i got nearly every killer but pig is new to me as i mentioned.

  • @GuyFawx said:

Out of wraith - pig - ghostface. i know spirit should be included too but her stealth is very situational mostly at the start of the match so thats why i didnt want to include her. i ask because im trying to get better at stealth kills and i am not asking who is easier just who has the better shock value and all that thanks

Tbh i would pick The Pig. Literally has the best potential to scare the sht out of the people. I had some Nightmare Matches as Survivor against the Pig in Public Matches.

Keep in mind that you will lose more Matches in High Rank compared to low and mid ranks, but the Fun Factor is great when playing her :)

It takes real guts to say you care about game health then make console DbD unplayable for multiple weeks.

Also had severe Problems on Console (Series X) such as bugs/glitches and tons of Frame Drops when Gens were finished.

So i moved to PC after a few months, because nothing had changed.

Never had any Problems again whatsoever. Also the Mouse and Keyboard Support is so much better for Killer AND Survivor, i never want to go back.

So i suggest you to maybe switch to PC too if you can.

I thought the FPS were really smooth there for the most part.

I guess "for the most part" means, it runs smooth if nothing happens on your screen.

  • You should try ark then 😂... Uhm the Thing is the next gen consoles have more then enough power to grt smooth 60 fps in 4k in every Situation, because the fps Drops only occur as Killer and Survivor i more of a Challenge to handle for the Hardware because of the limited field of view as Killer.

It has to be a bug or something like that. Im 100% sure, this can be fixed.

10 frames a ton when the game is suppose to run at 60 on the new consoles.

Why do people just eat up this game's ######### optimization? There's no reason a game that looks like dbd should run as bad as it does.

And yes, anything below 60 in general is bad.

I would rather want the Game to look worse but have stable fps in every Situation. This would be great.

  • @Hoodied said:

    Thats....thats not bad at all

On old gen we are stuttering, getting fps drops at random, sloppy butcher is giving us pauses again, getting hit sometimes pauses, and hell hex activations still drop fps, you literally went from 60 fps to like 50

It is bad. It is even worse for a competetive Game like DBD, where fps and reaction time means winning or losing the Match.

You wouldnt have a very noticeable difference between 60 and 50 on an Variable Frame Rate (guess its called vrr and on pc its called g-sync) Monitor/TV, because Hz and frames will be synced by the Display, so even if it drops like 10 fps you would not notice it.

So this means its gotta be more than 10 fps. It looks more like 40-45 fps and compared to a PC Player in DBD, which can use 120 hz/fps, you are pretty much screwed in a Crossplay Title.

it is quite paradoxical, because i never faced this problem as Survivor and Survivors (cpt obvious, i know) play in 3rd person view, which means way more fov and more objects and textures to handle for the gpu and cpu.

  • @Dstorv said:

    literally unplayable

This might look like a minor problem for you in the video, because thumb stick movement is so slow to show the frame drops, but ifyou are in a chase with limited fov as killerand someone is trying to 360 you, you have a problem.

I rly dont know why some people here cant see the frame drops. Its stuttering like hell near finished gens.

I dont have frame drops as Survivor, only as Killer whatsoever. No idea why that is.

By me was it just exactly what I wanted and it had maybe also help that I could personally relate to my main.

I know, that is not much explaination, but I don't know what to say more. If you really like something, you stick to it and if it goes away, for whatever reason, nothing else can compare for you to that.

So that you have a bit about of data from me: I have play to my high times around 4-10 matches each day, depending on the time I had, or also my mood, until the killer got reworked and beginning with shortly after release of this killer chapter.

90% or more of that time was with this one killer. The rest was with mostly Meyers, Clown, or Trapper and in rar cases Survivor. I have for sure sometimes also play other killers, but that is not comparable to my main, or the other killers I mentioned.

You see... If you have found what you like, you have no problem to waste with this character your time, imo :)

I know ._. There are so many Killers i want to try but well, if i play them the first few times and without meta perks, while getting matched with bullies, its very frustrating so i always have to stick with Nurse if i want to get some BP and tbh Nurse is way too sweaty to play her like 1 hour straight or 2 hours.

So in order to farm Bloodpoints to get other Killers' teachable Perks, i have to hard spam Nurse and that ruins the whole point of having fun for me as i dont want to be matches with red ranks and sweat like them.

Seems like i havent found my true main Killer Character yet but i also dont want to grind out the whole stuff against bullies.

  • @Phasmamain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2132724#Comment_2132724

Well it kinda depends then. If I still enjoy using the power I’m still going to enjoy the match

You mean you enjoy whats left of the Power (after the base kit nerf).

For me another Problem (which is a bit OT) as Killer was the fact that the Kits of the Killers are kinda limited in playstyle if you can say so. So you have to play in a certain style which is so boring after a long period of time, so i started switching and tried other Killers if i like playing them. I enjoyed playing twins as they are so versatile and they offer a well rounded kit.

I had Freddy all the time on like lvl 3, because even he is/was considered to be OP, i never had fun playing as Freddy because his playstyle is so dull. Its like Bubba... Man, who the hell can enjoy bubba for longer than 10 Matches in a row? 😂

Survivors are not bound to a Base Kit or something like that in terms of having special abilitys, so i can play whoever i want and can still be Top Tier...except for bill i guess lmao. The fact that i can build my very own Survivor and Gameplay Style is game changing for me.

As Killer im always bound to my kit. I have to playlike the way, that is set from the devs and cant break out of that pattern to play like i wanted to. That may sound weird because Killers are all about their Abilitys, but as i mentioned before: After playing a Killer for 100 or even 500h+ i cant imagine having fun anymore.

I would like to know how you keep your Killers Kit & Playstyle fresh and enjoyable...?

  • @Phasmamain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2131391#Comment_2131391

I also main survivor but that’s just because I prefer the playstyle.

SWF that are all good are very rare even in red ranks so it’s just something I accept. I’ll try my best and if I lose I lose so what?

If you lose because of a nerf to a swf team, which already has a strong advantage you still have fun?

This excludes the fact that you lose matches and you win matches. Losing matches is normal and i dont mean this!

If i know im losing because of a nerf, its frustrating and has nothing to do with fun.

  • @Phasmamain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2131195#Comment_2131195

Clown. I’ve mained him for like a year and a half and average a 3k

Im was Nurse main and my avrg was also around 2.6k on console and around 3.5k on pc but this has nothing to say in this kind of discussion. Literally nothing. Every Survior Team is different and even swf teams can play bad or worse than you and me.

The point is: If they let you snowball the Game, its the Survivors fault. Good swf Teams will destroy you no matter what you are going to do and also rank doesnt matter as much because its so simple and easy to reverse boost your rank but overall im talking about red rank Survivors.

So if BHVR still thinks Killers have to be nerfed, then they clearly dont know their own Game because Swf Players got plenty of tools and Perks to counter every Killer. Its a matter of how good they communicate and playing as a team. For example in Tournaments Survivors get handicapped like only doing gens if not wounded or only 1 specific perk of a kind and so on. Why is that? Its because the Killer wouldnz have any chance without those handicapped Survivors.

So most of the Killers understand this and more and more Killers are quitting or join the Survivors. Of course there are new killers constantly coming to play dbd but those are not enough to shorten queue times and thats why queue times are so bad.

Yes. You can win most of your Matches (3k or more) against random Survivors without voice communication and so on but against good swfs, sometimes you can go afk. For me personally it was the right decision to switch to the Survivors because after the hard grind to the meta perks, things got so easy for me and even without a Group im doing well.

  • @Phasmamain said:

I don’t let someone pressing ctrl repeatedly get to my head like a lot of other people

So which Killer do you play?

  • @Phasmamain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2130835#Comment_2130835

But if I still enjoy using clowns power I’m going to keep playing him

So you enjoy to lose the majority of matches after a mahor nerf and also getting flash light spammed and teabagged? Well as Survivor this cant happen to you because Killer doesnt have BM Mechanics besides M1 on hooked Survivors, if you even can call this BM. If you can enjoy this, then its great. So if more Killers Think like You, then i will probably have shorter queue times as Survivor :3

Thats one of many reasons i switches to Survivors recently and it works well for me, even tho i got long queue times. I rather wait long for a match and have a great time, than having a stressful gameplay. Meanwhile most Killers are sweating for their lifes and i rly dont want to have this kind of "Gameplay" anymore but this is another story.

  • @Phasmamain said:

I main a killer I enjoy. If they nerf clown would I stop maining him?

I didn’t stop playing billy after his rework either because his power is still fun

Actually YES. If i would main the clown and they nerf him to the point where i feel like i could nog compete against Survivors in my Rank bracket, i would drop the Clown and probably switch to Survivors, because Surv get 1 Perk nerfed (ds) and get 1 or more top tier perks instead, which one of them is beyond broken.

They just get Lucky Strike, which is actually more op then DS was and nearly no one is playing DS anymore. I sometimes still use my ds but it feels like i HAVE to stick with the Meta and grind for Lucky Strike in order to perform well for my Rank in the Future.

So its the same Problem with the Killers except for the fact, they sometimes nerf the base Kits of the Killers, which is like nerfing the base movement speed of the Survivors or nerf their fast vault speed, which would be ridiculous.

  • @oliviaa said:

He's not my main, but he has a few things unique to him that make certain perks work in ways people don't expect.

Basically, when you melee somebody off a chain, it counts as a "basic attack", so perks that work off basic attacks will behave normally after you reel them in.

So things like Starstruck, Dragon's Grip, Make Make Your Choice, ect - all proc after reeling players in and connecting with a melee attack.

However, you better be on point with your snap aim and ability to lead, because he's not as forgiving about hits as the huntress is.

I also tried Huntress but i feel like its easier for me to Hit someone as Deathslinger because Huntress needs to "charge" her throws and the Survivor simply will loop behind an object forever if i hold the Aim Button down

  • @AggressiveFTW said:

I want to know how the gameplay experience is like. Is it much different from Xbox One S/X? Is the main menu much faster?

I got a xbox series x and played DBD a lot. You most likely will have some frame drops here and there (mostly in corn fields and near fully repaired gens.

Also you cant use Mouse and Keyboard unless you got an adapter for it, because there is no MnKB Support implemented.

So the Thing is: The Game itself is great. I love playing but i switched to Pc because its a competetive Game (at least in higher Ranks) and with Controller (even some players prefer it for Survivor Gameplay) its not that great. I can do 360s on Pc with no effort and on Controller i can do it in like 4/10 times correctly. Another thing is you can loop easier with Mouse and Keyboard (very tight pathing) compared to Controller and this can ruin your loop. Also if you Plan to play Killer a lot: Get it for Pc. There are some Killers, that require precise aiming like Nurse, Huntress or Deathslinger for example.

So If you are mostly a Survivor Player then you can 100% get the Game for Xbox Series x and have a great time and a great gaming experienfe there...but dont expect to do well as Killer in High Ranks. You CAN do well but this comes down to each Individual Player and preferences.

Even better, tournaments have to apply insane house rules to survivors to make sure the killer gets to play the game. "No more than one of any perk." "All survivors must be healthy before you work on the first two gens." Psychotic ######### like this that still leaves the killer struggling. SWF just needs to be removed from the game, it fundamentally breaks Dead by Daylight.

This is a joke right? They need to get handicapped so the Killer has a Chance? lmao

End-of-game chat for consoles... well practically it doesn’t exist. Because console players can’t chat fast enough since they need to use controllers and their system’s specific keyboard. But I have an idea to work around this, at least somewhat; Quick Chats.

In some other multiplayer games there is a quick chat option that you can use to send messages in the game, lobby and gameplay, and this is true for PC and console titles that have it.

Namely - and I know everyone is sick of hearing about this game from me, but - For Honor has this system. There are twelve chat options that range from random things like ‘good fight’ to objective instructions like ‘Go to Zone A’ or whatever. You can even string multiple together like “Zone A” “I Got This!” to try to tell others that you’re going there. I don’t know if they understand though, in my experience nobody has responded.

Anyway, this system exists on PC and console. On PC these quick messages take up the same text box as text chat does. This doesn’t matter much though since Ubi refuse to cross play For Honor but whatever.

We could do premade chat options for Console Players to communicate more easily, at least somewhat. Now originally I was gonna say we could have premade defaults and customs but the custom ones would probably result in entirely anger-centric chatting more than For Honor’s signature ‘Wow! Wow! Wow!’

There can be some default chats for pre-match and some for after-match. Something like “My perks are [game auto-inserts perks]”, or “My Rift challenge is [game auto-inserts rift challenge]”, or “My Daily Rite is [select one of three]”, just to name a few. You could also add stuff like “Do generators as much as you can,” and general advice like “Eyes open,” “Be careful,” “Good luck,” and so on. After-match can be similar like “Good luck in the Fog”, “You played well”, “I like your build”, etc etc.

The quintessential stuff. Nothing too special or overloaded. I don’t trust our community to handle custom chats the way they could be so I recommend those being omitted if BHVR takes this advice and adds this concept to DBD.

This can be integrated for all consoles and for PC. For PC players who are slow at using their keyboards as much as for console players who can’t use a chat box.

    What do you think?

    Edit: Words

    Sounds like a good idea!

  • @xenotimebong said:

I’m not talking about accidentally losing someone and having them bleed out, or slugging someone a couple of times and their timer naturally expiring, or survivors who crawl into a corner with no hooks on purpose. I’m talking about killers who down someone, and then stand over their downed body for several minutes until they bleed out.

Why is this acceptable to the devs? It serves absolutely no purpose except to grief someone. It’s rude, it’s toxic and it has no justification in terms of game mechanics. So why is this not bannable?

And please don’t say “well you’ll bleed out eventually”. I don’t think that’s a good justification to allow griefing behaviour. If someone has video evidence of a killer doing this, when it’s clear that they could easily hook the survivor but refuse to, I don’t see how it can possibly be justified.

I do this sometimes when someone managed to sabotage a hook. I throw the Surv back to the ground and now i know: If i pick him/her up again, he/she will wiggle off, so i HAVE to wait. This is a more or less stupid mechanic.

I mean i dont do this on purpose, because first off its kinda lame and unfair and second i dont even want to wait like 5 minutes or so. Who the hell wants to wait that long? 😅

I think there might be a solution for that. They could implement holding down a button to bleed out a bit faster. I dont know, maybe there ard other ways for fixing this too.

If you're a good killer you don't really lose in this game, you always win. There are no situations where there is "No experience" for both sides.

No. In Tournaments most Killers are forced to play Nurse and sweat their a** off to have any chance. Why is that? Its because swf is stronger then a single Killer could be.

Also dont forget a Killer has to be as strong as 4 Survivors, because its 4v1.

  • Step 1: Give everyone (Survivor) Voice Chat ingame.

Step 2: Treat every Surv as swf (in Balancing terms)

Step 3: Buff Killers slighlty. Something like ~ + 0.15% Movement Speed for every Swf Team mate in the Lobby. If we would say there are 4 Surv together and +0.15% Movement speed, this would mean +0,6% Movement speed in a 4 Man Group.

I think like 0.5-0.6% Movement speed is okay to compensate for swf advantage. But i feel like this can not be the way to treat this Problem because this could cause issues with muscle memory on some loops and timing and so on.

I have been playing for 4 years and still get killed easily I mean do you want the devs to remove ALL the looping stations so you can get kills? Also if survivors are truly so powerful then why are you playing killer

    1. Use Cannibal to face camp, drop down your rank.
    2. 4 kills all newbie survivors with no gen has been repaired.
    3. Don't forget say "EZ" in every round.

In this survivor version, an 2000+ hours killer cannot kill 3 or more 500 hours experienced survivors now, and bug factory don't do the balance, even they still nerf killers, gen are still repaired quickly and easily.

You should kill all newbie player and toxic them which experienced survivors are doing, break their heart and let them quit this trash game, you are doing good thing.

I would do this all day long but i rather would not want to be banned for afking (hook camping).

I mean...no one gets banned for playing perk roulette or playing without perks or just playing bad, without sound. Just Handicap yourself and have fun.

Or just try out new Killers or you could learn to land your blinks with Nurse (if you never played her).

    Something like that.

Also i agree with you, that you have almost no chance against good high rank swfs if you dont play Nurse like a young god like Alf. The Game is Survivor sided with all those second Chance Perks. Killers only got one Second Chance Perk named NOED, but this can be countered with "Small Game" after 4.7.0 released or just simply by cleansing totems.

Thats a fact and if you want to play always that sweaty as Nurse but win most of your matches or if you want to have a chill and fair gameplay, but lose more often is your choice.

If the Freddy nerf and the Lucky Strike, Small Game Perk Buffs going love like they are on Ptb like now, im switching to Survivors, because this is too broken and you also dont need to button mash anymore (which is great, dont mind me wrong). Couldnt play Survivor because of wrist pain when button mashing.

So with all that said, i think you should also consider just to switch to Survivor Side and learn 360 and looping as it is all it takes to team up with Mates and have a great time.

At minimum the perk just needs to give the person rescued zero collision for the duration. This means it's even better for anti-tunnel because it can avoid double hits like Bubbas saw, while simultaneously taking out its abusive use of blocking for other people.

Also give them no clip for objects, so they can run through walls while bt is active 👍

Bt ruins the Idea of the Game. Vote 4 nerf.

Hello! I have been playing Twins since their release and I was hoping to get some extra tips on pouncing mechanics and general advice on perks :)! I don't slug with them and have had a lot of success in not doing so, but I also struggle with pounce mechanics and have literally flown halfway across the map when I'm standing next to a survivor ;w; The cat figurine is too distracting for me so I'm just wondering what your strategies are and all that. Thank you in advance and also,,

    take this cursed image <3

So the Problem might not only be your aiming with Victor its also the Matchmaking because the Survivor Ranks can be very different each Match, so this means the gap between faking directions or just faking the Fake is big. Your best bet is to watch how the Survivor moves and how experienced he or she is. If they just run, then go for the straight jump. If they wiggle with A and D while running, then you probably have to mindgame it or react very quick. There is no short or fast way to predict where someone will dodge.

For the Perks i would suggest you trying out the following:

    • Thanatophobia
    • Sloppy Budger
    • Pop Goes The Weasel
    • BBQ & Chilli

Imo Its the best arroundee build for every Situation. I would not recommend gen regress builds with undying and ruin because of the massive undying nerf.

You can always profit from the build i suggest you because no one can take away anything from you, so its also a very safe build.

So if you teabag a killer and then if they get aggravated, then your in the world of hurt. I just see that other survivors doing it at the pallets and then you get downed by the huntress or the nurse. and if you think that's funny, then you will get on the killer's hit list it and then you don't know that you can't admit that you teabagged at them. Just telling you that if you think that teabagging is a common difference? Then your gonna get moried or they just hook camp you. Just to give you infomation that it could give you an advantage, but you will be in the killer's hit list and then you don't know why that they hook camp you or mori you a lot.

    Its just a mechanic.

  • Do you have any links to that?

  • @Mileena_Kahn said:

Thanks for finally fixing him devs! (: couldn’t ask for anything more. Hopefully this means a decline in Freddy matches overall.

"Thanks for ruining his basekit completely, so i can win."

  • @HommeBizarre said:

So a while ago, the devs had this awesome idea to remove the possibility of changing the killer we will play in a match if we found a lobby...

Thing is, why are they forcing us to quit the lobby when we clearly understand that the killer we picked up isn't strong enough against the survivors we are going to face?

I mean an exemple, I pick the wraith. Then the game find me a 4SWF squad... WHY AM I NOT ALLOWED TO JUST PICK THE NURSE ??!!!!!

I understand you are having a bad time but i as a Killer Main have to say, it would be kinda unfair for Survivors, if you could just react live to their pics/equipment other then Changing your addons, perks and so on.

Changing your Killer means Changing your strategy completely and this would mean that any Match for Survivors would be negatively affected.

I dont think this would not work well for the Game Balancing. Sure the Game is probably Survivor sided but this has to be fixed in other ways, because swf is one of the bigger Problems of DBD Balancing.

  • Just give Survivors a voice Chat (ingame) and then buff killers slightly ir nerf survivors slightly (real swf). This needs ti be gentle. I could imagine just tweak it and then review it and tweak it again if something needs to be adjusted. This has not to happen in ONE Patch. Its better, we get constant small improvements, then many changes which will affect every other change in a bad way.

Wenn du dafür sorgst das alle Spaß haben und keinen killst, sorgst du mit dafür, dass Leute im Rang aufsteigen die da gar nicht hingehören.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/de/discussion/comment/2098007#Comment_2098007

  • i mean its an Autohaven Meta right now. Autohaven is a big map so max blink distance is very good there.
