nah he always had this level of zoning. just by walking around due to the insta-ADS you'd zone people through simply existing. take into account latency and a good slinger would have you speared before theyd have even moved on your end. his ability to quickscope was his zoning, and now his ability to walk while ADSing is his zoning.

all they did was change how he has to zone.

Yeah i mean he could zone but this is due to his power. I mean you could simply remove his gun and put him on survivors side. Doesn't matter anymore 😅

  • @legacycolt said:

Ok but let’s turn off Nurse in that weekend too ok?

Yeah so pretty nuch nobody can compete anymore with high mmr bully squads xD

    Great Idea 👍

  • @Regulus47 said:

I never see him anymore but he hardly even got nerfed. He's much more fair now and is still an absolute MONSTER in chase if you can aim, so what's the problem? He's actually kind of fun(?) to go against now. Please more of him instead of huntress haha 🙏

"He is still an absolute MONSTER"

    ???

His only way to play him properly got removed - Quick Shots while kind of sneaking towards gens with his low terror radius.

He has 0 Map Preassure. That's why Slinger mains had to play him like that. Ot was the only viable option in higher ranks/mmr.

Now you don't see him, because he is dead( in high mmr).

  • I think Trickster is way too strong in 1v1. They should nerf his 1v1 and buff his Map Preassure.

    For example:

    - Increase horizontal recoil while stacking throw speed up to 12%. This makes Trickster harder if you just spam your knifes without taking a break.

    - add an effect for his lullaby:

For every Survivor inside his terror radius, Trickster gains +3% extra gen regression for kicking a Gen.

    Easy 😎👌

  • Hmm i have no problem with The Game. I love the Map design, as Survivor and as Killer.

Played as Blight today on my xbox against a cheater which had infinite unbreakable (he had no unbreakable in his perks) over and over again with soulguard. Still got 4k.

I think the Map on its own is pretty balanced unless rng strikes and give Survivors god loops right next to another god loop. This will be fixed in the next Patch(es). There are new patch notes out there, you should check that out.

Can we for once stop using the word "abused" for people just playing certain Perks? Abusing or being abused are things which are not nice at all and not part of any game.

Saying that people "abuse" Perks because they just use them because they are good is just dumb.

Its a common term in gaming, just look at other forums of other games or just look at reddit. Its often used to describe things/mechanics which are too strong.

If something is too strong you can also often see people use "busted", or "broken" to describe something. However this doesn't mean that those things are not functioning as the words would suggest.

Pls stop taking everything word by word. Thanks 👍

  • Try to be faster with slugging than they can recover from it. Good Luck tho.

  • 100% with your opinion. This should be default. It feels like the game was designed to run at 2x BP.

  • @dnj510 said:

People still use Stridor and not everyone uses Iron Will.

    "...not everyone uses Iron Will."

Well, that's because there are even more broken OP Survivor Perks which want to be abused.

Can't wait for Unbreakable 4 everyone, including the Killer after he got a heart attack from seeing the Patch notes. 😜

By the way. I didn't see any Killer at all using Stridor after the nerf but to be fair, i didn't see many Killers run Stridor before the nerf.

I'm sure there's more rules than that, because if the other 3 survivors just wanted to rush gens they will get them done very easily while the first chase is ongoing. Then again I'm also sure that the list of "tournament viable" killers can be counted on one hand...

Yes I didn't say there is only that rule but I wanted to make my comment a little shorter, as most of the people wont read insanely long comments :)

  • @BadLooperQ said:

Quick answer: Against Solos... Nope.. they can massacre everybody if they play right.

Against coordinated SWF's specialized on killer harrasment, things get a little rough indeed. Yet this doesn't apply to Nurses, Blights and Spirits.

I think you're wrong. Why should it not affect certain killers? good and coordinated swf are prepared for every killer they may play against.

  • @coolmacc said:

Seriously who are these people complaining on the forums that killer is to hard mmr is giving me crap teammates and competent killers a few mistakes and killer has an easy 4K. All the killers on here whining are entitled

    So you get bad teammates.

This can happen if you are just not good too or the mmr system is not quite finished yet. Spoiler: It's the mmr system :>

This happens all the time, no matter if i play Killer or Survivor. I can smell those Lvl 1 Bills everywhere 😂

    Jokes aside.

The MMR System is doing some strange stuff since it got released. I have had also good (Balanced) Survivor Teams tho.

So it happens sometimes that you get Mates or Killers, that are way out of your mmr range.

  • @Sideralkchudo said:

I've seen some posts here and on other sites saying, in summary, that playing killer is currently boring and "unbalanced" (I don't know why an asymmetrical game has to be balanced LOL), but as a killer main, I usually got 3k or 4k in each match, and when I play survivor, it's the opposite, I rarely escape the match ( unless the killer camp or tunnel me of course). Even some times I think the killers say that because they don't like to lose in this game.

It depends on your own rank.

In my opinion its like that:

In low ranks Killers are OP and absolutely the power role.

In Mid MMR the game is pretty balanced.

In High mmr the game os heavily Survivor Sided (Swf is broken op).

In fact Swf is so op in High mmr, that Survivors get handicapped in tournaments, so the Killers have at least a very small chance for get like 3-4 hooks (or 1 kill). They have rules like: Survivors may not repair a gen if they're injured.

So this on its own should provide something to think about the balancing.

  • Maybe BHVR will eventually take care of those "longstanding problems".

  • I really dont know why you guys face hackers that often. I saw like 4 or 5 Hackers in like 6 months.

  • @Ssajbambusa said:

    Honest question

I think he wasn't even viable before on bigger maps. He was a good Killer on smaller sized maps tho.

He did not need a nerf. Never had Problems as Surv against most Deathslinger-Players.. The only problem with DS was the Noed synergy. Every other aspect was Ok imo.

  • @Dino7281 said:

Sure, nerf med-kits to the ground first, then we can talk about it.

Also remove effect of flashlights for Hag, Wraith and Artist.

Thank you, wanted to say the same :D

I want to see how many hooks, not hook states or kills actual individual hooks.

This is the only stat I care about and is the only stat we should view as a balancing point.

Split the stats in Low, medium and high mmr. I want to see which killers are actually able to do multiple chases, downs and hooks at each skill level.

    I think that's a great idea!

  • @tenoresax said:

Yup, but even at 100 it won't let me catch people who simply turn left and right in the open, that's just how it be playing controller Blight.

You're right. Scoot Surf and Moonrush are the only viable 180 options i guess. At least for me they seem to work but not always.

The Guides online show that Pc players can flick a little further i guess.

  • Thank you guys for your help! That's everything i needed to know :) <3

    Have a good day

  • @Brimp said:

I usually use 1000 dpi but for flicks I just crank it to 16k (from a dpi switch) because even though dpi has little influence on how far you flick anymore,I can't be bothered to pick up my mouse then swipe it again mid flick since I don't have that much space.

    Thanks for your help.

I don't have much space either so i have the same problem.

How do you switch the dpi? Do you click the dpi switch once for a change and then click it again to be on 1k dpi or do you hold the dpi switch for the dpi change?

I tried it with a standard toggle switch on my mouse but this is not very fun to use for me. Thats why im asking for.

Is there a way to have a non toggle dpi switch, so while holding down the button -> change dpi?

What i'm trying to say is: rework corrupt so it isn't on a timer (and blocks four gens), and make it basekit. I think it would deal with gen speed problems; and make bt base kit for survivors to deal with camping-tunneling. With those changes, you'd have in-built mechanics to deal with those difficulties.

I think both Corrupt and BT are fine how they work.

I agree with you that Gens pop too fast in high mmr Matches. In low mmr Matches they cant even get 2 gens done before they die.

I know that because i switched to pc half a year ago and yesterday i played blight on console with crossplay enabled against pc survivors. I played worse on purpose, because I felt sorry for them.

With that said u think Gen regression is op in low mmr-mid mmr and only on high mmr it is required to get even only a few hooks.

On the other hand, survivors (if they play their role to its maximum) cant be stopped no matter what but if they arent good players, they have no chance. Ofc this is not true for everyone or for every match because there are 2 sides which dictate how the Match is gonna play...

How do you want to balance that in low mmr when giving Killers Corrupt as a base kit perk?

So the big Problem BHVR is facing with that is, that balancing is not balancing for different mmr regions. They simply cannot say like give the top mmr Killers more benefits than low mmr Killers. People would rage(quit).

I cant see a viable option for that big problem.

  • @tenoresax said:

As a console blight I can't say anything about DPI but I know that it has no effect on hug techs and surfs.

I'd imagine that anything high enough to quickly 90 degree flick and hit someone out in the open who tries to spin you would be all you need, but take my words with a handful of salt bc I have basically 0 zero experience on mouse and keyboard

Thanks for your reply! So which sens do you use on console? 100?

  • @Faulds said:

I think what you really need as a killer is an early game slowdown: in many of my matches i can lose 1 or 2 gens (even 3 on a very efficient team; but that's rare) when i got my first down. Thats why i vould like corrupt to be buffed (4 gens corrupted until the survivors break your 3 gen; to prevent stealth and bad RNG), and made base kit.

We already got one: Hex:Ruin. We all know it doesn't last longer than a minute on average.

    We also have Corrupt.

Those are not the greatest perks but definetly the greatest perks we have right now for that purpose.

  • @LiunUK said:

playing killer is one of the most stressful things in the entire game and as it has been shown over the years by the devs idea of balance that is not going to change (srsly its an asymmetrical game why are they balancing for 2kill2escape with a 50% kill average it should be 3kill1escape with a 65% kill average at least, killers are supposed to be the power role)

so what makes you decide that you want to play killer (other than being a masochist).

I personally only play killer to get 100% achievements and the tome challenges.

I do pla Killer sometimes and i do that to feel the ultimate SBMM-Chuck-Norris-Survivor-SWF-Pain :)

  • Yeah its so easy, killers are quitting dbd, because they want to give you a chance to survive lmao xD

my advice is to not focus on a 4k, but instead just having fun. try a meme build without cheap tactics; if you win, that's awesome, if not, you were running a meme build.

So youre basically saying that every killer should lose on purpose. Isnt that kinda banable or something? Seems like the Devs want to ban every killer lmao xD

He is a new killer who people don't know how to counter - after that hes just an m1 killer

Hmm i cannot remember that i had any problems against a nemesis whatsoever. The Problem with Pinhead is, that the sound when he shoots his hook is too quiet imo. Hearing that while being in Teamspeak/Discord and the chase music is not even possible. I'm sorry but this is a bad design. The other Thin is, that it shoots way too fast. I would rather give him a better steering and lower the feet per second of the hook.

  • @Tr1nity said:

    Lets look at a list-

Killer in need of a nerf:

    • Nurse

Killers in need of a buff:

    • Clown
    • Hag
    • Trapper
    • Hillbilly
    • Cenobite
    • Executioner
    • Pig
    • Demogorgon
    • Myers
    • Ghostface

    And likely many, many more

Cenobite needs a buff? Youre joking, arent you?

Ceno has the best killer stats overall on DBD when it comes down to Kills per Match.

    Everything else i would agree.

  • As the devs would say "play other games" or just buy a PC... Guess there is nothing else that we can tell you...

  • We definetly need a Boon Totem which is called "Learn to Fly".

  • @ChampagnePapi said:

For the survivor side getting nearly everything they want they have to be survivor mains. I have never seen a patch with good changes that focus more on the killers ( Not a killer or survivor main btw). I always have this bad feeling every time when the devs release an update its either someone or something getting nerfed to the ground or getting buffed to the point its needs to be nerfed again.

I think they are money mains. So in case that you did not know: There is 1 Killer and 4 Survivors needed for a Match to start. x4 Survs means x4 Players on that "Team", which also means 4x more chances to buy something from the store.

Spoiler Alert: Most Companies need to make money so they do not have to die from an economical standpoint.

I hope you didn't think that BHVR Employees can buy their meals with fresh air and some love 😜

  • @Yamaoka said:

Neither kills nor escapes is a good measure of skill.

You can be a good killer and get 0 kills because you played fair with no camp, tunnel and slug and no slowdown perks.

You can be a trash killer and get 4 kills because you camped, tunneled and slugged at 5 gens with every slowdown perk in the game.

I think the Killer exists to kill Survivors. So a good killer can and should kill Survivors. No matter how.

  • @Evil_one said:

Literally had a game against Blight where the first survivor was 3-hooked (technically 4-hooked because of ds) withing the first 2 minutes of the game. Corrupt was still up. Also had several similar games against nurses and spirits during the last couple of days.

But yea, nerf survivors. Gen speed too fast. Circle of healing op...

All killer mains complaining about that while such things exist should play a Solo Q 3 vs 1 at 5 gens all day.

Killer mains wont cry about standard matches. They crying about them against chuck norris swfs.

  • @R2k said:

Without any salt - git gud. U can't expect easy games if u play few times a year.

And don't come into games with mindset where u have to win 100% of your games. It doesn't happen. Sometimes u just lose and it's completely fine.

The only help i can see in your comment is: Just quit DBD.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

So you want them to de-active a killer because you don't like them?

He absolutely is a low-tier killer who could use some BHVR love but he's not so bad that BHVR should remove him from the damn game...

You talk like it is his fault, that he got pushed away from DBD, because you said "because you don't like" him...?

Yes he is mad and maybe they should not deactivate worthless Killers. Instead they should delete those Killers and refund players :^)

Just joking. BVHR needs to do something about quitting Killer Mains, because i can find Lobbys as Killer in about 10 seconds, while i'm sitting in front of my monitor for around 5-8 Minutes until i find a Lobby when playing as Survivor. Killer Playerbase is pretty dead imo.

Meyers is one of the best examples of why BVHRs behaviour in terms of balancing is bad for their own game.

I could imagine of a very simple Change for maby Killers out there, which would bring back some of the needed balancing. It may not work for every Killer but it would be a kind of huge step in the right direction:

Give us the old Hex:Undying back, so we can have a kind of reliable gen regression and a snowball potential, which BHVR took away from Killers completely with introducing Boon Totems (Healing Totem).

  • i feel that

  • @JohnWeak said:

Impossible to have fun anymore in the current state, survivors are way too strong now.

Boon totems are so much game breaking, it's clearly 100% impossible to win against good survivors no matter how good you are.

Only awesome nurse players have a chance now, even Blight is weak as #########.

Ruin/Undying/Devour Hope are now tier F perks, they are cleansed in less than 1 minute in every ######### trials.

Honestly BHVR, you clearly don't know what you are doing with this game.

just stop playing. its the best you can do. if there are not enough killers in dbd, the queue times will go up or the matchmaking breaks. I started 2 days ago after 3 months of a break and now i am facing non stop red rank teams. It is no fun at all. Survivors are toxic af today (playing Oni, not even a toxic killer like bubba, no noed or anything unfair). Dont know, the game is dead.

See you in another few months or so :D

  • Just kill the cocky Survivors first. You can also just camp them with some Killers like Bubba or Trickster.

Per usual i have my dpi at 400 (I used to play minecraft, and the lower DPIs were easier to control)

When i am in blood fury, I crank it up really high, I would screw around with all sorts of DPIs and see whats nicest to control, around 8 k dpi for me, thogh i havent mained him in a while.

8K??? I struggle with 4k because the Movement gets so damn choppy if im not using M2 :O

Edit: Bro! Thank you so much! 8k works like a charm for me. I mean its still a muddy kind of control but i need way less mouse work to achieve good angles while flicking.
