I've had the opposite experience. Other survivors are always happy to heal me, and I'm happy to heal them. I take hits, and I've had hits taken for me.
-
7 hours left for me! ..yeah, my internet is very slow. If my hotspot had more data, I'd use it to download much faster (which is what I use to play for now)

LOL. I’ve played 1 match in half hour. Ugh.
I wish I was joking. My internet is slow. I always play off my phone hotspot, but I don't have enough data to download the update off it. So I have to use my crappy DSL.
Have you tried turning the PS4 off and then see if starting it back up fixes the issue?
-
I'll tell you in 12 hours when my update finally finishes!
-
Step 1: Get good with Spirit
Step 2: Get a ton of the best add-ons.
Step 3: Get a good pair of headphones
Step 4: Play nothing but Spirit with the best add-ons and Stridor. When survivors complain tell them to stop getting triggered.
-
Can't be an update if they don't nerf Pig somehow.
-
It needs a buff, but I don't think that's it.
-
It's only from the PTB.
-
I think every killer should have Fake Pallets.
-
Midwich is awful. You go the wrong way once and you lose 3 gens. The appearance is amazing. The layout is terrible and you can get lost easily.
Dead Dawg Saloon is a pretty good map, really. It's not too big, easy to understand. The look is pretty awesome. Only thing I don't like is how survivors can hide in the bushes so well. This goes for a lot of maps (including Midwich)
Yamaoka maps are pretty bad, but they're being re-worked. We'll see how they are tomorrow!
Hawkins is a pretty decently designed map. Figuring out the layout can be difficult, and I think some of the closed doors should always be open instead of tied to gens. Would make getting around a little easier. I always seem to go the wrong way.
-
I've gotten stuck there about 6 times i think. I've had maybe one killer nice enough to let me go. When i'm the killer I'll always let people go after that. Had an AMAZING 3-gen as Freddy only to find out Claudette was stuck on a hill. I got her out and let her wiggle free and she was very grateful.
-
The game is definitely killer sided. But a lot of that goes out the window when survivors have communication. That's not to say that killers don't need buffs -- they definitely do. But comms make a HUGE difference.
-
One of these probably:
-Billy with a Mori. (Old, insta-saw Billy). Whenever someone got hooked, they got tunneled off hook and Mori'd. But the guy wasn't that good. I got all the gens done, exit gate powered as the third guy goes down. Gets mori'd, I head to the exit gate. My heart is pounding. I manage to get it open and leave.
-Iri Head Huntress with a Mori. (Just Ivory, though. But I didn't know that at the time!). She hits me before I get out the exit gate, but she hooks someone else before me, and I crawl out.
-Spirit with Rancor, and I'm the obsession for no good reason (I didn't have any perks that'd make me the obsession. I never do!). I get caught after unhooking someone. But rather than mori'ing me, she gets greedy and I crawl to the open exit gate and make it out.
-Me as a Pig on Lerys (New Lerys). I've got the survivors 3 gen'd and have surveillance. We go back and forth between me kicking gens, and them working on them. Game lasts like 40 minutes.
-
Unbreakable + DS is just too strong of a combination. At lower tier play it doesn't matter much because killers aren't going to get downs that fast, and don't need to. But at high level of play killers need to get downs that fast. Killers almost just have to eat through every DS, and then hope they're in a good enough position to recover.
The survivors were really needlessly toxic. I've seen it too many times. Hopefully those survivors go up against nothing but amazing Spirits with the best add-ons, Ebony Mori's and Stridor. Spare some nice survivors of that mess.
-
I always read those challenges to make survivors scream as "Play the Doctor".

Wish every survivor would be like you. You seem to have the survivor mindset how it is necessary for this game (I mean this positive).
The truth is sadly, that many survivors dc for every possible reason. The wrong killer, the wrong killer perk, the wrong survivor perks, they being the first hook, the wrong map... Etc. You got it by now, I guess.
I have no high opinion of such survivors and I wish bhvr would not listen to them, but they have do it sadly at least sometimes in the past.
Maybe it's just because I play killer quite a bit too, (Including a lot of Freddy and some Legion, though I suck at Legion.) Some survivors just get so salty when they can't escape. I often get messages from teammates who only seem to care about escaping (Yet they don't do gens or pretty much anything...) whining about something.
Almost want to turn my messages off, but I sometimes get nice messages too. And I've met some pretty cool people as well. (Usually as killer, funny enough, rather than survivor)
-
I don't get why people DC against Legion. Or Freddy. But especially Legion. Freddy's strong, sure. But he's not THAT strong. You don't see people dcing against Spirit or Nurse. And Legion? Like seriously? I don't get the hate for them. I don't mind facing Legion as long as my teammates don't DC. Just like I don't mind facing any killer in the game (minus OP stuff). Legion can't even down you with his/her power!
-
Moris should work like devour hope. You get 5 hooks, you can Mori whoever you want. Also, if 4 gens get done. That way survivors are at least given some time in a trial. (Well, usually. Had a Hag match yesterday where I got caught after finishing the first Gen. Then my teammate got hooked. Then the person going to save them got hooked, and the person coming for me was grabbed as they tried to save me. That wasn't fun.)
Keys on the other hand should have the hatch spawn one gen later. Meaning it can't spawn until at least 4 gens are done (if two survivors are left), and that means no 3-man escape during a 3-gen.
-
That's part of why I always run Kindred. Though if the killer is Deathslinger, Myers, Ghostface, Wraith, or Hag, I assume some sort of camping might be going on until I see evidence otherwise. (Sometimes Pig, if she crouches before leaving Kindred's radius)
Killer Awareness is a very important skill for survivors, and it's one that's often underestimated. I made it to Red Ranks because I have good killer awareness, even though I can't loop for the life of me.
-
I got 9000 from a game earlier on Midwich as Pig. I really hate midwich, and I think I may just DC every time I load onto that map unless I'm playing Freddy.
-
No Mither, Object of Obsession, For the People, Self-Care.
-
I usually farm when that happens. Sucks for everyone all around when someone suicides on hook. I mean you don't have to, obviously. Play how you like! But if you want BP, and you want a pip, sometimes its just better to farm when a survivor just gives up.
-
No, but I've seen Dull totems and think "ooh, bloodpoints" before realizing I can't cleanse it.
-
I think it shows (though I haven't seen the game myself) that both sides have issues. Killers shouldn't need to camp and tunnel, and camping and tunneling shouldn't be so powerful that high level players can barely counter it. I think Killers need a new tool in their kit as base, some early game pressure, and then survivors in turn need something to make camping/tunneling a little less powerful. Then give a few tweaks to some of the weaker killers too. Bring them more in line with the stronger killers like they did with Doctor. Pig, Wraith, Trapper, Myers, Demo, Clown, and a few others could use some slight buffs.
-
Throwing the pallet early, though, is often the right move. Especially against certain killers. Like Doctor and Clown.
-
Survivor - Escape OR Pip. Tie if at least 2 teammates escape.
Killer - 7 hooks or a 3K.
-
Give all the lower tier killers fake pallets. Maybe I just like fake pallets too much >_>
-
Had a game like that with 4 Jester Dwights. I spent the first three minutes or so of the match looking for them. They eventually made a sound so I could find them. Fun game, fun group.
-
Yeah, they really need a practice mode. They could even have little mini-games to learn the killer. Scenarios where you have to run through with a bot, and then you get a medal, and some BP as a reward. Like running through an obstacle course with a chainsaw with Billy. Just something to help people get used to the power and how it works without it being in a live match. Plus it'd be pretty fun and older players could try it to see if they could set a world record. Could even have a survivor version so that survivors learn how to play as well.
-
Mitochondria Eve from Parasite Eve. Because I want Aya Brea as a survivor. Plus Pyrokinesis would be an awesome ability.
-
Spirit was the first killer I played. I wanted to quit after that. (I hadn't even watched someone play her before)
Actually found playing M1 Billy to be pretty rewarding. I couldn't get the hang of the chainsaw. Still can't! Partly because there's no practice mode... but I digress. Myers was also pretty good to learn with. You could sneak up on survivors pretty easily (especially at the lower ranks) and do decent.
-
I thought Scorpionz made some good points about how too many add-ons affect Pig's traps, and not enough add-ons affect the rest of her skill set. The rest of her skill set is entirely ignored in favor of those boxes. Of which, she only has four! And in order to even get use of those, you have to get survivors down in the first place. Which those add-ons don't assist with in the least.
A lot of those encourage Pig to play the nastiest way possible (going after survivors with an RBT on their head). Instead, I think add-ons should definitely focus more on her other skills. How fast she moves while crouched, how long her dash attack lasts. (This is also why I think her dash attack should last a little longer. It's pretty good right now, but it's also INCREDIBLY hard to hit with sometimes. I've got some pretty nasty hits with it. But the reward is kind of small for how hard it is to do. Which is why I propose making it easier by making the dash attack last longer. Maybe enough to even make it semi-usable for mobility.)
-
I don't think this fixes the problem. It just gives the killer more territory to search. Instead of checking to see if survivors are on gens, they have to see if they're on gens or getting parts. They could be doing either.
The biggest issue is that killers lack early game pressure. Survivors can sit on gens, get 3 or 4 done, and have little to nothing to show for it. And while they CAN comeback thanks to snowball potential, all it takes is two good survivors to end your game.
-Survivors should start with the oblivious status effect.
-Killers should see the survivors starting aura's. This gives them a good idea of which direction to go.
-Survivors should also spawn together. No more spawning on 4 different gens.
Just a couple ideas that would help killers with having some early game pressure, without affecting gen times at all.
-
Pig needs a decent buff. Nothing crazy, but maybe make her dash attack last a little longer. This will give her more potential in loops, which is something she's sorely lacking right now.
Add-on Wise:
-Make Box Skillchecks affected by perks like Lullaby. This fixes a lot of the 'skill check' add ons (of which there are many)
-Replace Utility Blades with an add-on that makes her dash attack longer (Utility blades encourage tunneling)
-Face Mask is fine IMO. It's the ONLY status effect add-on she needs.
-Replace Slow-release toxin with an add-on that makes her dash attack even longer
-Replace Rusty Attachments with an add-on that increases her speed while crouched.
-Make Tampered Timer an Ultra Rare Add-on, and make it reduce the number of available RBT's by 2. Alternately, could make the 4th Box ALWAYS the one with the key, but increase the timer by 30 or 60 seconds. (Whatever felt is needed).
-Change Amanda's Secret to either make her dash attack last even longer, or make her crouched speed faster.
-Change Rule Set 2 to where the survivor can only see the aura of Jigsaw boxes from... a certain distance. Maybe 20 or 32 Meters. This would have a similar affect, but wouldn't push them to do gens instead of getting traps off their head.
-Make Amanda's Letter an Ultra-Rare. Maybe remove the penalties. It's similar to Wraith's Ultra-Rare, though Pig can attack while crouched so she's got that on him. But I'm not sure it really needs a penalty.
-
Had one last night against a Huntress with Iri Head. Guess she really wanted that win.
-
Pretty sure trees were on maps before Ghostface ever came around.

Hex undying and hex ruin. Yes its two perks but those together will be absurdly strong. I theorize hex undying will be nerf or reworked because as it stands the perks is crazy busted. If your getting the dlc anyway make sure to take advantage of the perk I'm getting the feeling its gonna get the MoM treatment.
I think they just need to remove the Aura reading from it. But then they need to have something to put it in tiers. Maybe a hex can only be moved up to 1/2/3 times.
-
Still working on the dumb dwight challenge. But it's hard without being an absolutely awful teammate. You have to go out of your way to chase the killer instead of doing gens/anything else unless you have a map offering. (Which I tried, but then I got a Nurse, and she played very mean)
-
Did you run Thrill of the hunt too, to see how many totems were being done?
I've had games where NoED activates after doing FOUR totems. Because I simply couldn't find the fifth.
Also, I don't think this really addresses the problem of games where survivors don't have time to do the totems. All this says is that if the killer is AFK, survivors probably won't bother with it.
-
I have the opposite experience.
When I play killer, when I do get messages from survivors they're usually pretty nice. Struck up a convo with a guy yesterday after playing Pig, and he was a Pig main too. He was in a 3-man SWF, and was very nice. On the other hand, when I play survivor I don't usually get messages from killers, but I do get them from survivors sometimes, and when I do they tend to be pretty rude/nasty.
-
Sick of Claudettes with the fitted button up cosmetic. I can't see them for the life of me. Is there a perk for that?
-
-
Pig can make some loops pretty tough. You just have to know how to use her. Though she could use a slight buff to her dash attack I think.
-
No, but I've had matches with no sound. Which was pretty challenging.
-
Dark Sense one means you have to avoid the killer, find your teammates who are about to finish a gen, and make sure that 3 gens don't pop back to back, because if they do, you can't complete the challenge. If you're unlucky enough to be the first survivor found and downed, and your teammate complete 2 gens while you're on the hook, again, you can't complete it. Requires a bit too much pre-planning and relying on your teammates doing gens, but NOT finishing them.
-
I tried Bingbong, Boopthesnoot, bhvrrocks, daddymyers, and descendbeyond.
-
Challenges I think require too much:
-Finish repairing 4 generators with the perk Dark Sense in a single trial
-Sacrifice 4 Survivors in the basement. In one trial.
-Escape 1 trial using No Mither
-Grab 1 survivor from a locker using the perk Iron Maiden
-Hide within 10 meters of the killer without being caught for 60 seconds as Dwight
-Escape 1 trial when your next time on the hook would immediately sacrifice you as Kate Denson
-Hit survivors 5 times in a single use of Feral Frenzy
-15 hatchet hits in a single trial
-
Pig needs a decent buff. Nothing crazy, but maybe make her dash attack last a little longer?

Just my opinion, obviously.

It's just as bad when your teammates first-hook suicide the first two minutes into the game. Had that happen yesterday. Luckily the Clown was nice enough to farm with us. He'd hit us, we'd heal. He'd hook us, we'd unhook. Then he led us to gens, and we'd let them kick them. I've done that as killer before. Caught this Meg in a locker. Cheryl tried to sabo the hook. I hit her. She didn't run away. I hit her again. I hooked Meg, then hooked Cheryl. They both killed themselves on the hook. I felt bad for the other two, so I growled to let them know I was down to farm. They understood I wasn't going to try to kill them, and wound up with a safety pip instead of depipping.
-
Camping should be punished by making them pip more. Put them against better survivors, instead of against worse ones.
