Don't worry about your rank if you aren't having fun try a different killer maybe a higher tier one. Clown isn't the greatest of killers because people don't try to loop him and just use every pallet on the map giving you little potential to get hits.

I like this thread.

"Worse than Legacy" Mhm...
Hot take here: The entire problem of the "grind" is very much exaggerated.
Especially for Survivors, who have it really easy all things considered. Killer is a different story since you're obligated to go through the unlock process on each and every killer, but Survivors just need to max out a single character and everything else is completely extra.
Bringing any one char to lvl 40 takes no effort anymore. It's not even fair to call it a grind. 50+ all perks takes effort. But if there's a BP event, you can still bring a character from Lvl 0 to P350 in about a week if there's an event going on.
Case in point: there's this one streamer who I love, but it never fails to me amaze me how he complains about the "grind" when a killer comes out because he wants every perk on said killers before he plays them... and yet without fail he has them all maxed out in under a week, in days even, and from there he simply dumps the extra BPs in his other lvl 50 characters for the next two and a half months.
That said, perk tiers are definitely obsolete at this point, considering they're constantly removing all but the tiniest percentages of variation in the tiers with every update.
My point wasn't about the levels it's more about how perk tiers are obsolete on certain perks and on others it's needed for that perk to be viable for a build. Trying to get a build on a new killer can be a complete pain in the ass because of tier's and can literally take forever.

Honestly most killers don't need a rework. I dislike reworks because the people that are actually good at the low tier killers get screwed over because everyone else think's they are underpowered. A lot of killers just need small buffs to become way better.
-
I would remove perk tiers they are annoying and lengthen the grind for no reason :/

The grind is now worse than what it was to get legacy ;)
I agree with this, as someone who was there during legacy it's just as bad if not worse.

Instantly teleport anywhere on a cooldown, a sense power that he can feather to see all survivor auras, Spirit phase walk but he can see survivors the entire time, and an ability to disable TR on a cooldown. These would slowly unlock in this order, the longer the match goes.
Also, be can throw knives like Huntress, and set a limited number of traps like Trapper.
Don't you dare copy F13 the game :P. Although I'd like that because I would be able to destroy it would still be OP.
His Power:Getting Genrushed "Due to the devs insistence on only making "fun" killers every new killer that comes out will be genrushed" Gens get done 50% faster when you spawn. Alright in all seriousness his power would be something along the lines of being extremely efficient at just powering through pallets probably with a power bar of some sort. I don't think we will sadly ever get Jason though because I am pretty sure Trapper was there take on Jason?
-
No I want tiers to be removed actually.
-
You're new right? Play more trust me and look up guides about looping n stuff. Killer feels OP to newer players most of the time. That will change.
-
There are many counters against this nowadays DS,BT,Kindred. It's annoying to face against but it should not be reportable for a multitude of reasons including the fact that survivors will report the killer for camping even when they aren't.
-
It's kinda hard when people don't know how to give up chase and then you run them for 5 gens and you just safety pip cause you couldn't do anything else so nah.
-
Yes let's nerf the perks that actually reward the survivors for playing well. The counterplay to Adrenaline is to just not let the gens get done it's simple.
-
it's not the survivors fault but gen speeds can be insane sometimes which is why people complain.
-
These add-ons ruin the fun this applies to both sides i'd rather them be nerfed tbh. Stealth isn't viable especially when the killer can just run tracking perks.
-
My main problem with NOED solo survivors aren't coordinated enough and many do not use totems so it usually just punishes solos (maybe add a totem counter?). My second problem is High tier killers can put enough pressure on where doing totems would equal in a loss. So for the few higher tier killers it actually is a crutch imo for lower tier it isn't. I have no idea how to fix it personally but hopefully the genrush meta gets fixed someday so NOED can be rightfully nerfed then.
-
Following your logic if someone recorded a clip destroying with say the Doctor I could then say the doctor is OP as well.
-
It is a waste of time for people especially against sloppy butcher.
-
Well if you ask Mcote he says Civ 5 is pretty good so you could try that. Okay in all seriousness Minecraft is pretty good :P

Also, Dead Hard is used to either accurate dodge a hit or get to a safe window or pallet on time. It was never used just for a distance thing.
Yea but most people don't understand this apparently.

Ive been playing the game since it came out @ElusivePukka I am well informed with how to juke and loop but the killers such as legion and scream are Op af and you dont have to agree honestly but maybe if you looked at it from a survivor point of view you wouldn't waste your time typing emancipation like essays.
Dude are you lying? One does not simply play the game since it's came out and thinks killer perks are OP af and Dead Hard is useless. Sorry but unless I get proof of your playtime I am just going to assume you are lying.
As for the thread both sides have "unfair" stuff in regards to add-ons and offerings but it's currently fairer then it's ever been.
-
DBD sadly can sell out all they want because they have no competition since this genre of game is low in demand :/

I did read it but your agenda can be seen miles away. Stop pretending you aren't surv biased.
Rule of thumb anyone who calls someone else out for bias is usually biased as well.
As for the actual thread I agree with many of your points for me personally for new players what stands out the most is the excessive grind.

Wait, you don't want to hear Amanda when she gets stunned?
... we can't be friends.
Hey it would be weird to be playing as male and getting the Legion glitch where you heard frank's voice over someone like susie
-
This would be abused as it's been tested before :/
-
I don't want to hear Amanda's voice over Hoffman whenever they get hit by a pallet :P. Plus they would have to change a ton of stuff probs
-
You'll be back they always are.
-
I believe it's because people were complaining about the amount of updates because of hotfixes so they are in a catch-22 with bugs you do hotfixes for all bugs people complain, if you don't people complain. I could be wrong though.
-
Tunneling=1 less hit=less points+possibility of survivors giving up for tunneling
While effective it's less effective for points. The matches where I get perfect games of 32k points end up being the ones where I snowball/apply a huge amount of pressure to everyone. This is personal experience though,
-
The only thing that will actually kill this game is for this game to get actual competition but since this genre of game is in low demand BHVR has little competition. They are actually working out on map design which is the main killer currently. #1 won't happen. Honestly don't think we need tougher enforcement on bans they are fine right now (excluding disconnects because punishments will be given out for them soon)
-
4 and 5 would be very good changes imo. 3 cannot work cause the key is just randomly placed. 2 and 1 would encourage tunneling the one with the safety helmet that would be bad design.
-
cause there is an opening when the pallet is dropping to be hit. You made a mistake the pallet deserves to die
-
What I am getting from this post is you don't want to play Dead By Daylight you want to play a different assym horror game no offense.
-
You must be a newer player. Almost all newer players think like this. Your opinion will change.
-
Because most Killers consider not getting a 4k a loss there are still buffs that killers need mostly mid/low tier killers. But a lot of killers have very high egos just like a lot of survivors have high egos and if they lost a match as killer then it's obviously because the game was survivor sided in some way. There is also a lot of pride people have when playing killer giving up chases can save you the game but you rarely see a killer that knows how to.
-
Slug them or another option is to look in the area and if you feel there is nothing nearby you can eat it.
-
Nobody wants to hold m1 for longer than they have to. A second objective is a better solution as for NOED just do the damn bones.
-
This sounds more like a problem of someone thinking that 360s should work 100% of the time and everytime they vault they shouldn't get hit in the animation lol.
-
Being a friendly killer is fun especially if you use NOED and blood warden and wait til the egc timer is at the appropriate meter then hook them and watch the blood bath happen. I don't do this personally when I meme and play friendly but I've seen other killers do it lmao.

Lol the dash is incredibly weak in most locations. Plus OBO ruins the pig entirely.
I am aware I am just theorizing on the devs logic.
-
I'd prolly go for David first since he has two of my favorite perks No Mither and Dead Hard then I'd probably go for Bill get that Borrowed Time then go for DS for different options with perks.
-
She doesn't get many I'll agree guess they are trying to encourage you to use the dash??
-
Maybe it's just telling the killer how they are going to torture them horribly if they fail :P
-
Bad survivors make back then look fun but if you were actually there.... oh god no.
-
Paranormal activity after a few "experiences" with it I can say it's one of the spoopiest things imo and don't really want to encounter anything like it again.
-
Because everyone knows DCing is the third escape option you obviously just simply got outplayed by their skillful play.
-
Nice job! Especially with the Shirtless myers picture :P
-
Now this deserves a round of applause.

Yeah you got it right.
I'm not surprised that they just as terrible with other people
OMG it's that guy lmao? Whenever I switch from PC to xbox I run into him all the time and he says I only won because I play killers that don't take skill and I should kill myself.
