Yes, that would tremendously help with his lack of identity.
-
Toolboxes, when used properly, they are imo the strongest item survivors can bring.
-
That addon exists only for the pure trickster mains who ascend to the point where they don't miss knifes. Mere mortals like us have little use for it.

On which? It was great on old bubba, but new bubba is stronger without it bc then you can use your chainsaw to break pallets and you can play with 3 charges.
I mean, it's not meta obviously but it's decent. Any killer with instadown can use it.
-
Perk interactions. For example you use nemesis + PWYF to get 15% bonus movement speed. Pretty good combo on instadowning killers.
-
Also make it non-stackable and raise the value to like 25% or 30%.
-
I think that's more of a general bad manners in multiplayer games. I've seen fair amount of nice SWF players who just play well without BMing.

old mori was bad and thats a fact. It was a free win if it was an ebony, while a 4 escape key required all gens to be done anyway. At worst, your rancor or NOED is getting screwed over at that point.
Current keys need nerfs and that's a fact too. They let you bypass gens at a point in game where killer is at the strongest, about to start winning most likely with a 3 gen and boom, you use a key and 3 survivors are out which is the most BS scenario among many other dumb ones.
Nobody reasonable wants to take away key's ability to save 1 survivor, that's fine. The conditions are what's a problem.
Hatch should only spawn once all 5 gens are done or when there is only 1 survivor left alive. That way it's about as good as current mories, you can bypass gates or get 1 free escape at the end. No bypassing gens anymore.
-
Maybe you've just failed to use it properly.
Would old first hook mori be bad if I posted a pic how 4 survivors escaped while I was using it ? Ofc not, it was too strong and needed nerfs as do keys.
-
I'm glad otz chose this slinger match to showcase good player playing him. Diablo is extremely good slinger and this comparison video makes me happy as both played extemely well and showed strenghts and weakness of each killer.
-
-
Sees 20 dead hards and 20 borrowed times in 5 matches. Yup, how do those killers dare bring good perks, the audacity.
-
No no no, that would be QoL for killers that MIGHT make survivor games less fun.
We can't have that, killers shouldn't have any HUD at all and should just memorise everything so they're less likely to play well.
-
*Keys spaming after mori nerfs flashbacks*
Oh no, that must be so hard on you.
-
You were called toxic for a dumb reason ? That never happens.
-
No, she's perfectly fine, the one and only killer that actually significantly changes bases of gameplay for both sides. Wish more killers were as impactful to gameplay as she is (and so much fun to play against imo).
Besides, reworking her because 0,001% of players are too good with her is just silly, it's like balancing around 5k hours per player SWF deathsquads which are about as rare as god nurses.
The basic formula of 115% and 110% killers could use another shake up possibly with this next RE chapter.
-
I only get relief from them when I'm Left behind.
-
Fix the ability of "power role" to be able to kill me if he's willing to throw overall match for it after I get caught.
It sucks to get camped but there just isn't fair way to fix it. Good teammates who understand saves timings and do gens is the best couterplay to camping there is. Unfortunately matchmaking puts you up with potatoes who waste time which makes camping work which encourages killers to do it.
Camping or tunneling wouldn't be half as problematic if matchmaking actually worked and put good survivors together in a team.
-
Or you could just like, run straight away from the hook, for 10-15 seconds. Even better, not be near the hook at all insted doing gens.
-
I wish
-
Myers, he's so much fun but when faced with good team who doesn't let him get stalk or to snowball, he's just so bad.
Tbh, there's slowly less and less low tier killers. Killers like wraith or bubba are actually buffed enough to be quite deadly even in hands of mediocre players. And some killers are just underrated like plague or twins.
I'd say that we have only a few killers who are actually low tier, most killers are pretty decent vs average to good survivor teams.
-
Yes I would very much like to be able to play custom match as a single person and have option to add bots.
Great for new players to test the water and for old players to improve at some techs etc.
-
As great of a killer new bubba is, a few matches are hardly enough to make a decent comparison, that much less one.
-
Oh the optimism.
-
I think it's a great design. Survivor knows it's comming so they should adapt their playstyle to counter it and make the most out of the fact killers wants to keep you for the last.
-
Probably the Tyrant.
-
I'm fine with mories beiing mostly cosmetic offering that has little actual impact on gameplay as long as they do the same to keys.
Unfortunately, keys are still busted when used by a good team and devs don't seem to care or put enough effort to fix them. It's been months since the mori nerfs and they still can't come up with a good way to fix keys.
-
At this point I'm basically convinced that devs don't know how to properly change keys and since they took so long already, they don't want to do a simple good solution like chaning the hatch spawning rules insted are still working on something overly complex.
It's really embarassing how long they're taking with keys when they could be fixed so easily and fast.
-
It's beggining to look like reddit.
Not that I mind, actually it's a nice change from all the complaining posts.
I'm looking forward to the 1000th, cheers.
-
Yeah vs competent survivor team, he's pretty terrible addonless. He needs to be modernised, in other words, buffed a lot so that he can compare to killers who overshadow him like Oni or Ghostface.
For example some things I would do:
- Make his EW 1 move at 110% with just slightly decreased lunge, keeping all the other bonuses. It takes 1s of stalking to enter EW2.
- EW2 passively increases his lunge moderately (yes he would be the only killer with non-standart lunge distance), everything else stays the same (115%, 16m TR, slightly faster vaulting etc).
- EW3 causes him to walk 5% faster with 30% additional speed to vaulting, stun recovery and breaking pallets baseline.
- Readjusting most of his addons to these new changes.
Is it drastic ? Yes. But it also ensures that killer as iconic as Micheal freaking Myers isn't overshadowed so much by so many newer killers.
I know these changes are probably too much and devs would never give them all to him but I can dream, can't I.
-
Oh Sluzzy, don't pretend like anyone actually used stealth on the dark maps anyway.
Survivors know barely how to loop, that much less use stealth properly.
-
If all players in single match are of equal skill then yes. 4 really good survivors beat 1 really good killer.
But then there's the disaster called solo que match making which make it look like the opposite.
-
I really hope Michael's evenutal rework won't change his addons all that much, at least not the good fun ones that change his playstyles.
Tombstone piece I can understand why it should get changes as it's pretty busted with how fast getting it up can be. Probably more cues to warn survivors of Micheal having tombstone would be nice, giving it movement speed penalty as well as further stalk increase would probably help a lot.
-
No changes at all as he's a specialist kind of a killer, his pressure is supposed to all come from perfect chases.
If you can read him and knows how he works, you can beat him in chase but best strategy is to use stealth as that hurths him the most. Players who can't read him or don't enjoy him in chase can use stealth while players who love to face him can improve their chase against him.
Not all killers need some kind of mobility or stall tool to be good. Slinger is a chase focused killer and he should stay that way.
-
No, I've spent too much time in this game, I don't want another one doing the same but worse. This game still grows and gets better, there is 0 reason for a sequel.

Placebo report option, it's not more bannable than literally anything is. BHVR has rights to ban someone for no reason and to give no explanation, they also don't do that for obvious reasons. See the above point ./thread
You're free to think so.
I have yet to see someone play several hundred completely afk games and not get banned for it.
I have at least in game report to support my claim, you have just words. That's about where I'm qutting on this topic as it's starting to get really silly.

I dont want to be that guy, but, can you provide any clips or something about someone holding w in a chase agaisnt bubba?
Im still very confusing about a survivor not wanting to take that loop that is next to him, but proceeds to hold a button and then counters my power. I cant imagine the scenario here lol.
I don't think I said holding w is the best strategy vs him, you can do it but if he's planning to use his saw it's pretty hard to force.
And no, I don't have any clips of good survivors countering bubba as I'm not the kind of person to keep clips of killers like that. All I have is personal experince of playing against survivors like that or counterplaying bubba myself like I mentioned. I'm no god at it, sometimes I outplay him sometimes he does me but that depends on who plays better and reads the other side more.

AFK isn't actually bannable in DBD. Using an auto clicker to swing M1 and ctrl at fixed intervals, with or without running back and forth in place is.
AFKing is bannable as it's purposeful not participating in normal gameplay. It's just not as bannable as botting is since AFKing can sometimes have a good reason behind it unlike botting.
If you AFK because you had some irl issues every few matches, you have nothing to fear ofc. But if you start 100 games and in all of them you just leave your keyboard and go do something else possbily leaving M1 bot to farm you some BP, you will very likely get banned.

I basically never see them because they doesnt exist. Its like telling me that a nurse can be looped in a jungle gym by a good survivor. If nurse has im all ears, theres nothing you can do. Now translate nurse to bubba, and im all ears to bamboozle. The only real counter i can see here is to get in a locker and pray to get the exact timing.
If you don't ever seem them consider yourself lucky. Same with nurse, just because god tier nurses are extremely rare doesn't mean they don't exist.
People in red ranks don't even know how to loop Legion properly and you expect them to understand how to loop bubba ? It all comes to matchmaking in the end letting potatoes who can't loop killers into red ranks.

This isn't clearly botting, they could be watching youtube and "hanging out" with the survs. Unless you wanna test for an auto clicker botting isn't something you can really get pegged for.
Killer not moving besides hitting M1 the whole match is exactly how botting looked in DBD since 2016, people beiing banned for it about the same.
If you don't move whole match, you're afk which is bannable anyway. Hitting M1 the whole time doesn't mean you're playing the game so it still counts as AFKing.

Botting is a bannable offense but devs have said on stream that friendly killer / farming is weird but okay.
Yes, that's right but this is clearly botting. Friendly killers tend to find you and do dumb stuff with you never killing anyone.
It's not bannable as long as you don't over do it, for example you force a farming game in 100% of your matches, at that point it might become bannable.

I forgot to mention, my build is BBQ, corrupt, bamboozle and infectious, and i can tell even a good looper cant do sh*t agaisn't bamboozle in a loop, the max you can do is to do an extra loop and throw the pallet, but even tho bubba will instabreak it, and you will be doing almost no extra distance.
I personally think people say hes bad because they always play with generic bubbas that camp or only knows how to use 1 charge.
Same goes for survivors. You basically never see good survivor that knows how to run bubba properly even with bamboozle.
-
"If I'm not having fun, you can't force me to play and I have a right to leave the match whenever I want without punishment." Every survivor quitter/suicider on these forums. Imagine if killers had option to leave match like survivors do without punishment after 1-2 minutes into it.
And some people still think that players giving up like this is somehow healthy for DBD.
On more serious note, AFKing is bannable offence so you should report them for it. What she's doing might even be botting which is even more bannable.
-
He is a good killer with amazing snowball and best hook defence but his chase even when decent is dependant on survior's mistakes.
Survivor who knows how to run bubba will use windows properly vs him (even with bamboozle), tight loop pallets knowing distances on bubba's saw and most importantly, chain loops together and have perfect timing on pallet stuns. That all messes with bubba's chase a lot but people just aren't good at it.
He's by no means bad, actually he's quite up there with other strong killer. But when it comes to good loopers he doesn't have all that much to work with besides saw mindgames.
-
Sorry but that's terrible idea, it literally permanently removes hooks, killer's main tool to kill survivors. There are already scenarions where passive sacrifices destroying even 1 hook can make part of a map no-hook zone forcing killer to slug or lose.
That's as equally broken as if bamboozle permanently blocked 4 windows chosen by the killer and then kept still blocking any next vaulted window. Or even worse, if perk like overcharge suddently regressed gen by 100% if you missed it.
This is more broken then old Wake up bug that gave 15% action speed to everything including gens and vaulting. It needs to get fixed immediately.
-
If I reached tier 70 I would buy it but I was playing DBD less during this rift so I'm just around tier 60 and thus I'm skipping this time for once.
There really wasn't anything worthwhile to grind for in this rift from my POV. Not like I mind, at least I don't have to worry about missing out on something cool if I don't grind it out, it's honestly pretty nice to just not care at all.
-
I main him and I win significant majority of my red rank games. If you learn how he works and get really good at him, you'll have pretty good chance to beat even the best survivor teams.
Good perks would be Surge, M&A, Corrupt intervention, STBFL, BBQ, etc. He has a lot of synergy with basically all perks, some more then others but whatever build you make can work as long as you play him well.
