WF just lost its skill expression hug techs with no buffs to WF meanwhile Bat Form got major buffs and can easily catchup lost ground with its insane speed while Vampire form is the perfect Anti loop
So i ask why use Wolf Form now?
I like the feeling of playing him, sadly he's quite weak a lot of the time.
I'd love it if they buff him a bit, one thing that would be a nice change would be that I can control when I pounce the second time as long as it's in the duration. That way it would took away the cases where the second pounce is a split second to late, but I don't think it would be too strong.

8.2.2 gave Dracula some deserved buffs, but due to them it made the Wolf form obsolete, I'm not talking about the hug tech being gone, I'm talking about how you can just play him like The Spirit now.
Only use dracula to damage and bat to catch up / roam around the map, the wolf form currently is only maybe decent at tall wall loops, otherwise you will never use it.
It is kinda sad, but the mediocre punces just cannot compete with going at 6.5m/s (even tho blind) and switching into Dracula and firing his Hellfire right after damaging someone.
I mean I already played him like his before, but I switch mostly from bat to wolf because I like this form more for open fields and small loops. I only switch from bat to vampire if I have a bigger loop and I can use to punish palette drops or vaults.

The map is the Yamaoka Estate with the large temple in the middle. The huntress has hooked somebody at the top of the temple and is currently chasing somebody at a far away loop. I unhook the survivor, heal them, and then step into a locker nearby to grab a couple bites of my food.
Like 2 seconds before I entered the locker the other survivor was hooked, but I was far away enough from her that it was impossible to have heard or seen me entering that locker. Hearing her approaching lullaby as I grabbed a bite I chose to stay in the locker until she passed. I was not injured to be making sounds.
I watch as the huntress passed the other lockers at the top and run straight to mine and with no hesitation open it and get the grab. She did not reload after this hinting that she had already reloading after hooking the other survivor. So in my mind im thinking oh probably had some aura perk like darkness revealed or BBQ and she saw me walk in. Game ends and no, she had 4 gen slowdown perks.
So now I have to wonder, did this huntress coincidentally reload after hooking, run to a far away location, open a random locker, and happen to find a survivor inside. Or was this person cheating on huntress and was going to use the excuse of "uh well huntress searches lockers" if called out on it.My guess is that she just thought maybe one of you two is hiding in a locker near the unhook because the heal was so quick after the unhook and she thought you didn't go to far by that time. Of course I can't confirm anything but I'd maybe think similar in her situation.

How could a killer cost thousands of times to grasp but only be worth a B tier… she just countered by gen rush so hard. Imagine you get 2 hooks in 1min then lose 2 gens… This gen rush is crazy, how many you can kill is not depend on yourself but depends on how fast the genrush is…
Well huntress doesn't really have a huge amount of map preassure if you aren't a god at crossmaping or orbitals. She has a lot of chase potential but mostly between loops because highwalls and every loop she can't throw over easily counters her to a huge amount. Also she's really slow to traverse the map that just makes the things mentioned even worse.
Also there are quite a few maps that make her power near useless like lerrys.
That being said I'm not a huntress main, that are just things I'd say thinking about her, of course some of it would be probably fixed by playing her more.

Please make it so his biopods can't be placed near a hooked survivor and make it that it can't be hidden by the trees on Greenville please. He shouldn't be able to have the camera effect on his biopods near a hooked survivor let alone a way to get back to hook fast.
You realize you already need it feels like 10 seconds to scan someone unhooking and some time after that? Don't heal under the hook and just run and hide behind something doing it and everything is fine. he has enough downsides to his power, he doesn't need more. (especially because that case would just be a missplay on your side, not to mention the ability to deactivate it with an emp).

It's not really the pallets I care about its those long walls with the windows on the newer variations of maps
I don't really see how windows helps there, they are really easy to spot and it's really not hard to know where the windows are? Besides that the windows aren't even too strong for the most part.

Killers are way to overpowered it's no fun to play survivor anymore, because all the killers play exactly the same as though they never got buffed, we would like to get more than 11k blood points per trail because of killers who end up getting blood points for playing sweaty.
Why exactly would I change my playstyle if the killer I'm playing gets buffed? (at least that's what I'm reading from that?)
I just play on the best of my abilities, if I can tunnel you without losing much I will do that, if I can camp you without losing much I will do that, same goes for slugging and creating pressure that way. I don't have any reason to handycap my own playstyle, it would only make me lose more and most people aren't exactly nice to you if you lose for whatever reason (even if you did it on purpose to be nice). Even if I play survivor myself I expect the killers to tunnel and camp because it would just more sensefull and I'm not even mad.
And if you all end up with 11k points ether you heavely missplayed and got 4 man slugged or the killer was simply much better than all of you and didn't want to take ages to end the match. (Of course it also could be that someone left, but that isn't something that bhvr could fix very well sadly)

What are peoples current opinion on Windows of Opportunnity? I think it's high usage is a sign it's not healthy right now for the game, there are a lot of long wall hold W windows, you switch target to go pressure elsewhere but the next person has it too.
Run blindness would be an option but its not for all killers, we only have third seal now that ultimate weapon is gone.I mean I personally know where the palettes are on the maps because I'm playing a lot of killer, the only thing I use WoO for is to look if the palettes are still there. Of course it somewhat helps on planing your route, but it won't make you suddenly a god at looping, people that just run to the best loops and nothing else are probably wasting them quick, so it's not an issue for the most part I think.

Seriously pretty underused perk. It's quite powerfull and nobody expects you to have this. It makes near close loops pretty much unsafe and creates openings and hits that wouldn't be possible without it.
As for chase perks goes, this one is good on almost every killer.
I mean it's surely good, but it's only 10 tokens and you can only hold 5 if I remember right. So you have to use the tokens before they cap AND you have to save them for good moments if you want to use them optimally, while saving them you can't launch so you're handy-caping yourself doing it.
The things explained above make it a perk I remember as strong, but I won't ever use it probably because I hate the way you have to play to use it optimally xD
(The only thing that could make it worth it for me is buffing it so that it doesn't take a stack if you're only launching in normal range, but I think it might be to strong then. So it will probably never happen)

The lack of DS in my games is a little astonishing to me. I do know there are perks such as OtR now, but I remember pre-6.1.0 where you couldn't go a single match without the perk.
Especially with all the tunnelling complaints, I'm expecting to see it dominating again, but it's just... not. I do see it, but nowhere near as ubiquitous as before, not even having OtR in its stead a lot of the time.
Is this all anecdotal, or is anyone else experiencing anything similar? And if so, then why?
I see it almost every game sometimes up to 3 times, I admit it doesn't matter at most strong killers, it only hurts already weak ones most of the time.

The nerf of spine chill is one of the worst decisions BHVR has made.
This perk is useless now and the nerf has destroyed stealth builds.
In addition it evened the odds for the survivors, especially those playing solo to evade the killers.
It was absolutely the right thing it just made stealth-killers and undetectable in general useless. The counterplay to those things shouldn't be looking at a cat until it glows but being attentive to your surroundings and sounds. The only thing they could have the cat have would be the vault-speed, I never cared about that effect.

Mock-up of how it should look:

the second page can be kept solely for event add-ons like blight serum since they are used way less
No thanks. Nothing against you but I think that would look horrible like this, it looks too overloaded for me. I rather have 2 pages even tho they are not perfectly filled than having one overloaded.

I'd deactivate it instantly. I don't want to hear people talking constantly, I just want to hear the killer or the environment xD

Cross map teleports, long lunges with wolf form and a lane zoning aoe every few seconds that goes across gaps. Not to mention he can use bamboozle in bat form just by teleporting to a window then immediately come out for a hit on almost no cooldown.
Solo queue has been miserable for years and all that's been done is make pub stomping easier and easier. Stop balancing around swf they aren't a majority of players. Either that or give everyone the ability to have in-game comms.
Did you ever play him yourself against good survivors?
His hellfire is pretty okay at a lot of loops but it's pretty managable to dodge, it takes a while to charge and gives you a sound cue doing it and it has a relatively small hitbox.
The pounce is really awful to use, it feels like the hitbox for survivors is too small and the one for objects to big. Also the fact you can't decide when to pounce the second time is really annoying, sometimes it's too late, sometimes it's too early.
"Cross map teleport" idk where you got that from but that's just wrong. His teleport has a basekit-range of 32 meters, with the yellow range-addon it's 38,4 meters I believe, that's not cross map. His bat form isn't bad but it's not the craziest thing you've ever seen, the teleport is without the speed-addon relatively slow especially because it shows your arrival I believe and you can't see survivors, so don't run and be quite and he won't even know you're there if he flies through you. If he manages to fly on top of you, change to vampire form and hits you, you simply got outplayed that's not dracula being to strong, same with the "bat bamboozle" (an addon I've never seen at all and never used myself because his teleport is trash in chase most of the time), if he bamboozles you with the teleport and you get hit after it you simply didn't react to him teleporting.
Dracula is not bad because he has a lot of tools, but all of them are trash in some situations. So he's for sure not too strong if you play good against him.
idk what this killer even has to do with solo-queue so I won't even talk about that.

Why Fire pits have such a long window to damage you?? Like this happend like 20 times allready VS him, I dodge his flames yet since his attack is delayed quite a lot and it takes a while before it's fully cast, I get hit anyway 1 second later after he missed because I run into it but I can't just dodge it and run that direction offten because I would be running closer to Dracula so I need to turn back but I can't I either have to sit like a duck 1 second or just die I quess anyway.
It's worse than when Pyramid Head casts his attack, this one is slower and it's so annoying and it ######### with my muscle memory of killer powers and I hate the feeling when you dodge attack but then you get hit second later anyway because it takes forever before the flames finaly are gone.
I've never seen a hit by his flames I'd call undeserved. If I dodge the flames at first and still run into the flames a second later I'd absolutely think it would still hit me, it just makes sense in my world. Of course it doesn't really make sense if you think of it as a pyramid head attack because you can just run through it after a second normally, but it's questionable if that makes even sense with his attack in the first place because you're still running through sharp metal that should be injuring you badly xD

i wonder how people can still play this game… it becomes boring af… allow me to explain better why:
- as survivor (solo) the game is almost unplayable due to randoms being EXTREMELY bad (or they are just trolling most of the times, especially when they are aganist a killer that they dislike)
- as survivor (premade) the game is extremely easy, without a real challenge to face
- survivor gameplay is boring (except being chased by the killer… pressing m1 on a gen for 90 seconds can't be defined funny in my book, not to mention that over time the devs completely erased the stealth aspect of the game… between aura reading perks, brighter maps, etc etc )
- as killer it's a mix between the previous points: solo survivors are relatively easy to beat most of the times (when you are aganist good solo survivors matches become a good challenge, but those matches are extremely rare), premades will screw you up badly, no matter what killer you take, you can't win aganist a 4 stack of people that are actually play for winning (too many 2nd chances perks paired with broken addons for their items and map offerings make the situation even worse), there's no middle ground
- they removed optimal gameplay (for the killers mostly due to anti camping stuff added, which mind you it could have been a good thing IF they also changed the survivor's objectives, but this wasn't the case…)
- they removed perk variety, especially from killers… everytime that i try to use different perks it always ends in the same way: i try to use different and funny builds/gameplays<survivors start mocking and acting like toxic brats cause they will won without much troubles<i get tired of their behavior<return to my "meta" build and tactics
- some nerfs/buffs were completely unnecessary/unwanted (from perks for killers/survivors to killer's powers)
overall this game isn't fun anymore for me… your thoughts?
Well my fokus lies on getting better with certain killers most of the time as well as winning. At the moment I play dracula wolf-only to get better with his jumps, funny enough I have a winrate of 80% for some reason, even tho I don't hugtech and it shouldn't be really hard to play against that. Every dracula I play against couldn't do anything with the wolf at all because it's just too easy to dodge xD
Also I stream my games to someone sometimes with challenges like getting 2 kills as scratchmirror-myers without play with your food and with rapid brutality on coldwin farm (I somehow actually won that challenge, whatever was wrong with the survs there xD).
My fokus as survivor is getting better in chase, so most of the time I just do gens until the killer comes to me and instead of hiding like some people I just let him chase me. It's quite fun to try to survive as long as possible for me, also I play without anti-tunnel because I just find it boring that way xD

you can attach video to your reports but it's still a moot point. Send in a vid of a guy humping you for the bleed out duration, hooking you at the last second and then beating you on hook and they will give the generic 'slugging is not a bannable offense'.
Determining intent is a gray area but in these extreme cases I think it's pretty cut and dry that there's some unsportsmanship play, griefing or holding hostage/not participating in normal gameplay at play here and there should be some form of punishment to discourage this
I don't have a problem with it if they get punished if they actually did something, I'd just like to not get punished because 4 people reported me for countering their own perks. While people can use videos to report someone that person can't defend themself with any material because it's in the background and most likely not discussted with them personally.
And yes at the moment there's nothing outside the rules that's why you get that response (the humping is probably not perfectly fine, but I don't think they see that against any rules ether?) BUT if they actually want to do something about it then with straight rules and a replay system so that you can't get someone banned randomly.

Slugging and intentionally bleeding out are 2 different things.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3791483#Comment_3791483
If someone is habitually bleeding out survivors match after match they are refusing to participate in normal gameplay.
Once again, how do they confirm it wasn't for a reason? What if they were unlucky and just got a few teams forcing the bleedouts?
Before they could make it bannable or punishable they would have to make a replay system and set straight rules in which situations it's okay. It would also have the advantage that they can ban cheaters more effective even tho that's just a side-effect in this discussion.
-
@apathyinc said:
Bleeding out shouldn't fall under the "slugging" category, it's more refusing to participate in normal gameplay.
- Unsportsmanlike Conduct
- Use this option to report a player for purposefully losing the game, not participating in or disconnecting from the game early to avoid defeat. Examples: AFKing, rage quitting idling, and refusing to participate in normal gameplay
And how would they confirm what happened?
I had a swf on top the shelfs of rpd before it got changed with boil over, obviously I couldn't hook them and my only option was bleeding them out and I did. Your logic implies that they can just report me for that and I get punished because I countered their perk normally.
The bleed out function is there for a reason not just to be toxic, there's no way for bhvr to confirm if it was used normally or in a toxic sense because they don't have some kind of replay feature as far as I know and even then it's really subjectiv if the situation really had to be solved that way. So ether they would have to have clear rules in which situations it's okay to bleed out OR they would have to evaluate every single case and it would probably not really sensefull.
- Unsportsmanlike Conduct

It's possible it's just my games and not an indication of a wider pattern but I feel like this game currently is just hold W simulator while predropping every pallet and survivors don't bother looping anymore. This isn't a one side is strong and the other is weak thread it's just this feels like very boring gameplay regardless of whether I do well or not as killer especially if you're an m1 killer.
Are other people experiencing this and if you are what do you think is causing it and how can it be fixed?
I mean depends on the killer and palette, most people won't loop those new palette...gyms? Whatever they are on coldwin for long, I myself just try to stun the killer if possible and then run to a connected loop or try to waste as much time as possible with missdirections. Yesterday I played against a Vecna on father campbell's chapel and it was most of the time just more effective to run around a palette with him a few times without dropping it and let him waste his power and then run away to the main-windows or a L-T wall, there was no reason to actually loop palettes in this case.
Most people actually use loops in my games as long as my killer allows it and the map isn't too bad.

Playing killer sucks, I play well like twice as a killer and now forever I'm put into this toxic game where i feel like I can't breathe.
Like if I want to try a new killer I need to CONSTANTLY play custom matches to get even used to the killer, if I even dare to play a normal match as killer I'm put into the most horrible game possible?? Like don't get me wrong playing as killer doesn't mean you have to win every match but i feel like I should have at least felt like I did something like slowed down gens enough or did good chases or even better get at least 1 kill but NOPE! can't even catch up to A survivor and gens pop off one after the other while I'm still chasing a survivor...
I haven't played killer in two months and last week decided to buy and try wesker but I couldn't even keep up with one survivor like!?
I like a challenge but not one where I constantly feel like my hearts beating out of my chest just to try and get ONE survivor dead.
It's normal that you'll lose at lot at the start with a new killer, after a while you get used to the killers power and you start to win matches more often. I wouldn't recommend playing against bots for the start because they are playing really unrealistic, you won't learn to play this killer against them, it's better to suffer through the matches at the start and learn how people play against your killer.
It's pretty normal to use gens quickly, you have to preassure constantly in some way to archive a good slowdown. You get that by using regression-perks and things like tunneling, camping and slugging mostly, of course that doesn't mean you should force any of that:
If you have to choose between 2 survivors in front of you and one of them is deathhook then chase that one (of course ideally without otr, ds or other perks in that direction). That being said you shouldn't waste your time too much and search for that person, rather just take the tunnel if they want to give it to you.
If you get the chance to get someone second stage or dead because they took to long to unhook or you have 3 gens around the hook then do it, there's no reason not to. That being said you shouldn't waste your time and camp for no reason, it's more hurtful than it helps you winning.
If you get the chance to slug to end the game or at least slow it a lot then do it. If you have 3 injured people in one area and you can slug them quickly then do it there's no reason not to, even with unbreakable they can't do gens for the time being. That being said you shouldn't force it so that you lose every slug and even less if you have people deathhook between the ones on the ground.
Of course all this tactics require you to down quickly, so you should learn to use your power well. Oh and I now most people don't really like that playstyle because it's not fun to them, but I like to win and most survivors don't hold back ether so yeah.

What's so wrong with the wolf? I saw a little gameplay and it looks like the wolf has two lunges, and lots of mobility, even gaining mobility from these orb things.
Everything:
He gets slowed down while walking backwards, so no mindgames allowed.
His jump is too easy to hear, has a to big hitbox for objects and a too small hitbox for survivors (it's also arguably too short to be able to be used well and you're nearly unable to walk between the jumps).
His orbs give him speed so that he gets a 4,8 killer but only for 2,5 seconds, they need 6 seconds to spawn without addon, so 3,5 seconds downtime.
He also has redlight and normal terror-radius so it's not even stealthy xD

If you like pyramid head it could be interessting because he's a bit weaker but has better mobility. If you want him for the wolf form you shouldn't buy him, it's completely worthless at the moment because vampire and bat are just better together xD
-
@ppmd said:
The wolf form is his strongest form, as you can not only be smaller than most loops so survivors have no information on you, but you are also third person. So you have a massive information advantage vs survivors at most loops in the game. Furthermore, the scent orbs make you even faster than a normal speed killer without any perks, and we all remember how we felt about made for this right?
I could go on but if anything wolf form needs to be toned down a little. It just requires some practice. Approaching the wolf form like you are approaching another killer you keep comparing the wolf to is what is holding you back. And not a single time I had a problem looping the wolf no matter the loop, so even if you play him as a faster m1 with a pounce and not a power-only killer it's completely useless, the vampire form is still stronger with less cooldown because he can hit you through a lot of loops.

@Akumakaji said:
Yeah, I know, this has been a hot topic for ever. I am firmly in the boat that map offerings are used 97% of the time to gain a rather sizable and unfair advantage on the killer, either by the survivors knowing pretty well that they will be going to a survivor sided map, or even finetuning their builds specifically for that upcoming match and map.
The smallest number of players use map offerings "because I am just tired of playing on the same 3 maps for the past hour" or "I just happen to like the visuals of The Game. I didn`t know that it was survivor sided." In the past you could reliable sniff out the survivor who played the map offering. In one of the last updates that info was removed and now the placements of the offerings during the load-up is randomized.
So, my hot take is this: if survivors play unfairly by sending me to a realm of their chosing, I play "unfairly" by tunneling and camping any way I can. And I always tell them in the post game chat. Most won't admit that using map offerings is bad in any way and just call me names and a dirty tunneler, claiming that map offerings are just one item in the game.
While that is true, thats just a way too easy coop-out. I feel sympathy for the players who suffer, because I maybe tunneled them out unfairly, but now that I have no way of decerning anymore who played the map offering, I either have to accept that survivors can unfairly stack the odds in their favor, or I can antagonize all of them.
I still think that the best option would be to reverse map offerings: make them actually BLOCK that specific realm and not send you there. To me, map offerings are souring the match before it even starts and I know that I am not alone with this. Its a bit sad that there are so few good, usable offerings, but the map offerings tend to be used in this way, so everyone suffers.
I agree especially on eyrie of crows, the game, garden of joy or mothers dwelling I'm playing extra sweaty just to destroy them and show them that map offerings shouldn't be the way to win. Of course that doesn't work a lot of a time because this maps are just way to strong for survivors but yeah...
Well I'd like your idea of map offerings, it would be nice to take a realm out of the pool.

- WOLF FORM bite does need to be charged at all, there is no way to combat this form bite attack up close no matter what you do, on top of the fact that he has increase movement speed in this form, making it nearly impossible to escape it. and while it intial long charge is dodgeable it secondary attack is nearly impossible to dodge unless your dealing witha console controller player.
- Bat Form speed increase is massive, and it ability to change back is to fast giving you no time to escape the kill or put distance between each other.
In term Player and DEV can understand even Lich has CD on his many ability on top of the fact that you cant strike right away after using these spells, where Dracula Bat form is equivalent to Lich Fly, Dracula can attack right away afterwards and doesnt slow down his movement at all after return to a atack form. tranforming into wolf doesnt slow his speed and maintain what he has constantly making it nearly impossible to outrun in any format even with sprint burst. for you to understand this, when lich uses a spell he slow down for a hot sec like prepping while moving you need to slow down so it doesnt drop or something. Lich does the same thing you use a spell and it slow u down as you are preparing to use it, Dracula on teh other hand has no Slowing or pausing in his transformation movement or anything else giving him the Speed edge he needs to close distance and make it impossible to dodge him
Not to mention his wolf form is ignoring the Camping safety function
You should really play him and then come back:
- He has slowdowns from wolf to vampire and bat to wolf as far as I remember (also from bat to vampire but there's just a really slight one I think). As well as a cooldown before you're able to switch again (matters only from bat to vampire basically).
- The bite already needs to be charged and is super easy to dodge because the object hitbox is huge and the player hitbox around 1 pixel it feels like.
- Again there's cooldown between switching and it's exactly the job of this transformation to remove distance between you.
What do you even mean with you can't outrun the wolf with springt burst, the wolf moves at 4,6 (normal speed) and get's a 2,5 seconds speedboost to 4,8 if picks up an orb. You run 150% or 6,0 with sprintburst for 3 seconds, so even if he picks up an orb right at the start you get 3,7 meters of distance instead of 4,2 you'd normally get.

I mean while I love the change, I don't know if it should stay… for as long as scratchmarks are bugged though!(scratchmarks haven't changed since last patch)
https://x.com/KairnMuchMercy/status/1828575839019245759I don't have a problem with both, I love seeing more but it wasn't too bad with fog ether. If I could change something with the grafics I'd like that auras priotize over hook-bubbles, it's so annoying to not see anything for it feels like 10 seconds (well I guess that's more gameplaywise than grafic) xD

like I genuinely don’t really care that much, I’m just playing casually and I am not doing a rulebook following let the last goober out in hatch. I’m a killer, I’m supposed to kill, and some extra rulebook stuff is stupid. I still respect them like not taunting and not playing like a jerk. Do you respect it? I count tbagging as toxic as it’s used as a taunt.
No just do what you want, someone in this game will always tell you that you played "wrong" or "toxic", at the end you will most likely be the one that gets insulted if you lose even if you played nice. That's why I use everything I can get but don't run after after anything, I don't care if I tunnel but I won't force it ether most of the time same with camping.

I think it's a good exercise in empathy to not make others miserable in a match, within reason. If someone just got off a miserable shift at their job and wants to relax on a game, I don't want to make them hate their life even more.
Dead by daylight is not an relaxing game in general so I don't even think about that:
Survivors have 3 hookstates and then they're dead, so you have constant stress to not getting killed.
Killers lose gens super quickly if they don't down quick so they have constant stress to down as quick as possible and hopefully get someone out.
Of course that's more for people that are on mid-high mrr, someone playing this game once a weak won't probably have to sweat or worry as much. But dbd isn't really relaxing by design still.

I was just thinking that maybe giving a blood point or shard bonus to people would be a good way to bring out build variety. Maybe give less used perks a bonus. Similar to the survivor to killer ratio bonus that exist now. Shards would be good for people who don't need many bloodpoints anymore but both would be great.
Maybe even increase the percentages for running a specific build or builds that maybe change daily or weekly.
They especially took the bloodpoint-bonus away from bbq because they don't want people to run specific perks because of bloodpoints, so I think that won't happen although it would be interessting I think xD

There should not be a disconnect penalty for survivors. Bots take over. The game goes on. The bot might be more fun for the killer or more helpful to the survivors.
Also, serious question. Is it okay to let go on second hook? Usually I watch to see if someone is coming for the rescue. If not, I just let go. No one was coming.
Sometimes the killer player face/proxy camps and I get the unhook myself ability. I won't use it if the killer just stands in front of me and hits me on hook.
And if the killer player is afk or goofing around, I don't escape. I'm not raising my MMR for that. Usually, if the killer player is afk I just go stand next to the killer and wait.
Anybody ever been body blocked into a corner by a killer player?
There should be absolutely one and it should be even harder because there's no okay reason to leave besides emergencys and cheaters (1. case shouldn't happen too often and you don't play after that anyways probably and 2. is annoying but shouldn't happen too often aswell).
Bots don't fix anything, the killer will probably still win because of that. While I personally don't care about bots and I just chase the people that stayed most killers probably don't find it really fun to play a match that's basically won. So you effectively ruined a match for 4 other people for no reason by leaving, and no it's not okay to leave against tunneling and no it's not okay to leave against camping, both cases get even worse for your team if you do. (And yes I know it's probably not fun for you to be tunneled or camped, but survivor is the side where you play as team, so ether you play in a way that benefits your team or you're probably on the wrong side. Besides that I love being tunneled it's really fun to annoy the killer by just not dying for ages xD).

Then let yourself be embraced by shades of our Lord. 😎😜
I use it if there are 3 flashlights, everything under that would probably be overkill for a chance of people with flashbangs that on top of that have to know how to do it xD

@Choaron said:
It is not an exploit. Survs lose collision with the killer during flashbang animation. It always worked like this.
Then they should change it, because swfs or people in general that know how to do it with background player are literally uncounterable if you don't use lightborn xD

At least on SA servers there is a bunch of deliverance now.
Ahh I'm playing on europe, I think that could be the difference xD

I was playing killer this week and I noticed something, the amount of Deliveance, this perk was very rare and not to common, but now is more common than lithe and windows of opportunity.
I saw 2 deliverance in the last 3 months I think, so it seems more to be on your matches for some reason xD

I was playing a match earlier and the swf I was against was doing the typical "bully" playstyle where every time I tried to pick someone up they were there with flashlights or flashbangs. One survivor ran into a room and I downed him at the door so I was able to body block it before picking him up, but one of his team mates ran through me when I did and threw down a flashbang. Is that normal? I don't think that is something that should be able to happen.
It isn't intended as far as I know it wasn't possible before and it makes flashbangs uncounterable if the survivor is able to time it right. They should fix it for sure but it's there for at least half a year now xD

The devs or I saw a patchnote, when they say something about black bars… I don't know, but stretch res. can be more better without black bars.
That is intended so that you can't use it anymore to see over loops or a lot more in general (at least I think that's what it was used for? Never used it xD).

I know, it's just changing numbers.
If they really wanted players to use the med-kit on other survivors they could increase the healing speed and literally make it more useful to use on others than on yourself.
Currently the med-kit is in a strange situation where the difference between each rarity is only 5% if you use it on others.
I don't think there will be any rework or fix anytime soon, at least not this year.
Yeah I don't think it has a high priority, well we'll see what bhvr has planed, the changes they make in the last 2-3 years are pretty good for the most part I think (at least compared to before) ^^

@Boons123 said:
With changes made to the Med-kit to encourage its use on others and not yourself.
I think it would be better to increase the number of med-kits from 24 charge to 32 charge with an increase in the consumption penalty if you use it on yourself.
I say this because if you use it on other survivors then more than half of your med-kit is gone which means you need to rely on charge add-ons.
It may seem unimportant to some and that the med-kit needs major changes, however one of the reasons I use the med-kit on other survivors is that it rewards you with a lot of bloodpoints.
You realize that this wouldn't make any difference besides that you could heal other people two times instead of one don't you? So you could still only heal yourself or others without addons.
If you actually want medkits to be able to heal two other people basekit then I'd say only the higher ones and the addons for charges would have to be turned down because it's like before otherwise where you can use one single medkit 5 times it feels like xD

I’ve noticed that when wraith is cloaked, he kicks and vaults a bit slower than when he’s not. I’m not sure if that’s how he’s supposed to be so I’m just leaving this here.
Not sure about the animation itself, but the actual speed isn't supposed to change. So if it's really the speed and not the animation it's bugged xD

love the face camp meter, but it needs to stay regardless of the state of the game. otherwise killers just camp a hooked surv during endgame and makes it unfun for everyone involved
No it's gone because the killer doesn't have anything to defend anymore besides the hook.
Protecting the hook becomes effectively the new task for the killer: with basekit bt, grabs taken away AND 10 seconds added per hookstate next patch there's no reason to not get the unhook even with the killer camping (of course only if it's a killer that's allowing it, so no bubba, huntress, trickster and so on).

I've been playing for a while now, and I just can't understand why are you making these killers so overpowered? Plenty of killers that can do a lot of things + 4 perks + camping and tunneling which a lot of them do = impossible to play against and have fun. I'm an average player and honestly it' sickening cause I see how the newbies struggle to play survivor. Meanwhile I can hop on killer and just won't see a competition there, mauling everyone left and right. What I want to say that playing a killer doesn't really take much of skill meanwhile to play a casual survivor with 4 perks is quite impossible, even good players struggling against killers like the knight etc… Upcoming killer has how many things he can do ? turn into animals, launch fire pillars and plus mouse one hit and can use 4 perks, how does that make sense ? Maps have a lot of flaws also, like you get stuck on windows, obstacles don't make sense, a lot of open areas, things like hatchets and deathslingers shots pierce thro objects like tires, walls etc.. Players who lack the skill to play killer and can't handle the game just end up camping and tunneling which ruins the game for everyone too. The game is one sided and it's on killers side you cannot actually prove otherwise at this point.
First: Most killers with a lot in their kit do almost everything badly or have a lot of cooldown.
Second: of course they can use 4 perks, you as a team can use 16 lol.
Third: Camping and tunneling is already so much weaker than before, if you're good at looping and you use perks like ds or otr you can make the killer lose the game. If you want an excampel hookstates getting 10 seconds longer next update, so camping is even less effective (not even speaking about the fact you can't facecamp anymore and you can't grab while unhooking anymore).
If you're really just destroying everyone and you say playing killer is easy then you just didn't play enough lol. I want you to play more killer until you go against teams with 5-11k hours that throw you on badham, eyrie, garden of joy or the game. If you're still able to say that afterwards you're ether an absolute monster or you're lying to me and yourself.
Dracula sounds like much but was pretty bad on the ptb.
the firepillars have the hitbox of pyramid head but can't go through high walls, they needed way too long to charge, the penalty for canceling was literally ages and way too much.
His wolfform sounded nice until you see that it's a much worse version of wesker, you would be able to jump twice but only if you're not hitting an object, also it was 4,4, the speedboost of the orbs was too short and you move slower while going backwards.
The batform is okay with a movementspeed of 6,0 but for that you don't see the survivors, the teleport is way to slow for chases.
So he has a lot but everything is garbage. Well we'll see how it's after his release, he got buffed a bit.
Maps I agree with you except that it's garbage for both lol. Eyrie, garden of joy, the game, badham and mothers dwelling are all absolutely unplayable as killer if you don't want to get absolutely numb afterwards (in 90% of the cases you don't even have to think at the loops because they are to good to be mindgamed against good players). At the same time there's dead dog saloon, midwich, forgotten ruins (i'd say? It's pretty okay for killer I guess) and maybe some variations of mac millian and autoheaven that are garbage for survivor if they know what they do.
Huntress, deathslinger and Trickster are nothing you can just say "there are to many open areas", almost every indoor-map, especially lerrys is absolutely unplayable with them and even some outdoor-maps are trash like mothers dwelling, temple of purgation and garden of joy.
Dbd is pretty balanced at the moment if the matchmaking works and both sides accept that tunneling and camping is a part of the game. If you actually work on getting harder to be tunneled and you learn how to play against camping better it's pretty well balanced in contrast to before. (Of course your team also has to be good at that, but that's always a thing that you sometimes get people that don't know what they're doing. That's not bhvr's fault at that point and is just unlucky for you).

Nobody plays hag because she is boring to play
My proof for this is singularity, even with the buffs that he received, I still do not see him being played
Why? Because he is boring to play, and people like to play the killers that are fun, remember when wesker was released? Everyone was playing him because he was fun.
Even with the buffs that Hag got one time ago, still nobody plays her because her playstyle is boring, of course there are players that like the character, but, it’s not a considerable number of people that like her.
I agree that hag is boring to play for the most part because you're really dependend on your traps and you have to reset them constantly.
However I do not agree that singularity is boring to play, the biggest problem of his power is that you have to manage a large amount of stuff and you "only" get a teleport, a little bit of speed and better palette-breaks. Most of the things I said are easier to get with other killers and most of the time even better. So if you don't like to manage a huge amount of stuff at the same time you won't find him very fun because you don't get near as much value as you could.

She's pretty much the only killer you'll need a headset to have a chance at playing against, and that's unfair.
Why do they make the terror radius of and lullaby visible to help the hearing impaired or deaf while leaving the spirit as she is? which brings us back to the guessing game, or rather the coin toss game.
If you are hard of hearing or deaf you will not get a chance and the same goes for those who do not use hearing aids.
I think the best solution is to make it semi-visible like the Wraith.
I don't have anything about making the game playable for all people, but at the same time I don't think it's a good idea to scrap any ideas for powers that are sound-related. Spirits counterplay would be way to easy if you could see her and the idea of her power is that she can't see you and you can't see her.
I wouldn't find it fair for people that like her power to change it that much, because it moves away from the original idea of her power.
