Yeah, I'd have to dig it up but it was confirmed that a hatch escape is seen as neutral. Doesn't count as a "win" for the survivor and doesn't count as a "loss" for the killer. Has no impact on you MMR.
Well that's omega cringe.
It actually promotes SWF because you don't wanna play in low ranks if you're good.
That is just not fun to lose a game because you're playing 1v1 in a game designed for 4v1.
What is this?
-
wait (32 000*2)+(32 000*2) = 128 000

Hatch escapes don't count as an "escape" either so if you're constantly escaping that way you won't go up in ranks either.

Or just play against uncoordinated survivors with any killer.

something that can stall the killer
Stalling killers isn't really fun for killers,
have you heared of Dead Hard? It can stall the killer from 3 seconds up to a whole loop or more.
-
Yeah exactly, if the survivors are good and the killer camps you can just find the totem and go for rescue mission

Nurse range was normalized years ago.
This is the second thread in the last two days and its starting to feel coordinated. Stop making up 💩 because you don't like Nurse.
I see, you're mad because you never played survivor POV against a nurse.
@Alphasoul05 said:
Yeah, exactly, it "looks like" Freddy is hitting you from a mile away. Same as a killer like Hag sometimes does. It seems you have very little understanding how lunges and killer models work as a whole.
When a Nurse comes out of a blink she's given momentum to allow to her to have a lunge that's no different than anyone elses, but perhaps the speed at which it happens makes you think otherwise.

Why would I P3 Nurse if I didn't play her?

@Mr_K said:
Its the same range as every other standard M1. If her red stain reaches you she can hit you. Stop thinking lunge range is belly to back. That's just killers waiting out dead hard.

So in my opinion I say it is harder for killer due to the corn blindness being more harsh with the bright light. Also a lot more people can blend in more in the corn so claudette is no longer the only one blending.
Corn blending is actually harder in daylight, because you see light green/yellow and than suddenly a black croughing Ghostface,
however, my previous comment was sarcastic, it is much easier for survviors to see the killer in the distance, since it's daylight,
sure the corn blocks your field of view with it's thickness however survivors have overview, they are 3rd person, on some parts they can see literally over the corn,
and do you need to wonder if killer is coming, even if you hear terror radius - if you just see him taking a stroll in a nice bright day with another survivor?
you can just hold M1 and get gens done fast and easy...

The average kill rate is above 50%, which tells us what everyone already knew, bad Survivors (the overwhelming majority) die a lot, not that Killers are OP.
We do not know what the kill rate is like at top MMR
I've played survivor soloq so it's pretty easy to see that ^
And also, think of it this way, the 4 survivors are stronger, which for some people literally mean fun,
if out of 5 people 4 are in an advantage, that's 80% of people having a good time,
but killers if they're good and survivors aren't godlike SWF can also have a good time,
and something along those lines....

This perk has been the laughing stock of the survivor community.
We've all been there where we spawn in and see someone else taking the perk and groan in shame as the 4k looms above.
We've also been there for whatever reason where we take the perk and live to regret it.
But, let's not forget, the perk is working as intended as a meme 'Hard-Mode' perk.
Should the perk be changed so that it's actually fun to bring, something that doesn't destroy the game for your allies, or should it remain a joke perk to challenge yourself with?
If the perk does change to become a viable pick to bring into the Trial, what should the rework look like?
What incarnation of No Mither would make it attractive for YOU to bring into your matches frequently?
What would keep you from saying... 'No Mither ? No Way !'
I know half of the possible process to make No Water viable,
Firstly the benefits need to own up to the hindrance, Broken but can pick themselves up,
yeah, the killer can literally see you are broken and injured since the start of the trial.
So picking yourself up isn't exactly the most exciting thing to run this for.
If it increased gen speed or healing or anything like that, or had a different effect, that would be much better.
The downfall would be inability to heal to full,
or the perk could be even stronger, with the downside of the perk being the only one you could use, covering all 4 slots by itself.

I just had a game where it was endgame, all gens were done and the killer was camping the hook..
camping may be a strong word as the killer doesn’t really have anywhere else to be at this point so I’m not blaming the killer for wanting to secure the kill…
anyway, I was trying to edge myself closer and closer to the hook without being seen in the hopes of getting a cheeky rescue but then I got an AFK crow which gave away my location
It just got me wondering, should AFK crows still trigger if you’re inside the killers terror radius?
the crows should appear if you’re doing nothing, not actively participating in the game. But just because you’re being stealthy, or trying to outfox a camper doesn’t mean you’re not doing anything
I don't get why they spawn in the endgame....
Like, there is a literal countdown forcing survivors to act, and if they don't they will just die.

When I die as survivor I don't really care but when I lose killer rounds it feels so bad and I don't know why. I have rounds in lol where we lose and I have zero kills and a ton of deaths but there I never feels bad
Is this a me thing or does some of you feel the same?
I don't like losing as survivor when we need to repair 4 gens while everyone is on death-hook already..

Nah you speed level the killer/surv, and instead of buying the same perk 3 times you only have to buy it once. With killer/ survivor specific perks already unlocked once you reach prestige 3. It makes prestige not suck as much. Its simple maths mayne.
So in prestige 3 you instantly unlock tier 3 perks instead of 1-2-3?
-
so instead of 100 perks they will have to get only 97 in the bloodweb?

If you don't want survivors to DC in the first 5 seconds don't use iredescent add-ons?

Every time I play a match it just feels identical in terms of the survivors I am playing against. Like no matter what build I try or what killer games feel generally the same flow. 1st down after 2 gens pop start to get more injures and eventually leads to EGC with either 1 or 2 escaping. Endgame builds odn't feel fun cause it playing with no perks for most of the game then they just instantly leave as soon as you get 1 down with NOED. Backpack builds tend to work once or twice but after that nobody tries to save or go near any downed survivor and I have no choice but to hook. I tried a Nemesis PWYF build but I barely get stunned cause people just drop instantly.
Any tips on how to find this game fun again?

What he means is that he has consistently advocated not playing this game seriously, and instead suiciding or throwing to get out of the current match if you don't like the killer you're up against.
Or the killers addons.
Or the killers perks.
Or the strategies the killer uses.
I only kill myself on hook when it's 5/4 gens and ge literally starts camping

if I see a killer camp or tunnel a surv I run towards him, point to the hook and let him kill me. You lose about 1 minute
You also lose rank meaning your survivor team won't get better, meaning all the campers that get genrushed will be in your MMR range
@LordCyphre said:
Killers camp and tunnel because the survivors make it work way too often.
Camping a hook is a surefire way to lose a lot of gens. Or at least it should be. Unfortunately too many players just drop everything to bomb the hook. Seen it plenty of times, someone gets hooked and everyone is there and made their presence known to the killer before they even had a chance to step away.
Or it goes like this: someone gets hooked, the killer decides to stick around and every survivor is hovering around and camping the hook aswell. I always want to pull my hair out if that happens to me. Like why? What do people think is going to happen? That the killer is gonna change their mind halfway through and just leaves so their camping pays off? It doesn‘t. What happens is that no gens get done, one survivor dies and the killer often finds the next person to chase and down. Rinse and repeat and boom, easy 4K with barely any gens done. Survivors made it a winning strategy.
Whether or not tunneling is efficient also highly depends on the survivors. If t person being tunneled is somewhat decent and has some decent tiles to work with they could potentially waste a lot of the killers time. Time 3 other players can use to slam gens. Unfortunately they often don‘t.
Yeah it suxks getting camped und tunneled, been there. But what sucks more is being camped and tunneled while your teammates do diddly squat. That means that all efforts were for naught. If nobody is doing gens, chances are no one is going to escape. Slam gens, let the killer get 1k and have 3 people easily escape. That‘d make me rethink my strategies.
Overly altruistic plays are hard countered by camping and tunneling. Bombing hooks, unhooking in the killers face, throwing oneself at the killer to prevent tunneling and/or force BT/DS reward these playstyles and make them efficient.
yeah I get that, but not everyone is overly altruistic
@[Deleted User] said:
Why should anyone care about their MMR?
It's invisible, so you can't prove anything.
It's not an indicator for skill, because it's very bad at indicating skill.
Skill in an asymmetrical game is also not worth bragging about...
if the survivor is high MMR -> he survives often -> he does objectives -> more enjoyable games for some individuals

Tunneling is getting worse these days, and your basically just screwing over your teammates because you didn’t equip it. Don’t get me wrong, I also wanna swap it out to try other perks because the meta perks are becoming more boring these days, but the Killers want someone quickly out of the game so they have a easier time. So please, just bring it! It’s worth it and you can help your team out many times!
tbh, decisive can stop camping but it surely cannot stop tunneling, so it's not very great

@Ravenpoe said:
If it makes you feel any better, if they're a brand new player they probably don't know any better. The game does not explain to new players what the killer should be doing outside of down player, hook, and hope they die, so it's make new killers assumption that of course they want to defend the hook because that's what they think they should be doing. The dynamic of hook states and time as a resource is left for the player to discover, and some players simply never learn that dynamic before they inevitably quit
they definitely weren't new
@tippy2k2 said:
I wasn't there obviously but going off of your language here...
"offered them a chase"
Not offered them a hook so presumably you did something to get their attention and got them to chase you (whether it was as simple as a passive standing there waiting for them to see you up to being annoying with quick vaults or clickity clicks). Whichever degree of getting their attention you did, they could have easily misinterpreted what you were trying to do (they thought you were mocking them) so they decided to face camp you for it once they did catch you
Ultimately though, I've allowed a killer to hook me when they're just getting absolutely destroyed but I recognize and accept that I am also taking a risk in doing so. If the killer decides to make sure I die, that's something I have accepted as a possible outcome. If you can't/won't accept that, then yeah, just leave instead of getting mad at them for killing you.
I guess pressing 2 once they notice me after they lost me in a chase is too toxic

May I suggest special offerings or offerings in general(ie not the flashlights, medkits etc) be account wide instead of being limited to specific characters that way you wouldn't need to make a storage character unless you really want to use event flashlights, medkits etc
Or devs could just change the prestieging mechanic, since shop people are more often running bunny hoodies or shirtless davids instead of bloody clothes.

You don’t have to do it. It’s optional. Now I got tons of items. And i stockpiled on the festival tool boxes and firecrackers.

This is a really solid advice, and i suggest everyone to do it as soon as possible, especially if you are collectors! The sooner you get to prestige 3 with a character, the faster you'll have a "storage like" character with which you can collect limited items and keep them there. 😁
Solid advice? it doesn't solve already having special items on characters, only gives you vessel to store it, but not a solution when someone has the loot already
and while I could prestiege all my characters and keep all the future loot, I will lose the old -> more valuable loot....

I have more than 5000h and I am worried about the state of the game. The game is worse than ever. I would say that the problem is that people are told that playing as an assassin if you don't kill the four survivors you have lost and playing as survivors if you escape you have won. Proof of this is that they are rewarded with points, instead of rewarding the skill, knowledge and cunning of the players. This causes the killers to tunnel and Camp and the survivors to abandon their companions and not help, ruining the experience and essence of the game. it is difficult to regulate this problem by adjusting perks since it would cause injustice in other cases, but at least they should penalize with points and thus motivate players to hunt and cooperate. For example: If a murderer camp and tunnel a survivor and later returns to the lobby with 5000 points, he would end up understanding that he has to try harder. And a survivor if he leaves an equal partner lying. But since they win more than 25k playing like this... well, they don't make an effort to play, and they keep doing it because that's how they "win", and meanwhile the game dies.
Nah during day I never find a game as killer and during night I get fast killer queues, and still relatively fast survivor queues,
definitely not dying.

I have the feeling that most of these ppl that feel like that simply dont play or refuse to try out other games. Many of my friends ONLY play dbd, I was able to convince 2 friends to play 7 days with me after a long and excessive sellout of the game (Tried to convince them over 3 weeks to try it out).
