It could be Candyman or Chucky

Maybe, but I have a feeling that it will be Candyman at once, even in the game loading screen, a member of Behavior commented "Aaahh Bees" is that I feel it will be obvious, otherwise it could be an original killer, a vampire for that matter. that I saw in the cutscenes of the volume, where the observer visits a castle and at the same time the messages in the archives. Or another licensed killer that could be Chucky or Pennywise, for the last Schmuckles video as discussed.

While i think it would be cool, nowhere in those tweets is he hinting at it. Someone else asked if it was and he ignored it, and he said "Just #wait" not really a big indication of DBD if you ask me.

Now, but what happens with which actor follows the developers and the dbd itself, without a doubt Dead by Daylight also refers to that movie, with the anniversary logos and the skulls, really if Candyman ends up being the next killer, I'll split of laughter.

We will get 3 new chapters this year, this already confirmed. So i really hope for different type killers. One of them will be licensed, so maybe Chucky (I hope!)

And game health big updates also will come this year, this also confirmed. I hope they will do good this time.

Wait to? Is that true that we will have 3 killers this year or is it only the remaining 2?

  • I like this idea and I really look forward to another stealth killer or stalker since killers at a distance and with high terror radius bore me. Stealth is what makes DbD best.

  • He is the only one who could escape. But I would like to know a more detailed theory of how he could achieve it and how he could hide from the entity.

It didn't. There's no FNAF in DbD, just a loud minority who wants it and makes these threads "in bulk" from time to time.

The community really shows that it loves FNAF, according to a survey by a streamer who constantly talks about licenses, the most requested are FNAF and Alien. Congratulations on the 20K

  • I don't understand, since when did a FNAF chapter originate in DbD?

  • I have sensed that this chapter is kind of strange, recently in 3 games, I played with Nemesis, in 1 due to the freezing of the tentacle when attacking in Autohaven, I was forced to disconnect since I am not going to play with this problem again and I am already getting tired of seeing it. But in 2 games in Hawkins and Gideon, I was doing well with Nemesis, the performance in Raccoon City improved a little but I still get freezes, annoying blinks and lag, knowing that in the rest of the maps I do not have a terrible lag, but Raccoon City is becoming a disappointment for me, however skill tests are also affected by performance.

  • I really hope he is a very strong killer, with a unique mechanic and not another killer away. Nemesis is one case, Trickster is another, Twins could be said that taking Victor to the attack could be considered as a half killer at a distance.

If he is an original killer, I hope he has a detection mechanic or they implement AI in his power. But I'm 90% of it being Candyman the next chapter.

  • Legion has no power if the survivors are separated, just like Myers, but in his Tier-3 surpasses it.

  • @steezo_de said:

Old Quentin looks more like the actor than the new one. I'd be disappointed if the new one makes it to live.

He has a face as if he were a Felix puppet.

  • Well now we can say that Jonathan is the new Gollum of DbD.

  • I'm going to predict that performance will continue to suck until Dead by Daylight dies.

  • It would be nice to have it here instead of Jaws. LOL

  • You need a new benefit that allows you to detect survivors or have control of the map. Basically Myers now her power is only based on her low terror radius and her Tier-3. Although if he's the easiest killer to use, he needs upgrades to make him more competitive.

  • Raccoon City still fares me badly. In performance of course not, because all the maps run well for me, the game in general runs well, but the flickering on that map and playing as Nemesis hurts me. Even now I don't know if I will be the only one to experience this but when I am connected to my home network, playing as a survivor returned that annoying flicker when I run or walk as a survivor. I have to connect to my cell phone network to play more normal. Without a doubt this fifth anniversary is a disappointment?

  • I really like the concept. Pinhead would be fun to use, but I think he would have the same counterplay as Deathslinger.

  • In Dead by Daylight, Claire looks like she's 50 years old.

I'm guessing the next mid-chapter patch will revamp Swamp (which I think has been confirmed as the next in line?), though nobody knows for sure but the devs.

Betting Haddonfield rework will come in October, along with Laurie and Myers graphical updates.

It makes sense to me. I think I heard a rumor that 1 new map is coming out this year. Maybe The Realm Beyond ends with Haddonfield being reworked in October. Since Halloween Kills is released, a good opportunity to get new content from the Halloween chapter

  • I like the concept, in fact now that I think about it, Myers' only power is to be a stealth killer and leave survivors of a hit in Tier-3 dying. The truth is that I wish that in Tier-3 he did not suffer a stun effect and instantly break a pallet, like Jason. That it disappears out of nowhere if it could be a very interesting benefit to use in Tier-1 and Tier-2, especially in Tier-2.

  • I like Shadow Walk's ability, certainly Myers needs it to get the map under control, but I also don't like the fact that it becomes undetectable every time I stalk. It would be a disadvantage for someone to know what Myers is when his signature stalk sound sounds.

  • Really what buff would you give it?

in Pig Buff Comment by Jarol
  • Orgasm is fine, but the face is not.

  • @Huge_Bush said:

I'd like something where he forces a survivor to wear a mask that allows him to switch places with them wherever they are on the map. When the switch is done, he looks like the survivor and can attack their teammate.

I know this is asking a lot and isn't going to happen, but it would be nice.

It would be good in the first place, basically the objective of this discussion is to see the creativity of the community and get a laugh with the good ideas that people comment.

  • @WeenieDog said:

I think they are only client side though. I thought it would be a neat replacement for crows.

instead of seeing them fly off, you'd notice the direction of the statues staring.

In my games I always hide in the structures but I never noticed that they were watching me until now. Even if they only work with survivors, it would be an advantage to find their location.

  • All maps run fine for me, even Midwich which is similar to Raccoon City, but now in this update my performance problems are focused on the new map and Nemesis.

  • @OldHunterLight said:

I didn't get any fps drop yesterday when I got rpd.

And damn, old ormond ran better for you? Is it that bad for you really?

Really old ormond ran a lot better than Raccoon City. But now, before when it just came out I ran well, now for a strange reason it runs fatal, just like when I play with Nemesis, it kind of got better but now it continues as before. Behaviour is unable to take action on this issue.

  • Yes, even on PC it happens to me, Behavior fixes your game!

  • I'm used to the new design and frames with survivor photographs. The hook counter is the special thing.

    in Hud Comment by Jarol
  • So, I tried the police station, I'm doing well, you could say that the fps went up, but I'm still angry with Behavior with this performance problem, Justice for all the console and PC brothers.

  • I never see news of bad optimization in Dead by Daylight on websites, but this should end here, the more silly projects like releasing a multicolored skin for Trickster that almost no one will buy for sure, the more the real problems with it are delayed. Enough we've had.

Oh that's nutty, I like it

Would Sean S. Cunningham be interested in allowing Bhvr use Jason if he won the lawsuit?

I really hope Victor Miller owns the license, because on twitter he follows Dead by Daylight and the developers. From what I see as possible to see Jason here. Instead Sean, earned the hatred of everyone by greed for him.

  • Really if we get Jason, I hope it's Tier-S. As I follow the demand and the news of the franchise, Sean S. Cunningham, one of the creators of the saga, will be with fans asking a question and answer, it would be a good time to press him to know when the demand will end and to know if we can get it a once it ends, but most likely people will throw it out I hate it.

As for Jason in Dead by Daylight, he would pick the strongest version of him and have all of his cosmetics in store. The most likely survivor would be Tommy Jarvis and Camp Crystal Lake as a map would be brutal.

The power of it can be very complex but it would be made up of 3 levels. Like Michael.

In the first level, Undetectable begins, but he must stalk the survivors to be able to activate his true power, from here I hope we have Jumpscare Jason, it would be a meme and a thank you to have him.

At the 2nd level his terror radius is moderately reduced (16 meters) He has the ability to teleport around the map at his own will, but with a cooldown of 20 seconds, when he enters he is stunned by pallets or blinds, his level bar It is increasing and thus being able to change to level 3.

On the third level, his terror radius is 32 meters. He no longer gains the teleportation ability but his true power is "RAGE", when Rage is active, his movement speed becomes 4.4 m / s but he gains the ability to go through breakable objects such as pallets and doors without being Stunned, hitting survivors inflicts Deep Wound or Vulnerability, lasts 60 seconds, and returns to Level 2.

He would have addons to see auras, decrease his terror radius, increase teleportation range, stalk and addons to kill survivors of course. He would be a better version of Myers, but you have to admit that Jason is much better than Myers in skill and popularity.

You have to tombstone all four survivors while you are in evil within 3.

You have to be very lucky to get that achievement, hopefully I got it in old Gideon and there are lockers everywhere.

  • Because it's fun to use in conjunction with Monitor & Abuse, it makes it clear that if someone wants to body block with a Tombstone Myers, they are making a mistake. This addon makes Michael Myers Tier-A for me.

  • As the Halloween franchise has different universes, it would be something like this:

The 1978 timeline: It is when Dr. Loomis saves Laurie from Michael, shooting her 6 times in the heart of her and then falling off the balcony and escaping from her. Michael learns that Laurie is in Haddonfield hospital so he begins a massacre to find her whereabouts, he chases Laurie in the hospital when he runs into Loomis for the final confrontation. Michael and Loomis end up dying due to the explosion and the only survivor is Laurie.

The 1978-2002 timeline: It is the same line only that Myers survived the shots caused by Loomis or He survived the hospital explosion together with Loomis, in this line, Michael has remained in hiding, recovering from his injuries and looking for Laurie, finds out that the doctor we saw on Halloween 2 (1981) was taking care of Loomis for a long time from his injuries until he passed away, this time Michael finds the whereabouts of the doctor in which he breaks into his house to find information regarding the whereabouts of Laurie Strode who is now known as Keri Tate in the state of California, after the events of Halloween H20, 3 more years pass, in which Laurie is in the asylum for her trauma against Michael Myers and loses her life in an attempt to kill him for his overconfidence in being able to kill the wrong guy. In this line Michael manages to kill Laurie, Laurie A.K.A Keri Tate had a son.

The 1978-1989 timeline: In this line, Michael is trapped in the hospital and Loomis survives but with his face disfigured by burns. This line could be said that it is not canon because Laurie is not in this saga but the protagonist is her daughter, Jamie Lloyd.

The 1978-2018 timeline: In this line, Michael, after being shot, is trapped and locked up for 40 years until he manages to escape and look for his older sister.

Obviously the remake is another universe in this franchise but I will not mention it because of how bad the plot of the story is, especially Halloween 2 (2009). Basically all I mention are the different timelines of the franchise.

Now if it were in Dead by Daylight, it would be something like this based on the official trailer:

The alternate line of Dead by Daylight: In this line, when Laurie stabs Myers, Laurie tells Tommy and Lindsey to go get help, Loomis sees the children asking for help and goes to investigate the house, at that moment finds Myers hanging Laurie, when Loomis is about to draw his weapon to shoot Myers, in a quick movement, Myers releases Laurie and prepares to kill Loomis, at this moment Laurie takes advantage of escaping arriving at Lampkin Lane, in An attempt to ask for help, she arrives at the old Myers house, without realizing that Myers was harassing her from outside the window, Laurie very scared decides to hide, until Myers knows that she is behind the wall, at the moment Laurie of a She screams and runs away scared, Myers had Laurie trapped, she was going to deliver the coup de grace when suddenly the Entity captures them both.

  • Myers needs a more noticeable change in his power, something that increases his movement speed and knows where to find survivors to stalk them in Tier-1, increase stalking speed in Tier-1, give him a special ability in Tier-2 that allows him keep the map under control and in Tier-3 make it more dangerous when playing against it. Like Oni for example. Some of his addons need a revision. But he wouldn't know exactly what to say except for the most OPs he has.

  • Killer vs Killer, something similar to 2v8 or 5v5 where the killer has to ruin his progress or kill his survivors at the other killer.

  • The only benefit it would give Michael would be more mobility and stalking. Haddonfield I hope to see that horrible map as soon as possible reworked, Laurie's face does not matter much to me and a Halloween Kills event, I would like that more than anything, a volume dedicated to Myers and Laurie and some cosmetics.

  • Maybe they are saving it for October but who knows, I suppose Haddonfield will be the last map to be reworked. and incidentally some new cosmetics meeting Behaviuor.

  • @GeneralV said:

Honestly it is not that bad. I never had any problems with it.

What is your experience as Freddy at Haddonfield?

  • I'm getting tired of fast killers like Blight and ranged killers like Trickster and at the same time Nemesis if you could tell. I would like another killer stalker but one that works differently from Myers and Ghostface.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/260944/how-would-you-make-the-clown-tier-s

I’m gonna be mocked, but I’ll say it anyway.

He genuinely doesn’t need many changes. He’s already extraordinary in the chase department. Get those downs quick enough, and that’s pressure enough on the survivors. This includes regularly slugging for no other reason than to waste that survivors time, and the time of another survivor that needs to help them.

    a) other than his current game breaking bugs that obviously need fixing, one other bug that needs addressing that has persisted since his rework is that sometimes switching bottles doesn’t work. You visually see the switch happen. You also see the colour change in the corner by the power icon. But when you throw your bottle it’s sometimes still the last selected bottle. Throwing the wrong bottle at the wrong time can be a mistake that costs the game by extending a chase way longer than it should have. So this needs fixing.

    b) the ability to switch between Tonics and Antidotes should be completely independent from any of the base mechanic cool downs. For example: if i’ve successfully M1’d a survivor, currently have the Tonic selected, but want to throw an Antidote next, I SHOULDN’T have to wait until the successful basic attack cool down ends to switch to an Antidote I want to throw. I should be able to tell the game while I have Tonic selected that I want to ready up an Antidote next (or vice versa) once the cool down has ended. I.e. if I want to start charging a throw immediately upon the cool down has ended, the game should allow me to select which bottle I want during cool downs. Currently this is a big, clunky problem holding him back in the heat of chaos sometimes.

Other than this Clown is in an amazing spot. I hope he’s fixed soon.

I still think sometimes that the antidote is not much use to me except after hanging a survivor, since I am used to playing Clown in the old way. The toning on the other hand I think it needs at least an improvement or an extension if I throw a bottle near a survivor but it does not fall on him, for example behind him. There are few times that happens, but I see it well as it is currently, it is a matter of having good aim, preventing survivors from looking back, blocking loops and always throwing the main bottle up if there is a roof or structure to expand the space.

  • We really hope that this update, they have decided to redeem themselves by fixing the performance and lag issue. Just as we can fully enjoy the new map of the police station.

There was a bug once where Survivors would get Exposed if they entered the gas rather than being hit directly with a bottle. Let's add that onto my changes as well sure, what could possibly go wrong with a Killer like that.

Also, nice profile pic my dude.

Yamaoka was ok I guess I don't mind it too much, springwood got better imo

The type of grass in Springwood is the only annoyance I see, hopefully that doesn't apply to Haddonfield and Yamoaka, before it was easier to hide through the bushes and now one can be visible by the change of grass. MacMillan I see it the same only less blue, Autohaven, the change of moon and Coldwind by day and the change of dawn.
