You’re better off just planning your item and perks in the lobby, than sinking time into opening and looting chests. They would have to combine several chest perks, and rework the others to do something else entirely, if chest searches are going to be worthwhile.
And there all bad in my opinion.

Anyone can rummage through crates, it takes awhile to get an item - because it's based on luck.
Pharmacy should probably allow players to rummage through crates in order to heal - or recover from debuffs faster.

how it works on every other spot on the maps
.If I go in coal tower and put a crow on top where the path is out the window it doesn't just dive down.
if I put one facing off the side of a dock on the swamp maps the path doesn't dive down.
Or if I put a crow on the side of the swamps main building the path doesn't shoot up.

If you're playing pig properly you should be hassling hatted survivors if you get a chance to. Dont go out of your way to, but if they're on a boc, reset their progress
If I am really struggling often times I do have to harass people on boxes.
I don't play pig much really so I guess I might be missing alot.

I'll usually only buy weapons, but some killers you can definitely notice certain cosmetics.
Trickster is the exception. Only the fire moon festival one I don't have because it looks weird.

Yeah I guess I didn't think of that. they could always make it a choice if you have both perks activated, same if you have appraisal.
also the buff is that if ur teammates get all the chest already you can still use ur perk

I don't like them either, but not because it's a recolor. I'm just generally not a fan of dyed hair.
On another note, have you ever played Dying Light? I found this cosmetic combo for Adam that makes him look like a DL runner, and I'm absolutely in love with it.

I feel the same way about Trickster as I do about Adam; Neither have big selections, but they sure have quality selections.
The only Adam cosmetic I hate is his Red locks.
But it doesn't feel like a surprise cause it was a recolor
