I thought it was going to be a lot of characters. I was going to go for Cheryl (obviously) but it's only four, and all Killers.
I'm wondering if, due to the low character count compared to DBD, if it's just going to be a one-off joke game that's like $15 *at most.*
Hopefully it's more expensive and is high quality, but I can appreciate it as a "joke game" if that's what they are intending.
I don't think any licenses will come in, and if there will be survivors I bet there going to be side characters. Dlc hopefully in the future if it's good enough. I'm a sucker for dating Sims.
Only 4 characters and all of them killers. And it will be only on Steam so most likely picking noone lol
Licenses are most definetely not coming, especially Freddy (just think about why he got burned by the parents in the first instance and imagine the PR disaster it could be if someone decides to make a fuss about it), Pinhead (BDSM undertones) and Myers.
Maybe Jigsaw and Ghostface since their holders seem to be the most willing to release stuff and colaborate with BHVR for mutual benefit, especially Ghostface because the character is BHVR made and the mask is the only thing licensed but still is a long shot.
Missed opportunity not putting some of the newer killers in.
Imagine dredge in a bikini, its many weird little arms slathering you in suncream. Perfect summer romance
Only on steam? That sucks alot
Maybe it will come later for consoles and maybe with more characters. But that will take some time
I'm hoping all outfits come to base game as well. Trapper... I never play him but gosh Damm.
Huntress...no further questions...maybe wraith
I wonder if anyone has any cameos in the game. My choice goes to Trapper but you know would be cool to see Mcote in the game as a cameo. Not saying I would take him if he was a fifth hidden easter egg character but
Mabye a side character
Trapper of course, man's was packing!
But Spirit is also looking gorgeous
Love to see deathslinger get some love. They wanted to pick characters with some tragedy in their story and few killers went through more torment and pain than him
As for his archetype he could be the quiet stoic one probably
As for what we have now The Jock Trapper.
But just imagine daddy Oni with white socks and sandals staying next to the grill with a bottle of beer. That would be hilarious.
This had me like...3 hours
first character i'm gonna go through is Huntress. If they add DLC characters to romance a couple ideas I have are Deathslinger as the rebel type and Nurse as the shy and selfless, overly caring type (she works in medicine...)
The booty goth spirit of course
The trickster its the narcisist
I got a thing for country guys, so I wouldn't mind if they made him the stereotypical country bumpkin
Fits him perfectly honestly
Ur art always impresses
Honestly, I'm just happy huntress is in it.
I am fully expecting, if the game does well, that BHVR will do a part 2 or a DLC. They don't really have a reason NOT to, unless they're making a different game with their characters.
I'm not buying it until Nurse comes out. Although Goth Spirit is a tempting second.
I'll probably have to end up going Trapper, I was hoping that there would be more than 4 characters to choose from though :(
Probably Spirit.
If they add more characters, I'd love to see Legion and Plague. Or maybe some survivors too!
Which legion member
How about both Frank and Julie together? Double the trouble!
Wraith, Wraith, Wraith, Wraith, Wraith! Just look at him in that beach getup. Mans is adorable.
I'm down for Legion and Plague, the rebels and the sickly waif, but would Legion be just like Frank or Susie, or would you be romancing all of them at once? You'd definitely end up joining the Legion, which would be pretty sweet.
Also, Artist is 100% the designated emo.
Just imagine plague getting dizzy all the time, tripping into the players arms... Haha.
Screw it, add all of them! Have Susie and Joey be romance-able, and Frank and Julie could be funny side characters (since they're already dating).
Hillbilly would fit it much better though
You are right, i mix up country bumpkin and cowboys. since there usually compared. my bad.
Dad Oni, Don't know if they would bring Akito in as his son though, could do some tragedy type stuff about making it up to ur kid.
take your romancing to the Max with The Hillbilly DLC in hooked on you. ETA Spring '23
None. I can't believe they are actually doing this. Who in the world plays dating games?
If they have voice acting i hope they make it as stereotypical as possible.
The accent is adorable
did you get the pun...?
Me.
I'm a Otome game nutjob
Gay, Straight, Bisexual. Love them all
The Sakura and galgun games are my fav.
HAHA, now that i read it over i got it. good one
I want to romance THE ######### out of The Trickster, no homo.
You Don't have to be gay to enjoy gay dating simulators.
Im Gay and i enjoy Straight and H dating simulators all the time
Giga chad trapper.
I had a blast seeing the story unfold in monster prom when going after the gents.
Still haven't played that game. gonna give it a try tho
Spirit is the only character I wanted to be perfectly honest. The other choices will be fun, I am sure. I guess I am weirded out by no Trickster or Legion.
Hold on to your buttocks dude...
It wouldn't surprise me if it's free. The only other game the dev has made is Colonel Sanders, which was basically a meme advertisement for KFC which was also free on steam. I imagine this will be similar and explains the low amount of characters.
Most likely as a announcer for the game.
NURSE?
Can't stutter in digital, buddy.
