  • I think its still inherently survivor sided. It's just it's the de facto casual mode so you aren't having 8 efficient survivors playing the game in most matches.

  • Steam probably not. Last I've heard moderation will actively ban for less than what they did with Pulsar here. Haven't heard anything much about the reddit and oof discord. That's just begging to be filled with trolls.

  • Bit sad to see. But wondering why the forums were less active after the Pulsar incident where people concluded a small infraction could get you banned is definitely a choice to behold. I wonder how I managed to stay this long considering I don't filter myself outside of straight verbal abuse at least from my memory especially compared to Pulsar which was WAY more respectful compared to me.

  • Well one engravings addon was removed because Billies base saw speed was increased without the charge time increase.

  • Tbf preventing tunneling is quite literally presenting bargain deal to the killer. Some will just not tunnel because they don't want to. Some will tunnel if presented with a deal that they think would be worse for them in the end and some will do it no matter what.

But like with sprint burst/lithe, if I leave hook as a relatively mid-range killer, they get insta ripped the moment my terror radius is gone and the first two survivors I see pre-run exhaustion to main building… of course I'm going to go back as the chase most likely wont be worth my time. So, when I get back, I'm presented with another deal, try to find the unhooker that could be half way across the map due to Self Preservation by now or try looking for the survivor closer to death.

At least BHVR halfway attempted to address a reason WHY the killer would tunnel by nerfing the perk but it's still an inherent base game thing that needs to be addressed and not just a singular perk.

No, I replied to your comment about whining and added context as to why.

Well you didn't really include enough. Just saying "the "whining" in question came because the design around her was extremely toxic by default. there's zero reason games should be going more than twice as long as normal because of a killers power." really doesn't put it in enough perspective.

If you said something along the lines with her reputation from her first version added to the game followed her through the second version sure but saying it like you did makes people think she remained as mostly her first version which she didn't. Also she still was gutted because of whining. People were complaining that the m1 killer could force hits and even double tap even though it was entirely in the survivors power if they got double tapped or not.

I'm talking specifically about the initial release of Skull Merchant, once something like that enters the game it's already over, the character is irredeemable even still for a lot of people. more or less I was hoping it would make BHVR put more thought into releasing killers regarding how interesting and interactive their gameplay is on the survivor side but it clearly didn't.

So you brought an irrelevant topic to the discussion? 2 line scan merchant was fine. She wasn't the strongest, but she wasn't weak either. They then committed to gutting the character that was in a good spot because people complained about what she once was instead of saying "this characters counterplay is fundamentally different than what she used to be, try to learn it."

  • Like others have pointed out, the first two clips is survivors playing badly and the fourth clip is literally just doctor with any form of attack recovery speed. Like sure in maybe the odd 1% of scenarios where this is better than just STBFL it can seem problematic but this is only really viable on the M1 killers which already are struggling.

the "whining" in question came because the design around her was extremely toxic by default. there's zero reason games should be going more than twice as long as normal because of a killers power.

If this was happening. Skill issue truly. If this was 1.0 merchant sure. But scan line merchant was legit fine. Note that a comment from a dev said about merchant was "set and forget" for an AREA DENIAL KILLER, lets not ever forget that line.

But I would like to ask. How was 2 scan line merchant "toxic" as you would say? Would really love an explanation.

They already have like 5 times. Time to spend resources on updating some of the other weak killers that have been ignored for years.

Yeah but when they admitted to basically gutting a killer to quell the whining to rework her later… you can only wonder where all that time went.

I've always found that line absolutely insane. The best chase runners never used WOO. They always know the tiles and how to run them.

Windows just helps new players, or players who suck at chase atrimg a couple of tiles together so they can last more than 10 seconds in a chase.

Windows helps new players yes. But good survivors still ran the perk because truth be told, when you can see EVERY resource within a large area it does remove a lot of the guessing and variability of chases ending early because of that. It was still a strong perk for not having to earn it.

STB doesn't affect a grand majority of games btw, Interestingly enough… it's also an anti tunnel perk… -5s of BT, STB Obliterated, SB Obliterated… Tunneling is STILL the number one most loathed aspect of DBD and it doesn't really have a close second, and BHVR continues to endorse it.

STB has a less than 3% pickrate and it doesn't set the killer back directly at all, it just moves a hook state. so destroying it yet again disproportionately affects solo queue by closing out another avenue of altruism build and destroying a perk that actually had value that made people want to bring it…

Which is another extremely bizarre design choice by the way, it's like BHVR thinks survivor perks that have a noticeable effect on a game are a bad thing. people want to bring perks that are going to have an effect, survivor players are getting increasingly angry because perks that do have an effect and can lead to memorable moments in the game or game saving plays are getting stripped away.

SB gets guaranteed value every game it's brought even though that value varies (now the perk sucks so it's debatable), but for nearly 10 years It could get you out of a deadzone and to a pallet or vault, now it really can't especially not against high movement killers. STB has no value if you are tunneled directly, and it only gets real value when someone is getting tunneled besides yourself. It's banned in COMP because when the very very top players in the game use it, it can be broken when going against some killers, just like there are perk builds for killer that are banned in COMP.

And i'll remind you BHVR almost never does anything to make up for nerfs on survivor side, it's just a trend of everything getting worse… what's most baffling is that it's also not even a reasonable nerf, like ever… they take good perks and turn them into abysmal perks because they just totally thrash every aspect of them. Vigil is a waste now, SB is a waste now, Distortion is a waste now, STB is a waste now, even perks like Dead Hard are extremely easy to wait out as killer now and killer power creep is making more and more things weak anyways.

Just because it doesn't affect the grand majority of games doesn't mean its not inherently a problem perk. It promotes literally just let your teammate sit on hook until near death then rip off before they die. If a killer wants to confirm the kill since you let the person hit second you can just crank out gens for nearly 140 seconds, rip off hook and transfer the hook stage to yourself so the killer is in a lose-lose situation they can do nothing about. They either chase the person with 1 hook stage or chase the person with 1 hook stage while 1-2 gens are left and 4 people are still up.

It's does MUCH more than the simple minded thinking of "it just moves a hook state"

  • I do like a lot of the changes but this specifically. This is just better Call of Brine as this says while not being repaired presumably meaning if the survivor leaves the gen it'll start regressing again or in other words kick the gen to apply a temporary ruin, and this can be applied up to 3 gens. Will Call of Brine be buffed to compensate for this or do you think the information from CoB roughly evens it out?

    Nvm misunderstood.

    image.png
  • I like most of them. Bit sad a bit of the "56 perks changed" is just making them more consistent at lower tiers.

A downside should not be "Others players can't use it now"

For how powerful the perk is… it should be until it gets reworked.

this seems to be the repeated talking point lol… Vigil and SB just got thrashed as well, yeah of course the next best thing is going to be the strongest if everything in front of it is nerfed and barely anything is ever restored for survivor anymore. and what's worse is BHVR almost NEVER regularly nerfs anything, it's always a curb stomp that feels unnecessarily bad.

What's next? Lithe is the strongest perk and it's always run so it needs to be nerfed? it's just a slow erosion of survivor perks which disproportionately affects the regular players.

STB has been the strongest perk in the game since it was added with Taurie. Sprint burst WAS the strongest EXHAUSTION perk. Not the strongest perk in general.

I understand what you are saying but I think the one time use for everyone was enough to combat this and extending exposed if they really needed too. (all tho with vigil nerfs exposed is more valuble and we also judt had less edurance off hook so less likley to body block the STB player) at very least would of been worth testing first before such a harsh change.

Every nerf was not "deserved". The injured for me ontop of the other changes to perk is what makes it a giga nerf to me. If they kept it as longer exposed time I dont see that as problamtic.

I had made suggestion berfore in another thread that if you STB someone you can not be STB so killer can keep pressure without hooks being shuffled, i understand the imporatnce of killer pressure, but this perk change does too much to try to cater to killers who are not good at looping so they need the gaurentted injured state for tracking and easier down if they run down 2 min timer surviour is sill injured.

I dont agree with you on pallet denisty so that test would be futile (I also play billy here so may be why i dont have issue with pallets)

Well yeah Billy would explain why you don't have much of an issue with pallet density. I would just much rather the perk be reworked because taking a hook state away from a death hook survivor to add to yourself is just way too volatile to properly balance. It affects some killers WAY more than others. But as it stands currently you would need to increased the duration of exposed to 2 minutes to make it a proper downside and even then it would still be too strong.

they’re gone to my dismay, i wanted them and was more than fine with the anti tunnel changes since i try my best not too since I’m competitive and don’t require playing against a handicapped team.

Eliminating a survivor at 4/5 gens is like playing streetfighter with your opponent having their life reduced to 3/4. It shouldn’t be able to happen and it cheapens the win.

I'm going to say this. If a survivor is dead at 4/5 gens they were majorly out matched. They shouldn't have even gone against you. The problem wish shoulder is people of even equal skill level using it in the game thats still inherently survivor sided against the majority of the roster. Sure Nurse, Blight, Jason etc don't have much issue with it but when its Nemesis, Clown, Doctor its literally game changing.

If you werent tunneling then the person who unhooked dies early, due to being targeted over your tunnel target, no?

Hypothetically yes but they still got their value. They still extended the time that four people are still in the match which is what makes the perk so strong. Up to four more perks still in the game, another survivor to go for saves, do gens, heal etc.

they also have been releasing strong killers for the past couple of years while almost all the survivor perks are mostly situational or bad. It’s funny your bring up skull merchant but don’t bring up the temper tantrums killer main content creators were having over that PTB that was supposed to help vs tunneling and give hook incentives. Guess who they listen they ended up listening to.

The "temper" tantrums where even an Ex-dev and balance lead came out to say the changes were bad? Lets say 9.2.0 ptb went through. Literally ALL killer diversity would die because who wants to play even a mid range killer where EVERYTHING is stacked against you. You got no breathing room because if you tunneled someone out you can no longer regress gens. If you got a kill before six stages they permanently got a 25% faster repair speed and note if you arent completing 2-3 gens by the time first chase is done against the majority of the killer roster, the survivors did something wrong.

Agree to disagree I really dont understand why it so hard to just say "that person looped better then me gg" then needing a cruch of 2 full minutes of that person being forced injured.

To be clear, not opposed to perk being changed. But the way they have changed it is silly and only their to benifit killers who could not take advantage of exposed.

Exposed to short? Extend it. Dont just giga nerf perk by making it one time use AND changing from exposed to injured AND increasing the time of effect. Three nerfs for one perk.

The problem was you could still be hit by shoulder even when not tunneling. You just need to understand that keeping 4 people in the match longer is worth the downsides that are possibly coming. 4 more perks in the trial, 1 more person to do a gen or waste time in chase with. Every nerf it got was super deserved.

And once again go against a STB user, that has exhaustion, current pallet density with even a mid range killer and try to take advantage of the exposed. Note this also screwed over killers who's M2 is their primary source of damage but even then some M2s on killers weren't physically strong enough compared to just M1'ing them.

  • @MashedBroccoli said:

If you haven’t noticed since last year the whiniest of voices (killer content creators) have gotten everything they wanted an more, despite the fact bhvr acknowledged survivors have received the short end of the stick and now here bhvr is again continuing to give in to these entitled streamers who want 4k’s handed to them on a silver platter.

These same killer content creators always talk about the things survivor had given to them as if the small pittance they receive isn’t compensation for the stuff killers get.

Bhvr its time to revert the syringe and styptic changes since we didn’t get any of the anti tunnel or anti slug stuff that promised. Why did killers get everything they were promised while everything survivors were promised got scrapped.

So wheres the unique hook incentives that were proposed on those PTBs? Survivors literally got an entire killer gutted to quell the whining about her until they can rework her instead of telling people to get good.

  • @random1543 said:

    I dont agree with you.

It is not the same "super strong" effect i dunno what perk change you are reading.

Can only be used once and you get hit with a absurd amount of time in broken. 2 whole minuites of broken is stupid and only is their to help low skill killers who could not take advantage of exposed

Now the perk is utterly useless againt top teirs. Im sure they are really gonna care that STB was used when that the person that used it is forced to be injured for 2 minutes.

Yay i can still use against skull merchant i guess but perk is clearly gutted. So agree to disagree because wont be swayed here.

I would like to see you take advantage of the 40 seconds of exposed when paired with exhaustion and current pallet density when it's an actual GOOD survivor. I'll tell you what, you won't be getting that M1 hit unless its a killer that can quite literally force an M1 which not a lot can. And against a majority of the killer roster you only need that one shoulder the burden even more-so the face if your teammates are on your skill level.

Taking away a kill earlier than expected did warrant a bigger downside than a pathetic 40 second exposed.

  • No reason? This perk was considered by many to be the strongest survivor perk in the game. Preventing a kill for the low cost of taking that persons hook state and 40 seconds of exposed. It still provides that same super strong effect with harsher downsides. Almost anyone would agree that having four survivors up with one hook stage on two of them is WAY stronger than one dead survivor and three with no hook stages.

    It's FAR from gutted.

Shoulder exists so friends can introduce new people to the game and not quit because killers will only tunnel new players. doesn't matter if it's at 5 gens.

"i have 5 hooks and no kills! this is so oppressive and unfair!" they say as all those hooks were on one survivor.

So can you point me to a dev saying that's the intent behind the perk or no? I'm going to assume no and it's just your personal assumption. Either way its effect was stupidly powerful for next to no downside. You can still keep that new player in the game longer but it shouldn't be as powerful as it was especially in a more coordinated swf. Balancing a perk THAT strong around new players was not healthy for the game.

  • Shoulder deserved this for a while. A 40 second expose that M1's could still barely capitalize on due to pallet density was not it. For the price of the exposed and sharing of one of your hook states you prevented a kill earlier than you would like. In a lot of people's eyes that is a MAJOR upside compared to the downside and it still does that with the nerf to the perk. They just made the punishment harsher and not so "just rip off hook at no sign of a terorr radius and pre-run shift W and you can ignore the downside"

  • From the Japanese DBD account it's nice to see that Shoulder the Burden actually has a tangible downside for what you gained from using it.

You've spent hours on this forum debating me and others, doesn't look like time is the issue to me.

You can just say that you can't prove these things in game it's okay to admit that!

There's plenty of killer restrictions as well you know? Perks like dms, aura perks, many totem perks etc are completely banned. S tier killers are even MORE restricted.

Well of course because dredge is one of the worst killers in the game on most maps, but on midwhich and other certain indoor maps? He's literally one of the best and nearly unbeatable.

Yeah read that last part and read between the lines. You need a basically unrestricted killer (the dredge was allowed to run ruindying and eruption), running on its best set of maps, against a 4 man swf not able to use the strongest perks in the game, no duplicate perks and basekit features to make them even viable. Does that sound remotely balanced? Imagine these survivors were allowed to run exhaustion, STB, reassurance. The dredge would be at the mercy of them making game changing mistakes rather than being better.

Also I'm just finding it funny people like you think that exhaustion is required for 80% of the roster or else they down you too quick when in those same comp dredge matches no one was allowed to run any exhaustion perks and still got down to 1 gen. Now imagine just the slightly above average players allowed to run exhaustion and all the other super strong perks.

If you know the average result why are you so scared to play against me?

I think we know exactly why.... All bark no bite.

Denying the results from comp? Mate most comp matches end in 2-4ks, somekillers like dredge are almost always 4ks. You are clueless about comp so don't bring it up. Comp is a completely different ballpark anyway with all the perk bans I'm not even talking about that.

Because it's a waste of my time. And by results of comp I mean survivors are by far the most restricted role and the killer has to fight tooth and nail just to do anything. No restrictions and dredge would be losing on most maps. Also given Dredge is almost exclusively given Midwich which is one of its best maps.

  • Different reasons. Sometimes some just want to tunnel due to their current disadvantage in the trial, some do it it because the unhooked intentionally body blocks the killer with their basekit BT and perks like DS, or sometimes the other survivors just don't make their chases appealing enough.

I've been playing the game since before 2020. I think I would know a bit more than you just from that alone even if I play on and off. Of course, the person with the higher sample size would seem better but the person with longer time in the field generally knows more.

The literal sentence was "a bit above pure garbage without ds combo". Did I say it's pure garbage? You know what pure garbage is? Autodidact is pure garbage

Idk when people use the word "garbage" they usually refer to not worth running in the slightest. And would you say slightly above garbage is suddenly worth running? Once again stop majorly downplaying Plot Twist.

  • @lovlor said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4116455#Comment_4116455

unbreakable is and never was garbage. and no one said plot twist is complete garbage you are making that up.

Funny how you just gloss over your own mistake about basic game facts and move on debating

"Come back when you get some more experience under your belt."

I'm open to competing our game experience. I have a screenshot above. OFFICIAL dbd stats. Get yours and let's see who should get more experience

"Like what the actual hell?? You need to learn basic game facts that plot twist refresh after gate is powered, not after being unhooked. And it is just a bit above pure garbage (not pure garbage because can be good when force killer to pick in some rare scenarios) when you dont bring ds as combo. Just use your medkit."

Still insinuating that self pick ups are not a good effect when they inherently are. Especially one where you can choose to down yourself and pick yourself up to full heal and get a speed boost to help make up for lost time. Stop majorly downplaying a top 15 perk in the game. As for official stats its known not even BHVR themselves on their website tracks it that well and knowledge can come from not playing the game religiously.

You ask anyone decent at the game they'll tell you autodidact is hot garbage.

Sure you CAN last long without an exhaution, but an exhaustion is nearly GUARANTEED to extend your chase significantly, especially against all these new crazy op killers.

MrTatorHead plays against noob killers so he can farm his video content. He literally farms his content off of either noob killers who are clueluess or the worst m1 killers in the game.

Yeah i'll gladly play clown against you guys with no perk restrictions. Clown is alot stronger than you think i wouldn't be underestimating that killer. When do you wanna do this? Get your best 4man squad we can run it up whenever you want.

It's quicker and safer to heal with a medkit or selfcare than plotwist, so plot twist is only used in combo with DS and DELI, one of which did get hard nerfed this patch.

I would say exhaustion is guaranteed to extend chases it's only ever not guaranteed if you are the most oblivious person on the planet or you're running smash hit against a killer that respects every pallet.

Also about Tatorhead. You can say he goes against XYZ but he has probably some of the best fundamentals in the game unlike the average survivor.

Also, I don't ever recall accepting a custom offer because I already know the average result. No holds barred a good survivor team will STOMP a clown on most maps. Not to say Clown can't win it requires heavily on the survivors making mistakes rather than actually outplaying the survivor. Like I said earlier, comp is a joke but does prove something. The game is survivor sided at its core it's just your opponents can either be an infant with the sharpest sword in the world that can easily cut through your sword but won't manage much since it's an infant. But put that same sword in the hands of someone equal or even slightly better and its game over. Denying the results from comp is just intellectual dishonesty.

You clearly have not tried Autodidact. You're lucky if you get to 5 tokens by the end of a match. It might be different at the moment due to the increased skill checks bug. But it shows that there will soon be nothing left to be nerfed if you have to use Autodidact as an argument how "OP" survivors are.

Auto Didact is literally a staple in my build since 2021. The perk does just fine and does even better since its buff a while ago. If I only get 5 tokens by the end of the match it most likely means the killer played super un-optimally and the match ended way quicker than expected. Also never once said Auto Didact was OP? I asked how it was horrific and I've only gotten answers from people that seemingly only care for a perks value if it's immediate.

"Also plot twist only working with ds/deli lol. It's literally just a full solo heal for 2 hook stages because for some reason it needs to refresh after being unhooked."

Like what the actual hell?? You need to learn basic game facts that plot twist refresh after gate is powered, not after being unhooked. And it is just a bit above pure garbage (not pure garbage because can be good when force killer to pick in some rare scenarios) when you dont bring ds as combo. Just use your medkit.

EDIT: I really love how killer mains downvote me when I correct an error about BASIC game facts from this person

Oh, sorry I got one part of the perk wrong unlike the other person who got the entire perk wrong. Either way a full solo heal is still incredibly valuable without DS or Deli when it straight up just power creeps Unbreakabkle. What is Unbreakable nearly garbage now even though its universally agreed self pickups will ALWAYS be strong? But even ATTEMPTING to say "and its just a bit above pure garbage" is all the more telling of the skill level you think at especially when you use the verbiage "killer main." Come back when you get some more experience under your belt.

People are rarely using sprint burst now because lithe is just the next easiest option. I guarantee if Dead Hard for distance was back you would rarely see any Lithes. Does that make Lithe bad?

Thanks for proving my argument about dev keep nuking usable perks and leave survivor no choice but to choose the next in line.

And Autodidact is total garbage perk

Do you not know what "the next easiest option" means? It means the next turn your brain off get value. Now people needs to actually try to get value which the average survivor doesn't like to do.

  • @Withered8 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4116243#Comment_4116243

So should we nerf lithe now that it's the easiest exhaustion option?

No autodidact is not good full stop. Botany is flat better in every situation. Good luck getting to the 60% healing progress amount before the game has been decided. It doesn't even work on self heals and can literally do nothing if you don't get a skillcheck. It is universally agreed upon that it's a horrific perk. Fun? Idk maybe for you.

Saying you don't run exhaustion perks is yet another crazy take. Exhaustion perks are by far some of the best perks in the game because they are often the only way to stall chase against strong killers. Uhhh 80% of the killer roster will ######### on you in chase if they are good at the killer and you don't have an exhaustion. I can prove it to you right now in a custom if you'd like. So if you die to a killer that's not nurse or blight your teammates suck or you made some terrible mistakes? Crazy once again I can immediately disprove this, get your best 4man to play against me and i'll even play a mid killer against that.

Ressurgance you have to be near a hook to use it? If that's not earning it what counts as earning it??? Pop pain res dms grim all you have to do is hook someone? How is that any different? Shoulder you need to literally unhook someone? Plot twist only works if you combo it with ds/deli or other perks.

I'd like to see this "universally agreed upon" statistic that auto didact is a "horrific" perk. As for the other perks. STB saves your team immense pressure but not allowing the killer a kill earlier than expected. I think you're also think you're misunderstanding Resurgence, Resurgence heals YOU off hook for 70% of your healing progress for free. You did literally nothing and you saved 3/4 of healing time.

How is saying I don't run exhaustion an insane take? I simply like to play in a way to get the killer to chase me and not incentivize them to go back and tunnel like how a lot of survivors don't seem to understand that level of macro decision making. And people can last very long in chase without exhaustion. May I direct you to MrTatorHead who ran survivor without perks for multiple years and still has on average longer chases than a lot of other survivors because of his immense game sense which the average survivor lacks. As for playing a mid-tier killer against a swf…. Yeah, play clown with no perk restrictions see where that gets you. Comp is naturally a joke but it does prove one thing and that's the game is survivor sided at its core but people rarely ever make full use of it. It just feels like intellectual dishonesty to say "Uhhh 80% of the killer roster will ######### on you in chase if they are good at the killer and you don't have an exhaustion."

Also plot twist only working with ds/deli lol. It's literally just a full solo heal for 2 hook stages because for some reason it needs to refresh after being unhooked.

Reassurance you need to waste time getting close to the hook. Autodidact is the worst perk in the game so this has to be complete irony. Lithe requires you to vault a window.

If sb is still good why does no-one use it anymore, do you use it anymore?

People are rarely using sprint burst now because lithe is just the next easiest option. I guarantee if Dead Hard for distance was back you would rarely see any Lithes. Does that make Lithe bad? No it does not. Now that people have to actually think about using their sprint burst and not save it to use it in the killers face with infinite value people don't like it. It's still VERY good for pre-running. And reassurance literally saves 30 seconds of hook time if the killer is dead set on confirming a second hook stage/kill. If the killer doesn't camp to confirm a second/death hook? Well congrats the killer is playing un-optimally and think they can afford going for more chases. As for auto didact.. do you ever use it? 60% healing progress for ONE skill check anywhere with the only downside being your first heal is slightly slower since on average you get at least one skill check per heal so its FAR from "the worst perk in the game" I'm sure MANY would debate there's plenty of others.

I personally don't run exhaustion as I prefer my safety of my teammates off hook and myself. Unlike a lot of current DBD players I actually know how to play loops and conserve tiles to their fullest against the majority of the killer roster as you don't need exhaustion perks vs the majority. When I die is usually either one of three things, I genuinely mess up, my teammates just aren't the best or the killer is nurse or blight.

I implore you. Please tell me how you rightfully earn the strongest survivor perks in the game for how powerful they can be. Examples being Shoulder the Burden, Resurgence or Plot Twist.

By that logic survivors have to earn most of their perks??? You need to unhook to make perks like we'll make it, fast track and deli work. Pop all the gens for adren to work, fault or jump off a height for lithe or balanced to work, do gens for blastmine/wiretap/chemical trap etc to work

Literally the worst argument you could have picked.

Lets see. Sprint burst (still good), lithe, Resurgence, Reassurance, Botany, Auto Didact which is an ultra sleeper pick, Plot Twist which is just great anti-slug and self heal, anti-heal nerfs etc.

What can killers get for free regression wise, Lay Waste, Call of Brine and Overcharge. In terms of time efficiency survivor has been buffed majorly inadvertently or not.

Your eyes are clouded in Bias. Just say you think killers deserve buffs more than survivor. Sorry i missed the part where killers have to earn their perks like corrupt ruin etc.

So you selectively read? I said MOST perks not all.

How have survivors been buffed recently? How have killers been nerfed recently?

The roles aren't comparable. Survivors need much more fine tuning than simply adjusting a single number on a killer. Buffing survivor buffs survivor as a WHOLE like how every survivor got +10 seconds to hook stages a while ago which might not seem much at first but EVERY hook means every survivor can stick on that gen just a little bit more. Every survivor perk getting buffed is not that same as a killer getting buff especially as its more inherent that killers have to earn most of their super powerful perks while survivors simply get it for existing or getting unhooked.

  • Wait are you saying they un-killswitched flashlights while the bug persisted?

  • Sprint Burst was just part of the reason people don't really flock to M1 killers. Gen speeds, general survivor strength, map strength and pallet density and some other exhaustion perks are all contributing factors. Sprint Burst provided way too much value and ease of use for no downside other than not being able to stack exhaustion perks and Iron Will.

  • I'm going to be harsh on this. Skill issue. Clown is debatably at his weakest since they made 6 bottles base as pallet density just screws up his game plan of "ok if they run to the next tile they're dead" due to the slow bottle + speed bottle but now a pallet every 15 feet so setting up has gotten significantly harder especially when they nerfed the base kit hinder, flask of bleach and ether 15% vol while also hitting the base hinder duration.

By all intents and purposes clown is a noob stomper.

Have you ever actually looked at the rulesets? Because a TON of killer perks and tactics are also banned, who is expected to win is highly dependent on the killer.

Yeah but in general survivors have WAY harsher restrictions and they still come out on top 90% of the time. It's one of the biggest reasons why they use hooks to score points because if they based it off the killer winning it would be "who got a faster 1-2k"

This game hasn't been Surv-sided for years at this point. That's’s not even an opinion; it’s a well-established fact, backed up by official statistics.

Anyone who refuses to face reality is merely exposing their skill issue, or is simply stuck in 2018 and keeps parroting the same old lines in an attempt to justify their bad games.

In power level it is undeniable that a majority of the killer roster is worse than it is for survivors even with a strong set of perks. Average game wise it's a mixed bag unless you specifically 4 stack with the sweatiest stuff possible.

  • It is when both sides are of somewhat equal skill level and trying to win.

  • So we're just calling anything slop now huh.
