Spite is enough reason for me

Oh another
Survivor: "no matter what happens you have to unhook me or die trying team."
(I've gotten a lot of hate mail about this) I've had players facecamped message me demanding i should have unhooked them.
Killer: " survivors aren't allowed to hide. Hiding is lame"
A bonus one thats an actual rule based upon how the game is designed with a flaw
Killer: "okay so I need to chase survivors at least a little bit to score better but not too long that I dont score well. I also need to let survivors save their friends in order to score better. Makes sense that I shouldn't kill quickly...I guess"
-
Survivor: "killers can't focus on a single Survivor"
Killer: "survivors can't body block an unhooked Survivor all the way to the exit"
-
Yeah I think some sort of mori would be good basekit for killers. I honestly feel like even ebony moris are overly weak now
-
Have you seen Avatar the last airbender?
Basically pc is the fire nation to most people who aren't pc players.
Pc players often view console gamers as less skilled and sometimes (unfortunately) less intelligent because of buying console over pc.
I just play to have fun myself and don't care what people use as long as they don't bash me for console or shove in my face pc is better
-
Its definetly a mess for survivors. I like to look at it as a temporary hardmode that will in the long-run help me get better at the game once its easier as survivor again. Sure ill depip a lot but learning to get better is a little more important to me
-

As long as something more or less equal is added to killer's basekit, since you're basically giving survivors 5th perk for free.
Yeah I'd be on board with that. I think killers largely have the short end of the stick compared to survivors as is. Killers should get something somewhat equal. I've always been a fan of hatch not automatically opening but thats just me and I'm not sure if thats equal really
-

I'd be fine with something like BT being basekit if it was a significantly weaker version that wasn't abusable and we finally addressed all the other second chance perks in the game.
Yeah thats kinda how I feel about it. I dont think it should be exactly the same as borrowed time but I would like at least something that doesn't doom you on the receiving end due to an idiot teammate who unhooks right by killer and they don't even have borrowed time.
-
No one knows but I maure its delayed at least because of everything going on. Im inclined to think we may hear something at the end of the lunar new year event or close to it so I'm guessing sometime next week to have time to address current issues, wrap up the event, and get at least some sort of teaser finished up. I could be wrong though
-
The vast majority of games are skill based to some degree (besides rng situations). This is no different and requires much more skill than a lot of games
-
I largely like it. It has some issues but the fact that neither side is amazing on it is a pretty good thing imo. I like the theme of it and would love to have another swamplike map honestly
-
Jack i liked a lot but I kinda don't want him in because he won't be as good as he could be unless they did make him talk and have personality but killers In this game dont so I dont think that would happen with him.
-
I feel kinda mixed honestly. On the one hand I try to be team oriented and I think that is really much better for the health of the game but on the other I have been screwed over much more times than helped honestly in solos. I still try to help my team as best I can partially because even if they don't return the favor or I get killed for unnecessarily sticking my neck out for my team then I learn to get better at the game.
-
I'm sick of people suiciding as I'm right in front of them to grab them. Thats by far the worst
-
But still lost my items in the game
-
Survivor: ash (has bad perks, is big, and loud but I like him well enough still). If you want a strictly good survivor ace is the best option to try hard with being small, having dark clothes, and being quiter than a lot of others.
Killer- i mix is up a lot but use more myers, leatherface, and spirit
-
Realm matters for sure. Some killers are borderline not viable on certain maps just because the map design counters their inherent abilities like the game and billy. Some maps also greatly help certain killers as well. This also doesnt even factor in maps that are just in general difficult for killers.

Hard disagree on billy and Freddy
while Freddy is the worse one I think they did a great job recreating him from his laugh to his sound design
I find billy really cool and I love his snarled breathing as it fits him very well alongside his scream when he sprints
Freddy definetly has one of the better audios visually he seems the worst while other killers have at least okay both.
Billy i think his audio is okay. Not terrible but not amazing same as visually. He just doesn't standout in either to me

Here is my licensed killer take. Top are those that are fine as is, pyramid head is largely okay but could use minor tough up, pig/Michael have a lot of the right components but looks a little off and cartoony, demo has features that aren't textured very well, and Krueger not only looks off but is based on the least popular Krueger but fails to even look like him well
-
Here's my take on the original characters. I forced myself to limit it to 3 in each area
-
I'm inclined to think adjusting things like the invisible wall on autohaven is easier to address since its an individual asset issue whereas hitboxes you have to address a number of assets and problem solve if its an issue with killer or survivor.
You also have to factor in if something game breaking. Sure hitboxes, pallet issues, and unbreakable totems are issues but you can still largely play the game (and they don't completely stop the other from progressing) while invisible walls the killer can't do anything about
-
I feel conflicted on some killers like myers. Myers himself is pretty basic already (which is intentional) so its hard for me to know how to rank a licensed killer like that. I do think he looks slightly off though
-
Yeah ill not try very hard especially if i got hooked as a result of a teammate (such as they blocked me on accident, brought the killer to me, they did a loud action, etc) and they make no attempt to save me as well as their teammates. I've had games where the exit was opened, me and 2 players went to save the 4th and id get downed (first hook) and the 3 other survivors leave me (killer hadn't hooked or injured the other 2 at all). Very annoying and frustrating that solo play gives very little reason to be team oriented
-
Granted I still don't know the full backstory to all the killers, this is about where I think they match up
-
Just removing perk tiers would greatly improve the game but I also like the idea of shrinking the blood web some
-
I'll take a variety of dry rubs over most sauces
-
I really liked re7 honestly. I was glad that they tried to mix things up to help keep things fresh.
I'm honestly inclined to think this will be the most like chance they release a resident evil chapter since resident evil just hit a big anniversary, re8 is coming out, and remake4 has been getting a lot of info coming out lately. If not now, then I kinda don't see it happening anymore.
For killers if it were Jack or Nemesis they would have to have an obsession perk is my guess since they are obsessed with their prey. I'm a bit over Nemesis honestly so i don't want him. Jack would be great if he talked but I dont think he would so I don't want that either.
I'd love Birkin or Mrx is the most honestly, but I'd also love a bigger chapter (which isn't necessarily out of the question either)
-
Yeah I don't think I'm at a point where she is over powered necessarily but she does seem to lack much solid counterplay. Its also possible that I just did well with her and maybe I should pick her up haha. I previously tried her back when she was weak and just wasn't into her but now I'm kinda liking her.
-
Yeah killers shouldn't have weapons either. Matches should be decided in dance battles instead.
-
I think more perks should definetly be available since 4 is hardly any as is. Id love for all to be available but I understand why not. Maybe have 4 survivor and 4 killer perks that rotate out.
Also, the bloodpoint reward for duplicates should be bumped up a ton. I did it early on and now realize 150k bp for 2000 shards just isnt even close to worth it.
-
I feel kind mixed on this. I think Halloween was what made me excited about the game and feel confident it was actually going places and I really enjoy the Halloween movies.
Oni's is probably my favorite newer one (newer as in new to me since I just came back after 2 years)

I think it's Myers actually.
He's literally stated to be Evil Incarnate, more a force of nature than a man, plus, the Entity can't control him.
I think Demogorgon also has a good case, but I'd be more interested to know how the Mind Flayer and the Entity interact.
I'm inclined to think Freddy would be weak against pyramid head, demogorgon, and Myers since they are the least plausible to experience fear which fuels Freddy since they are more animalistic than others while myers and pyramid head are often associated as cousins of the personification of fear so I dont they would experience fear themselves
-
I think I'd mostly consider individual encounters rather than a character being able to keep reviving and would consider their peak power regardless of if it came before or after the Entity was involved. Freddy id give home field advantage as well

I guess you'll have all the "guys with knifes and other serial killers" at the bottom of the list, then the more "fantastic creatures" on the top of the list.
If we are talking about one on one duel, I don't even think someone like the nurse or the spirits who are basically ghosts could be really harmed in any way.
Yeah I guess I would assume that since pallets effect them they can still be harmed physically at least (kinda lore related but also gameplay related)
-
A survivor didn't boop the snoot
-
Id love a chapter that has two killers rather than one survivor and killer in it
-
Id love a scarecrow killer that had fake scarecrows he could pose as around the map
-
I feel the same way about last survivor getting an open hatch. Id trade noed for that any day
-
He just isnt that good. Once a survivor has the right perks he would be bottom half of killers but he does mess up new players a lot more

Isn't that massively flawed?
"You played too well during chases, no points for you!"
Oh yeah it totally is. Its really dumb but thats just kinda how it is as of now.
-
Its also possible you didn't chase enough as in you ended chases very quickly by downing survivors quickly. I've had games I've 4ked and still got bronze because I wiped the team out all at once. Its just an issue on how scores are calculated and not emblems. Its just how they score unfortunately

If you crave a game like dbd I would recommend resident evil resistance
This. I loved it and thought it could potentially be solid competition against dbd but capcom decided to move the team to the new re multiplayer game. Still a great game though and they left the door open to go back to it for more updates so let's hope so
-
I believe they announced its going to be in the next shrine.

Alternatively, why should the last survivor get punished for their teammates failures? It's completely possible that every gen that got done in a match was done by one survivor, why shouldn't they get the escape when their teammates were bad?
Thats definetly possible but honestly most of the time I've found the worst survivor being the last one left who goes for hatch since they just let their teammates die in order for hatch to open. I like the idea of a key spawning in a chest and the survivor has to find it so that its not a guaranteed exit like it is now.
-
Welcome to videogames where kids play videogames way before they are supposed to. GtA is far worse and far more common tbh
-
I do like Alien a lot but Predator fits a lot more in the game especially with hooking survivors

BHVR ban this cretin
Hey it had it to be referenced since someone said shrek
-
The hatch should not spawn when 0 gens are done. The hatch spawning overly punish killers for doing well (especially spawning opening). Hatch should never automatically open imo but each map always spawn 1 key in a chest to even it out.
