And here i thought Hillbilly would get something alongside these ladies.
Trailer title got me good.
Now I want an Elvis hillybilly skin

Id say minor nerf but nothing major. Id like him knocked down to pyramid head level (which is already pretty close) and have killers put at about that level overall
-
Yeah its kinda hard to get an accurate read on their strength because some killers are only viable because of addons like Myers.
-
Scoring should changed to count hook states and not just hooks imo.
-
Although Nea looks awful...man that hair looks bad
-
DC penalties should be harsher and afk needs to even harsher than dcing imo. Dcing doesn't wreck your team nearly as much as being afk. Things happen and yeah there are situations where accidents happen or something comes up but those are not nearly as common as people make them out to be.
-
Personally I like to differentiate between when no clear threat is present and staying around hook the entire time vs staying closeby because you see someone attempting to unhook or about to attempt to. Those to me feel entirely different while the first to me is camping while the second is more defensive if that makes sense. They just fall into different categories to me although both are legit strategies, the first one I can empathize more as feeling toxic while the second is more common sense
-
For me, face camping is pretty self explanatory and no debating on what that is.
Proxy camping to me is basically the same but you are just moving around in a small area around the hook. How would you define camping?
-
A fee years ago they did have killers release way too strong (Freddy and Legion) and that went very poorly. I believe their reasoning now is that having a weak killer is easier to adjust while too strong of one its easier to nerf into the ground accidentally (like what happened happened freddy originally).
-
I mean, id spend it on something at least. It isn't worth throwing away blood points imo. You'll get plenty more back by the time he releases (could very easily get another million). Just level up a killer you are at least mildly interested in. Maybe spend 500k
-
In short, no.
The game is very catered to survivors overall. For example, I had a game yesterday where I should have had a 4k. 2 survivors already gone, 2 downed. I hooked one and that hooked one 4% off hook (no perks or addons to buff it), I downed him again and got DSed immediately. They ran to hatch and had a key, opened the hatch, and the other downed survivor was already on the hatch so they both got out. This all happened within 15 seconds. There are too many second chances given to survivors. Having 3 second chances given to a single survivor in that time is insane. I'm getting pretty sick of how much killers have stacked against them beyond being just 4v1 and am pretty convinced that the game seriously needs rebalancing
-
Leader and prove thyself are two perks I'm a little surprised dont get run more often. Id also throw in spies from the shadows for killer being another one

If I want to tunnel someone to death I'm going to always remember how many hooks they have - Usually it's when I try to 2 hook everyone where I forget. I won't ever forget if I want a survivor to die. If I want that survivor dead they're going to die. If anything I'm more likely to tunnel not being able to remember who I've not hooked yet.
Legit a hook counter will only help people play nicer it's not going to encourage tunneling anymore than it already happens.
Yeah i totally agree
-
Certainly better than the last few updates.
It makes me hopeful but I'm holding out for them to address some bigger and more important issues with the game
-
Legion feels kinda like a knockoff Ghostface in looks. Just not that interesting. I can understand not loving trickster (I hate the name myself and it's just weird having one unmasked killer with a human face. I hope they offer unmasked killer cosmetics soon to make him mesh more) but he has a unique personality and is original within the game which is nice.

Ever since the EGC they don't arm unless a gen was completed after the trap was placed on someone's head. So if all the gens are done the traps are useless. They are more for slow down than keeping people from leaving. If they're busy taking a trap off their heads, they aren't repairing gens.
Man having the main part of her kit worthless at end game is rough... i can't think of any killers that have the main part of their kit useless at the end (some have kits that I could see not being terribly useful but they can have some uses)

For example, picture this scenario:
Dwight plays perfectly for the entire match without being found. Until the last generator has been activated, and he gets caught in a deadzone and downed. Now Dwight has a trap on him. Now Dwight is absolutely screwed.
The Pig has no reason to leave Dwight, because there's no more generators to protect. She can open the door to force the End Game collapse, and there's literally nothing Dwight can do. The Pig can simply force him away from the key boxes with no fear of wasting time to losing generators.
So now Dwight can't escape because the trap will kill him, but he can't get the trap off because the Pig is camping the box. There's simply nothing he can do except wait for the End Game Collapse to kill him, there's 0 counter play to that.
The way it works now means it would actually be Dwight's fault for being caught in that situation, because he had the trap put on him in advance before the last generator activated.
Although not exactly the same, I kind of view that scenario basically the same as noed which I dont even know if I feel like is totally uncalled for.
I just feel like, and again I could be wrong, pig needs some buffs to her kit to be used much more though

It'd be too easy to save your traps for the end game and basically get effortless kills by preventing them from getting a box.
Yeah I think she could get some effortless kills but I doubt all that many honestly. It also feels like a risky play to wait until the end to use them. She just feels a bit too weak already to me that having that extra weakness is a little overkill to me.
I could be totally wrong since I don't use her much
-
Ohh I didn't know that. Weird. That feels like an unnecessary limitation to the pig to me.

Granted I still don't know the full backstory to all the killers, this is about where I think they match up
Id most likely put him right before Ghostface and bump huntress up to B

Bumping this with trickster being added

Comparing it to a Brand New Part should show you that it is not worth a Perk Slot at all.
It just has wayyy too many downsides
1. Gives essentially the same progress as brandnew part at max but brand new part doesn't take out a perk slot and can be used instantly.
2. You must hit great skill checks to use it
3. If you are playing a slugging killer the perk is useless
4. You can only get max potential if all of your teammates are hooked 3 times, which they will all be dead and you don't need gens anymore.
5. Tokens reduce its effectiveness so once you use the tokens it's a dead perk slot
Honestly in my top 10 worst survivor perks imo

Woo! Finally got the hits as Nurse. Got put against a bunch of newbies. It was a struggle, but I managed to get more than 2 hits on chain blinks. (Though I keep blinking when I only have one charge, which screwed me up a lot)
Hey congrats!
-
Killer perks are much better than survivor perks. Killer ones I could see being used at least some with two of them (not crowd control) potentially being meta perks.
Crowd control can help shut down survivor loops but is a hex so meh
The exposed perk can shut down body blocking and can allow a killer a lot of power to down an entire team if a team isn't careful
no way out can make the end up hell for survivors and complements other endgame perks
Survivor Perks are potentially the worst released on a survivor.
You get the most limited exhaustion perk in the game (where killer can deny it to you, so you'll likely get it one time max).
The gen perk only works as a losing perk with ( at best) gives you one brand new part worth of progress but your teammates would each need hooked 3 times before you worked on any gens since first hook and you lose your tokens so you have a dead perk at the end of the day and you must get a great skill check in order to use it. You get more value running brand new part and having a perk that is in effect the entire game.
Self preservation is the most interesting perk for survivor but doesn't sound super useful. It will be good as a soloing perk most likely but won't help your team overall
The killer sounds cool overall though
-
Honestly self preservation is the most interesting new survivor perk to me. I dont imagine it is good but it does interest me enough to try it out. The other two are just outright not good.
-
Pyramid head id say easily top 10 best killers (potentially top 5) while demo id put in the bottom half of killers.
Pyramid head has just about all the tools to counter a lot of meta perks and had tools other killers don't have. Demo is much less uniquely equipped and is very loud

and if the argument were that its a matter of skill survivors should have to remember too
Yeah I agree
-
I hope all characters who don't have a map get one eventually
-
It's just not that good. Having a perk that doesn't do anything until your team starts getting wrecked, and even then doesn't do a ton, just isnt good. Basically you get a spare part if your team gets hooked a bunch. It's a losing perk that is only effective when you are losing by a lot but at that point you likely aren't worrying about gens as much if your team has been hooked 9 times. It's very bad
-
Although I haven't actually done it, it could be trying a build for myers more around harming the obsession. It would catch survivors off guard (especially the obession) and you can run items that increase your obsession stalking.
-
Dwight is a good choice honestly. He has some perks that are pretty good and perks that are team based which will help you a lot in the game starting out.
Now out of the 3 you mentioned I did Nea but I'd recommend Feng. I really like lithe myself
-
If I'm hook because of a teammates mistake I'll struggle for sure.
If I'm on hook and a teammate makes no effort to save me and just camps hatch I try as hard as possible to stay around and have them die.
I'm in the camp if a teammate is on hook because of you that you are obligated to do your best to get them off hook.
I'm also in the camp that survivors should generally make at least an attempt to unhook unless there are certain circumstances (already injured, killer has noed, and depends on the killer if they can't 1v1 well)
-
I just dont like the name and ihe makes me want some unmasked killers added some (including some preexisting ones). Otherwise I like him a lot. He sounds cool
-
Afk survivors should get a harsher punishment since it literally ruins the game for your team no matter what they do
-

How are her challenges difficult? They were the easiest on there.
Hers were hard for me since I haven't even attempted to play er prior to the challenge while most others just required the right perks to be done.
-
I view him as high tier but where killers should be about so some should be a little weaker while others should be stronger. He is good don't get me wrong but he isn't unstoppable. For me it's not an issue with him being too powerful but other killers too weak (and some too strong)
-
The picture after the original one is Dio from JoJo's bizarre adventures. Pretty awesome anime overall. The character is basically evil incarnate
The picture I posted is Kefka from Final Fantasy. I actually never played that particular final fantasy but he is a very popular villain after sephiroth
-
Kefka without makeup
-
He just wouldn't look that weird if we had any other human looking killers. If he is released like this I hope they offer unmasked versions of some killers (not Michael)
-
Hatch should not automatically open np matter what for last survivor. I liked the old requirement of having at least a few gens done. If that happened it would be way better. I've had a number og games where I'd shut down a team on 5 gens and last survivor got Hatch by abandoning the team
-
Also, you lose out on altruism because of an afk killer. I suppose survivors could try to max out other stuff but it does feel tedious

A more thorough translation than Google translate (not mine)
Although I think it's an original character and most people think that, what are some things that are celebrating their 15 anniversary this year that could be what it's referencing?

Well I posted a message and didn't mean to post it here and don't know to to delete but can edit...so here is my pointless message. Sorry lol

No, because that kind of stuff is monitored by BHVR. They assemble stats for the community to look at now and then, but there's no public database to my knowledge.
Anyway with that said, I don't think win % based on each player's average is the best idea. I don't know much about statistics, but it seems to me it'd result in stats that only really represent what's going on in brown ranks.
That could be true. It would honestly weigh the most on what group has the most players in it, which may be brown ranks. Maybe they could exclude brown ranks and do that system?
-
God please give me a killer who challenges you to Dance Dance Revolution
-
This is to help combat cases where someone like Ohmwrecker who plays more than most people id imagine and because he wins in his role that weighs more heavily in the balance of the game despite players like him being some of the best players where the standard player just can't perform at that level
-
So any news on the chapter or ptb?

the only thing youve really missed out on are charms- everything else will be returning to the store after a minimum period of 6 months (though it seems closer to a year i digress). theres obviously the map reworks, as youve probably seen, and ds got changed back in march 2019 to be a 5 second stun but only active for 40/50/60 seconds after a hook. thankfully this is being changed again next chapter. nurse also got changed so now it takes 4 seconds for her blinks to return and she's incredibly buggy now too! those are the first things i can think of that havent been mentioned yet.
but yeah if theres something new just like @ me in a post or smth or on my wall and ill try to get back to you on it.
Okau cool thanks for the info. I thought ds seemed different but I didn't use it before (to me it felt a little too toxic to the killer). I thought I heard nurse had a change but didn't know what it was. Also spirit is a lot better now which is also interesting. I'll let you know if I have any other questions.

sounds also really good, it's lot more fun to run than meta perks all the time you see on most people, and it catches lot of killers by surprise
Yeah I am into trying to find some fun non meta builds that are still useful. I a little bit want to do a total distraction build like red herring and pebble
-
For me it depends on a few things and it can be either a single one of these points or a combination
1. Did that survivor carry the team on gens?
2. Were they not toxic during the game? (if they were dead no matter what)
3. Am I feeling particularly generous that game?
4. Did they get screwed or abandoned by teammates wrongly?
I havent done it a ton but kinda want to more nowadays
