Claudettes latest afro, her short shorts and the black sparkly top that can look like a trash bag.
-
Barely even trying. I mainly play Claudette and since there is nothing in the rift for her, I’m not interested in completing it.
-
I don't care, if I find a dull, I'm cleansing it and readying up my Inner Strength. It's just too good to not have on standby when you need a fast heal and can't run across the map and have no one near by to heal you.

I love Harry Potter!
I used to read the books once a year and now I'm addicted to streaming movies, shows, anime and dbd. I'm going to wean myself off and go back to going to the library and reading a book once a week. I feel like my brain has rotted far too much and I miss using my imagination.
I do hope they make a Harry Potter show that has 7 seasons, and 12 hour long episodes that allows them to follow the books more closely, but the author is being targeted by some of the cancel culture for stuff she said, so I doubt it will happen.
At least we have The Witcher, Amazons Lord of the Rings and Wheel of Time, Stranger Things, and Magic the Gathering (I hope it doesn't suck), to look forward to.
-
I love bananas, especially when they're dipped in chocolate and frozen. The only thing I don't like about them is how fast they spoil.
They're also good sliced and placed on top of french toast or waffles with real maple syrup (the fake syrup is gross).
-
Ew, sports.
I need to go rinse my eyes with some anime and a full marathon of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
-
I'm too lazy to make a list but currently I think the new Spirit music is the best while Tricksters is the worst- it's just so jarring to hear, like nails on a chalkboard.
-
None. I know I'm bad at gaming and made sure to keep my profile private from the start.
-
You're not entitled to escape until you open the gate and leave.
You're not entitled to rescue your teammate and have a 4 man escape.
You have many options in the game that will help you find 5 totems. You also have three other teammates to find the totems before the last gens done. You can't compare that to One Killer having to find multiple boon totems that can be re-lit over and over.
Survivors have multiple second chance crutch perks such as Decisive Strike and Dead Hard, Killers are entitled to have something as strong. If you disagree, then you should be advocating for nerfs to the survivor meta.
It seems like you and your team outplayed the killer for most of the match, if that was the case, then you have no right to complain about NOED when you and your teammates should have looked for the totems.
-
Winning for me is if I escape through gates or hatch or if I die saving a really good teammate. I don't care about anything else.
-
I hate his music, it’s so jarring and annoying. Otherwise, he’s like any other killer. Just hide in a bush until he leaves and go back to the gen.
-
I'm already struggling to find reason to keep playing with how stale/monotonous the game has become, they do anything to Claudette and I would quit without a second thought. None of the other characters appeal to me as much as she does.
-
Spine Chill doesn't tell you which direction the killer is coming from and the killer can play around it once they suspect the survivor has it. It is strong but it isn't over powered like other perks and you should be happy that it is taking up a slot instead of DH, DS, UB, SB or BT.

Do you ever play soloQ? Or are you just another killer main who has to rely on this perk to be able to get some sacrifices?
I only play solo queue and I have no problems with NOED. It's not hard to learn totem spawns after playing on the same maps all the time. Even if I can't find them all, I can always look for the lit totem after it procs and I usually find it by sound. In the situation that I can't find it, I just open the gate and leave because I know I'm not entitled to rescue anyone on hook and have a 4 man escape. I also have the option to use Small Game which notifies me that a totem is in front of me and also provides a totem counter.

@Huge_Bush more bush to hide in.
Its to make up for the lack of bushes on the new map. So now I'll be infesting the structures of all the other maps.
-
Booping the snoot is an old meme that lots of newer players don't know about. Don't take it personally, chances are they would have camped anyways.
-
Toxic Players.
-
There is no set amount of hours. I have over 3k hours and Im still terrible at looping. I know how to shift + W, run the second I see a killer coming at me from the distance or if Spine Chill lights up, but actually looping and proper mind games are just out of my reach unless I’m lucky.
Im worse when playing killer.
-
Maps.
-
There will always be a survivor interested in the foliage. Always.
-
It depends on my work schedule, but I stop playing around 7PM when all the sweaty people come out.
-
I’m bad, so all of them.
-
Allow her to heal survivors and repair generators.
-
Yes and it's harder to see Plagues infection on gens.
-
I’m pretty sure all the experience killers have learned by now to not play Dbd after 7/8PM. That’s when all the super sweaty try hard sets come out and just make the game more of a chore to play.
The game is just doing what it can and is matching you up with newer, less experienced killers because the good killers know better.
-
One can argue that Mr Cowboy was designed around stealth, but yea, it would be nice to have another actual Mr Sneaky killer. It's probably just really difficult to come up with a power for stealth that won't just be another rehash of "stare at the survivor" and activate your power.
-
Thanks for the information, this is the first I have heard of it. Not worth it to me to get a VPN just for video games. Maybe it's time for a break until the devs fix their code.
-
Yes.
I hated it the second I saw it. Not enough Bush.
-
Her face is fine but I don't like her run animation or hands. I know, she's a killer/monster thingy in a video game, but her hands just bother me.
-
I'd rather have nothing to do with the realm of Dbd unless I get to have power that surpasses the entity.

Personally I think it's okay to delete the game, provided you can return to it later if you choose to. Provided you don't do something stupid like snap your physical disc, I don't see a problem. Step away for your own mental health.
It's what my bf did so, if you don't think it's for you anymore, then I hope you find something else to play :)
Welcome Back!

It's not a Spirit thing, its an any killer that prevents easy time for survivors. For some reason, people in this game can't handle losing or making mistakes and want the devs to make it easier and easier.

I absolutely adore Hellraiser and I feel the same way, sadly. The chase music, the feel and even the general design is incredible, but that's where it ends. The way he plays, the unsatisfying ability, the NFT drama...
Yea, I don't own him, but playing against him, his power seems to be very unsatisfying, not just for him, but for me. Most of the time he just ends up as an M1 killer. I do enjoy the forced interaction of having to do the box to stop the chain hunt and more killers in the future get similar mechanics, but the devs really need to focus on making the killers M2 power more engaging/interesting for both player roles.
I do miss his voice. It was a nice new quirk to have the killer speaking.
-
Only on Steam maintenance day, usually. Otherwise, maybe once or twice a week if you include someone disconnecting during loading or when new chapter releases come out with their usual bugs.

If Survivor dies from slug, Killer won't get any extra points. So it's not a strategy Killers should use. The game should notify that slugging to a death is not a proper way to play. Same with facecamping.
There should be indicator that shows Killer he is losing points for doing this (Like you can see end game recap).
MY SOLUTION would be that Entity helps survivors somehow. After all, Entity wants a fair game and if Killer gets win too fast, end game would say Entity Displeased.
Make Entity help multiple downed survivors to keep the game going. Or let downed survivors close proximity heal each others! Or make Bill's perk a normal mechanic where all survivors can pick up once in a game (and rework the perk to something else).
First, you don't get to decided what a "proper way to play the game" is for other players. The developers do and as long as the players stick to their rules, any way they choose to play is "proper. Secondly, not everyone who plays this game plays for blood points. Some just enjoy challenging themselves against four opponents and doing their best to get a 4k. Some like the thrill of the chase, looping the killer and getting in their face while trying to survive or buy time for their team. Others, like me, love team work while also trying to stealth around, do objectives and go unseen until the gates are powered. Points are not everything in this game, especially with how easy they are to earn.
The game provides plenty of options to discourage slugging. You have No-Mither if you really want to experience the games Hard Mode. You have Unbreakable, Soul Guard and the option to crawl as far away as you can from where you were downed in hopes your teammate picks you up without getting caught. Your solution is terrible because survivors need to be punished for their mistakes as failures (getting downed is a failure on your part), just as much as killers need to be punished for their errors.
It just sounds to me as if you just want an easier game, not fair.
-
It’s a matter of personal taste. I have tunnel vision and don’t like to stress and micromanage when playing games. I also like working with others to accomplish a goal, so Survivor is more enjoyable for me.
I can’t handle killer much at all. I’ll only play it for bloodpoints and challenges or when I’m in a Trappi Boi mood just because catching survivors in a trap and snowballing from there is so satisfying. I don’t enjoy the stress of worrying about gens popping or playing ring around the rosie every few feet and Trapper is perfect for avoiding it.
I do enjoy the occasional farm as killer. I know many think it’s boring, but sometimes, it’s just nice to be nice to your opponents and help them with points or challenges. Just a good change of pace to show we’re all just trying to have a good time.
-
You can only speak for yourself, not for most players. My experience, while not perfect, is much better than the rainbow ranks that I kept getting paired up with in the old broken system.
Ive been getting teammates of similar skill, if not better, and the killers I face are just oppressive enough to provide a challenge without making the match feel hopeless like I faced many times with the old broken matchmaking.
Sure, it’s not perfect and I’d like for them to improve upon it by adding some more parameters, namely a time played one, in order to prevent someone with 30 hours from being matched with or against someone with 300 hours, but what we have is better than what we had.

Huge_bush: only gives me the impression that you are a Survivor main. But given the situation is above-game I can only hope the best for you, and that the best has happened for you!
Endure. Survive, and I hope to see you in the fog. For all the boons, and detriments that brings. :)
I am a survivor main, though I once focused on killer for a short stint, it wasn't for me. I don't play games for the stress that the killer role contains, though I appreciate the struggles killer players go through, and understand why they may do things I don't like.
Thanks for the well wishes <3

So glad to hear you're better now! Covid is no joke, i hope everyone here and their loved ones take care during these hard times ❤️
Thank you! I never took it as a joke since I live with someone who has a weakened immune system, but after suffering it's effects, I am taking it even more seriously. Here is to hoping we can get through this whole ordeal sooner than later!

Not long after the Stranger Things chapter release. I had stopped playing games for a while (years) and some how, I found a video in my YouTube feed of someone playing survivor. It looked interesting and fun, but I didn't take the plunge until one of my ex-coworkers at an old job mentioned it. We both got the game and I have been hooked since. The other guy quit a long time ago, but I'm still addicted, though it is waning.
-
Sorry but the killer is entitled to a 4k just as the last standing survivor is to a chance at escaping.
If you can come up with a fair solution, feel free to share, but I don’t see this getting changed.

But with the DC penalty, they're far less common. Once every 5 or 6 games or so, instead of every other or even every single game.
Yes, you are correct. I wasn’t complaining about the penalty, just sharing in my satisfaction for it. I actually wish it was harsher and start pairing rampant DCers with other DCers.

No DC penalty makes the game worse, as is demonstrated every time they disable the DC penalty. Everyone just DC's when they don't get their way, and the game is unbearable.
Even with the DC penalties, entitled players just suicide on first hook because they can't handle loss. For me, quitters like that are the worst thing about this game.
-
I only used them to get the holiday rift cosmetics and now they're going to collect dust.
-
Today is the first time I got to experience them since their release and mainly as a survivor. I like the healing one but I don’t think all the complaints about it from killers were warranted. The set up and travel time and how easy it is to put out seemed pretty balanced.
I don’t have experience with the aura/hidden scratch marks one yet so I’ll save my opinion for if I decide to play killer more (doubt it).
I will say I don’t like the blue screen overlay. I hate anything similar to it like Freddy’s dreamworld because I hate my vision getting obstructed. It’s even worse when you’re in the dreamworld and are in the zone with a boon totem. It just makes it so obnoxious. I’d rather they have just filled the area with blue sparkles and a ring on the ground rather than have overlays.

This is a pretty earnest reply. It's also pretty hypocritical in saying OP's being one-dimensional.
You're ultimately saying a nuanced take can't be summarized with "the devs ######### up" - which is empirically wrong, because the devs do ######### up. Sure, they're human. They're thus both fallible and susceptible to outside pressures - which is one of your points, but them having superiors and families to feed doesn't mean much when there's basically an open call for game devs in the industry to jump ship.
BHVR gluts itself on corporate and consumerist greed, and by and large gets a pass because of people saying "won't somebody think of the feefees of the people involved?"
It is one dimensional because people only think about the game and how they think it should be with zero regards on what the devs have to go through and put up with. They don't consider the fact that they're employees and don't run the show. I don't see how I was being hypocritical in the slightest.
Yes, the devs do mess up, they're human and fallible to the pressures that you mention, but the loss of their jobs and having to answer to superiors needs to be considered when people are so quick to disparage the devs, and not just in this game, but with other companies. To go back to my original point, players need to stop being hostile to them and just rationally discuss the issues they have. They don't deserve the disrespect, especially when I've never seen them disrespect us.
You complain about Behaviour and their greed, but they are literally no different than any other corporation on the planet. You can hate the company all you want, just don't hate people trying to survive and make a living.
-
- Yes
- Two escapes is a tie for me
- One or less is a loss unless I died saving a really good teammate who managed to get out. By really good, I mean they did gens, looped the killer and pulled of some sick rescues.
In the end though, I no longer care about escaping so much so as just having a fun chill time. Heck, I used to try and offer up myself to killers when I see they had it rough, but stopped because I realized it made them feel worse even though I was just trying to give them points.
-
This is off topic but you know, your message would be better received if you didn't try to put down the devs and just tried to discuss the issues that you want to discuss. I'm not happy with all of their decisions, but in the end, they're just human and they have people they answer to. They still need to take the orders they get and provide results according of whats expected of them and they can't always do what they want since they can get fired and lose their livelihoods which will cause lots of trouble for supporting themselves and their families.
Not everything is as one dimensional as you think.
-
Main building is strong, and probably should be reworked, or at least have some of the walls removed, but I just hope they don't touch the rest of the map and they keep the death room intact.
I was under the impression when they disabled it a while back, they opened up that death room and survivors couldn't get trapped and today I went through the window thinking I'm safe and realized I was stuck. It was terrifying because Billy was right behind me and I haven't felt that nervous in such a long time playing this game. It was a nice exhilarating change of experience that brought me back to the days of first playing Dbd.
