Spoken like a true Blendette. "Nothing wrong with it." "...shouldn't get mad when team leaves them to die."
Stay out of my games, please. FYI, killers don't like it because it makes for really boring gameplay. Games are supposed to be fun.
There is nothing wrong with it. And I’d be happy to stay out of your games, wouldn’t want judgmental people on my team anyways.

Yes. It's my preferred playstyle as well. (I was a claudette main when I first started playing) what is your stealth build if you don't mind me asking.
Urban Evasion, Spine Chill, Inner Strength and it used to be Plunderers so I could get keys and escape but I switched it out with BT because of the current tunneling meta and I feel bad for the unhooked people.
What’s yours? Things have gotten a little stale for me and need to switch it up.
-
Nothing wrong with playing stealthily. It’s my preferred style as well. Killers don’t like it because it makes their job harder.
Playing stealthy becomes a problem only when the player just hides and does nothing or refuses to take aggro for someone on death hook. They’re not obligated to, but one shouldn’t get mad when the team leaves them to die.

I agree with the point you're making, but not for this situation. I'm going to agree with the replies above you because the question of discussion is implying survivors get a chance when they are farmed, or face camped. Tunneling in my experience happens immediately off hook when the rescuer doesn't have BT. That's not even a chase. The killer isn't outplaying anyone here, it's not about who has control, the rescuer is just screwing the tunneled person over and getting hit immediately off hook isn't fun gameplay for the killer or survivor.
Getting downed and hooked in a dead zone or not having BT is a player problem not a tunneling problem. And yes, the killer is outplaying the survivors by taking advantage of their misplays and poor choices. It may be easy to do a lot of the times, but it is still out playing them.
There are lots of things that isn't fun for both sides. If the devs addressed everything that everyone complained about, the game wouldn't be Dbd anymore, and it would probably get stale and die.
Fact of the matter is, survivors hate tunneling because the chase isn't on their terms, it is as simple as that.

Or a game where they have any control at all. Since what you're proposing is a game where death is certain and if you can guarantee a down within a minute every time, there will never be 5 gens complete unless the killer screws around.
Its only a guaranteed down within a minute if you and your team play poorly, or if it's against a top tier Nurse. Otherwise, its not a guarantee down and survivors have plenty of tools to help them get a rescue and get into a good chase. It just becomes more difficult, which most players here, killers and survivors, seem to be averse to.
-
Because survivors want to have multiple resets for their health states and second chance perks. They want the chase on their terms and not yours.
They don't want a game where the killer is stronger than one survivor and survivors have to work together to out play the killer, they want a game where they are always in control.

Just had two matches with no issues.

One time I used angel food cake instead of bread for French toast and it was amazing.
That actually sounds fantastic! Throw in some sliced strawberries and powdered sugar and it would be perfect!

I’ll have a great day if someone would make me some French toast with real maple syrup and a dollop of whipped cream.

So you will tell me that this isnt common knowledge for everyone with at least basic gamesense? Unless youre not using your killer power at all or using a setup killer, youre never gonna loose 3 nor even 2 gens before your first hook. If that happens youre just too weak as a killer player. And for setup killers its just basic knowledge to not cry about the first gens.
You obviously never play killer or play killer in higher ranks. It is very common to get two gens done by the time the killer has gotten their first down. It has nothing to do with the killer being bad and all to do with large maps and strong tiles.
Heck, I only play solo and when I see the killer in the distance, coming straight towards me, all I need to do is start running in a straight line and pre-drop a pallet or two and by the time I get downed, 2 gens are done. By the time I get rescued and healed, another gen gets completed. Only time when this isn’t the case is when it’s a high mobility killer such as Blight and Hillbilly, or a killer that ends chases very fast such as Nurse.

I don't agree it's not part of the game, all the people who block I report them. if it was part of the game we could not report them
Body Blocking the hook is a legitimate tactic. The body blocking that is reportable is when a killer blocks a survivor in a corner or a room with one entry and wont move, preventing the survivor from doing anything for an extended period of time. Survivors can be reported for this as well, though they can only do it to each other and not to the killer.
-
@Tiufal said:
False logic. Killers camp, tunnel and slug cause thats the cheapest way to play and makes survivor gameplay frustrating as hell. You dont do it cause survivors have it easy that would be a blatant lie.
Right, you know this as fact because you're telepathic and can easily read the killers mind and learn the intention behind their actions. It has nothing to do with how fast competent survivors can split up on gens and complete 2, sometimes 3 gens before the killer gets their first hook.
-
I've never seen anyone say it's okay for killers to DC. I have seen survivors gloat and laugh at them for doing so.
-
You insulting the killers by calling them cry babies isn't helping and makes you look as annoying as you think they are. How about you provide a constructive discussion without the name calling?

top one, 100% true. but I cant and won't.
bottom one. Makes ######### all sense how this is even the truth. This shouldn't ever be the case, you should be scared of the killer, not wanting to go directly to them and loop them/ bully them
A lot of killers agree with you, which is why they’ve stopped playing or switched to survivor. Heck, back in the day, before I started playing, I was told it was so bad for killers, survivor queue wait times were over 20-30 minutes because no one wanted to play killer since survivors had too many broken advantages. Devs were forced to buff killers and nerf survivors in order to get more players to play killer, though it still hasn’t changed the power dynamic of the roles in high level gameplay.
-
One of the best movie villains of all time.
-
If a video game is causing you to lose your sanity, I suggest you stop playing and focus on your health and even seek counseling.
As for the game, survivors have always been and will always be the power role as long as they’re competent and not potatoes. Don’t expect the devs to change it any time soon.
-
Nice try killer main! Your reverse psychology isn’t going to work on me and prevent me from equipping DS and stabbing you in the neck when you try to tunnel me! No Sirree!
-
They just buffed DH and it is one of the most precious perks to survivors, there is no way the devs will nerf it. None.
As for NoEd, it doesn't need a nerf. It can be removed before it activates just by survivors doing their secondary objective. It can be removed after it activates and it can be avoided by just going through the gates. If survivors get downed by NoEd it is either their fault or their lazy teammates fault for not doing totems. Remember, survivor is a team player role and for better or worse, you will be affected by the actions or inaction who you're paired with. If they don't do bones, it's not the perks fault.
-
Nah, Victor should get this skin and the chainsaw too! Instead of latching on to survivors, he just hacks of a limb.

"make the killer to run as fast as survivors and remove their powers."
Nah, you would need 16 perks for that...
Just you are saying there are perks for everything, but I can use 4... I have no idea how survivors are going to play, they do.
Your powers and speeds make up the difference in perks. You also have powerful iridescent add-ons that can be game changing.
You're not supposed to know how they're going to play, just like they're not supposed to know what you're going to do. You don't need 8-16 perks. While some perks are busted (looking at dead hard and boons), the biggest issue will always be maps and how large they are and how most of them always seem set up to always benefit the survivor.
That's what frustrated me when I used to play killer and it's why I can only play Trapper when I have the nerve to even try killer, he can at least shut down loops. Its so tiring getting looped around the same thing over and over only to have the pallet dropped and have them reset by going to another loop.
Some lower tier killers definitely need some love and lots of killers need full reworks on their add-ons to make them less trash and more useful and fun, but really, if the devs made the maps more fair and the loops more 50/50, even the weaker killers would have a much better chance.

That just means you are bad. I have played a lot of killer and almost never had a chase last 45 seconds. If you are good there is never a reason to camp.
No, it just means you've never faced good survivors who know what they're doing. There are plenty of good reasons to camp, end game being one of them, obviously overly altruistic players who flock to the hook, the hooked person is really good at looping and it's best to make sure they're out of the match, or the killer just doesn't feel like running around the same obstacle three times only to be led to the next one.

Alright, so let killer have 8 perks and we are fine...
I had so many survivors waiting near exit gate just to leave when I get there, so annyoing. Like why? Thing is that they are not even toxic in endgame chat, it's just reflex or IDK.
Sure, just make sure to make the killer to run as fast as survivors and remove their powers.
Toxic people are going to be toxic no matter what. I don't know why, perhaps their parents didn't show them enough love. I used to wait for the killer to come to the door so I can leave them my item, if I had one, as a way to say gg, but a killer pointed out that it's still annoying and better that I just leave. So now, I just wait to make sure no one gets downed and needs rescuing. If I see the whole team and they stop to t-bag, I leave and hope the killer has NoEd and he somehow manages to get one before they get too close to the exit.

So you're saying I deserve to be treated like garbage for doing good?
I deserve the constant abuse I'm getting? I can't even get a damn hook in 99% of the games I play now cause I'm getting flash banged, flash lighted, or they all flock to block the hook I'm trying to get to. And swinging at them slows me down and oops there goes the survivor I just got down. Guess I have to try again.
Survivors are the most Toxic players of any game I've ever played, and I've been around since the glory days of Xbox Live when it first launched. That was one thing, but this is straight up refusing to let me do anything or have any sort of fun.
I play Plague? Doesn't matter, I get em all sick, they cleanse and repeat.
I play Ghostface? They spot me around the corner when I can't even see them.
Spirit? Oh guess what can't hear them cause they immerse themselves beyond belief.
Doctor? Endless looping, and once again hook blocking and flash lights to stop me.
In my eyes, survivors are killing the game by always having to have top tier perks, items, everything.
For every one good perk a killer gets, survivors get ten.
The game doesn't have built in chat or comms, which basically means it wasn't intended to have it. Y'all by definition cheat by using Discord and other communication.
I don't have three people telling me where you are, how's it fair that you get to constantly communicate and tell each other where I'm at and what I'm doing?
Yes I'm bitching and moaning, but God I'm so sick of entitled survivors thinking I have to play nice when in return I get harassed and abused game after game for simply wanting to feel like a bad guy. Y'all think you are so good, and king of the world as you bully killers that at this point I have to ask myself,
"Why do I play this game? It's the same thing over and over? I don't feel good playing it. I'm always being abused. I'm always being called trash at the game."
To that, I don't know. It's a damn addiction I guess, wanting to feel some semblance of power? Who knows.
But as I said, Survivors and their entitled nature are going to kill the game. Killers are going to stop playing because why put up with the abuse that's never going to change?
Playing the game and using the perks provided by the game is not being toxic. Sure, body blocking, getting blinded in multiple ways, having the hook you're going to get sabo'd and having the unhooked person body block with BT active on them when you're obviously going for someone else is annoying/frustrating, but none of that is toxic. They all have counters. Starstruck will completely remove body blocking from your games. Make Your Choice will help to a lesser extent as well. Lightborn is fantastic when you see multiple flashlights in a lobby, it's even better if you turn your face to the side when they try to blind you so they don't suspect you have it and keep them wasting time.
While I do think killers need some love, mainly in tile design and maps (they need to shrink some of the huge ones), your complaints are not that big of a deal. Really, just running Lightborn or Franklins seems like it would fix half of your problems.
The only thing toxic survivors can do is t-bag, point after they pallet stun you, wait at the gate in order to just waste your time and then t-bag you when you get there, or hide and not do gens (holding the game hostage) and send you nasty comments in the chat.
-
Doesn’t need to change. What needs to change is for the doors locks to regress so survivors can’t 99 them anymore.
-
They can bribe me to vote for them if they come out with a Bush cosmetic for Claudette. Otherwise, no.

Nah, Spirits moans are at 9 while The Artists sounds are a 2.
Also, Spirit has one of the best, if not best, stun sounds. So she gets bonus points and 3 internet cookies.

Claudette.
She was my first "main" and I just got attached. I love her looks, though I wish she had more unique outfits and not lazy recolors, and I lover her voice. Her screams are just the best and used to make me feel sorry for her when I was new. Her powers of evasion are also a nice bonus.

I honestly think Spine Chill is in the running for worst designed perk in the game because of the way status notifications work.
A progress-boosting perk that gets used as an information perk that pressures players into strafing everywhere like it's a DOOM speedrun is not a good bloody design.
Most of the game is badly designed.
-
I suggest you use Spine Chill. Granted, it doesn't tell you what direction they're coming from, but it does alert you they're coming and gives you time to better position yourself. You just have to be alert the second it shines.

How did the killer feel the same way? He clearly did not play the ######### game. Their perks are irrelevant because they never got to use them.
He did play the game, as evidenced with the one kill. It may not have been how his opponents wanted him to play, but that isn't his problem, especially since survivors never consider the killers enjoyment when they play.
Sure, it's boring, but all of this could have been avoided by cleansing totems. They took the risk and chose not to cleanse and paid the price.
