I used to listen to orchestral music when I went to bed but I found that it was affecting my sleep more than I though it would. Now I can fall asleep fine when I get tired. I just make sure I don't game for about two hours before bed. If I have any trouble falling asleep or wake up and can't fall back asleep, melatonin does the trick.

Nope. I don't care for killer anymore so there is no need to try out this new one who looks like she will struggle with competent survivors and stomp solo potatoes. The new survivor doesn't look interesting since no one the devs introduce can beat my queen Claudette. Well, almost no one. A well modeled, high polygon, high resolution textured Shirtless Henry Cavil's Geralt (from the Witcher) would cause me to part with my money.

Blight. He's just so strong and fast, it's hard to break line of sight with him without the aid of perks. And most who play him are super sweaty, not that there is anything wrong with playing to win, it just gets old fast when you play solo.
Myers are getting annoying these days, it seems like everyone I have faced in the last week comes equipped with Tombstone and my teammates just keep feeding him stalk.

In all seriousness, I can't loop well, but I am not useless. I do gens, totems, rescue, take hits and take aggro as long as my teammates are semi-competent. I also know how to Shift+W and lead the killer away from teammates and waste enough time for a gen to get done.
I become useless if it's Trapper though. My feet are a magnet for his traps.

It's cute, isn't? I do the same for Trapper and call him my Trappi Boi.
There is no reason for insults in this game, even when I get aggravated. So I just give out pet names like Mr Baldy, Tentacle Daddy or Mr Cowboy man. Takes away the aggravation and makes the game more enjoyable.

That's not the point. By not artificially adding at least 30 second per chase that's how survival rates will drop.
Or they would switch to Sprint Burst or Lithe which would add 30 seconds or more to the chase.

Yea, no. Sure, they’re both second chance perks but their use doesn’t reflect the skill of their user at all.

They will never get rid of SWF. If you can’t handle it and don’t like playing survivor, that’s okay and you should move on from the game.
While it’s not balanced at the higher ranks, it’s in a pretty good spot for middle and lower ranks. The biggest issue the game has is still matchmaking, which basically tosses bad killer players to the wolves. The other issue is just playing killer feels tedious when it should feel fun. When they figure out how to make the gameplay a little less stressful for killers and make maps more 50/50 for both sides, I don’t think they’d be hemorrhaging killer players as they are now.
They’re lucky they were able to get Michael in the game and the subsequent licensed killers. Without the attraction of those well known killers, the game would have died. Once they run out of big name killers to attract players, they’re screwed.

Since I only play Claudette, I don't have any problem with blood points. Heck, Plunderers gives me all the items I need when I am low.

Fling Traps: You gain the ability to throw traps at survivors heads as if they were heat seeking missiles.
Drawback: You can only carry one at a time and must reload at lockers.

The maps are the bane of my existence. Wish me a swarm of Swamp and Red Forest.
May you get the maps that your heart desires. I actually really like the Swamp maps. I know others don't but it feels like home to me. Red Forest is good too and I also like Ormond, which is easy on my eyes (I know it was updated, but it wasn't changed or ruined as much as the other maps).

I am what many would consider "completely broke" right now so I'll need to get some money before I can start building one. I've heard a lot of different things about the price. What's the usual cost to build a decent PC?
Don't worry about it, I'm in a similar situation. Currently job hunting.
I spent about $850 for my PC but that's not including keyboard, mouse or monitor. It's mid-range and a little over two years old. It's got an 8-core AMD CPU at 3.59GHz, 16GB of RAM with an SSD for the hard drive.
I'd say save up about $1K to $1500 at most if you're not a heavy gamer and want your PC to last.

Good thing I bought the game on sale so not that much money gets wasted.
Make sure to do research before you get a new PC. Consider building one from scratch. If I could do it (and I'm slow) anyone can. Feel free to start up a thread in the Off-Topic section and tag me if you want some advice. Building one is cheaper than buying a pre-built and usually results in better performance.

Been stuck at home for the. Last two days due to snow and played a lot of Dbd. I’ve had lots of pigs but not one of them Afk’d. A lot of them were big meanies and wouldn’t let me touch their glorious snoot.

I was fortunate enough to retain my taste and smell when I had it. I had extreme fatigue, high fever that had me laying on the bare floor to try and cool off, nausea, dry mouth and lips (it was so bad that every time I closed my mouth it would feel like it was burning), loss of appetite that resulted in dehydration and coughing. I went to the urgent care and they put me on an IV for the dehydration and then tested me for COVID which came back positive. I was scheduled to go take a viral-shot thingy at a different location but I ended up coughing up a little blood and opted to go to the ER.
I wish I lost weight. After a two week hospital stay I had severe muscle atrophy and was put on a steroid that made me hungry all the time.
