Congratz. You lost a game which is an complete edge case. You will not encounter such a game for quite some time. So why not just suck it up, accept that you lost and move on?
I know pigs will fly before you do but I hope to see you make a similar post when someone rushes to the forums and complains about facing a strong “edge case” Nurse they just lost to.
-
Doctor is my second favorite to play, but he struggles against competent survivors (also not denying I’m bad). If there’s a David in the match I’ll throw the game just to make him repeatedly scream. I just love hearing him scream, moan and “ooh”.
While he is fun, he’s really just another M1 killer with Sonar. Competent survivors (not necessarily High MMR sweats) know to just not take risks, pre drop pallets and run to the next loop. He needs some love, I just don’t know what they could add that wouldn’t break him.
I do wish he got an add-on that would cause his M2 to get a new lightning strike visual.
-
I haven't even seen a Bubbi Boi in ages. It's always the same killers in my area. I'm so tired of Dredge, Legion, Plague and Whiskers.

Sorry, I can't :(
Nurse's fatigue is too visually disorienting to me. Playing her makes me feel unwell :/
Oh, I’m not the only one?! I sometimes have to stop playing the game and go lay down for a bit. But just for the OP I will pick Nurse and fail miserably with her as much as I can so I can yank her kill rate in hopes she gets buffs and Op can face her more.
-
I agree. I hope they introduce more new mechanics that freshen up the game.
-
I would love her. Tho, unfortunately, I tend to role play and would probably end up getting my teammates killed.
-
It's funny if you just replaced all the censored stuff with a word that starts with an f and rhymes with cluck.
-
No, no thank you. Killers have more than enough Aura Reading Perks. I hope the devs stop with these types of perks for a good long while. We don't need to completely remove stealth play from the game. Not all of us are top tier loopers.
-
I hate it when I crouch walk to unhook someone that’s been trapped by Hag and they just run away and set off the traps.

Clubbing is hitting you and letting you bleed out.
Hook whacking is just poor sportsmanship. ;)
That’s known as “Slugging” in this community.

Happy anniversary.
Claudette is still superior.
(Sorry, I can’t help myself).

Legion - not a fan of mending simulator.
Twins - the getting 0 points for being chased by Victor because the game thinks your doing nothing even though you're distracting the killer is annoying. Then if you're downed by Victor you get slugged for 0 points... It just feels like waste of time.
Artist - her screechy sounds annoy me and they're the worst when she uses her power.
Ah, a fellow person of culture. Worst thing to happen to this game is Poopy Head Bird Lady. I'd rather get slugged by Nurse at 5 gens and bleed out than listen to CAW CAW CAW SKEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRREEEEEECHH.
@the op, I'm bad so everything annoys me, but none more that Poopy Bird Lady.
Wraith is a close second because so many ring his bell just to annoy.

Interesting. Kinda like the Catapult from Identity V. It'd give some great potential for Balanced Landing plays, and might actually let you get to the second floor of some main buildings depending on how high it launched you. Imagine springing from the ground floor to the exterior Ironworks stairs.
I was thinking more about Fortnite's and how it spawns you a glider so you land safely, but you can still get shot while gliding. It could fit in this game, it just has to be more restricted since it can be a pain for killers if it isn't.
-
Play in the earlier time of day and not at night. I couldn't do it last night because killers were merciless (not that I blame them) and I'm usually the weak link in the group. I played this morning and got both escapes. Also, if you're on steam, change your name to "Need2Escape4Challenge". I found, in the past, that there are a lot of killers willing to help with challenges as long as it's not interfering with the ones they're doing.
-
It's definitely FNAF
-
Boon teleport:
Link two totems by blessing them. Allows survivors to teleport from one totem to another. 120 second cool-down. Killer can follow a survivor through after a 5 second delay but in doing so, destroys both totems.
-
Spring Board
Place on the floor. Stepping onto the board launches you into the air. The entity aids your decent, allowing you to glide down uninsured. Killers with projectile powers can snipe you while you glide.
It disappears after 4 survivors use it. Each survivor can only be launched once. Killer can also use it, but it gets destroyed if they do.
-
I guess it depends on your area. I’m doing my killer challenges today and all the lobbies I got were under 60 seconds.

Because she’s the only killer that can go toe to toe with well coordinated SWF who know what they’re doing and bring as much stuff into the match to stack everything in their favor.
If they nerf Nurse they will have to do something about SWF. They won’t do anything about SWF because it would seem like they’re punishing people for playing with their friends and fact of the matter is that SWFs are their main money maker so they wouldn’t want to upset those players. If they touch Nurse without touching SWF then it’ll upset killer mains and cause a backlash they definitely don’t want to deal with.
They’re basically stuck until they decided to make it where SWF can’t abuse maps with an abundance of strong loops that most killers can’t handle.
-
I was thinking about this yesterday. I really hope the tap to select makes its way to the bloodweb.

Lol it shouldn't just be down to the killer to decide when he commits to a chase in a three gen. If survivors aren't actively committing to gens & trying to make you follow them to the opposite side of the map for the escape then that's a survivor issue.
Survivors should realise at this point they messed up and allowed the three gen to happen. It's basically a stalemate until one side decides enough is enough. In my opinion that should be the survivor team (but very rarely is) because they made the wrong play & created the situation in the first place by not paying attention to gen placement.
I’m not disagreeing with you. I was just stating what the devs/mods have decided. I’m of the opinion that there should just be a 20 minute time limit and the EGC should start. Would fix the issue with games going on too long and hackers holding people hostage.

While killers complain that after they got more and more anti-loop-killers, people just run away without looping by holding w, and that dead hard even after a nerf still does something. Most killers think swf is op unless they drop in a chase after 15 seconds.
Well coordinated SWF with outside communications is OP since the game isn’t balanced around it.
Anti-loop killers are a result of unfair maps with too many strong loops and tiles that need fixing and reworking.
Dead Hard is still a second chance perk that basically rewards a survivor after they got hit, albeit a bit more difficult to do now.

A garden hose with holes doesn't do what it's suppose to do...
The hag trap flicks do
It also allows hag players to get creative by placing traps near doorways to cause people to miss the door instead of always going trap, teleport, hit. It adds to the gameplay
The hag flicks are NOT bad design. You just don't personally like them. There is a difference between those 2. A difference this community needs to learn
You should know by now that most survivors in this community will not be happy and think every killer is poorly designed unless they play like Nurse without any blinks.
-
Isn’t it possible the stats are high because Resident Evil is a big franchise that has a lot of passionate fans and those fans came to Dbd in order to play as Wesker which would inflate the stats because more people are picking him over other, lesser known killers?
The stats say Nurse is at 52% so I guess she’s fine and probably needs buffs since devs want killers to have. A higher kill rate.

I think 20 minutes is too short survivors could try to hide that whole time and sometimes matches just last longer even they go normally. Something like 30-40 minutes could be more reasonable timelimit.
Nah, 20 minutes is fine. They could prevent hiding by revealing auras of anyone who hasn't done anything to progress the game(for at least 60 seconds) after 120 seconds. So, if during those two minutes, someone doesn't at least work on a gen or cleanse a totem or open a chest for a combined time of 60 seconds (could be 30 seconds in the first minute and 30 seconds in the second), their aura is revealed. Devs could play around with the times.
More than 20 minutes is just too long for a match. I'd rather let the entity kill me and get minimal points.
-
If memory serves me correctly, I think a Forum Moderator confirmed if you excessively camp a 3-gen and don’t attempt to down a survivor, it could be counted as holding the game hostage. I’m too lazy to look up the quote tho, but I think it’s for an extended period such as 30 minutes.
Im of the opinion that no match should last longer than 20 minutes. Devs should just make it to where the end game collapse starts at the 20 minute mark, irregardless of how many gens are done. This would solve the problem of excessively holding the game hostage for both sides and hackers holding everyone hostage (as long as it’s done on the server side).
-
Nope. I’m not a whiny entitled brat who can’t handle going against killers I don’t like.
Only time I leave a match early is by not hitting skill checks on hook if my teammates are trolling or clipping their toenails behind a rock across the map.

I disagree with basekit Unbreakable, but basekit BT is a good thing (except it should not extend to end game). Basekit DS would be great too!
Basekit DS at 5 seconds and the perk could add another DS after second hook. One of the worst things BHVR did was nerf DS to three seconds.

so it really is a hoard.
Yes. I’ve been trying to find a family for the girl kitten, while wanting to keep the boy and his mom (mom acts like she hates her daughter these days). She kept hissing and growling at anyone that came to see her. Then the other day, the tech to install my internet came and she was all over him being super sweet and loving. Turns out, she hates women and likes guys.
I think I’m stuck with her now since she’s basically bonded with her bro and no one really wants a teenager cat (going on 7 months now).

There are classes of perks for Solo that SWF don't have to run. Coordination and Survival are the classes, I think. The fact that Solos have to run these perks are a reason why they lag behind.
No, the reason why Solo lags behind is because solo players are generally bad at the game. You can give solos voice communications and their escape rate wouldn’t improve much because bad players are still going to hide behind rocks in the furthest reaches of the map, refuse to solve Mr Baldys box, run the killer to your hook, let you get to second stage, and all the other crap they do.

Evil mage/sorcerer.
They have long velvet robes, glowing green eyes, crimson hair and can switch between male and female.
Their m1 ability shoots out a small lance made of ice.
Their M2 ability is to summon a meteor that they can place in front of them kind of like how the Doctors add on that changes his shock to a ring, but with a bit more control.
They won’t walk but rather float like nurse.
Their secondary ability decreases the temperature of the map By summoning a blizzard. It slows down survivor movement speed while making the ground slippery, making traversal difficult because you’ll slip and slide in the wrong direction. This will end of survivors find the four runes that power the storm and erase them. (Probably too processor intensive to ever make it in the game 😩)

You don't understand DBD very well if you don't understand that the killer and how they play dictates the way the game plays out, the killer by the nature of the game design is far more influential than the survivor role
You don’t understand DBD very well if you don’t understand that competent survivors and how they play dictates the way the game plays out. Competent survivors, by the very nature of the game design are more influential than the killer role.

That is such a sorry pathetic mantra among some in the DBD community
The onus is on the devs to make sure their customers are having fun, not the players.
It’s pathetic that players think they can dictate how their opponents should play the game and demand they “take it easy” on them.
-
@Dead_Harder said:

Agreed. Its so simple but somehow some players get their heads so twisted and deluded that they think playing the game is toxic and a bannable offense.
It’s because their killer experience is limited and have never played long enough to face competent survivors. They just thought “oh killer is easy I can stomp them so fast!” And think they need nerfs.
Either that or they’re just bad at survivor and want the devs to hold their hands while disparaging the killer player for trying to win and not handicapping themselves.
-
@Dead_Harder said:
Its never wrong to tunnel.
Dont listen to this games community too much. They have a little twisted idea about whats allowed/toxic and whats not.
It is wrong to tunnel if you are deliberately doing it with the intention of making your opponent miserable. It might not be punished, but it’s wrong.
It’s also wrong to tunnel if you’re doing it because of discrimination. For example, they have a pride charm, you don’t like their stance on LGBT and decide to tunnel them because of it, it’s wrong and can be punished if you admit it in chat.
Its never wrong to tunnel if you think it’ll help you win.
-
They got nothing for Claudette so my resistance to their tactics are up 300%.

I think Demopuppy is a truly well balanced killer. He has a decent chase power, map mobility and cuteness. Doctor is also another decent killer (though I feel he needs a little love since predropping pallets is easy).
The problem really isn’t how well balanced killers are, it’s how absurd maps are. It’s just tedious to chase someone from strong loop to strong loop to strong tile to yet another strong loop where they can see you regardless of you moonwalking and trying to mind game.
Killers wouldn’t need to be as strong as Nurse or Blight if maps were fair and survivors didn’t have the opportunity to loop M1 killers for 3 gens. There would be more variety in killers and Nurse and Blight power levels could be brought down if maps were rebalanced. They could also do away with camping if they made map layouts better and have killer players be able to spread out hooks. As things are now, against competent players (they don’t even have to be great), killers really can’t spread out the hooks and make for a fun game for everyone.

18mbs will do fine, you dont really need a huge amount of download speed to play online games as long as you have a stable connection.
Iv played on packages between 25-800mb and I couldn't tell you the difference as both ran fine and both could have issues (because it's not always a you problem)
It’s good to hear. I was ignorant about the differences between internet speed, stability and packet loss. I was just so comfortable having fiber for a few years, I just got spoiled.
Hopefully my connection is great and I wouldn’t need to worry.
