Old legion concept was fun but hard to play against.
New Legion concept is unfun to play and boring to go against.
Legion is one of those killers that needs the Freddy Love.

Not to mention Pig can camp the jigsaw boxes and prevent survivors from getting off, gettign easy kills. It's an annoying playstyle and this change would just encourage it.
While camping traps is a valid point. Doing so usually ends in an easy win since you can only camp one box possibly ruining one survivors experience. And at these ranks by the time that 1 survivor is dead. The rest of the gens will be popped since already one had to be done in order for the trap to even be activated.
It may be annoying but it wouldn’t be game breaking or an automatic win. Also you would end up depiping

The biggest one that pisses me off is there's a certain instance where they can leave the match with a trap on their head.
i advise anything that reduces the charge of ambush and make it your best friend because it's what makes Amanda good
It just bothers me that Pig is probably the easiest character to buff and the Devs just choose to ignore the Saw Community who bought and still enjoy this chapter. Even with the nerfs during the EGC livestream they said they would look at if it effects her and they never have touched or talked about her since.

As of right now, the RBTs are lame. Rules Set No. 2 makes the game feel like SAW.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/707508#Comment_707508
This 100% this. As someone who mains Pig along with the Fredster, I agree. If the traps get too many kills, they can be tweaked, but the traps are meant to be scary. People need to realize that Amanda rigged the games to screw with the players, it shouldn't be easy/fair.
This is such a great Point. It’s Amanda’s game and she only wanted one outcome.

I'm surprised people want Rule Set No. 2 in base kit. I personally don't think that would be good. The main purpose of Pig's Reversed Bear Traps is to slow the game down, not kill survivors.
If it becomes part of the base kit, then you could use the addon that increases the available jigsaw boxes by one and the addon that decreases the Bear Trap timer. It would be way too likely to get kills via Reversed Bear Traps. And probably very annoying for survivors as well since it's based on rng.
One buff I would love to see is for survivors to have a 0% chance to receive the key for your Reveresed Bear Trap in the first Jigsaw Box you search. But Rule Set No. 2 would be too good in my opinion.
Then make it so Jigsaw boxes can not be touched until the trap is active
or
If you search a jigsaw box but fail and your trap is not active. All other Jigsaw boxes are deactivated for 30 seconds. Causing more risk in early bear trap gameplay.

Not working through Ruin
putting themselves into the struggle phase on 1st hook
Not working on Generators while I’m in a chase (when I go down I just see survivors self caring, going through chests, walking around, or following me while I’m being chased but don’t have a flashlight.)
These never seem to fail

1: Outlast II
Killer- Marta Survivor- Blake Langermann
2:It
killer- (pennywise) Survivor-Grown up Beverly
3: I know what you did last summer
Killer- Benjamin Willis (Fish Hook) Survivor- Helen Shivers
Honestly though how the hell is Sarah Michelle Gellar not in this game yet. She is one of the most known slasher scream queens!
-
Maybe they will rework his perks with this update too:)
-
The only map that I hate spawning into for both killer and survivor is the hag map. I just think it’s too big and the edge of the map is my least favorite map design due too totem spawns, hatch spawns, or hiding survivors. Plus it’s hard to safely patrol Gens too. You usually have to pick a section and give up on the rest of the map.

If the killer is closing the hatch, you can open faster the exit gates.
So you have a higher chance to escape the killer.
Thank You

Camping is fair during egc tho and this just destroys that entirely
By EGC most survivors should be on death hook. If there not then the game was already a GG my dude

34 seconds is too long but 16 was too short. Hopefully they change it to a middle ground between the two. 15/20/25 would be good.
It’s one time use. And it only effects campers. Which is a strategy but a cheap strat. So 34 seconds to go activate a perk to see killer camp and then using what left for free gen time is a great addition.
-
Good give survivors some decent perks for a change. If killers don’t camp then the perk is useless ^
its for anti camping and I welcome it
-
That’s an extreme nerf to a niche perk. But don’t worry in about 3 months they will buff it like they do to all new perks. For some reason Behaviour has a tendency of putting out perks weaker and tweeking numbers as time goes by. Look at dark devotion and infectious fright. They just got there numbers tweeked finally

Legion is not fine, they are boring and underperforming, but more importantly they need to be a group, that's their true nature.
I mean I’m rank 2 and still doing fine. I’ll 4k most of the time and the only time I struggle is with the typical unfair advantages that most killers face against com survivors. That doesn’t mean legion is bad. Thats just another case of SWF not being balanced properly in the game. He really just needs quality of life fixes that I already mentioned or even an added new deep wound effect.
I just dont don’t see how making 2 forms of the legion but then each having separate perks is a power worth having. It would be a meh ability that doesn’t help in the chase.
Legion is an underrated killer that isn’t as terrible as everyone says. With perks like the buffed Dark Devotion. Legion can target his prey better then ever. He can dominate certain teams. You just need to be able to hit FF hits. And no when not to use your power also. If you can do that then I promise you’ll be loving this killer. He’s just not as easy as he used to be and it’s up to the devs if the legion needs tweaking or not.
-
Honestly legion is fine . I just wish they would take away the lose power from M1 hits and misses. There was no need for the change. It’s a non lethal ability meaning you can’t down anyone with the ability itself. So there’s no need in giving the power so many drawbacks. I promise you doing this will make so many legion players happy.

@Peanits said:
Basically because the killer could just stand there and wait for you to unhook yourself and instantly down you. The amount of situations where it would actually make a difference and lead to an escape would be incredibly slim and it's not worth wasting everyone's time just in case the stars align and you get away.
Shouldn’t that be the players choice. If they want to take a chance against the killer I feel they should be allowed.
-
Ghostface Buff
After being revealed by a survivor your power instead last for 8 seconds instead of being instantly taken out. That way you have a fighting chance to fully stock.

He will definitely have some sort of built tracking feature with the blood since that’s how he “hunts” in the show.
Also will probably have something to do with when he is close gen lights will flicker because of how he messes with electricity when in the upside down

Since we know that in the future, when a survivor dc's they'll leave behind a husk (presumably to be hooked, to insta die etc) if the killer dc's im hoping that instead of bringing the game back to the menu, the killer has its own form of husk added.
A far shorter endgame should occur on the killer disconnecting, perhaps giving maybe a minute to escape the match, with both exit gates opening. enough time to get to the exit gates and leave, keeping all points and items gained in the match, but allowing for some last minute saves/activity before leaving the match.
this way it will add some last minute intensity to the match. should i try and find hatch with the egc timer on me? should i save that person on hook or just simply leave? should i try and get an item from the basement to make this trial worthwhile? something that's just better then an instant cut to the lobby.
Perhaps we could even gain the ability to gain something off the killers husk, like boldness points for interacting with it. something to make the game more interesting and add last minute tension to a match where the killer has left. i obviously don't want people trying to make killers dc so they can be rewarded from the husk, but simply to give something to people to continue playing in the short time left in the match.
this is me in no way advocating dc's btw, i think there horrible and i wish there wasn't so many of them. however in the event of a dc i simply wish for the survivor side to have a match to finish outside of the killer.
The problem I see with that idea atm is the fact that the killer is the host of the game and there would need to be a host migration loading time after he left to keep the game going.
-
I agree. If you don’t like it then you don’t have to get it. But personally I am so ecstatic and don’t care what the cost is. ######### I’ll drop 50$ to get this DLC.
-
If they at least buff deep wound to be more of a threat towards survivors then Legion becomes more of a fun killer again. Legion isn’t necessarily bad. His power just became to underwhelming after the nerf since all it does is take away time but the time it does take away really is not as effective as it could be.
-
@ClogWench said:
People spamming the forum with Legion threads isn't going to make the devs drop everything and rework them again.
No but it gives them the idea that leaving a killer at an unfinished state also isn’t acceptable nor professional as a development team.

@Horror_Gaming DS makes anyone the obsession to avoid 100% knowing that you have DS
That doesn’t seem very balanced when I get punished by the Mori dying light combo. Especially when I’m only the obsession because someone else brought DS..
-
I thought the killer will always come straight for you when you messed up a skill check. So I would go hide in a locker. I spent a lot of time in lockers as a 20.
I also didn’t know about the scratch mark mechanic and wondered how the killer always knew that I ran to a locker during a chase when out of Line of Sight.
-
I was playing a game with my friend and I had no obsession perks. The killer had dying light. And my buddy told me that he was using DS. But somehow I ended up being the obsession which was kind of triggering to me. Since I don’t use obsession perks in general to avoid the negatives that come with being an obsession.
on Xbox this obsession bug has happened 3 times to me alone.

Even as survivor his ability doesn’t scare me. Usually you get hit then he runs off and you just mend away. How is that something to fear as a survivor. His feral frenzy honestly feels like a knock off built in borrowed time

Tree from Happy Death Day
Swink from Stay Alive. Can he shout, "#########, that's cheating!" whenever a killer uses their power? ;)

Ok, so running this with BBQ and/or whispers (I have to assume many killers will do this) would be WAY too OP, still a no from me.
For ‘HeyItsNick123andnea’, this will result in the opposite effect you described. This won’t push survivors off gens to hurry an unhook...because more than likely, they’re exposed.
If you hook a survivor next to let’s say a 80% gen. Then it’s going to push all survivors away from the gen they were trying to finish. So in a way it could help against people who try to team pressure a gen.
-
@IMhereRUN said:
Here’s my theory, feel free to let me know if I’m wrong.
- Relentless - You are not too successful mindgaming loops, so continuously chase one survivor from loop to loop, and no longer want to lose bloodlust to make your life easier.
- Shadow Watcher - When you finally caught this guy, teammates were body blocking your way to the hook, so they should be punished with insta-down.
- Ferocious Manner - You want to quickly re-down the hooked survivor (tunneling) or quickly hit the rescuer, before you are thrown into loops again. My first thought was this was to counter borrowed time, but that would only apply to your TR while being unhooked, not after, so I went with this one.
Relentless - nope. Very strong, has no counter.
Shadow Watcher - Hell no. You can get all survivors exposed at once by literally doing nothing, run Haunted Ground instead. We don’t need a re-trigger able NOED during the run.
Ferocious Manner - no, but not a firm no. It’s strong, but not OP, but to me it just promotes tunneling.
I’m a killer main, And although we may never get there, I have to promote suggested balance. The only way I could approve these perks, is with a new survivor that has perks to counter.
I was trying to think of a perk that could work like BBQ but reward the player with an opposite effect of being close .
-
What if relentless worked like spirit fury . Every 3 pallets you destroyed then you don’t lose bloodlust? They were just ideas though and I appreciate the feed back !
-
I don’t think they expected there game to last as long and change as much as it has over the years.
-

@Star99er said:
Depleting Feral Frenzy when you miss a hit seems like a huge penalty when you consider how long it takes for The Legions power to fully recover. What if when you miss a hit instead of it completely draining your power it just takes you out of Feral Frenzy and the recovery starts at however much charge you had left?
Ild rather it take a small portion from the bar itself. Also hitting survivors with your M1 ability should not drain feral frenzy. That’s just annoying. I down a survivor and two of his friends pop up and I can’t apply deep wound to either of them until the power recharges.
-
I also think hooked survivors shouldn’t take him out of stealth.

It’s a concept🙄 and it makes a secondary objective to kill gen rushing. If you would like to give a different bonus feel free to do so!

Left Behind- change it to every time a survivor is killed off you gain a 15% bonus to repair speed.
Aftercare: Anybody who you effect with the perk you gain a a 15% bonus to healing, repair, and saving when working together. Along with the aura sharing
-
Why not make a custom survivor since you couldn’t get the movie license. You made up an original backstory for ghost face. So why not an original character concept as well?
-
Also I would love a red add on where if your asleep. Then every now and then a fake Freddy pops out and slowly walks towards you but then also bursts into blood. That would be scary awesy
