I keep seeing people say he's a worse Plague, Pyramid Head, Huntress, & Deathslinger so his 3 hit to down tentacle isn't really fair. However, people are leaving out crucial details for why it's fair for other killers & not him.
To start, PH's punishment of the damned travel time is alot slower than Nemesis'. While it is longer, it's way easier to dodge if you aren't locked in an animation. Mind you when he uses it he can't move & has to wait for the animation to end.
Now there's the Plague comparison. Firstly, she can't just use her corrupt purge whenever she wants she has to travel to a corrupted fountain, sometimes she doesn't have one for most of the game, wait the whole drinking animation & has a limited amount of time to use it. Nemesis' can use his tentacle whenever he wants.
Lastly, Huntress has a limited amount of hatches and MOST IMPORTANTLY is a 4.4 speed killer along with deathslinger who can't down people over pallets like Nemesis' can.
Mind you, you're a 2 hit killer if they're contaminated AND there's a limited amount of vaccines. Frankly, I see the 3 hit AND the speed boost as fair, otherwise people would only use his tentacle making next to no structure safe.
You forgot to put the negatives to Nemesis’s power so let me fix your post to show why he is weaker
While pyramid head’s power is slower, his goes through walls, has longer range, can swing out of it with the right timing, and his wider than Nemesis’s tentacle
Plague’s infection is what people keep comparing it in which, his infection makes survivors periodically cough and allows survivors to be hurt by zombies and his tentacle, plague leaves the survivors in the broken status effect once they are fully infected, giving them less time to recover from when a mistake is made
Nemesis however, you are headlocked upon activating for power for a second, are slowed down when hitting or missing, it goes 4 meters by default (increases to a whopping 5 when leveled up), has to 3 hit down fully healthy survivors and they still a speed boost, has a really tight hurtbox, but it moves at 1000%...which with add-ons huntress with a fully charged hatchet can go faster than that which can make a fully charged hatchet undodgeable sometimes
Nemesis has more negatives than all of these killers, he doesn’t perform well on outdoor maps (zombies aren’t that useful on those maps) and big maps you might as well pray, his zombies AI is so bad that it can get stuck on a tree and a generator, sometimes rocks.
In my case, if we removed the speed boost survivors get when the are initially infected by nemesis it would make him feel much better to play
-
Nemesis has a tight hitbox when using his power and they somehow managed to put my teammates in solo queue into the zombies AI, nemesis is far from OP
-
Nemesis is far from weak, but then again he just recently got alot of changes so I suggest waiting a bit before saying much

Meaning in the main game? For example if I go into the tutorial to play some bot matches (which I've been looking forward to doing), does that mean that when I'm done and exit the tutorial my online characters will be reverted to their vanilla state?
Sorry to be so specific, this is just something I was planning on doing so I need to know what I'm in for.
Yes in the main game

What do you mean „it made the outfits sets“?
They weren’t sets before the hotfix
-
@miketheratguy said:
What do you mean by tutorial resetting every survivor?
Perks, skins, charms, etc are defaulted for survivors and killers
-
SWF with and without comms are fine, I can see the complaints about it but its not as bad as you think, stop blaming swf for everything

No, learn to play stealthy. Every killer in the game shouldn't be countered by running in a circle around a pallet until you throw it on their head.
DBD isn’t a stealth game anymore or else it wouldn’t have changed from Hide and Seek to cat and mouse after doctor released
playing Stealthfully will only get you so far, and on most maps you can’t play stealthy, you will need to get into a chase eventually
-
No it could not learn from rainbow six siege as good lord that game is overrated solely because that game is balanced for competitive players and not for those wanting to have fun
dbd should have a operation health, but nothing else
-
If a killer vaults a window with bamboozle it is literally countered by going to the next loop
-
Time based game, you shouldn’t be forced to break the walls just to prevent an infinite and some breakable walls even make some loops better when broken
-
I don’t think its the servers if you have a 72 hour ban
-
Never
-
2v8 would result in killers specifically ruining one persons game out of spite, and maps would need to be extremely big
-
Yes, very good, super good
use it- Pyramid Head main

I am without skill

Hmm. Assuming they do make it a new Totem state after cleansing (rather than a new interaction itself), it would probably be a good thing to do that.
I can't recall, but does Retribution only apply the duration of Oblivious after fully cleansing, or is an Oblivious effect applied while cleansing in a similar manner to Demo's Portals?
That...would actually be a pretty solid buff to retribution
making interactions with totems in general to a hex perk that could be pretty big buff
and to the Op, if thats how it works then that would be pretty good as well, Boon totems are making me excited

Nope. He only loses against good survivors, which are more rare than good Nurses.
Y...yeah? Of course he will because you won’t lose against bad survivors

Yes, considering I've only played him 8 times.
He isn't comparable to Slinger or Huntress. Completely different power and skill cap.
I'd put him in D tier, but he's still viable.
D tier≠ viable, as that means he is too weak in most cases

I think 7 games.
I haven't lost at all as him besides one game, but I haven't really played him at all. So my winstreak, which is def under 10, plus 1 is my total number of games with him.
So you think a 7 win streak makes him viable when compared to slinger and huntress? Or really any killer for that matter?

🤣
I play on console too buddy.
Did you read the last sentence?
whats your highest win streak?
-
@CoalTower said:
Trickster is perfectly viable. Just practice more.
Trickster’s whole kit is horrid what do you mean he is viable?
his kit is only good on PC for starters and even then its only good with infectious and iron maiden
His ‘ult’ as I’ll put it makes him 92% movement speed, meaning it can literally be useless at many walls and it has a limit to how long its active, then you have his actual power which is unbuffable due to how badly it could go
literally every trickster uses melodious murder just because it makes him actually have a power, and the issue is if we gave him melodious as basekit he would be even more unbearable to face than he already is. And here is a thing before you say you can win as him, a single win doesn’t mean anything, but what is your longest win streak as him? I can win as trickster too and I play on console, but I can’t maintain a win streak, now I want you to use his basekit and do a winstreak and come back when its long enough to be considered to be a viable killer like winstreak
-
Just like most perks, meta is more important sadly
-
If you specifically target someone because they have the charm, its targeted harassment (usually if they kill only the people with the charm and farm with the rest or if they are to say it in endgame chat)
-
Now this is epic
-
Hello, someone with a christian family and is also Pan, heads up that literally nobody except 1 grandma cares about my sexuality and thats it
So many things in the bible prove these wrong as well, and I know for a fact you read the bible if you pulled these up so come on, show us what you decided to ignore that the Bible shows that god loves all of his children, instead of going for the rights :)

As he should

if ya want a key nerf then explain how should they nerf it
"Tbh they don't even have to do a new animation they could just make it so the hatch only spawns when 5 gens have been done or there is only one survivor left."
-
Trickster so I can save us all from facing him
-
Meg, Meg and Meg
As you can tell, I don't like meg :)
(Meg, Elodie, and Felix imo, Elodie is so bloody annoying, Felix is overrated, and Meg mains need to share)

Any different from the ptbs they push to live with like no changes? *coughing fit with twins*
Bug fixes are way more important than you think
Imagine if this chapter launches and we have a game breaking bug, I.E the ol PS4 4 fps optimization or basement hooks send you to the void again

Keys arent a problem. Comparing it to moris is just ridiculous
As killer im fine with keys, its happens like 1 game on 10, and when, well just bring Franklins and.. git gud.
A perk shouldn't be forced onto you just to counter an item

resident evil is a console game before all so it would be good if the dlc is available without ptb directly
This could go very poorly

This video is about spirit having no sort of counterplay
Every 1v1 designed killer has counterplay except her for some reason
-
Winning as killer is also losing
-
Oh good lord bet half of those hours were in queue
-
z-flick happened
-
Spirit hater that promptly thinks facing Pyramid Head is much more fun than facing a spirit
I choose not to play her solely because I hate facing her and don’t want anyone else dealing with that bull

Lets replace trapper in that video and throw in myers. Seems like a fairer example lol.
Myers is also not the best example, his tier 3 has an extended lunge and a faster vault with instadown capabilities

The First Place guy with 4:02 second chase time, 3 Generator would have pop at the time it took a down. The Killer would have probably chase someone else off at that point but still that's just frustrating that as a Killer you just wasted your time.
Good Killers would get the down faster but what about someone like a M1 Killer like Clown, Myers and Legion?
He had no perks and used no power, he was a straight up M1 exclusive killer
Trapper could have shut down loops
-
I had to never use his knives and M1, got it on Hawkins
It was about 10 matches into trying to do it and that was my final attempt because trickster was the killer form of insanity
-
imo it will be Nemesis as Mr.X doesn't really have a power, while in Resistance nemesis had...alot of powers
-
They....are playing the game they bought?
-
This thread is how I learned that people play twins
