I find it hilarious how dbd and r6 are both paid games and also the only games to not have paid currency on the free tracks lmao
Atleast R6 has alpha packs to give you skins though
EDIT: Should add onto this
R6 has alpha packs with set rarities in their battlepasses, not dup protected but they can give you one of the 2 currencies in the game to get new characters, it also does infact have pieces to other operators
The paid pass also gives you stuff after you hit max tier too, being alpha packs

Which other addon survivor/killer have downs. Except ones that take something im return for additional bp
I don’t think you understand, high power add-ons in a balance perspective need to have a downside for its upside
No joke Blight himself even has some (restricts his turning rate but gives him another rush and faster recharge rate on stacks) if this add-on only gave him another rush and had no downside that would genuinely be good for a rare add-on
Huntress’s Iridescent Head also gives her a one shot down with her hatchets, but she can only have 1 hatchet
Trapper’s Trapper Bag lets him have all traps but he can’t pick up traps
Pretty sure Billy’s Pighouse gloves has an upside and downside as well
Carmina has an add-on that reduces her total crow count but if she is on cooldown she is undetectable, another that increases crow count but has a downside too iirc
Alot of killers do so why does Alchemist ring have no downside while some of these do?
EDIT: Hag also has add-ons that do it too forgot to mention that

Let me explain Alchemist ring here
Alchem ring is an add-on with no downsides just to be rewarded with a “that cooldown didn’t happen”, add-ons should not do this, especially in Blight’s case where his power is movement speed with an attack within it

BHVR has to roll a dice get a nat 20 8 times, rework freddy, Spirit, and Nurse 80 times, do exactly every change the community asks for, summon god out of the sky, cure every disease known to man, and find a way to make immortally real just to appease this community slightly i’m starting to feel bad for bhvr now

Same, I just lightly rotate my stick and that is fine. It is not loud, it is not straining. Playing a pendulum mini game after I got downed is just not my cup of tea. I want to be able to like, check my phone? I hope they let us opt out.
tbh I am fine with wiggle being press to hold instead as I like to look at my phone when doing both wiggle and struggle (Yeah I still do it on struggle, yes I miss skillchecks sometimes but I promise that discord message with a dog was important)

Because you can straight up deny a killer of an entire perk, BBQ will never get its 4th stack for example and most on hook perks can result in nothing due to this (Its outdated, but Otz has a clip where the obsession left the same time he hooked her for old Dead Man's Switch, which in theory meant he had an empty perk slot for the whole game)

Deja Vu does the exact same thing, like I mentioned. What I didn't mention is how Visionary (ik short cooldown of 16 seconds) literally wants you to not do gens or else the gen seeing perk is disabled, compared to Deja Vu that does what you to do gens as it reactivates the perk, so Deja Vu tells you "Here is gens, do any of the gens including the ones I showed you and I show you more" while Visionary tells you to "You can see gens within 32 meters, but when one gets completed I deactivate, not showing you gens anymore for 16 seconds", so even though it is a new player based perk, Deja Vu just helps newbies better for the long run

Alot of things in dbd aren't really known as well...its not said often
Like mentioned in the same thread, Nurse can be lightburned as well, Artist's Idle Crows can be burnt, (this one is more well known) Wraith's lightburn, Spirit's husk burn, etc
Firecrackers can do the same effect iirc but nobody uses flashbangs or firecrackers enough to waste them on a power like that (except wraith, which is why imo lightburn should just not be in the game as you almost never burn a Nurse and Wraith gets punished way too hard by it)

Nurse is a killer made of glass, any small nerf can break her due to her power design as she has no fallback for if her power becomes too weak from a nerf

And another thing, this has been a priority of both the maker of bubba’s survivor masks and well, quite literally Not_Queen herself, to get rid of the mask
The artist of the mask even expressed joy about the mask being removed
its simply the devs not wanting something in dbd being used as Blackface and not a normal cosmetic

The masks were removed due to people using them to specifically target streamers or people playing Claudette, Adam, and Tapp with the mask and only target them, they would ignore anyone who was white and target everyone else. And by target a Live Streamer actually was stream sniped and basically had her games ruined solely for the sake of ruining them due to her skin colour
But to anyone saying “its just a game” I suggest learning why people play games, some people play it as an escape from whatever is happening irl and would prefer to play something and relax, people used Bubba’s smartface mask to specifically target people
And another thing if you guys are complaining about a free cosmetic being removed and replaced with 6k iri shards then thats just sad

Bubba got nerf the addon that were good on him got nerf by 2%. So you you use your chainsaw instead of gaining 4% movement speed you will only get 2% movement speed that a huge nerf. The buff he receive are on tantrum addon honestly i dont think you want to go in tantrum unless the survivor jump in a locker in front of you
