I think his base power is good enough that some of his add ons could be toned down. The total silent bell I think is alright but the all seeing one I think should be changed.
-
They aren't fixing grabs they are just making it so you don't get utterly cucked when the server NOPES you. Now you will at least M1 instead of a back rub but you won't get the grab still. Also the pallet change worries me, it's needed for high ping players but if anyone thinks they will add it into the game in a fair and working manor then they are a fool.
-
They need to remove his recoil, it's extremely frustrating to miss knives because RNG dicks you even though you aimed perfectly. This can also kick in multiple times IN A ROW and cause you to miss a lot, it's really annoying and serves no purpose, please delete it.
-
Haddonfield is probably the single worst but there are a lot of maps that are extremely survivor sided after they did their realm beyond bs.
-
The most unfun killer in the game got another nerf? I don't see the problem here.

Like seriously, i just played on this map for the first time. It's like they saw the purposefully confusing map design of RCPD and thought
"P E R F E C T."
It is awful to play on both sides. Not only because the design is confusing, but because it encompasses every bad thing people don't want in a map. It's indoors, the map is massive, it has multiple stories, very narrow hallways, and is confusing as all hell.
They could have given us a map in the Raccoon city streets. Which frankly were way less confusing than the goddamn police department. But no, BHVR decided to go with the worst possible map without thinking of how to make the map work with DBD.
Play the RE2 remake (no seriously, it's a 10/10 game just get it and play it) and the map is easy to understand.
-
flashbang dicks on wraith super hard, plus it's hella fun to use in general so just bring flashbang.
-
The entire emblem system is doodoo, it's why people say rank doesn't matter.
-
Report and move on, you aren't entitled to know if/when someone is disciplined.
-
Bugs and disappointment.
-
Spirit. I rarely play her but she is pretty fun to play as.
-
Can I get a killer perk that stops all survivors for 20s just for them doing their objective with no way to avoid it too please? 5s stun is way to long considering the perk is on that gen for 45s with no way to avoid it.
-
Just use Franklin's Demise...hmm wait a second, something doesn't feel quite right...
-
Can I downvote people yet? Flashbang is perfectly fine, it's a very good and fun perk and shouldn't be touched in any way shape or form.
-
Maps have always been the biggest problem with this game in terms of balance, that hasn't changed. In fact it got even worse with the realm-what-the-[BAD WORD]-ever thing they did, they buffed the safety on every map they redid except for ormond.
-
A lot of things are broken, are you really surprised? lol. Bhvr isn't known for their quality updates after all.
-
None, some add ons here and there might be a bit to strong (alc ring on blight) but even those are more meh than anything. Honestly the main thing that needs adjustments are maps and tiles.
-
They want both, even if they won't openly admit it. They want "meaningful counterplay" in the 1v1 but the same people say that maps and gen speed are fine. Meaningful counterplay would be fine on killers like slinger if maps weren't so survivor sided, almost every pallet now-a-days is so safe you just have to kick it, even the majority of filler pallets. Maps and tiles need way more attention than killers people find "unfun."

Didnt know that deception, head on, detectives hunch and iron will are second chance perks lul
No but deliverence, unbreakable, DS, dead hard, literally all exhaustion perks, soul guard, etc. Those are second chances.

I really dislike this perk, it doesnt provide any fun interaction or gameplay. There is no skill or effort involved, its just for bad Killers to push their ego and get some cheeky easy kills even though they played bad.
My idea would be simiular like No way out. Hook every survivors once atleast to make it active once all gens are done.
Anyone who uses the term, in any fashion "I'm a killer main" is full of #########, sorry bro but the only people who think noed needs to be nerfed are rank 15 survivor mains who have absolutely no idea how to play. Newer killers should absolutely get a second chance with how busted matchmaking is, you and your lot can stack literally 4 second chances EACH, let the new killers have their ONE.
-
The only issue with T and L walls are when they chain into other windows, but that is a problem with map design not the tile itself.
-
Most killer perks are fairly mediocre honestly. You can stack 4 of them for solid builds but most on their own aren't very good. I think survivor perks need more nerfs than killer perks. DH is a free extra health state every 40s, unbreakable is literally a game changer, a match goes from LOST to winning which is nuts (no I don't think UB needs a nerf, just showing how stupidly strong it is) I think Prove Thyself is extremely powerful, shaving off like 8s per gen with people stacked? That's a lot of time saved, almost a full gen in fact. Killers might have strong powers and or add ons but their perks are meh other than maybe like 10 of them.
-
If they can use the chat feature they are windows store, otherwise they are console (no way to tell which console.)
-
It is a bit annoying how it counters stealth killers as much as it does. It's not to strong just to strong vs stealth killers so honestly I have no idea what they can do. Maybe make undetectable counter it like it counters aura reading? I'm unsure honestly.
-
I think the stun duration is to long, a 5s stun with blindness and deafening you is just really damn strong. Sure it's no dead hard but it shouldn't be more than 3s stun if you ask me.
-
I can't be the only person who thought, based on his title, that he was talking about the killer, right guys???
-
While I do not consider Tru one of the top killers (he is solid but nothing special) he is in fact right about game balance for the most part. At the highest level of play the game falls apart, it's impossible to win unless your killer can ignore literally every defense survivors get. The game is not balanced around high level SWFs and as such they will always dominate the game.
-
It's probably a bug, they still scream for me but there is no sound bubble.
-
I disagree, he is C tier, average at best. He isn't weak but he is nothing special, maybe around doc's level. You can do well with him but a good team will beat you every time.
-
He's mediocre at best. The team was so worried about making sure he had counterplay that they left him as pretty much an inferior version of PH and basically every way. Zombies are useless pretty much the entire game (though on some indoor maps they can do work) and his power is just, meh. I mean it is solid at countering loops but other killers do what he does better already. He's fun but not very good. No map pressure at all and his range is so short that most of the time survivors just W away. Also his add ons are bleh.
Honestly this killer needs a lot of love, for such a staple in the horror field he is way to lacking. People want to say he isn't weak but honestly he is just a lesser version of killers that already exist.
-
Nemesis is honestly mediocre at best. The killer looks cool but he is not very good.

The Franklin’s nerf was VERY well-deserved. In no circumstances should a killer be able to steal survivors’ items. Keys are not broken. Killers running stacked regression perks are an epidemic, many killers have broken add-ons in dire need of rework, majority of maps in this game are heavily killer-sided. Right now, killers are almost unstoppable. Keys are needed to level the playing field against opponents running busted builds and crutching on broken Midwich/Saloon offerings.
You remind me of someone else on these forums...hmm, can't quite put my finger on their name...
-
It's coming in 15min.
-
Whispers + Iron Maiden + STBFL + Pop. Range extender (any works) + any status effect add on of your choice. This is my favorite doc build as you cannot hide from it at all.
-
You want to nerf a semi decent/weak hex so that your already stronger perk can be even stronger? Bruh...
-
Because this dev team is a joke at balancing because currently high level games are extremely unbalanced and ALWAYS unfun. Gens are done in 3-4min total or you are all slugged to death before that happens. It's super unfun and boring even when you win, only nurse and spirit have even a chance at winning and only if they bring their best add ons and 4 slow down perks. The game falls apart at high levels, it's not balanced even in the slightest and as a result matches are very VERY unfun at that level.
TLDR: The game is not balanced at high levels and there for always unfun/bs.
-
Basement is fine. Spawns and tile layout at the biggest issues with the game right now, second to bugs that is.
-
No, learn to play stealthy. Every killer in the game shouldn't be countered by running in a circle around a pallet until you throw it on their head.
-
It's overpowered af, doesn't even have a breakable wall you can use. This dev team is a joke when it comes to map balance.
-
While I do believe they need to give killers real counterplay to exhaustion perks I do not think this is the way to do it. Honestly if everyone is alive and healthy once the last gen is done you pretty much lost anyway so disabling them won't do anything really. They need to give killers perks that can give survivors exhaustion without jumping through twenty hoops (blood echo) or only lasting 3-5s (mindbreaker.)

While the auto-ban feature is still being developed and we don't have details to share yet, you can be assured that as long as people play within the game rules, they won't get banned, and I'm sure offenses that require video evidence will still require said proof.
You can check the game rules here if you have doubts: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
I realize that this isn't something you get to decide, so if this seems rude I apologize. Bhvr's past record is why I and a lot of other people do not have faith that this will be implemented in an appropriate way. I mean how long have dedicated servers been out and grabs are still not fixed, Myers stalk is still broken, etc. MMR has been a dumpster fire every single time it was turned on, I could go on and on. Actions speak louder than words and I'm sorry but only a fool takes someone at their word when they have failed to live up to their word time and time again.

So then... he shouldn’t need M&A at all then, eh?
My point is M&A should be an incompatible perk. If he’s already balanced as you claim he is, making M&A incompatible by adding a 24m audio cue shouldn’t be an issue, should it.
Specific killers shouldn't be restricted from using specific perks. Honestly the lullaby huntress has, in my opinion, is an outdated and bad mechanic. That being said, I think huntress is in a fine place and as I said before: if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Also as far as Trickster goes, I mean...he is the worst killer in the game by a large margin, so he probably doesn't need his lullaby either. Also, I realize this is an unpopular opinion, but there are perks for detecting stealthy killers, such as spine chill. If you dislike a slinger using something that reduces his TR then use something to counter it, such as spine chill.
-
I disagree, Slinger is one of the few balanced killers in the game. You can argue he is unfun all day and night, that is a matter of personal opinion, but he is not to strong and does not need to be made weaker. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
-
Most all of the realm beyond maps are a problem. They buffed the safety on nearly all of them and it really shows. Map rng can cuck you extremely badly, even some fair maps (old chapel) can screw you hard after the update.
-
Depends which Iron Will you are talking about? The perk just use stridor, the bug then nothing you just get fcked.
-
His playstyle has become boring and dumb, I think his extra lunge coming out of stealth needs to be toned down just a bit. It should absolutely be higher than it was before, just not this high.

Ranks are not a measure of skill. Just ignore the ranks.
The MMR isn't a measure of skill either. It's just gen squads and super slugger players. It's honestly the most unfun experience I have ever had, no chill games at all, every match is <5min this is a great reminder of why this game is absolute dog ######### at the higher levels of play.
-
I just keep getting gen squads. No one who is actually good, it's either W or M1 all game, even to the point of letting people die just to finish gens. I gotta admit it's extremely boring. I either slug everyone as fast as possible or all the gens get done in 3min no in-between.
-
This is not an accurate statement. When people see the secret offering they still tend to go extra hard on gens. Moris can theoretically help you "slightly" in some very few scenarios but it will encourage survivors to hard focus gens which is more of a detriment to you than the mori benefits you. Also altruistic survivors can be punished to help you win the game where as someone on death hook with a mori will net you no altruism which means they will instead focus again more on gens making it far harder for you to win.
In short, moris are just cosmetic, they "can" help you in a few scenarios but they also have huge down sides as well, not worth the points to buy and not worth using, it is my opinion that they do more harm to the killer than good.
