Game is survivor sided, no add ons need to be nerfed at this time.
-
Just make it so repairing a gen doesn't remove exhaustion.
-
It's just at because it's a strong perk. Survivors always hate when killers have strong perk.

From the way they designed it you’re supposed to go after the survivor with box and if you can down him you’re rewarded with massive map pressure or if you can’t do that at least you get a assured chase. I feel like Franklins and Hoarder makes getting the box too easy and takes away that hard fought reward and also make it too difficult for survivors to stop the chain hunt. I say this as a new pinhead main
LOL this dude seriously asking for a franklin's and hoarder nerf? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Yes, this literal trash tier perk, so bad that it actually helps the survivors more than the killer, should be nerfed because it (surprisingly) has synergy with ONE specific killer? Good grief man, this joke of a killer hasn't even been out more than a week and you are already asking for specific perk nerfs because they work well with him?
-
I mean about the end of the day this is all the fault of the game's balance. Survivors want decent teammates and killers want a fair chance to win. Problem is that a decent group of survivors can make even an extremely good killer sweat and struggle. At efficient play the game is wildly unbalanced and MMR just brings how unbalanced the get truly is into focus, which is probably a good thing.
-
The reason why one is a problem and the other is not is because one is a killer issue and the other a survivor issue. Fact is this dev team is, always has been and likely always will be survivor bias. Sure survivors get nerfed here and there but the vast majority of survivor "nerfs" are things that were extremely abusive and outright bullshit (such as old DS and old Object.) I mean take a look at the most recent 3 killers, the best of them was Nemi and he was MEDICORE, average to below average while the other two were doodoo levels of trash. Also how about that pallet validation? And before you say they just made it fair no they didn't, they just swapped it from being bs for survivors to being bs for killers without actually fixing anything. I could go on and on but I'll just say this: actions speak louder than words and the dev team for this game has spoken very loudly about which side they value.
-
A SBMMS in a game with no high rank balance, seems like a smart idea to me.
-
I don't need a week to figure out the stinking brown turd on the ground is in fact dog ######### and I don't need another 2 weeks to figure out this killer is trash. Pinhead sucks, the only good thing about him on the PTB was his voice lines and those are gone now. Pinhead sucks, that's all there is to it.
-
I'm sorry but for how hard he is to play he is WAY to weak. Play at nurse level of skill for clown level of strength? No, make him way easier to play or make him a top tier killer, none of this mid tier crap.
-
I mean, seriously dude? Talk about grasping at straws.
-
This only negatively effects killers so I highly doubt the devs care at all. I mean they have known for a while now that this gives survivors more FOV than they should have and yet It hasn't been fixed for years. If you want this to be fixed then find a way killers can exploit it, then the devs will take notice.

Oni and to some extent Trapper.

I like SBMM. Remember - the complainers will always outnumber the people who actually like it because people love to complain.
Don't tell that to Twitter 😂
-
I am actually top 5% of the killer base and this looks like it will be super unfun. I'll still win but I don't much care for 4 man slugging people as soon as possible. Oh well, my guess is that more and more killers will get bumped down (since they aren't actually that good at the game) and high MMR survivor ques will become quite long and undesirable. Well that is until MMR just bumps them down a tier because of que time and they just rolfstomp on a lower skilled killer.
On a side note I would really like to point this out: you guys are all aware of who is in charge of balance, right? This is the same guy who couldn't "snap out of it" vs an impossible skill check doc (that was my fault btw KEKW.) This game isn't and has never been balanced around the high ranks, I think this is going to be a cluster fck at high MMR once the weak killers have been weeded out. Games will be 5min no matter which side wins and I can see a lot of those players quitting due to that lack of balance or variety.
For lower and mid tier MMR is great and will do wonders I think, but the higher tier players are going to end up leaving. Also, the thing about playing a game is sooner or later you get better at the game and those mid tier players turn into high tier players who ultimately leave the game due to the unfun nature of high ranks; just some food for thought.

The one thing I would like is to see the Illusions on a very strict path. Maybe approach the Survivor and then disappear with Doc's little laugh. I just think it'd be really neat.
^This, I have always wanted this for Doc, no damage or nothing goofy, just scare the ######### out of survivors. They should even swing at them every now and again just to make them jump or question if it's real. Oh man that would make doc so fun to vs.

They should remove the recoil on console. I can barely hit anyone….
They should remove the recoil for everyone, it was easily the dumbest thing they did to him. A RNG factor in if your hits land on a killer meant to be aim based...
-
I feel like you have no idea what you are talking about. Confusing your own inexperience with the killer being weak is laughable at best and cringe at worst. As a hard core Oni main I can tell you he is easily top 5 even top 3 potentially (though most streamers would disagree with top 3.) A good Oni is rare sure but when you see one you will realize just how stupidity strong he actually is. No killer has the potential to end the game vs 4 healthy survivors the way Oni can. "But what if they spread out!?" Apply some pressure and force them together, also known as GITGUD.
-
A persistent survivor sided problem gets "fixed" by making it a killer sided problem. How very...BHVR of you BHVR...
-
No where nearly as bad as the small PP survivors had. At least you can break two of his perks and sometimes (most of the time) you spawn right on top of them.

If that’s the only thing you can do to support your weak argument, you already lost lol.
I think I know what I’m talking about. :)

My point about the latency wasn’t an argument about it’s balance. In fact— the thread wasn’t actually about balance in the first place. My point was that it being latency dependent, along with it’s other issues make it overrated in my eyes.
The arrogant always think they know what they are talking about. And you didn't "win" anything, you stuck your head into the sand, ingored everything people who contradicted said then claimed self said victory in an online forum? Okay man.

I don't use Dead Hard because Sprint Burst is better.
Try again buster.
The fact you think SB is better shows you have no idea what you are talking about.
-
The strongest perk in the game isn't "overrated" you just aren't using it correctly.
-
T3 should infect and damage healthy survivors, remove the sprint burst in normal infection. These are the only two changes he needs other than zombie AI fixes.
-
It does nothing to prevent tunneling and anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't play killer at all. If I want to tunnel you then I no longer care how many times anyone, including you, has been hooked, I'm tunneling you out of the game so none of that information matters, only you being dead.
-
He is a 110 ranges killer who is worse than all the other 110 ranged killers. Just play hunters or slinger, they do his job better in every way.
-
No he isn't good.
-
It's a killer issue so don't expect them to fix it ever.

Your practically saying you wanna buff Oblivious status to "Undetectable" status.
My only thing is that if you think Spine Chill shouldn't work while Oblivious, than do the same thing to Undetectable status
Oblivious is a status effect on the survivor, undetectable is a buff on the killer, while they have effects that are close in relation they serve different purposes, one is a buff the other a debuff. I personally think undetectable is fine as is, survivors have little to no control over the killer getting this buff but they do have some control over the debuff which is why I think adding it to oblivous would be okay but not undetectable.
I want the debuff to have more impact, spine chill currently counters all forms of steal be it debuffs or buffs which ruins some styles of play. I don't want spine chill nerfed I just want there to be a counter so killers can run different playstyles over the typical gen slow down crap. It's about promoting different styles of play not nerfing something.
-
Pretty sure they buffed the pallet stun hitbox sometime in the not to distant past. It's not uncommon for me to get stunned a good 3-5ft away from the pallet (im not even talking about backing up, just never getting close to it to begin with.)
-
And here we have another classic case of the "madcuzbad."
-
We really complaining about tinkerer now? Lmao. Wraith op and tinkerer op now huh, funny world we live in.
-
It's amazing how old DS was a perfect anti tunnel perk (just don't tunnel killer main, there are three other people to chase!) but now that you can't blatantly abuse it all of a sudden we need a "real" anti tunnel perk. Gtfo
-
Imagine thinking the strongest perk in the game is weak because YOU suck at using it correctly.
-
We don't hate it.
-
Nemi is the only killer I run ruin/undying on, he is great in chase (after all the dumb vaccines are finally gone) but he has absolutely no map pressure at all, pretty sure his zombies are meant to be map pressure but the are always stuck on some rock or tree or something so they never actually do anything.

I never said I considered it a win, I’m only asking if people are satisfied with a 2k if they had fun.
Then the short answer would be no.
-
Do you consider it a win if you get all the gens done but die anyway? Me neither, same thing here. 2k is at best a tie but more often than not a lose. 3k with a hatch escape is really a 4k, 3k with one escape through the gates (gens powered not bs gate spawns after closing hatch) then i consider that a really good match and a win for me and the survivor who escaped.

Eh, you should not really complain about the Pallet Spawns on Storehouse. It happens frequently that multiple Pallets are in that Spot, but therefore you have less Jungle Gyms and Long Walls and more T/L-Walls, which will benefit you.
So it is not really a big deal.
Map-RNG in general - yes, this is something that speaks against SBMM.
That is completely incorrect, the jungle gym tile spawns on that map are set, while the style may vary there is always the same amount of them regardless of how many filler pallets there are. The point of the OP's post is he is complaining that the game is getting MMR but isn't being balanced at all for high MMR levels when it is common knowledge that at high levels of play the game falls apart completely.
-
Maybe don't use map offerings that take you to a obviously bs map. RPD looks fantastic but from a gameplay standpoint it is by far the worst map in the game and that is saying a lot since a ton of maps are seriously bullshit.
-
He sucks. They need to remove his POINTLESS recoil. Seriously get rid of that #########.
-
I mean if he was just being sarcastic then no he won't get banned, being a smart ass isn't enough to be banned despite what some people would tell you. Also no offense but people really need to stop letting this crap bother them, as long as it does they will continue to do it.
-
Should I assume they removed the wall that would let them get the fast vault?
-
These two add ons are still very strong together they just aren't stupid bullshit now. This combo is still strong just not dumb busted now. Unintentional means it was a bug, changed because to strong is a nerf, this was the former.
-
Imagine needing extra FOV instead of being able to win a mind game every once in a while. KEKW

I'm just curious about people's opinions on if the killer DC. Do you think it's fine or do you hate similar to survivors who DC?
I see no difference between a killer who d/cs and a survivor who hook suicides. Both are bitches and should find a new game to play.

I knew they would ######### this up lol

The hit validation should of been a failsafe not an actual authority. If there is a discrepancy of X amount of MS then the hit is rejected, if the discrepancy is within the set parameters (the average ping variance which is about 5-50) then the server does not reject hits.

If you believe it'll get you the win, then it's okay but if you're doing just to be toxic then it isn't okay. Unless they openly admit they did it to be toxic then I'm okay with it.
