Worked with a Dwight on a gen in shack. As soon as he heard a terror radius he bolted to shack pallet and dropped it. I was speechless
-
Lery's only saving grace is the good totem spawns but it is brimming with very strong loops if the survivors know how to run them (most don't). Hawkin's is kinda neat
-
Oni has no business being as cool as he is, pyramid head is a very close second though

Oh yeah, I can see how tapping a gen for a split second is abusing the game. No one is getting more use out of the perk now. Most people have stopped running it because it's punitive now. Don't tell me what tunneling is. I have 1500 hours in this game as a solo survivor, and I'm very familiar with being tunneled. You still haven't said why my suggested change isn't fair, you're just defending the devs breaking it.
finishing a get in front of the killer was abusing ds and gen tapping is dumb and shouldn't exist
-
Red herring: shows the killer the auras of all other survivors. I need better sandbagging perks
-
Cheap trick:
Why play by the rules when you can simply cheat?
The first survivor you hook immediately loses 25/30/35% hook progression and is faced with a tremendously difficult skill check. Failing this skill check puts the survivor straight into struggle phase. Hook struggle skill check difficulty is increased to difficult
Foul play:
You never were one to play fair so why start now?
Start the trial with 1 token. You can consume one token to break an upright pallet. If a survivor dies by any means, gain a token. You break pallets 5/10/15% faster.
Hex: Deceit
A hex rooting it's power in trickery.
All hex totems look like dull totems to survivors and survivors do not receive the "cursed" notification. The aura of any survivor within 1/2/3 meters of an active hex totem is revealed to you.
-
How else am I supposed to punish the killer for doing their objective?
-
Ds needs a buff really badly. I was thinking like a stun for 80 seconds and revert the activation condition back to the first iteration of ds but remove the juggle exploit so killers can't dodge it
-
Another way to earn blood points? Sign me up
-
Tinkerer should increase gen progression for survivors. It is called tinkerer after all
-
Totem spawns are totally fine, especially the ones right out in the open. My personal favorite is the lighthouse totem on top of a hill
-
What is toxic about a round of farming? Everyone gets lots of points and it is a refreshing break from time to time. Not that I would recommend doing it, but is it toxic? No way
-
Holy emoji-pocalypse! But regarding your question they only announced cross progression for pc and switch so far
-
Blight and nurse shouldn't be able to traverse between exit gates so fast it is disgustingly oppressive how these op killers use their unfair power to their advantage
Nightmare, hag and twins also shouldn't be able to do that. I am a survivor. Like it's literally in the name. I am supposed to survive but how am I supposed to do that with all these stupid brainless killers using their powers to impede my escape? Like hello? Exit gates should be open once the killer closes the hatch so survivors stand a fair chance to escape
-
weak bait; 1/10 try harder next time
-
Better solution for 2.: just restart the game
-
Weak bait; 2/10
-
It should just apply the "doctor stun" after dead harding so dead hard into pallet drop or window vault is no longer possible
-
Perk 1: entity's favorite: your pact with the entity turns your pain into (bp) gain. While on a hook, you can press the active ability button to willingly sacrifice yourself. Doing so awards 100%/200%/300% more blood points after the trial
Perk 2: endless greed: you don't care as much about others or escaping as you do about currency so you made a pact with the entity. You gain 100%/200%/300% more blood points for all scoring events but if you perform cooperative actions, the aura of the other survivor/s is revealed to the killer within a range of 20/15/10 meters
Perk 3: bargain: if you escape the trial with an item, the item is exchanged for blood points. You get 100%/200%/300% of the item's worth in blood points (disregards add ons). If you get sacrificed while carrying an item, the entity will consume the item and offer you 50% of the item's worth in bp instead (disregards add ons)
Basically the ultimate build for farming at the expense of the team. A dream for sandbaggers
-
Swf needs an indicator in the lobby
-
You are trying way too hard with the bait. Quality over quantity maybe? 1/10 and that's me being generous
-
Pumping out low quality bait I see, you didn't even try with this one; 1/10
-
Spine chill is the obvious choice for generic perk and for teachabels I'd say either bill or meg
-
Not as good as your tinkerer bait but still good; 8/10
-
Decent bait, definitely worthy of a 7.5/10
-
@QwQw said:
You mean, you're getting mad at the killer for playing smart/effectively?
Yeah right? How dare they? Everyone knows that after hooking a survivor the killer has to traverse the entire map and stand in corner for at least 60 seconds and if the rescue occurs the killers must leave the hooked survivor enough time to heal and hide otherwise the killer is a dirty camping tunneling sweat lord
-
Incredibly weak bait, like you didn't even try; 1/10 and that's generous
-
"Hey guys we fixed haddonfield for you!"
-Behavior after adding 20 god pallets to haddonfield and updating the graphics a bit after the realm beyond update for this map
-
Oh that's some high quality bait right here; 9/10

Yeah, because a lot of people don't understand the tool tips of the game from underused perks to their opponent's perks. I try to make an effort to understand perks when I play killer, so I can try using it to my advantage. Unfortunately, a lot of people stick to a cookie cutter template and not bother to deviate from there.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2262339#Comment_2262339
Yes. A lot of the time it's whining from survivors, but these people can be serious on filing false reports and clogging up the support system. All because they got stomped in a pub match and want to ruin their opponent's gameplay experience in return. This type of behavior is against the rules and shouldn't be tolerated, especially when Behaviour starts on an automated system.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2262572#Comment_2262572
Exactly. If I was targeting [x] for several games in a row because of a specific reason, then it can be considered a violation. Yet, I avoided doing that for the sake of not ruining people's games. I even dodged lobbies if I encountered them a bit too often.
This is why I believe clarification of the rules should be done in text form and altogether in one document. (Not the current mess of several documents.) People assume facecamping and Insidious camping is bannable under the griefing or harassment tabs.
In regards to false reports the game rules state:
Abuse of support services
This includes making false support tickets and lying to support agents. Our agents are always here to help the community. However, those making false tickets just to get a step ahead of everyone else and take advantage hinders our ability to better help everyone. Penalties include suspension of your support services, up to a permanent ban of your in-game account.
So I really hope that all the survivors that spam the report system with their complaints about camping and tunneling will get a wake up call
-
@MadLordJack said:
Gonna be honest, things like Basement Bubba are exactly what needs to be punished, so... Not exactly complaining, you are actively trying to ruin other people's trials. That sort of thing is absolutely bannable in other games under the term "griefing".
It isn't because griefing is defined as "Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience". This is taken directly from the game rules. Emphasis is on "repeatedly" and "specific"
-
I literally don't care if a survivor dcs. All it does is give me an easy match where I can farm points. Why would I not take those free bp?
-
Anything to cut down the grind would be greatly appreciated at this point so I think it is a good idea

Deathslinger would still have some advantages over her, such as not needing a locker to reload, and not having to prep his weapon.
The reason Trickster is worse is because he has the slowest TTK of the two, is most vulnerable to LoS blockers, takes way longer than Deathslinger to prep and stow his weapon and has way smaller hitboxes than Huntress.
It's basically the worst of Deathslinger and Huntress combined into one.
I know I was just poking fun at the people complaining about perks that have synergy with a killer power and immediately want that synergy removed for their convenience. In all seriousness deathslinger does not need that nerf just because he has a decent interaction with a perk that is doodoo on many other killers
-
Oni so he can show me his giant kanabo
or plague because she is pretty...sick (please laugh)
-
TLDR "I want deathslinger to be a worse huntress (aka trickster)"
-
I would argue agains Lery's since it is the only map where hexes live longer than 20 seconds. Have you played on the new Gideon meat plant? It has only god pallets and lots of them, so I'd say it's worse than Lery's. But yeah haddonfield is definitely number one
-
Make base FoV 100°. But apparently that would break the game completely
Oh and also rework all of pyramid head's add ons except the range add ons

That would be a great idea for the ultra rares!
Ultra rares need to do more. I was thinking like forcing the killer to move to the exit gate and just stand there. Also doing an ultra rare dance in front of the killer removes all blood points the killer earned during the trial multiplies them by 10 and awards them to the survivor
-
This would only be okay if the dances are accompanied by a light show and fireworks and a massive "suck it baby killer!" banner over the exit gate
-
I am experiencing the exact opposite. Both as survivor and as killer (mind you I don't even have all "meta" perks unlocked) I get matched with people who have full meta load outs and I then proceed to get curb stomped really hard. Granted my sample size is only 5 games each but as a killer I was struggling to even secure a 1k and as survivor (I'm solo if you're curious) we were never even able to get all gens done. I was excited for MMR but now I am kinda disappointed. Or maybe I should be honored because the game thinks I am this god at dbd to give me these matchups
-
I look like a mixture of plague, blight and oni: a tall, festering pile of garbage with bad posture and a face that looks like it made forceful contact with a brick wall multiple times
-
Tinkerer is way too oppressive like all killer perks. They reward braindead play from the killer's side and inhibit survivor gameplay resulting in a free win for the killer. This is disgusting and should not be a thing. Killer perks are supposed to be useless or maybe a minor inconvenience for the survivor but the devs don't care. What's next? A perk where the killer presses a button and all survivors are dead? Wouldn't surprise me
-
It already exists and is currently known under the name "hook suicide". If anything killers need a forfeit option to escape bully squads
-
Think about how absolutely broken it would be to see someone crouching in front of you! Stealth would be completely useless against such an overpowered change! The balance of the game would be destroyed beyond repair!
-
Borrowed time should simply make you and the unhooked invincible for the rest of the trial tbh
-
If survivor has faster queues: Pick survivor and hide in basement all game and die via end game collapse
If killer has faster queues: pick wraith and find a nice corner to stand in or chase them around while never uncloaking so they can't report you for afking because you technically played the game
-
We need to go even further beyond and demand the first iteration of ds back. That one was what every survivor perk should be
-
while I appreciate your hustle to replace sluzzy as the top troll of the forums your bait is severely lacking in finesse and subtlety; still a 5/10 because at least you tried
-
a classic case of getting behavior'd
