  • I hope they lose the license so RPD can get the Hawkins treatment.

  • Yes, this is exactly what is alienating the playerbase...

  • Solo Survivor probably.

Killer isnt easy but you can always trick the grades, you can have several very very low MMR Killers and use them to rank against very inexperienced Survivors once you reach the grades where you can lose pips.

  • Predator is worse, its the only perk that directly helps the Survivors for it makes vertical scratch marks less likely to appear.

Some other perks are useless or rarely give any value but at least they dont help the other team.

  • While I understand the actors being a bit disapointed they also have to understand royalties and licenses legal red tape, having expensive original actors dubbing some "ouch" "aw" and breathing sounds its a bit of a waste.

You can't be serious. This is like people in Overwatch saying "if we get a battle pass the money will go to new heroes!".

Of course it won't. It goes toward buying Bobby Kotick a seventh yacht. Extra money gets burned via executive bonuses. Behavior Interactive is a huge, extremely profitable company. No amount of money is gonna change how they operate, it's simply not a priority.

While you are right on this there is also another aspect, if Bobby Kotick doesnt get his new yacht by sales he may decide to slash the budget and get his yacht by saving money on development, more money may not go towards development (Im almost sure it wont) but may stop the suits from screwing with development. This actually happened on my company, we had a weak year, shareholders got the same money and suits their bonuses, the only thing that changed is the next year we had half the budget for maintenance and repairs and half the money for temporal workers to subsitute people getting ill (so if someone become ill for months the company didnt hire someone and we had to do overtime for wathever time the guy was out of work).

  • Health and bugfixing chapter.

  • It was nice for BP farming, main problem as with a lot of other events is I now have a ton of envelopes cluttering the inventory, I wish the offerings either dissappeared or available even if the event ends.

  • Depends a lot on the map, open maps with low walls are hell against him, closed maps or maps with a ton of high walls are a cakewalk.

In any case sprinting away the very moment you see him heading towards you hurts him a lot.

    Sorry this is also incorrect.

The killer blocking a survivor in a corner is a hostage situation regardless if the other 3 survivors are able to work on generators. The survivor that is being blocked cannot do anything to progress the game (this is of course as long as EGC has not yet started). It is completely irrespective of the other survivors being alive.

The blocked survivor is being held hostage, cannot die without being hit by the killer, cannot work on generators - can do absolutely nothing in that situation therefore it is a hostage situation and completely against the game rules.

Weird, I remember reading somewhere since the game could be finished by the other remaining people it wasnt considered hostage for that person would eventually die from EGC once all gens were fixed, I think it was in a thread related to the dead end room on the Saloon where some person caught 2/3 people and one remained outside, I remember reading it wasnt hostage because the remaining one outside could finish the game by himself and activate the EGC killing the trapped people and ending the game albeit slowly.

But I may remember that thread wrong, it was more than a year ago.

But recently dev just banned people who body blocked survivors before EGC though, you can keep yelling "you are wrong" but that does mean nothing.

I wonder if you have done something like that yourself, because that is the only real reason I can think of for you keep insisting it as "not reportable"?

Blocked how? blocking every remaining Survivor in a room and not downing them is a banable offense, you could do that in the Saloon, thats holding the game hostage because Survivors cant progress the generators and the only way for them to get out of the game is by disconecting.

I need more data and also I need some kind of proof that people got banned for body blocking in a non-hostage situation.

Killer's objective is hooks and not bleeding out though, so yes, you just proven this IS holding the game hostage.

You are wrong, hostage situations are situations where the game will only end by the hostages by a disconect, bleeding out takes more time but the Survivor will die eventually.

BHVR has already said that any situation where the game progresses albeit slowly is not a hostage situation and its not reportable, spin it the way you want, bleeding 4 people is not holding the game hostage and its not reportable.

It is clearly holding the game hostage, what's the point in calling it otherwise.

Technically hiding in lockers for very very long time while avoiding crows can also end, but that will be considered holding game hostage, it's no different for that situation.

You are wrong, holding the game hostage is a situation when one side cant progress their objective no matter what, like blocking the last remaining Survivors in the one way in room in the Saloon (without downing them) or blocking the last remaining Survivors in The Game corridor.

If someone can bleed its not a hostage situation, if someone can be downed even if he hides out of spite the Killer can still find them, if you trap 3 people and the last one is outside of the room and can finish generators and open a door isnt a hostage situation either.

Hostage situations are only when one side cant progress their objective by any mean and the only solution is to disconect, if the objective can progress its not hostage situation, it may be a childish and petty situation, 2 last Survivors hiding and locker switching is childish but the Killer can still find them and finish the game.

Esentially, hostage situations are situations where the only way to get out of them are with a disconect.

Bleeding out is just another way to kill, like mori and third hook.

If you hook, it will activate DS and BT, which is quite problematic when your goal is to kill someone.

Best way to secure a kill for any killers, is bleeding out. this is objective fact and you can't deny it.

Actually best way to secure a kill is to facecamp with Leatherface, in any case if he wanted to secure a kill with bleed he would have bleed her out from the start not after picking her, seeing the Boil Over and then dropping, he was being petty and childish because he got mad after seeing Boil Over.

I´m pretty sure that me, just standing there and continuosly hitting them when they get up after 20 seconds, would cound as holding the game hostage.

That blight was just annoyed to find this perk for the 10th time of the day.

No, it doesnt count as holding the game hostage for it can end albeit very very slowly, if doing that counts as holding the game hostage it also counts for the Survivors for they can chose to stop getting up.

Being annoyed doesnt justify pettiness to that extent.

So it's ok to run a perk you want to run, but it ain't ok for a killer to use a tactic you don't like? They are one in the same

Its different, bleeding her out in that situation wasnt necessary, Im ok with people bleeding on RPD or Disturbed Ward (for some reason you cant get down the main building without Boil Over activating even if you se the stairs) but in OPs situation he could have hooked her which also is the best course of action for hooks work twice as fast than bleeding. If he resorted to the less efficient way of dealing with that was out of pettiness and because he wanted to punish OP for using a perk he didnt like.

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2784668#Comment_2784668

No bleeding out, because they could get up an infinite amount of time due to Soul Guard.

Yesterday i had also a match on disturbed ward, where a survivor with Boil Out always ran to the top floor. Knowing full well that i couldn´t reach a hook from there. Even being the last survivor and with the EGC being active, he refused to run somewhere else than the top floor.

Survivors are abusing this perk and now they don´t like how the killer comunity reacts to it.

You can still bleed them out even if it takes a lot of time.

But your case doesnt really relate to OPs case, you couldnt hook them so your only option is to bleed them, I dont think anyone will call you petty for doing that, you had no option, hell Ive bleed people out in RPD too because of that, nobody tossed me salt for that.

On the other hand that Blight on the video could clearly hook OP and he didnt need to bleed her out, he did it out of spite and pettiness which is wrong.

  • @fulltonon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2784539#Comment_2784539

Did you know hooking survivors are biggest objective in this game.

Yeah but that post is technically right, killswitch is a last option measure to disable things that crash the game, make it unplayable or result in hostage situations. Boil Over on RPD while being extremely lame and abusable doesnt stop the game from being played.

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/308290/this-is-just-childish

Had a match against a SWF on RPD with Sould Guard. 2 of them always ran up to the same spot, from where i couldn´t reach the hook. Slugging was useless, since a hex was active. One of the other players disconnected and the last survivor was the only one doing gens.

So, in your opinion. What is the killer supposed to do in this situation?

In your situation? bleed them out.

But in the video OP posted? he could have hooked her easily, OP is right, this is just childish, that Blight was petty beyond reason and it does put some light on a problem with Survivor perks, you use meta "META SURVIVOR ALL SAME PERKS NERFNERFNERFNERF", they change a perk "HOW YOU DARE CHANGE [PERK] AND SHAKE META, IM GONNA CAMP AND BM ANYONE WHO USES [PERK] FROM NOW ON!!".

  • I honestly dont know but I welcome any nerf to them, lets go for less than 1% pickrate.

I wish they just killswitched them until a full rework, but if thats not possible making them hell to play as will have to do.

Oni is normal 115% m/s killer. he doesn't need his ability to play the game. His ability empowers him to be more effective. Trickster is 110% m/s, he is worse than basic m1 killer and as such, he requires his ability to be effective. Your statement is overgeneralizing his ability. I could same statement that huntress is look at someone and throw hatchets but that is not indicative of her skill-cap. A new player that has poor aim will not be downing survivors with knifes. Instead, they'll miss a lot and have to reload. FPS skills is not natural talent that many players are good at. Tracking skill in particular is not to be underestimated. When MMR wasn't in the game, sometimes as survivor, you would face these baby tricksters when the game had rank resets. They're as hopeless as new nurse player hence why trickster's kill-rate is among lowest in the game. As peanut said, it doesn't mean that nurse and trickster are worst 2 killers in the game. it just means that they're harder to pick-up and play well on average lvl.

Your post is exactly proving my point that deciding difficult rating for killer is difficult. your saying trickster is easy and I'm saying he is hard for average new player because most new players generally are not talented at tracking skill/flick shot skill without extensive practice.

You are not understanding me, the Difficulty parameters are related to how easy/hard the power and the perks are to use, the simplest the power the easiest it is, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW EASY IT IS TO GET 4K.

A new player with poor aim will be landing knives because its a continous stream of them, missing 3 or 4 its not a problem, he doesnt stop, you dont need to re-aim, actually the more you miss the easier it becomes to land for he tosses them faster and becomes more accurate, with Huntress you have to raise, aim, if you miss you have to re-raise and aim again and you have only 5 attempts, plus the speed of the proyectile changes depending on how long you raised the hatchet, is way harder to play her than Trickster, even if she is stronger.

Also you are mixing baby tricksters after a rank reset, any newcomer is going to struggle against seasoned players, period, the "difficulty" thing assumes newcomers face newcomers but then again, 4k has nothing to do with the difficulty on the profiles.

You keep using the kill rate as a metric for the difficulty which I repeat, ITS NOT RELATED, difficulty only measures how hard to use and understand the power and the perks are, ITS NOT RELATED TO STRENGTH OF THE KILLER OR HOW IT PERFORMS AT HIGH RANKS JUST HOW EASY IT IS TO UNDERSTAND.

I know the Easy/Intermediate/Hard is busted, nowhere in my post I said it was accurate I was clarifying they are related to ease of use and not perceived strength like some people tought, a lot of the difficulty settings are from release and they didnt change with the Killers getting changed, even Freddy remained as hard (he was actually quite hard to play in its original iteration and confusing to understand) when now its super simple after the rework.

  • @Devil_hit11 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2783139#Comment_2783139

what are you talking about? Trickster has 2nd lowest kill-rate in the entire game. I repeat, he has 2nd lowest kill-rate in the game behind nurse. Basically, if nurse didn't exist, he would literally be lowest kill-rate killer entire game. Its not hard to even see why.

In other FPS games that have tracking as a skill, The time to kill is very low. you can go to cs-go, overwatch, call of duty, heck even halo infinity and in all of these games have one thing in common. your health pool is not very high therefore when wielding a smg-automatic type weapon, you only need track for < 3 seconds, so a lot of tracking skill and flick aim ends up being quite similar in those games from time to kill.

With trickster, his time to kill is considerably higher because he needs 12 knifes to down. 12 knifes to down at least compare traditional fps games is eternity so realistically, trickster spends more time aiming than huntress. its why many people joke about trickster being bootleg huntress that needs land 12 tiny hatchets to down. Tricksters that have bad aim are awful and end up being as bad baby nurses. he has high skill-floor with similar skill-ceiling as huntress with slightly lower pay-off(power-level in my opinion).

If he was so easy, he'd be higher or about same kill-rate as huntress.

difficulty rating are hard to comprehend because its entirely subjective on skill-floor, skill-cieling and power-level. the greatest analogy I can give is mountain.

Power-level is how high mountain goes. Its how much reward/pay off you get when you master a character.

Skill-floor is how high you start on mountain. its often labeled as entry-level of the character.

Skill-ceiling is how hard it is to climb mountain and how much time it takes to get to the peak level of that character. It is how much you have to learn.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/1QFA0WPFABNF/image.png

Its hard to rate difficulty of a character because what is low or high is subjective to each player like with trickster. some player might think he is easy but globally, stats suggests otherwise that he is not that easy pick-up and most player struggle to perform average on him.

Im talking about the "easy/intermediate/hard" parameter on each Killer ingame profile being related to how easy they are to use and play and not how strong they are, THOSE ARE DIFFERENT THINGS.

Trickster is literally look at someone and spam knives, he is super easy to use unlike Oni who needs practice to use his power properly, a new player is going to have a much easier time looking at someone and tossing knives than trying to land a Demon Dash, a Hillbilly saw or a Huntress hatchet.

All that wall of text about power levels, skill ceilings, kill ratings etc is meaningless around the difficulty OF USE NOT PERFORMING STRENGTH.

  • No, but maybe some perks should have "seeing the scourge hooks" as a side effect like maybe Saboteur and Detective's Hunch.

  • @AlkaloidssOP said:

Some of the difficulty rankings are really questionable. Like Huntress and Trickster. All Huntress does iis throw hatchets - you hit, you injure the survivor. She is considered intermediate. Trickster on the other hand has to stack his hits with the Laceration meter, that decreases over time and has to plan around building up and using Main event. And he only has Main event available for 30 seconds. Yet he is considered easy.

    What the hell, right?

Easy/Intermediate/Hard is not related to their strength, its related to how easy they are to play (this applies to Survivors, how easy they are to play their perks, for example Ace's perks are all pasive bonuses, they are easy to use even if useless).

Huntress is harder than Trickster because landing a hatchet is way way harder than landing the knives, with Huntress you have to aim, with Trickster you can just spam the knives and eventually enough of them will land, a newcomer will have a much easier time with Trickster than with Huntress.

  • A full rework, their power revolves about the worst aspect of this game, slugging and camping. If they make them better Survivors will just DC or suicide on hook, they make them any worse nobody plays them (thank god).

    This person gets it.

  • Stealth Killers didnt get that hurt from CoH, if you play stealth either you get an instadown or a free first hit, usually there is no point on leaving whoever you got damaged with the free hit and chase someone else, what for? you got spotted and everyone is on the run, if you chase the injured one you may get a down quite fast, if you go after someone else you may lose 100 seconds.

I main Myers and Jigsaw and I rarely spread damage because its just not worth it, not before CoH nor after it.

  • Legion, their main power is spreading damage, CoH main thing is making spread damage strats much less effective.

I don't think that's really a bug, at least not a new one or one that is ever going to be fixed. That's how it's worked for BL as long as I can remember. You can activate Balanced landing from falling 2 feet off a rock on a hill, or falling half a foot off the side of a tractor. It will often count even the smallest fall as "great height" but it's super inconsistent. Which is why adding it to this perk was terrible because the killer cannot even know if where he's going to drop from will trigger the buffed effect, because the effect is so incredibly inconsistent. So you have to play as if any height, no matter how small, will trigger it. I knew that would be an issue because it happens with BL all the time.

This is assuming it does work just like triggering balanced landing, which it seems to. And if people are burning offerings solely to trap you in a game where they can grief you, and you are fairly certain that's what they're going to do when you see that burned offering, you should just DC in loading. You shouldn't feel obligated to get bullied and maybe people will reconsider burning such offerings to troll when it results in them just getting kicked back to the main menu every time.

Balanced Landing doesnt work like that, it doesnt activate when going down stairs, I said I didnt drop from any distance at all, I used the stairs from the first step to the last and I didnt notice any weird camera bounce the whole time I was carrying the Survivor yet they wiggled in 8 seconds instead of ~16 so the perk activated twice, it looked like it activated from using stairs with a certain slope not from falling from any height.

Also Balanced Landing doesnt activate from small bumps, you need a minimum fall distance for it to activate its not much but there are small drops where it wont activate, you can tell the trigger condition if you fall from a height and stagger when reaching the ground, if you drop from a small bump and you dont stagger Balanced Landing doesnt activate.

Usually in Western Europe queues are instant for Survivors and very long for Killer at morning, extremely similar for both from 16:00 and 22:00 (maybe between 15 and 30 seconds) and long for Survivor and instant for Killers after 22:00.

I get you are trying to defend the devs somehow, but at least you could do it in a more constructive way.

Hypocrisy means "saying one thing but thinking/believing something entirely different", Im going to jump the wagon and tell you are not using that word right.

  • After seeing the new Boil Over in action and how it interacts with certain stairs in certain maps Im inclined to believe the killswitch is more related to Boil Over than the map being reworked (which it is by the way).

  • I believe Boil Over is bugged, I downed someone at the top of the asylum on Crotus Penn and taking all flights of stairs I wasnt able to hook the person even doing it several times, Im 100% SURE I didnt drop from any distance and used the stairs always but the Survivor wiggled out rather fast like he had 2 instances of the perk activating, also the person using Boil Over burned a Crotus Penn offering, he knew what he was doing.

My guess is there is some bug with fall detection that makes the perk activate at normal stairs.

  • Gotta love power-trip fueled posts.

quickscoping has counterplay like how nurse has counterplay, it’s more if the killer makes a mistake they are heavily punished

You cant compare Nurse to anything at all, Nurse is a Killer who bypasses every mechanic in this game except jukes, its like they got a character from a different game and inserted her into the game without any changes at all, I dont think anything like Nurse would be released today she is a relic from a very VERY different time.

Deathslinger misses are not very punishing unless you miss many in a row, you miss one or two you are good to go, you miss 6 in the same chase and yes, you are toasted but thats like missing 5 axes with Huntress or vomiting all 44 Trickster knives and getting only 1 health state, there has to be a point where the mistakes pile up and cost you the chase or even the game. Quickscoping lacked counterplay and a real punishment unless you were very bad and missed a lot of shots.

Its true they didnt fix any of his many weakness like lack of pressure, tracking and efficiendy but quickscoping had to go.

  • Well the Saw tome was never about buffing or revamping her in any way, same as they rarely change any other characters in their tomes except for Doctor, and he was the exception not the norm.

  • You dont, looping tiles are afar from eachother except a few exceptions and there arent many pallets, your best option is to hold W and pray you are not facing a Killer with a "I dont care about W" power like Blight or Nurse.

  • If I remember it right a few months ago they said there was a 15% discrepancy between Solo and SWF escape/kill rate, I wonder how that discrepancy translates into this info.

"BHVR released them in that state because they had to release something, its just they didnt have enough crunch time to fix all the bugs"

    X to doubt

"plus the problem with them is not bugs, its how campy and sluggy their playstyle is, they created a monster."

So, again, if they're so clever as to keep nerfing Twins to avoid a Keter-class death-of-the-game scenario, why did they release them with such unhealthy fundamental flaws?

"in any case they nerfing the best performing addons at high MMR does help my claim, if word of those addons being very strong spreads it may entice some people to play Twins more, which is what I believe they dont want."

[Twins' play rate has been extraordinarily low even though they've been in the game for a year and everyone knows how they work and what their addons do]

    X TO DOUBT

"IN AN HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION if they were to become meta and picked a lot it would kill the game because they are awful to play against and the best way to avoid that HYPOTETHICAL SITUATION is to nerf them to the ground."

Fun and unfun is subjective, but if you ask me, there are far more frustrating things for Survivors to go against than a Killer whose kit forces them to slug and camp most of the time, a lot of which are far more prevalent in games. Including, but not limited to:

    -Zoning Killers

-Killers who slug and camp not because they have to, but because they want to

-Zoning Killers who slug and camp not because they have to, but because they want to

Like, I get it, Twins camps and slugs a lot. But Killers have been camping and slugging since the game came out. It's not like Twins invented the strat and it's not like the strat wasn't strong and prevalent before, during, and after Twins' release. Frankly, if slugging and camping is what makes Twins unfun, then they're one of the least offensive Killers in this game, all things considered. I'd rather get slugged and camped by a Killer who doesn't shut down loops for free than a Killer who does. Hell, I'm at a point where I LIKE going against Twins now because in my head I'm thinking, "Phew, at least it's not another zoning Killer."

First of all seeing how many MANY bugs the Twins patch had at release either they didnt have enough time to fix them before release or there was something weird going at the studio like the entire team getting COVID or a strike or something else because the amount of bugs and overlooked stuff wasnt normal, even for them, I worked as software developer and deadlines are very very strict, usually before releasing a patch or a software tool people have to do a ton of overtime to get it right and even with all that overtime is usually not enough, sadly this is a common thing in software developing companies, especially in game developing where deadlines are vital (nobody cares if Windows wathever releases 2 months later but a game getting delayed 2 months? thats a disaster).

In any case Twins main problem wasnt the bugs, but how sluggy they turned to be, the amount of bugs is just a sign they needed to put more work on them before being release.

if they're so clever as to keep nerfing Twins to avoid a Keter-class death-of-the-game scenario, why did they release them with such unhealthy fundamental flaws?

Because its not the first time they have an idea, release it and the comunity finds something else (usually more efficient and unfun) with that idea, you have a ton of examples of this, Pyramid Head being able to see his cages+no DS+no BT turned him into the best camper its just one example and Im sure they didnt expect Twins to turn into the insane slugging experience they are now, there is no way they designed the Killer with such gameplay in mind, same as I dont think they had in mind Charlotte perma body blocking Hexes at release while dormant or Lockers making you completely inmune to Victor (both tings had to be changed).

I can give more examples of "creative" gameplay strategies the community had and BHVR had to nerf or rework because they overlooked them, for both sides like old Odd Bulbs, mass old Soul Guard, Deathslinger free zoning, Legion Moonwalking and a long etc, all those have in common being extremely unfun things that got overlooked by BHVR, same as Twins being such mass sluggers.

But Twins needs an entire rework, the whole gameplay design is flawed, its not like Odd Bulbs which got fixed by tweaking the numbers or Soul Guard with a CD, you cant fix Twins with small tweaks to CDs, stuns and the likes, they need the Freddy treatment.

[Twins' play rate has been extraordinarily low even though they've been in the game for a year and everyone knows how they work and what their addons do]

Because they are awful and they must stay awful until they are reworked lest people start playing them, any time something starts to get momentum it will be nerfed.

"Fun and unfun is subjective"... yes and no, it is subjective but in a game that revolves around fixing gens and being chased staying slugged for half of the game waiting to get picked up only to be slugged again by a goblin at match speed 3 is not very fun, people dont get into this game to experience that, Twins is consistently the only Killer I see where people DC or suicide on first hook in a lot of trials, I dont see any other Killer getting as many DCs and suicides as I see against them, its very obvious people despise playing against them.

About the 3 things you put as example, sure camping is annoying and they are already working on something to curb it a bit too, the diference is camping lasts for 2 minutes while getting slugged lasts for 4 minutes not counting when you get picked up and downed again in less than 30 seconds, people complain about camping because it takes away the posibility of playing for 2 minutes, slugging does the same for double the time, zoning can be annoying but at least a lot of times there are counterplays and it doesnt deprive you of playing the game, other sluggers sure are annoying, especially the ones who do it to troll but at least they are excedingly rare unlike getting that from Twins.

X to doubt all you want, the fact is Twins is universally hated and for some reason BHVR just keeps nerfing and nerfing them, even some of the nerfs are directed to make them clunkier to play as increasing the time it takes to switch from one to the other, it looks like they dont want people playing them that much.

Let's be honest with ourselves here, man: If BHVR were half that clever, they wouldn't have released Twins in such a garbage state to begin with. Plus, if you watched the QnA, you'd know that how fun they are to play against has nothing to do with why they were nerfed. They nerfed them because the stats said they were OP and no other reason. Fun factor was not, well, a factor. Which further disproves your claim.

That's not even including the fact that Twins is most definitely NOT the reason that DBD has been bleeding players since like September anyways. So even if that were the reason they nerfed Twins, it's not working.

BHVR released them in that state because they had to release something, its just they didnt have enough crunch time to fix all the bugs plus the problem with them is not bugs, its how campy and sluggy their playstyle is, they created a monster. One problem BHVR has is they have something in mind and its awesome but they dont really see the thing from all angles, I dont think they expected players to mass slug to such degree, this is a rather common ocurrence (PH blocking cages and being able to see the auras and rush to camp or Deathslinger zoning for free with raise/low aim are examples of how the comunity finds stuff BHVR overlooks).

What they say in the QA may or may not be true or they may be sharing only part of the info, and in any case they nerfing the best performing addons at high MMR does help my claim, if word of those addons being very strong spreads it may entice some people to play Twins more, which is what I believe they dont want.

Im not saying the game is bleeding players because of Twins, nowhere in my post says that, what I did say is IN AN HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION if they were to become meta and picked a lot it would kill the game because they are awful to play against and the best way to avoid that HYPOTETHICAL SITUATION is to nerf them to the ground.

  • I consider all Twins nerfs a containment measure, they made something thats disgusting to play against and nobody likes (not even a lot of Killer mains like how sluggy they are) and I believe if they were to become meta and picked a lot (like 10-15 pick rate) the game would die and fast.

To avoid that until the rework they have to make sure they are incredible clunky, weak and boring to play as posible so almost nobody picks them, whenever you see a Twins nerf is not "BHVR HATES KILLERS!!" its more of a "If this abomination gets momentum it could kill the game".

Imo they should just killswitch them until the rework, I believe its the less annoying solution.

Alrighty, folks. I've never really properly tried to grind the Rift (the closest was to get 2/3) pieces of the Pink Elephant costum). Anyone got any tips on how to grind it as efficiently as possible to get whatever cosmetics are up for grabs?

The rift grind was masively reduced, as long as you finish the challenges for both sides and play on a regular basis you should be able to finish way before the rift closes.

  • Extremely busted, it should be changed.

I reported this guy almost 5 months ago and I still haven't received a response. Only the Dwight was cheating, the others didn't know and they were cool about it. I included this video and another longer video and I have yet to receive a response.

I think I had that cheating Dwight once while playing Solo, the modus operandi rings a bell.

If he is who I think he is he told me in post game chat he got banned a ton of times but he just comes back again and again.

  • It was like this before, it was a waste of time for both the Killer and the Survivor on hook, lets not revert the change.
