    I said it before.

    I'll say it again.

If Behvr had their way, you'd have to hit a skill check to wipe your ass after taking a #########.

    *Misses toilet skill check*

    *Loud noise explosion and scream*

  • I think they just can't handle how awesome you are as a player.

    Keep it up champ.

This would make a good chase theme for the Pig. I was originally going to post this as a joke but the more I think about it...it's perfect.

I think if they release that cosmetic where you can see the Pig's face, and if she's pretty, that's going to be a popular skin.

  • That sounds cool!

Personally fog whisperers drive me nuts. They're never on gens. They all play a reagent offering and go around sprinting from fog particle to fog particle whispering to them. It's clearly compulsory.

Like what are they even whispering? Is it some source of nourishment?

The fog is a mysterious place.

  • Demogorgon is so much fun. I enjoy playing him when I can.

I hope the community of Demogorgons grows bigger and bigger!

  • My killers are all either turbo gross (Plague with the maggot skin) or pretty cool lookin'.

I like to roleplay and it just feels better if I've got some blood or something else dripping. The Entity compels me, and my original outfit gets sundered as the trials wear on. The slasher puts on materials he or she finds and continues the hunt.

  • Sounds like you need to face my No Mither/Self Care/Bot Knowledge/Object of Obsession build.

    Birds are singing...flowers are blooming...

  • I think survivors should get an ability when they're slugged. The bleeding sled.

If two seconds elapse before getting picked up the survivor can rip themselves and cause a gush of blood that they can slide away on. Pair it with Tenacity and off they go like a little penguin.

ive played for 1 year almost exactly and im devotion 6, i feel like a no lifer now 😅

Haha, if it makes you feel better, Devotion is pretty new so it only recently started tracking your playtime for iri shards. Back when I was hardcore the game was peer to peer and PC only. I wasn't smart enough to go for Legacy though. Only beeg regret.

  • Five years + of playing, and I'm at Devotion 4. That makes you feel better, right?

  • I really think they should change that. Let the hooks stick in the survivor for the duration of the puzzle box channel, that'd be fine but right now it's pretty un-intuitive.

Oh! That box is yellow! I should go grab it and stop the chain hunt!

Okay let me solv- let me solve i- let me-

    Pinhead: THE BOX

    Oh okay.

  • I would pay 10 dollars every trial to market garden a dead by daylight survivor.

  • HighMMR.png

Hey guys I'll be your team member this round. I'm feeling lucky.

  • In a game about control and pressure, your ability is RNG and your Ambush/sneak slows you down. Outside of that you play like a normal 115% killer.

To me that sounds like pig needs a nerf, I dunno about you guys.

  • Tacticalforumboop.png

At the end of every pig match every survivor should gather around to give boops to your slasher as a thank you for the match. It's the right thing to do.

  • I haven't had the (mis)fortune of playing Trapper on Crow map but from playing it as a survivor I know 90% of my traps would go in the main building or around it.

This isn't ideal because most of the generators are outside of my area of control but it's one of those things where you'll probably have to already have a survivor in a chase to snag them.

  • 6RIbzsS.jpeg

Snipin's a good job mate. Challenging work. Out of doors. Guarantee you'll not go hungry. 'Cause at the end of the day as long as there are two people left on the map. You're gonna want them dead.

You've just gotta get out your kukri and smack'em in melee. Crows are good for marking your target but beyond that, be polite. Be efficient. Have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Sometimes in a loop a good hip shot does just as well in the outback. It's your caw at the end of the day.

  • I love boon totems on Oni, especially Circle of Healing. All the survivors go to it which means they're depositing all the blood in one spot. Make a mental note of where the totem is and collect blood when needed.

Boon totem more like blood bank lol lmao

  • Your character fat.

A more serious answer is try rebinding your controls. For a while I had the game do a normal vault instead of a running vault until I switched some keys around. That might help you out if you've tried other things to no avail.

  • I think he's "I swear to god if a chain interrupts me while I'm trying to cleanse ruin again I'm going to shove that box somewhere unfortunate" tier.

He's just a normal killer in a chase most of the time, but with a tendency to run Franklin's and those chains he's a pain in the butt. Is he supposed to be? Yeah sure but...ugh.

  • I agree. Pig nerfs are always a good time.

I'd give the pig vault traps that lock around the survivor's legs when they vault and they have to solve a puzzle to get free. This would be an add on similar to Freddy's fake pallets.

Time to loop the pig! Oops, unfortunate place for a trap to snap~

  • I'm a Trapper main!

A lot of it is knowing where to place your traps on the fly. I'll echo Corrupt Intervention or Ruin/Discordance. You're going to need that slowdown if your traps aren't utilized properly (which they won't until you get experienced on your placement).

My go to for Trapper when I'm tryharding is Corrupt/Discordance/A Nurse's Calling/(Flex Perk depends on my mood. Right now my flex is Zanshin Tactics)

Sometimes I run with zero cosmetics to get survivors to let their guard down, which is nasty when you've played as long as I have.

I learned a lot of my Trapper skills early on by playing Dwight with Bond. I'd watch where survivors run and eventually you start to notice commonly taken paths that you might not think of while playing killer. Then I'd place traps there as Trapper and judge the effectiveness of the area.

BHVR is kinda being mean and "updating maps for enjoyment" and making survivors move differently but that's okay. It's all a learning process.

I will say my favorite spots are the grass areas in the corner of the shack and a little diagonal from the pig head on the game (where survivors drop down) and diagonal from the chair in the Dead Dawg Saloon where survivors drop down from the window near the generator. I'd avoid breaking walls so survivors have less options on where to run as well. Surefire escapes can become a death sentence with a well placed trap.

If you get someone in the basement I'd avoid putting down 100 traps. Just two or three at the doors and window is normally enough, then just go hunt and return when you hear someone snap a trap. They really should make a perk that stops that sound explosion from going off.

All in all, the biggest buff Trapper ever got was the release of new killers. Not a lot of people know how to deal with Trapper anymore. Use it to your advantage.

  • A lot of American/English/Aussie culture is banter. That's just our culture. It's also kind of odd to expect cordial conversation when you've played in a way other plays don't necessarily enjoy. If you're gonna play like that you probably want to close the chat.

  • You'll find a lot of adults that cannot ever utter the words 'I was wrong' or 'I'm sorry'. I wouldn't give a pass on age but to answer the question, make fun of him. You don't have to kill the dude but a little booli can make a big difference for these types. You're doing it for the greater good.

Alternatively have him play the other side, or make a private lobby and claim hacks every time he does anything and everything. Pick up the phone and scream 'HAAAAACKS' the hang up. There are many options. Pick your favorite.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVz1VVWcF5U

I recognize that younger people won't get the reference in the second sentence. Dr. Hax is an ancient meme that everyone loved because your friend is very common and unoriginal.

  • I only talk if someone says something in end game chat, and I'll stay for about a minute while the tally screen rolls through.

I'm happy when people say thanks when I give them the hatch. It makes me want to give the hatch to the next group straggler too.

You probably made that killer smile, so don't worry about it.

  • Hey can someone come pick me up off the ground?

  • I think it's important to remember that your side of the queue is only half the story. The newbie might have been sitting in queue for a while so the MMR system said heeeeey so you've been sitting here for a few minutes, go face this 4 man SWF. It'll be fine. Go play!

  • If you give the survivors props when they do that you can rest easy since giving props doesn't really do anything.

  • Give PC killers another chance. We're not all serious. Trust in the MMR, like everyone else does.

    :>

  • On Crotus Penn there's a gray ramp that leads into the main building, but you can't just run up the ramp from the outside, you have to curve a little to the right and maneuver onto the ramp.

I do not like that ramp. It got me downed. I wasn't mad but the killer didn't earn it.

  • Congratulations! I like getting my adepts on survivors and killers before allowing myself to play with any other perks on them. It's kind of freeing, I think.

  • For Survivor

Soul Guard because I hate being one tapped/revived from down and getting slapped immediately down by the killer. Occasional unbreakable.

Self Care because I play too aggressively to be running around injured and it's just asking to get slapped down. I use my self care responsibly don't worry.

Desperate Measures because when I do utilize it, it's basically improved Botany Knowledge

Dead Hard because I need to get through that unintentionally bodyblocking/sandbagging teammate.

    For Killer

Corrupt Intervention because it gives me a second to set up and a lot of survivors spawn by blocked gens so it gets my first chase. Better than Lethal Pursuer if you watch for crows flying.

Discordance because having a generator light up when you have two survivors on a generator is never not useful

Devour Hope because I don't have the patience to camp hooks and I like being rewarded for it

A Nurse's Calling because I get a lot of mileage out of it and nobody expects it anymore.

  • Congratulations! You never know how a game is going to turn out until you play it.

    I'm proud of ya champ.

  • If we didn't have Leatherface, hooks may not have even passed as a concept. We may have ended up with something silly like chairs with rockets tied to the back of them. We wouldn't have Hillbilly either. Leatherface is a big inspiration to the game and should be noted as such. I like him for his influence.

I dislike facing him because a little too often he'll catch someone (or multiple survivors on a generator...) and we're instantly down a survivor and there's 5 gens left to do. I find him pretty uninteractive and his gameplay is just getting within cuddle distance and revving up his chainsaw. If you're near a pallet or window you're fine, otherwise you're out.

If it's a Bubba that can stomach getting 10 feet away from a hook then those matches can be fun if the other survivors don't throw their own tantrum. That's Bubba's job, team.

  • I'm just bad. If I somehow gain victory over you it was a fluke.

  • My games snap between 2 min chases that get 3 gens completed to 5+ min chases that get one gen done. There's rarely that middle ground where you survive by the skin of your teeth.

    Edit: North America East Coast

  • I put 10 bucks down and bought Classic Ghostface and Shiny Ghostface. My Ghostface actually has cosmetics now whoa.

  • Meg is going to do something dumb.

When you play Meg no matter how much experience you have you're going to do something dumb.

Meg consumes you for the duration of the trial.

    Just Meg.

  • Wait til you hear it and the killer isn't Huntress. It's an ear worm.

  • Unless they changed something, the longer you wait in queue the wider selection of players it pits you against. So if you have to wait for a few minutes the matchmaking server just grabs some poor sod and says 'hey. get'em.'

  • They had a Danganronpa chapter for the doll game that I can't remember the name of right now, so I imagine they'd do something similar. I'm a fan of the Dangan series but a lot of it is a brain game. Unless maybe there's a Monokuma bot running around but that's kinda eh.

  • If I was a newbie survivor I'd let go of the generator and hide as soon as I hear the terror radius. It does stop experienced survivors from just running around willy-nilly but that just means they've gotta walk for a second.

I think it just gives you the illusion of effectiveness because even if you get a survivor into chase while he's exhausted, all he has to do is walk for a second during a mind game and he's free from the effect. Sure it might prevent an immediate sprint burst but...

...it's rare I see sprint burst.

If you want to blind the survivors you'll probably want to run Hex: Third Seal. That can be nasty especially against survivors like me that aren't paying attention half the time. Where did that survivor get hooked?

He isn't doing it for points though. He is doing it for $, that his audience brings him.

Would you rather have a hundred dollars (11,000 Aurics) or 12,000 bloodpoints?

That's right. Those blood points are important.

  • If you're going to wreck a team, take the time to hook them between downs. Smell the roses. Enjoy the game. Those kind of games aren't worth the points you get out of them, even if queue times are instant imo.

  • Yanthink.jpg

Mmhmm. Let us share a smile while we can, because the fog calls. Love y'all. <3

  • survivi2.png

I've always been a bit wild with my points on both sides. Breaking the barriers and what not ;)

Those great skill checks are more important than you'd think, I'm tellin' ya.

Oh. I'm supposed to pick a favorite forum user aren't I?

It's you. The one reading this. Surprise!

Ill start. @Heartbound never ceases to make me laugh.

Aww thanks champ. <3 I am solely posting to entertain the people that read the forum and usually have a giggle after I hit post.

Oof I feel bad about not getting home til we hit page 4, but I must respond! (4 is the death number in Japan, ooo spookeh)

    Flourish.png

I've always had a unique approach to the game. I love to entertain people in the appropriate setting and have always try to make it fun for everyone. I actually started posting here just to do a bit of trolling but to my surprise the community was down with it so I still keep at it, mixing my experience with the game and my silly brand of me.

Come to think about it a killer like me is a bit spooky to face. Half a decade of experience and a habit of playing with his food. Yeesh.

I'm usually unique in my perspective on things too so I know if I don't say something, it will be lost to the void for all time. Consumed by the Entity. Like most things.

Dang the Entity is fat ain't she? Big ol' chunky spider boss.

  • I do it as preparation for wiggling, but I like to imagine it as protesting being picked up.
