Yes, the developers absolutely hate killers.
I personally saw McCote storm out of his office one day and deliver a brutal left hook to the Trapper's ribs. He didn't even show mercy as the Trapper fell to the ground and started crying either. McCote just kept kicking him in the face.
I thought he was gonna kill Evan but no, after like two minutes McCote just fixed up his clothing and walked away. Killers, gotta be careful I tell ya. Devs aren't messing around.
-
Guess he needed more chances to survive. Too op.
-
Red rank against my will here:
When you're down to 2 survivors or so it's a good way to not end up instantly downed. If its a full map sure find a friend. If totems are still up great inner strength.
It's just reliable. Slow sure, but reliable.

I like a lot about Pig. She's just my kind of fun. Unseen predator, ambush, highly complex piece if engineering.
Not many people play her either, so she's not common knowledge on how to counter. I dunno. Sometimes you just play a killer and it clicks.
She's not a bad choice. I like her style and the general idea of her. I just hate the random factor. If the pig is crouching after you and slugging every time you go to check a box no amount of skill can save you.
Checking a box in a part of a map where the pallets have been exhausted? You're probably going down. Some people may enjoy it, but I don't. I play the pig occasionally (not even close to my main) and I don't feel like the traps do anything...until they do and someone dies.
I think because you can't buy the pig with shards and the general who is Amanda or the saw series question for non saw aficionados keep her out a bit, but with the high speed meta even if people have traps on at the end and suddenly you're in end game, well, traps a tickin'.
I don't mind being outsmarted by another player. Getting ambushed at a loop and being forced into a different position is fine. I've just never been a gambler.
Ace Visconti and Amanda should get married.
-
It is a large map problem. Killers see it a lot more with low mobility killers during their generator patrols but survivors get hit by it when jigsaw traps come into play.
(Survivors move even slower than killers btw)
The game slowdown is a very good reason to like pig and I'm shocked you don't see more of her now that ruin is changed.
99% of the time I can get the trap off and it serves its intended purpose (to slow the game down) that 1% though...you remember it and it is a major feels bad man situation.
-
The pig main pretty much hit the nail on the head. The thing is the longer the match goes on, the more of an advantage the killer has so do you think the other survivors will just 99 a gen when you have a trap on your head?
No.
So you have between 2 minutes to 2 minutes and 30 seconds to dash across the map, less if you didn't want to do it injured, and attempt to remove said trap.
During this time other events could happen. You could be required to unhook teammates or you may enter another chase with the pig. Its random if you pick the right box or not btw. The entire match just sprays rng all over the place.
I've also had a second trap put on me sometimes. There is no worse feeling in this game I swear.
Edit: pig helmets really really unfavorable for survivors on the bigger maps because of the amount of ground you have to cover while also avoiding the killer.

"Size doesn't matter" - BHVR
It's not the size of the survivor that matters its how you use them.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Another nifty tidbit is if your character uses self care and bends down your hitbox is still standing (ie full sized) so a Huntress can peg you even if your model is hidden.
-
I've been hit through pallets occasionally. Its like a nice massage, except no because you die.
Please think of the Dweets.
-
The only thing I don't like is hunting down generators. You're guaranteed one upstairs and one on the second floor of fungus room above the basement.
There's probably one in the hallways. Then its just searching rooms with your fingers crossed.

What could they do though? They did all of his outfits from the series.
To be honest I think they should ask all licenses for a little wiggle room to make shard available outfits so dbd can get creative.
I would like Ash to run around in a Halloween themed pumpkin suit. Just big pumpkin on the torso and a stem on his head.
THE GREAT PUMPKIN ASHLEY J. WILLIAMS
-
I would legit be surprised if Ash never got anymore cosmetics.
Give it time. They will come.
-
If you think nerfing noed and ruin is bad wait until they come for territorial imperative.
Dun dun dunnnnn
-
We've all kinda trained ourselves to get as many loops out of a pallet as we can, but against doctor just drop the pallet a little early. There are times when he blocks a window or pallet that you need to vault in order to survive with his shock, but there's nothing you can really do about those.
He's not a killer you want to run around injured against.

Chain Chomp from Mario Universe with Princess Peach as our Survivor?
Yes please.
-
I gave this one some legit thought. Hillbilly seems (to be to my surprise) the killer I respect the most. They're generally bro tier.
Dweet, I have decimated your team, but the world needs pizzas delivered and your unique brand of customer service. Come with me, and struggle not for the hatch is yours.
-
The chain.
Because the killer is just a sentient chain with blood on it.
-
Wanna hear another joke?
Leatherface add ons
-
I'll consider it as long as I'm under 2000 points for survivor or killer. Anything over that I'll tough it out.
Its rare but if things are going that poorly I wanna play something else.
-
I've always ran borrowed for a reason, but decisive strike can slow down a hard tunneler.
Gotta do whatcha gotta do.
-
Maining survivor gives you gradual brain damage. My proof?
Look at my post history.
*click click click*
-
What. No mither is the best perk. It completely counters plague and one shot killers, and comes with built in unbreakable.
It's the best perk in the game!
-
Oh, so you're that Claudette in the corner I get as a teammate sometimes.
Miss ya bud. Get well soon.
-
The new killer is a chain chomp from the super Mario series.
-
Oh my god. I'm laughing but what an evil pallet spawn.
-
I'm no stranger to wanting the traps changed, but something that has always puzzled me is the pigs add ons for the reverse bear traps.
Exhaustion, blindness etc? In what situation are the safety helmets benefiting from those? They encourage a tunnel strategy that leaves three survivors free.
I don't get it. Maybe someone with 200iq does but I'm kerfunkled.
-
I play them all, it depends on what mood I'm currently in.
If I feel like being strategic: trapper or hag.
If I feel like brute forcing: clown or hillbilly
If I feel like being stealthy: Myers or ghostface.
If I want to mori someone: Demogorgon.
If I want something different: the rest of the cast.
My playstyle means I am the absolute worst with doctor. Every one is like ooo he can see you at any point. Y'know what? Survivors see the scream orbs too and that means they know where you are too.
This kills the Heartbound.
-
Everyone always says to get good, but Claudette actually got good.
Grats!
-
I have this weird feeling they're going to revolve around empowering the killer when players are either hit or in injured state.
Plague is already vomiting in anticipation.
-
I have trust issues because you never know if that friendly killer is going to turn on you for an end game challenge.
I'm still traumatized. I can't believe a killer would kill someone. :(
-
No items.
Fox only.
Final destination.
-
Skillbilly is a derogatory term for the Insta chainsaw add ons because he just needs to walk into you for a down.
If he misses he just has to walk up to you and try again. Get outplayed every time.
-
Pig is player vs environment.
Just put traps on all living survivors and afk in front of one of the boxes. Ez game ez life.

I never said to put a ban on people who suicide - that's dumb. Just don't allow them to rank up, or force them to depip if they are doing intentionally as a group. Sounds like a good trade off to me. However in way should you be rewarded for suiciding on hook intentionally during a match where you have 3 or less survivors depending on you.
Please actually read the post next time.
I'm just a memelord fam. I don't know to read.
But on topic you'd never be able to enforce it. I get what you want and that's cool, even if you wanted to I don't see how you could.
-
Ban everyone that gets hooked
-
Clown should kneel down and ask for a girls hand in marriage and then just bite off one of her fingers.
-
Can't we just get a different version?
Team fortress 2 makes the models head shrink to super tiny when a head gets blown off in that game. I don't know how the models are set up but it seems minor.
-
Raise your keys above your knees!
-
Careful what you wish for. The next killer could be a NASCAR driver and due to his familiarity with loops he'll shift into fourth gear and run our asses over.
-
If you're not ready to change your place of living, get a passport or fork down all of your money and devote yourself to dbd you're just not trying hard enough. Did you know stocks pay our dividends occasionally? Just put a few million in a blue chip stock and it pays for itself.
In the immortal words or Paris Hilton "just stop being poor lol"

Killers had unique hooks? When? What did they look like?
Imagine going on coal tower but instead of the trapper themed hooks you'd see the hook wrapped in bandages like in autohaven.
The hooks are still in the game, they're just tied to the map instead of the killer now.
-
My Trapper is my P3 Killer, would be nice to see him updated.
Also he's kinda the face of the game.
-
Tonight is kinda a mess. Nobody's dying on hook. It's either bleed out, disconnect or pig head pop.
Nobody's playing the actual game lol
-
Don't worry, a lot of the players I see can't play killer either.
*dabs*
-
It's kinda like playing Super Smash Bros and seeing everyone always pick Fox or Marth but now you're seeing Zelda mains and it just feels weird.
-
It used to be every killer had their unique hooks, so if you looked at a hook you would know instantly what killer you were facing. Now all hooks are standardized to the map you're on.
So uh...maybe? On a new map meant to represent the killer they might change the decoration, but unless they go back to the old way you wouldn't see it on every level.
-
Lol nice.
My feelings on things like Overwhelming Presence, Coulrophobia, etc is that it shows a little icon in red next to your perks that let you know the killer is around. The generator could be going BRHRHRRHRHRH and blocking out all noise but that little icon will give you away every time.
-
They got to have fun with Mr. Puddles how dare they even consider being salty.

Crab mentality is a thing. People even censor themselves all the time. The best thing you can do is keep on clickin'.
